For a place that calls itself a sports bar, I think management needs to strongly re-assess their priorities. Number one: not having volume on any of the TV’s for game 7 of the World Series is a massive blunder.
Following up from that, one of the bartenders seems to think it’s not actually a sports bar but rather her stage to freely yell at people on a whim.. Whether it was calling out people who hadn’t yet picked up their food, or obnoxiously expecting the whole bar to sing happy birthday to one of her coworkers with her, she was all too happy taking it upon herself to verbally assault all of our ear drums repeatedly with her microphone. The birthday song portion coming during the bottom of the 9th inning in a tie game winner-takes-all moment. When all of the patrons were yelling at her to be quiet, instead of recognizing the important sports moment that was occurring (at the sports bar…) she instead doubled down and yelled at security to kick people out.
Extremely disappointing behaviour from the one bartender, the other staff seemed great.
Food was good and the atmosphere was otherwise fun, but unfortunately I likely will not be back.
