"After more than half a century, beloved Pike Place deli Bavarian Meats announced today that it will permanently close its Market location May 31. However, fans should take heart that the sausage purveyor is currently seeking out a new outpost, and will provide details on reopening somewhere else soon." - Gabe Guarente

This was our first stop at Pike’s and wanted to have a little appetizer to fuel our walk around. This shop has a lot of meats and jerky on sale. Everything seems freshly prepared in house. The Polish Sausage on a stick was my favorite, as it was seasoned well and the casing pops in your mouth! It seems like breakfast would also be good here, as I smelled them making fresh home fries!

Ordered the party cone (meat galore) and a pretzel! I love German sausages and the party cone did not disappoint. The only complaint is that my cone had lots of Weisswurst which I am not a fan of. I tried theirs and it wasn’t bad but I cannot stomach eating a lot of it. Paid $11 for both items which I feel is good since everything is overpriced down at Pikes Place.

I am reviewing their grocery selection. I went in to see if they had kaiserschmarnn and was very surprised that they did. They have a good selection of baking items and cooking stuffs which I really appreciate!! Additionally, they even had some lebkuchen so of course I will be back to buy some once the holidays roll around.

Most delicious! And we were looking for an oyster bar at the time but couldn’t resist wondering in. Well worth the detour. The popper was epically delicious!

I ordered Wiener Schnitzel but I didn't like it. It didn't feel freshly made or the meat itself wasn't fresh. Like when you eat the leftover from yesterday's lunch. You can buy Ritter Sport, though...

Neat authentic place in the midst of a market that can feel a little too touristy at times. I usually come here when I'm in town and is always good. A nice little oasis.
