My now-husband and I had our wedding ceremony and reception here in August, and I’ve been struggling trying to put the words together for this review since then. I can’t get it to fit in the maximum amount of characters. We were so beyond in love with the venue and the staff, and the general manager, Tony, made everything so stress-free and took so much of the details off of us and made our dream come to life. What BK offers is not just a venue, but an entire service that is centered around making this the easiest and best decision of your whole wedding planning process. The answer to every “Can you…” or “Can we…” question will always met with a “We will make it happen” mindset before ever saying no, and they followed through with that every single time. Every single member of staff went so far out of their way not only as a group but individually as well to make sure not only my husband and I were happy and taken care of, but every single one of our guests as well. I have never met a group of people so eager and happy to be at work and serve people – which speaks so highly to the entire culture and operations of BK Tap Haus. I can’t put into words how happy my husband and I are with our experience at BK. They genuinely did everything possible to make our lives so easy and stress free not only throughout the planning process but especially on the day-of as well. It made such a huge difference in our entire wedding experience, especially as there was such a clear difference with the stress of planning all of the other aspects of the wedding versus the venue, food, and drink. Navigating other vendors was so stressful and you have to fight to make the experience not bitter at times. All the while, everything with BK was like a breath of fresh air. It was like night and day.
BK Tap Haus is easily the best priced for the best value in the area, on top of the fact that you get so much out of it. They do a flat price, no hidden fees or extra junk added on top. They are transparent and honest, and worth every penny. They offer so much in-house. When you work out details of other wedding venues + caterers (that must be on their approved list) + bar service (that also must be on their approved list) + impossible décor rules, it gets to be such a headache and so insanely expensive that it makes the sparkle of wedding planning just fade. None of that is needed with BK Tap Haus, and the cost here versus the combination of adding everything up elsewhere is not even a competition. I would choose BK every time.
Food? Amazing – over 75% of my guests made a point to come tell me how insanely good everything was, and I have photographic proof of the rest devouring first, second, and third helpings! Drinks? Phenomenal – everyone was so in love with the bartenders and staff, and they made our signature drinks come to life (mine, by the way, was created by BK Tap Haus just for me, and can still be purchased today by asking for the “pink drink”). Ambiance? To die for – I received so many compliments from all of my guests – who don’t normally take note of this sort of thing – just absolutely raving about how beautiful everything is and how wonderfully such an aesthetic bar/restaurant can be enhanced and instantly turn into such a gorgeous industrial/rustic venue. The venue is beautiful and is so incredible flexible and openminded with décor and other requests, and all of my guests raved at the beauty of the wedding. People loved being able to go out on the patio and use the fire pits – especially during the June-August months!
I have sent over 74 people/groups to visit BK since we initially booked them, and I will continue to do so every chance I get. There is not enough room in this review for me to say everything I want. If you want a referral for BK Tap Haus, every single member of my family, wedding party, and guest list will give you one in great detail. Five stars is not enough.
