Great small educational center. We enjoyed the interactive exhibits as well as the sphere videos. They were playing info about extreme weather and another about planets.

Very nice little interactive gallery of coastal ecosystems and wildlife with a really cool 3D model of the planets. Our kids had a great time doing hands on tasks including knot tying and "digging" for clams. The "planet room" consisted of 4 ceiling mounted projectors aimed at a central sphere that resembled each planet with animation and recorded info that played while you sat and watched.

This is a free museum that is very educational! We took our toddlers here and they absolutely loved it!! They have a neat boat, ropes to learn knots, different models with animal sounds and everything goes into great detail explaining each exhibit. You definitely have to check out the 3D globe they have in the back room it is pretty fascinating! Its a neat place to go with the kids if you're visiting Rockport! Right next to the beach too it doesn't get much better than that!!

Great little education center, even for a short visit. The Whooping Crane display is great with a life-sized model.

We just happened to arrive in time to attend a very interesting and educational presentation by a UT grad student on seagrass. These presentations occur on Wednesdays at 2pm. We highly recommend attending!

Yelp
I heard that there were only two of the globes in Texas. One is in McAllen & the other is here. Takes 4 projectors and I could watch it all day. Informative place to visit.

Yelp
I was lucky enough to go there on opening day. It was my Mother's one Mother's Day wish :-). Cute and very informative education center with extremely helpful and friendly staff. Of course, they are following Covid procedures and, with it being free, II would recommend to anyone local or visiting And especially with children to check it out.

Yelp
A small education center with interactive, interesting exhibits about local plant and animal life. It does a pretty good job making science fun! They have a Science on a Sphere attraction, one of (currently) 61 in the world. SOS is a video projection display on a large orb to show global data like weather patterns and commercial air flights. Really any "datasets" the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration makes, they will show. Before the official, narrated event on the sphere they show educational videos about planets or water on the earth. And it's free. Definitely check it out if you are in the area.

Yelp
A MUST see if you are visiting Rockport/Fulton!! Open Tues - Sun 1pm-4pm Amazing presentations at 2pm & 3pm. Different presentation every day. Free Admission They have a spherical shaped screen and a 45 minute presentation. Topics include: weather, land masses, oceans, etc.... Our kids, ages 10-13 were captivated. It would also hold he attention of younger kids as well. The adults enjoyed it too. There is a lobby with lots of hands on activities as well.

Yelp
Very nice little FREE educational place, great for cooling off and getting a break from the heat and you can learn something at the same time. My entire family really enjoyed the Science on a Sphere narration about the planets. Funny and interesting. It was the best part of the center.

Yelp
This was one of the highlights of our visit in Rockport. Mrs. Suzy Citek, Education Specialist, did a magnificent presentation of the "Science on a Sphere" program. We could not have been more impressed with her knowledge covering the data programs. Don't miss this. Becky and Fred Hoffman
