What a lovely place! Especially how accommodating their team was. I was a speaker for a lunch meeting, and I got there 3 hours early to finish a certification online, right up until the presentation. Jerry welcomed me and easily offered a private room and wifi for my class. It was a private wine room! The nicest smelling and looking office space I have worked in, haha. I was also impressed by their lunch platter, and they even allowed me to pack up my lunch to go since I hadn't gotten to eat. Great place and staff. I hope to be back.

Absolutely beautiful! The workers were very good as well and are extremely hardworking. It was very clean except for the floor which stained feet after taking my heels off to dance. I go weekly for the tennis tournaments, I don't play but I watch someone. Everyone is always so nice and lovely, the set up is absolutely stunning, I absolutely love watching the sunset while I watch the tournament. I love it here

Fantastic place that contracts my services from time to time. Not your average snooty country club. A group of some of the best people around.

Private course. But was able to enjoy this beautiful course through private invite. Loved it. I hope to go back next year! Also got to watch ladies long drive champion 2013 tee off with us.

We just had our wedding in bayoaks. It is a lovely place and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. The event manager Mike is a problem solver and definitely deserves five stars. The DJ Mike also functioned as a MC. The wedding and the reception went smoothly and we all enjoyed our evening.

This country club is absolutely pristine for hosting weddings. Large space allows for a full wedding take place indoors, and the bar on the right side of the club is perfect for grabbing drinks. The background scenery is beautiful with the wide open view of a green, luscious golf course. The only thing I would recommend is possibly better and more restrooms!

Our family just joined Bay Oaks. We love the welcoming atmosphere, the well-maintained facilities, dedicated pickleball courts and fitness classes, and the pool! My kids are enjoying themselves. The club events are reasonably priced, too, so families can enjoy.

I signed up for social membership but it turns out it was anything but social. I was forbidden to bring a guest to the Christmas party. I am recently widowed and new to the area. I had the "ambassador " given the wrong phone but still met her by accident- even with the right number was never contacted- ever! I was hospitalized and had no friends at my club. They refused to cancel the contract and did not care " social" contract had failed my expectations.

I played here for the first time last week and loved it. Even though it had been raining for the past week before that, the course was maintained fairly good. Tee boxes were clear. I hate when other golfers rush you by setting up or put balls while you're on the green but I did not have that problem here. Everyone is super nice. Cart girls come around with drinks pretty frequently and are very respectful while you're teeing off.

The staff is wonderful & very helpful all the time. The events hosted are so awesome.

We finally came out of our house for the second time since the shutdown! Friends invited us to have dinner with them at the BOCC. First, there was social distancing and all of the staff and people walking around were wearing masks. Second, the food was really good. We had the trio Mexican dip with chips as our appetizer. For our main course we had the grouper with crabmeat (which was excellent). Others had a large salad and a chicken melt sandwich with fries. Everyone raved about their food. For dessert we had the sampler that was different than most. It was in a large dessert bowl and the samples were stacked all over each other. That said, it was still very good. We will good back if invited.

Outstandingly great staff who are professional , friendly and efficient . These people go the extra mile to ensure that you have the best possible time at Bay Oaks . This applies from start to finish , from the event staff to the pro shop to the cart guys to the restaurant and bar staff . I recently held a birthday celebration there and the only reason I have given 5 stars out of 5 is that it is not possible to give 6 stars out of 5 ! Would have no hesitation at all recommending Bay Oaks to anybody looking to host a professionally run high end celebration or event - delighted with what we got . Thank you so much .

We recently had our wedding ceremony and reception at Bay Oaks and it was absolutely beautiful! I have nothing but good things to say about the venue and the staff. The food was fabulous and all the feedback I received was positive. The ceremony was outside in front of the water fountain and was picture perfect! All the vendors we used were recommended to us, each being wonderful and we had no issues with delivery or set up. Ashley is the Event Director and is such a delight to work with. She is so sweet and professional and extremely knowledgable when it comes to planning any event at Bay Oaks. I never had a question go unanswered and always heard back from her in a timely manner. She provided us with plenty of information and ideas to make our day special. We were pleasantly surprised when she showed up at the wedding the day of to make sure we were taken care of and ensure that everything ran smoothly. Not only is the venue beautiful but it is filled with beautiful people who want to make your celebration feel like it is the most important thing in the world!

Awesome club! Great service and quality products (food, golf course, etc.). Perfect for family events and enjoying the local scenery. Highly recommend.

We are very excited to be new members of Bay Oaks. The fitness center and classes seem great, as does the ONE benefit. Looking forward to meeting people (happy hours, etc), golfing, and working out. And trying the dining room.

Such a great Club to be a part of! Hands down the best golf course in the area, 9 tennis courts, great dining options, fitness center, Kids' Club and the staff is wonderful!

Bay Oaks is a great place for any kind of event. I went looking to see if it would be the place for my wedding. The event planner (Julie) is so knowledgeable and helpful! She had all these great ideas! The room is pretty standard. Nothing amazing but there is a really pretty view of the golf course with the huge Bay Oaks houses in the back. There is a little side room that could be for people that want quiet seating or to house your buffet tables. There is plenty of parking for all your guests. You can use their huge locker room for getting ready for the wedding if your churches is too small or if you have your ceremony there. They can do all the linens for you. They do all the food and have lots of options for that. I believe if they don't have a wine you want on the list they can order it for you if you are picky about your alcohol. They also do Friday weddings if you want to find a way to decrease costs. I am not having my reception here but if you are having your wedding in the Clear Lake area you must go see Bay Oaks to see if it is what you have been dreaming about!

Great golf layout and course conditions. Staff is courteous and work hard to insure members are satisfied. Food is excellent and members are very nice

I hosted a Sunday morning post-wedding brunch for 47 family members at Bay Oaks Country Club. This particular Sunday coincided with the once-per-month Sunday Champagne Brunch. So, it was a lovely spread of food choices including breakfast items and also very solid lunch choices. The planning, service, ambiance and food were just great. I am grateful to the staff at Bay Oaks and would do this again. We were able to fit 5 tables of 10 in the side room, which can be closed off, and also the mounted TV was perfect to play the slide show that we had made for the rehearsal dinner. It was perfect.

Exceptional course with a fun layout. What isn't fun is a 5 hour pace and sitting behind people, all things considered it was Good Friday so I can let that slide. Fun round of golf hope to play again with a faster pace.

Bay Oaks Country Club is excellent! Great food, great staff, beautiful room for a reception or dance, and pretty outside for a wedding ceremony. The price isn't outrageous either! I've been to a few weddings here and definitely recommend it.

Ashley from Bay Oaks was super helpful before, during and after our training workshop. She was always so responsive and willing to work with me on what we needed. Our on-site contact, Ly, was wonderful as well. Beautiful venue, good food, would hold a meeting here again.

We hosting an event at Bay Oaks last week and it couldn't of gone any better! Everyone involved in planning, food prep and staff did a great job! We will be hosting more meetings for sure!

My group recently held a large meeting here. The venue is lovely. The staff was accessible & helpful. Our contact for the day, Conrad, was courteous and attentive and did an excellent job at setting up our a/v presentation. We had a simple beverage station that was stocked with water, tea and coffee and quite sufficient for our needs. Would definitely consider Bay Oaks CC again in the future for this annual event.

We had a reception in the afternoon at Bay Oaks County Club to celebrate my husband's life recently. It was perfect. We scheduled it in the Red Oaks Bar & Grille. I worked with the General Manager and the Private Events Director and they had excellent ideas. They had plenty of seating at tables for those who wanted or needed to sit, and enough walking room in the middle of the Grille for those who wished to visit and stand at cocktail tables. They even had some seating in the hall if needed. The slide show was projected onto the large screen TV at the end of the room over the food where it was visible to everyone. We also had music in the background of his country western favorites. They had heavy hors d'oeuvres, and the bar in the room was available for beer, wine, soft drinks and mixed drinks. The servers were efficient and outstanding. Many of our friends told us that day and later that they thought the reception was wonderful. Janet G.

We celebrated my mother's 90th birthday at Bay Oaks Country Club. The staff were wonderful. They were very accommodating and responsive. The food was great with substantial portions so the men did not go hungry. The room was beautiful and set up perfectly to receive gifts and accommodate the guests. Thanks for helping me make my mothers birthday very special.

On February 1, 2014, my daughter held her wedding and reception at Bay Oaks Country Club. The wedding was held outside and was absolutely beautiful. A flock of ducks even took off during the wedding. It looked like we had released them. Totally amazing! The reception food was delicious and beautifully presented. Our guests commented on how fantastic every thing was. The event director and her assistant did an amazing job. Thank you for all your help in making my daughter's wedding so memorable.
