Friendly service. Some of the food was good and some needed more salt. Drinks 🍸 was good. The waiter was missing for about 15 minutes and had to get somebody to go find him. We were ready to leave. We had to go to a comedy show. I'll probably never go back.

It was our first time eating here and overall it was very good. Unfortunately they were out of a number of dishes that we wanted which was a bit disappointing. Our server was pleasant and attentive.

I visited Batanga and realized they changed for the better! With a renewed menu and great atmosphere.I had a great time. Went on Saturday and there was live music and I was glad I made my reservation ahead of time. They incorporated additional creative tapas and dishes to the main Paella staple. I had Ahi Tuna Nachos, that were so fresh and “The Pig” with a flavor combinations that I was so pleasantly surprised of coming back to this place. The drinks menu includes skinny options. I had the Paloma. 👏👏👏definitely looking forward to coming back —- We came back. Added pictures of the eats: half baked oysters, lobster bisque and Chocolate con Papa and note there is a happy hour so this time I did try the margaritas and they were sooo good!

Overall experience is 3.5 on a Friday evening. The food was good:4. We enjoyed the fish tacos in the happy hours and the mushroom croquettes are very delicious. But the service was all over the place. Our waitress walked away as we were still ordering, we had to shout twice after her that we are not done yet. Then we get a dirty plate (I mean a big piece of food was stuck to the bottom), the guy took it and forgot to come back with a clean one. We would come back for the food, but not for the service for sure. Plus point for not using plastic straws!!

This is definitely a place that we’d come back and try again. The service was fast, the staff was friendly and the food was delicious. We came on a week night so maybe the experience is different on weekends. The food is reasonably priced and fresh. The highlight was definitely the yucca chips which were crunchy and fresh. It paired well with the ceviche. The empanadas were also really tasty and fresh. The only thing that were just ok were the drinks. They just tasted like they used really cheap alcohol.

We did accidentally show up a bit close to closing but they were bet accommodating regardless of that! The food tastes amazing and the drinks are really really good and unique. The bartenders are also willing to try and put together a drink if you know what goes in it for a fair price. I look forward to visiting again for a longer dinner.

If you ever in downtown and crave for good Latin tapas and wine, drop by Batanga. Wine is 50% off, albeit on a limited selection. We had the Malbec and it was good. All the small plates we ordered were excellent. Both the octopus and scallop would be perfect if the chef lower down a notch in the sweetness. The grilled quail was seasoned perfectly. Although it was busy on a sunday evening, our server Jesse was phenomenal, juggling his time to a big group on one side of the patio and us sitting on the other end. I think management needs a better food ordering system. We have different servers serving us numerous, yes numerous times, foods we did not order. Overall, great place for alfresco dining. If you enjoy live music with your dinning, come Thursday to sunday.

Very tasty for brunch. And the brunch item portions are larger than regular tapas, so no need to order too much. However we did and everything was pretty good. We were not a big fan of their gambas though. Also their drinks are bangin!
