I was SO excited to come here. Are you kidding me, a battle cat themed coffee shop?! I wanted to get all their merch before I even got there.
HOWEVER
Upon entering this establishment, the environment immediately felt hostile.
There were 3 people in the main area & someone at the bar but we were able to find another more tucked-away area with no one in it to put our things down.
We utilized the chessboard that was left out on the table, which was cool. But the pieces didn't come from the same set & some were broken & wouldn't stand up but rather fall over, which left me thinking that it was probably more of a decor thing & they'd actually prefer for you not to stay a while & play.
Now onto the service, not great. at all. I'd actually probably never come back simply because of the way we were treated. I'm not sure if we weren't fitting the goth aesthetic in there or what, but the cashier had a weird, rude, and super agitated, vibe going on right off the bat. She wasn't educated about their product whatsoever. When we asked about what teas she had, she just pointed towards the back wall where they were all set up & said "Those are the ones I have". First of all, they're far away so it's hard to read the names, & the ones I was interested in were rubbed off. When I asked about one she looked at me like I was stupid before trying to read it for herself & realizing that it was rubbed off. She finally moved from her cross-arm stance & went to go grab it, she literally slammed it onto the counter & I was shocked that the glass didn't break.
Anyway, after getting past the miserable ordering process, we waited for quite a while. Our drinks were set right outside the room we were sitting in, which I found odd, like you're 4 feet away, why not set it on the table, after we visibly tipped 20% (She made sure to check before making our order) Our order wasn't good. Well, the tea latte wasn't. Like the worst one I've ever had actually. The matcha was alright, I asked for light ice & I got a full cup of ice.
Idk, come at your own risk ig.
