"Take a Stroll to Nowhere in Barbados Too often us intrepid experiential travelers can get caught up in the whole effort of trying to do it all. "I must explore this off-the-map place!" "I have to try this exotic dish!" It's easy to forget that sometimes the best way to get to know a place is to simply stroll aimlessly. Luckily, Barbados makes it an attractive prospect."

That's the eastern part of the island, the ocean site, famous spot for surfing. Absolutely beautiful. A must see and visit.

Easily my most favorite coastal destination in Barbados. We spent a good half hour here wandering the beach. Large rocks jutting out of the ocean is just otherworldly. Very quiet, not a lot of people around at the time. A lot of sargassum seaweed though. It does have a bit of a smell and it’s thick and attracts bugs. But otherwise adds a bit of color and extra beauty to the scenery. I can only imagine what this beach would look like with none of the seaweed! Visited in May 2025

Beautiful rugged beach with sensational views. Worth noting you can't really get onto the beach itself due to the rough seas and huge amounts of seaweed, and the area doesn't have much to do expect for a couple of small restaurants. Still, I'd make time for this if you want to see some of the best views of Barbados.

One of Barbados's many stunning landscapes. Bathsheba did not fail to disappoint with it's unique rock formations! There are a few very cool rocks, that line the beach, more of the unique shaped ones are further down away from the "soup bowl". The beach itself is not swimmable nor a place to relax at. It's quite rocky as one would imagine. Great place to just enjoy the landscape. There is some parking in the area, but try to get there earlier if possible. We arrived around 1 PM and it was empty but by 2 PM it was getting very crowded.

Beautiful beach. It's not the best to get into a the rocks are sharp and can cut your feet. There are strong waves to knock you over, and lots of sea moss and weeds. I did enter though and the temp was nice, but I cut my foot so enter at your own caution. Best to just walk along the shore and let the waves touch you.

This beach is absolutely gorgeous and the approach to it is amazing. Essentially, you can see the coastline when you’re driving down, but be careful because the road is really tiny and there are large buses and big cars trying to squeeze in from both sides on what’s essentially a single lane. The beach itself is more for surfing and maybe a coastal hike, but there isn’t quite enough space for lounging. There is a park near Dina’s bar with some benches where you can lounge and eat if you want!

Came here on a weekday around midday. It is a lovely beach a little different from the others on the island. This beach is more rocky, and has rougher waves. If swimming or surfing please take caution and heed all warnings. It's truly a beautiful sight and very calming to watch the waves and listen to the ocean. There are areas to sit on the grass or benches as the shore is rocky in most places. Definitely worth the drive up here though. Would visit again.

45 minute drive from oistins, roads aro not kept up so prepare to polish yoir skills. Beach with the big rock formartions is worth the visit, really nice scenery, even you can picnic on the east side. Kids said the rocks looked like broccoli.
