In an area such as South Forsyth, there's an abundance of Indian restaurants to cater to its overflowing Indian population. I think you can find a place with better food and better service than this for a comparable price.
Service- the servers didn't seem trained. Mistakes happen, of course, but I saw glasses falling down, tables not having enough silverware. The servers never checked up on our meal, nor did they refill our water even once. The servers seemed rather quiet and there weren't enough servers.
Furthermore, the servers blocked off the area with the booths and made patrons sit down at tables with chairs (the tables were too small for 4 people). When the lunch rush came in, they removed a "reserved" sign one by one. It would make more sense to allow customers to sit down in the booths before filling up the tables. Major points were taken off of their review because of this. Also, their servers were very soft spoken and I don't think any of them cracked a smile. Management needs to train their servers to be more professional.
The chicken 65 was mediocre at best. It wasn't juicy, but it was alright. The rava dosa was a bit too sweet for my taste, but at least it wasn't too oily.
I asked our server to make our Kadai chicken less spicy, and he said that wasn't possible. This makes me think that their foods are not cooked to order, and that they are simply reheated (as many of the reviews state). It took 25 minutes to receive our chicken 65, and the presentation of the foods wasn't great either.
When you sink your teeth into a naan, you crave the fluffy yet crispy texture, but these naans were thin and didn't taste fresh. The garlic naans didn't have a distinct garlic flavor.
The mango lassi was pre-made and already in plastic cups. This didn't taste fresh, either. I believe they pre-made this in preparation for lunch.
You can find much better food in this area. I don't recommend coming here. What I thought was interesting was that every single customer was Indian. This means that the customers were coming here for a quick lunch, nothing more.
