"Getting your gamer kids to leave their lairs for a family meal can be a struggle. So meet them halfway at Battle & Brew, a video game restaurant in The Battery Atlanta that serves better-than-average sandwiches and pub classics. As the kids take over the couch, you can take the tabletop just behind it and swig locally made mead while marveling at how real the game’s cutscene looks. No, this isn’t the arcade food of your childhood. Crispy fried pickles, hearty double patty burgers, and a moist chocolate bundt cake make it one of the best meals you can have in The Battery." - demarco williams, nina reeder, jacinta howard

"For all the hardcore gamers who constantly get nagged to leave the house, consider Battle & Brew at The Battery. With futuristic neon signs, sci-fi memorabilia, and enough TVs to stock a Best Buy, the video game restaurant with great sandwiches and fun cocktails may become your home away from home. Sink into a comfy couch and let your muscle memory take over as you jam controller buttons. Soon, a cotton candy-topped vodka punch, falafel wrap, and an incredibly moist chocolate bundt cake will arrive at your table, and you’ll wonder if this could get any better. It does: the gaming venue turns into a late-night, 21-and-up party with DJs and themed nights that’ll make you glad you saved your Mortal Kombat costume. photo credit: Courtesy of Battle & Brew photo credit: Courtesy of Battle & Brew photo credit: Nina Reeder photo credit: Nina Reeder" - Nina Reeder

If you’re a fan of video games and great food, this is the place to go! The food is delicious, the atmosphere is delightful, and the service is top-notch. I’ll definitely be back, and I highly recommend this spot to anyone. The service was impeccable, and I have to give a special shout-out to our server, Amanda. From the moment we sat down, Amanda made us feel like VIPs. She was friendly, knowledgeable about both the menu and the games, and she even recommended a few titles. Amanda’s enthusiasm was infectious, and she clearly has a passion for both gaming and hospitality. She checked on us regularly, ensuring our drinks were topped off and that we had everything we needed.

Google
Great service. All of the staff was so friendly in chipper even ones I crossed in passing to the restroom. Very lively environment. Various spaces for different types of games & group sizes. Good selection of cocktails! The food is the only thing that I personally didn't love but one shouldn't expect too much of a bar. Will return

Google
We are here from NC for a Braves game. First place we came too! Great atmosphere, even better music (perfect mix of 90s 2000s and 2010s) food was great! Bartender/waitress (Amber) was amazing. Would definitely recommend this place!

David Champagne

Google
What a cool spot! The braves wrapped up a quick game and the kids got a bit of gaming while we enjoyed a couple of nice cocktails. $20/hour for two kids. Service call-button at all tables. A VIP lounge area is also available.

Google
We had a great time at Battle & Brew! They have plenty of gaming options for everyone and this is the perfect date night spot to bring your gamer. Asher was great and very helpful! I had the Tofu Teriyaki Stir Fry (7.8/10) and Star Guardian Ahri (10/10). All the food needed was more seasoning and sauce, but it was not bad. We played Mortal Kombat 11 and Mario Party. They charge by the hour for games and will ask if you need to add more time periodically.

Google
If you have a group and enjoy gaming, THIS IS THE PLACE!!! We stopped by here and killed 2hrs easy playing deferent nintendo switch games together while enjoying some Delicious appetizers! 😁😁😁 We'll definitely be returning!! ☆☆☆☆☆

Google
It was great. Cristobal is a great bartender who had all of the answers, yet kept me guessing the entire time. The sauce man for sure. The games were incredible, even though I left with a losing record. The food smacked. The drinks were well-priced. Will be back soon. Thanks.

Google
The staff was incredible. As soon as we walked in we were welcomed and they explained how it worked. There is a table charge (to be expected) $10/hour for table top games, $20/hour for console games. We opted for games on the Switch and had some drinks. I thought they had a good selection of drinks, including alcohol-free cocktails and they were priced well. We didn’t have good, but it smelled incredible. Two things to note- check your time when you get seated. We weren’t really sure how much time we had left as we planned to stay for only an hour and didn’t get a time-warning or tracker from them. Also the tip total is based on your table time too, so make sure to budget accordingly. I hope the tip get splits between service staff and front of house as they were the ones that set up and changed games for us. Overall it was a really fun time and I would recommend it!

Darsha L.

Yelp
Brad was AMAZING!!! Very knowledgeable and we felt right at home. Great food, good fun, plenty of laughs. I will be returning! The atmosphere was great! Very clean, very welcoming !

Yelp
We have been to the battle and brew in sand springs and now here... the one at the Battery is sooooooooo much better then the sand springs location!! Huge spot right down by the Braves stadium. The place is clean m, has lots of room, a huge center bar, and just countless gaming stations included a pretty dope pc area with lots of room as well. It really doesn't cost that much... for the PCs, which is what my boys played on, it is only 7$ per hour. For a couple of hours of entertainment it is really not bad at all. I'd spend a bunch more to go to a movie for sure! They do have food here, we had the cheese sticks... my oldest is an expert on anything cheese and he said these are some of the best he has ever had... my youngest is the queso critic... we had the chips and queso and he said although a bit runny that the flavor was outstanding... and we had some Sweet Chilli Thai wings that I thought were fantastic! Not too spicy not too sweet... even my youngest liked them! Another nice thing is they had nonalcoholic beer. Only one selection but it was a good one! There are staff all over to help, amazingly enough even when it got crowded it wasn't obnoxiously loud. We went back twice in 3 days and had a lot of fun both times. This is a great spot and one I know we will come back to again.

Yelp
I came here for a singles mixer tonight and although the event went well. I had an issue with a "server" named Amaya. I don't know if that was even her actual name as I was ordering from the bar the entire time but my god.... Why not hire servers that make you feel welcome for the amount of $$$ you're about to spend? It was so bad it made me not want to return here again. Just a bad server. Overall the bar was quick and so was the food but the food was gross. Just going to continue to go to Sandy springs.

Ray I.

Yelp
Very neat atmosphere with all the gaming going on - and most importantly, they have the business smarts to stay open late after the Braves game. Tad pricey for the drinks we ordered but great service at the bar. No food this visit, so we'll try some of the menu in our next visit and report back.

Leslie D.

Yelp
Good atmosphere and service. Lots of TVs for sport watching and setup for video games. Burger was well seasoned. Staff was friendly. Went for a special event with Kettle One that wasn't all that special but worth the trip.

Princess G.

Yelp
My family took me to Battery Park while visiting Atlanta and this place was a great find. I was a huge fan of all of the video games that can be played here. They also have a huge selection of card and board games. The service was good. Our waiter was attentive but not annoying. The food was delicious! This place is a must visit in the A!

Jane Y.

Yelp
Came here with friends attending the singles mixer. Great place/vibe and decent food. Cristobal was really awesome awesome! He recommended the bulgolgi tator tots which several of us really enjoyed and I got the blueberry lavender lemonade which was good as well!

Gabby G.

Yelp
We wanted to try the new location and stopped by for a drink at the bar. Our experience was a 10/10. We visited on a Monday night so it wasn't as busy and the bartender was very attentive. Service was great and the drinks were too. Looking forward to returning and trying the food menu.

David H.

Yelp
Cristobal cures depression and makes me feel like a human being. It was great to sit at the bar alone and suddenly be met by the friendliest person in the world. I was waiting for a few friends and his interaction made the wait over a million times better that the wait.

Eugene S.

Yelp
This is a cool restaurant, bar and gaming place that is within walking distance to Truist Park. We had the ribeye cheesesteak sandwiches with a side salad. Our meals tasted great. However, they were a little skimpy with the meat. For dessert my wife had the banana pudding. That was also really good. Our server was friendly and efficient. This place is worth checking out.

PaShawnae L.

Yelp
Always a fun spot for video games, very spacious with accommodations for your entire party. Headsets are available if needed, honestly the food isn't that great and neither are the drinks, but it is a great place to vibe out. Service is OK, they give you a button to press for your server for sometimes it still takes 15 minutes or more. Parking is validated after you spend $50, remember parking is free for the first two hours.

Graham K.

Yelp
I have been a long time visitor of battle and Brew in Sandy springs. While the concept is the same the execution is very different. This new location is like a spaceship. All of the Interior has modern Vibes and they have everything video game and board game related you could possibly want. They have a full bar and a surprisingly delicious menu. Our service was great, Mikayla kept our drinks refilled as we played Dungeons and Dragons. 11 out of 10 I will be back

Russell A.

Yelp
Great venue for gaming, socializing, drinks and fun! $20/hour for a two seater section. Half hour is half off on appetizers (6p-10p) and sections. Definitely coming here again! Welcome to the neighborhood!

Jazmine L.

Yelp
This is the coolest little spot right by the battery! Fun for a date or time with your kids. I brought my daughters here and we ate burgers and played games. The atmosphere is really chill! You can start with the a game but change it out if you want something different. It was a smooth process to change games. The food is always delicious too. I love it here for real

Robin S.

Yelp
I had a birthday party for my 17 year old son on Tuesday. On Tuesday all the games and vip room is 1/2 off the original price. My son had the best party ever. The food was good and the service was top notch. I invited all his friends to party as well. Over all I would definitely come again and recommend others to try it out.

Alysia J.

Yelp
Battle & Brew was a fun experience! I enjoyed being able to play video games while we ate and drank. It was a casual environment, and our hostess was friendly and not pushy with service. The food was tasty, as well as the drinks. Switching games required someone to come over to change it out, which wasn't the most efficient process, but overall we had a great time. We'll definitely visit again :)

Jessie L.

Yelp
Meh. Ambiance. That's the only good remark I can leave. So if you want to game and don't care how long or quality of your food this is your place.... Or server was clearly over seated, the only waitstaff working a very large area. This was not their fault, clearly on management for understaffing. It took 50 minutes from entering the establishment to actually place an order. My friends said their chicken sandwich was good, I had ordered wings which were overcooked and very dry. The blue cheese had to be requested, twice, and the first came out barely half full and looking like someone else had been using it already

Cheyenne K.

Yelp
Dear reader, Battle and Brew is the bees knees!!! However, Danny and Cristobal seem to be possessed by an alien (it's giving NPC). I have my reasons. Cannot be trusted. The end. Oh, get the ghost burger and the chicky chicky parm parm-- it's legen.. wait for it.. DARY!!!

Chelsea O.

Yelp
Battle and brew is sooo nice. We love this location! It's so new and clean. The food was great. We got the loaded tots and spinach dip. It was great to pick at the apps while we played some games. Our bartender Cristobal was great! We greeted us right away and welcomed us with a fun game of Bimini ring toss. We lost of course, Cristobal went 3/3. We had the best time! Highly recommend!

Brian M.

Yelp
Place can be so awesome. Game day (Braves & A's). Played one game. Tried to switch it out, Nobody showed. Server came by and said "they haven't shown up yet?". She left to get someone, nobody still showed up. Pressed the call button 3 or 4 more times. Not even the server showed up. We got tired of waiting (you pay $60/hr for a couch)so, to pay that to just sit on a couch is dumb. Need to do better. We also ran into the same "they haven't shown up yet?" With our drink order.

Matthew L.

Yelp
Service was great food was great and ambiance is fun. A good place for a lowkey night out drinking and playing games

Jimmy S.

Yelp
Food was great and service was fantastic. Wasn't expecting all the video games and such, anyone with kids would love it

wednavious r.

Yelp
The Food Service & Ambiance was 100/10 Lacie was amazing and friendly. The bar staff in general as well, on POINT!

Luke C.

Yelp
Christobel was an excellent bar tender. If he challenges you in ring toss you will probably lose like I did... was the perfect spot before the braves game.

Ada A.

Yelp
Great food, amazing service and the vibes were awesome, Definitely recommend this spot if you are in the area.

Sis P.

Yelp
Ambiance is cool! Service could have been better. Sadly not enough staff on the floor to support demand. Food was decent. May try again at a different time.

Lilly F.

Yelp
Food is great, service friendly, decent drinks, and the vibe is fun. Great option for families. The areas that have couches to play games are the best with a small group. Recommend this place.

Jordan A.

Yelp
Cristobal was awesome, hook game is his strong suit. Very personable staff and good restaurant environment.

Marilyn N.

Yelp
Denise, our server, was the BEST. Was super friendly and always checking in on us. Me and my friends had so much fun playing Super Mario World and feeling like kids again. 10/10 would recommend!!!

Andrew M.

Yelp
Lots of fun! Great time to spend with friends and a great date night! Love the drinks pretty sweet but they have options for everyone's liking, if you're thinking about it just give it a shot you'll be happy you did!

Adam W.

Yelp
What a cool place to hang out for the evening. Very clean and new. You can play all kinds of games - console or computer. I just had a drink and the bar. Fun cocktail menu with game-themed options. Pretty good liquor selection, too. Bartenders all very friendly and great service. I didn't eat, but the food looked and smelled good. Cannot wait to return for a fun night.

Michael M.

Yelp
Great food and good drink menu! Cristobal was friendly and offered great recommendations.

Elie M.

Yelp
Very clean, great prices and super friendly staff. Cristobal keeps it fun at the bars. Def coming back for food :)

Yobin L.

Yelp
The food wasn't as good as the other battle and brews and if you're going to go to a pc lounge I prefer to go to Korean owned ones where it doesn't shut off on you during ur game for groups it's fun like Mario party and stuff. Service was nice but kept interrupting our game like going in front of the screen blocking our vision.

Chris K.

Yelp
Cristobal was fantastic! Great service at the bar and the place was clean! Highly recommended!

Laura S.

Yelp
This was our first visit. The place had a great vibe. Nice comfortable areas to eat and play games. We were a party of 6. It took 30 minutes before a waiter came to get our drink and food order. We had terrible service from Neam the entire two hours. She appeared annoyed that another waiter had took our drink order. It's unfortunate that a 20% gratuity is automatically added. We noticed both tables near us were getting fine service. The food we ordered was all good.

Patricia P.

Yelp
Great location! It feels fresh and new without selling out from its original purpose of being a gaming bar. It is a place where I imagine gamers and non gamers can have a blast, a little known gem. The food choices were good and balanced. Fried pickles with jalapeños were yum. The banana pudding visits me in my dreams and I can't wait to have more. And I can because their salad was on point! It's all about balance. Staff was friendly and helpful. I was a little intimidated about the gaming piece not being a deep gamer myself and relieved to see kids, noobs, and hardcore gamers all enjoying the fun in different ways. Can't wait to return with my kid.

Amie A.

Yelp
We went there for a family event. The kids enjoyed the games and the adults had plenty of space to eat, drink and chat. The food was delicious especially the sweet potato fries.

Keith H.

Yelp
Alex was are server, he showed us how to play the game, it takes two. He was well informed with the menu, he recommended the nachos. They were excellent. His customer service was nothing short 5 stars. He always popped in on us to check if we needed any thing or to see how we were getting along with the game . Definitely will be returning

Taylor C.

Yelp
Burger and beer were great. Service was horrible. It was slow and the bartender seemed uninterested in any customer.

Dylan B.

Yelp
Came to Battle and Brew at the battery and was told I would get a table even if I was on waitlist had I arrived 30 minutes earlier. I didn't end up getting a table for an hour. Food and atmosphere was good but never mind that, service took forever. When we wanted our check it took about 30 minutes with our server sitting on her phone. And also on top of everything else for a party of 5, there was a hidden 20% tax on the check they never mentioned. Service was so poor I just had to give this a 1 star.

Justin F.

Yelp
Cristobal had very good service but needs to take the ring game home to practice. 10/10 would recommend, easy win.

Ed T.

Yelp
Overpriced games and menu. That wouldnt be so bad except they dont validate parking. Limited tap selection. The other location has a faster kitchen. And more beer options.

Riley Katherine M.

Yelp
Dahlia is the best! She is the sweetest person and is so accommodating! Great food as well! and great service!

Matt W.

Yelp
Great food. Fun atmosphere. Gets a little less family friendly the later it gets. Service was not the greatest but there was a big party making it rough.

Kelli R.

Yelp
if I could give this place a zero I would. We called 4 days before coming and made reservations for a game day night for our son's birthday dinner. We knew the battery would be super busy so we wanted to make reservations so we wouldn't have to stand in line for hours. when we walked in the hostest said they couldn't honor our reservations because they got "too busy" and would be backed up probably over 45 minutes. after speaking with the manager they told us we could be seated at a gaming station and then order food in 45-60 minutes and that we would still have to pay the $40 an hour fee for the gaming station while waiting to order food. what is the point in making a reservation if this is how they manage them? absolutely ridiculous. every game day is going to be busy how in the world are you not prepared for that? unacceptable and ruined our sons birthday dinner. Will not ever come back reservations or not.

Rick T.

Yelp
We walked in, and the place was dark. There were no lights on and no people around. Then, everyone came out and yelled, "SURPRISE!!" Apparently, somehow they knew that it was my wife's birthday. So, they surprised us with a cake, drinks and ice cream. Also, FREE FOOD! We knew that we couldn't turn THAT down. So, we had a good time. To say the most...

Dahlia N.

Yelp
best burger in town- you will thank me later! Also the apps, craft beer selection and Asian stirfry is a fave of mine too YUMMM.

Joseph C.

Yelp
I'm a big big baseball fan who is originally from NY and has been living in ATL for several years now. I was so, so excited to see my NY Mets play the Braves on April 10 at Truist Park. However, the game was canceled due to rain. I was devastated. I had gotten to The Battery early to pre-game and take in the sporting atmosphere, and now was lost and unsure what to do. I saw Battle & Brew and figured I'd numb my pain with some food, drinks, and MLB video games. I'm glad I made that decision. I had a great time eating, drinking, and gaming at Battle & Brew. The food was delicious (shoutout to the fried pickles and Jolene sammie) and the drinks were on point (I've been on a sake/soju kick, and the selection was wonderful and fairly priced). Additionally, I want to give a round of applause to the B&B staff. This bar tender/server/all around swiss army knife Lyss really seemed to be holding the place down. She was a drink slinging machine! Kudos, and thank you for taking such good care of me that night. I look forward to coming back prior to my next baseball game or concert at the Roxy
