Google
Confused by the high score. Saddened I got out of bed that early and drove so for this "average at best" place. The score drew me in. My companion and I left thinking how do they have a 4.6? How sway? Another reviewer who also was left disappointed after eating here said maybe they've undergone new management and the score isn't yet reflecting how their quality has down down. That's gotta be it or we just ordered all the wrong food. Bacon, eggs, pancakes, salmon Benny all just very basic average (shrugs)... the street potatoes were not what I was expecting at all! They told me it was cheese peppers and onions but I thought this would be like skillet fried potatoe stir fry sort of thing but no it's sort of a close cousin to scalloped potatoes. It's like cheesy saucy potatoes served in a ramekin. They weren't bad, I'd say it was the stand out dish for me compared to the rest, my companion didn't like em at all though. Oh well. Won't be back but I say you should definitely check this place out. Everyone's taste buds are different. Mine weren't impressed.

Overall food is good. Cafe is not the best. Ordered dirty chai latte and I didnot like it. For breakfast ordered crossaint with eggs (In picture) and Philly Cheese Steak ( Not breakfast item but that is the only thing appetizing to my friend). For vegetarians there is Avocado tost but nothing else. Value for food is okay, most places charge the same.

We were looking for a place for breakfast and stumbled on this Diner. What a great find! I recommend this for breakfast brunch, lunch. Food was great had the Spanish omelette and wife had the chicken club. This place is a home run when in Arlington

Google
This restaurant was Delicious! We’re from Houston and found this place based on reviews - & it most definitely lived up to the hype! The food was fresh, and tasty! I could have eaten everything on everyone’s plate, but I stopped myself! If we find ourselves back, we will most certainly stop by again! 🥰

Google
When entering, it does make you feel like you’re in a New York diner. Love the decor and the vibe. Music was a little loud but overall the atmosphere was great. We sat down and found out you have to go the register to order. The hot latte and chi tea was SUPERB. the food came out and the presentation was great but it was only topped by the taste. The French Toast was delicious and the Spanish Omelette was so flavorful. This place is halal so no pork bacon or chorizo, but the beef bacon and chorizo was exceptional. The staff was great and the manager was very involved in making sure we were doing great. This is definitely a place I would recommend and return to.

I live in Dallas, but was in the area so I stopped into this diner. I had one of the best omelette I’ve ever had. Clean, fresh ingredients. No fuss. Everyone who works here is so kind. Chat with Maria!

Google
Really warm pleasant visit. As soon as you walk in you are greated by sweet ladies. Its open seating. They offer beef, turkey, and pork bacon. The beef bacon is fantastic. They cook everything fresh and have fresh fruit. The waffle was cook to perfection and crispy. Everything was fantastic. I will be coming back.

Google
The service here was great all the ladies! The people at the register! Everything was amazing. Really nice atmosphere! I ate every bit of it. Will keep this place on my top list!

Yelp
I live in Dallas but needed to be over in this area. Found this diner on yelp. Ordered the healthy omelette.. Truly, one of THE best omelettes I've ever had! Highly highly recommend all the food here

Yelp
We had such a great time here, we were celebrating our 10th anniversary by meeting with a couple of friends for brunch here while were in the area for the Stray Kids concert! Please be aware, when you get seated, then you can go order your food, that was something I should have noticed or noted, but no biggie, someone came to our table and quickly told us how it works :) Everything was so delicious. Special mention to the staff, as they noticed my little one and offered to make a smile with whipped cream on her pancake, she was in awe and the smile on her face thanks to the kindness of the staff, it is something I will always remember!

Yelp
The food is ok... the pricing a bit high for bfast. The menu has limited choices. The inside is neat, the people were kind, but it wasn't the best bfast spot I've been to. Please wait to be seated but come up to the register to order is a bit weird. It's just an on bfast spot.

Yelp
Fast service! Good prices! Austin vibes! We really enjoyed it! Hidden spot in Arlington

Yelp
I love it. Enough said!! I take all my visitors here from outta town. For a great space plenty options, and not as crowded as some of the other places in the DFW area! Simple and flavorful flavors ... you will not find pork here!! Just a heads up! But best pancakes in town!!

Yelp
We kicked things off with a hot Caramel Macchiato that tasted like a warm hug from a dessert wizard. The Dirty Chai? A little less magic, more like a caffeine-fueled identity crisis. Then came the Cajun Omelette--holy hot sauce, that thing slapped harder than Monday morning! Smoky, spicy, and possibly made by a Louisiana grandma with superpowers. My wife had the BANANARAMA Crepes, and let's just say I went from "not a crepe guy" to "is it acceptable to lick the plate in public?" 10/10 would return--with a bib and fewer manners.

Yelp
SERIOUSLY SO GOOD. Brunch spot located on an unassuming strip with a trendy, clean interior, delicious food, and the best staff ever. I was not expecting much from the Hell's Kitchen Quesadilla ($13.5) but it was unlike anything I have ever had - filling, flavorful, and delicious. It had a chicken-cheese-egg-salsa mixture inside. The" salsa" that came on the side was very watery but overall a stellar dish! BF got the Waffle Works ($13.5) - and loved it. The Vanilla Cappuccino ($6) was huge, sweet, and delicious. The food feels fresh and healthy, the portions are generous, and the prices are unbeatable. The staff are amongst the sweetest, friendliest, and loveliest I have experienced at any spot. Solid 5 Stars!

Yelp
I just want to say that this small breakfast place is amazing. The food was unbelievably good. I enjoyed my omelette. The restaurant itself is very clean and has a small town vibe to it. The service was great and you go up in order and then pick up your food. Would highly recommend this place.

Yelp
Service was quick and the food is made to order. Great experience and friendly staff

Yelp
We ordered the chicken and waffles, and unfortunately the chicken breast strips were overcooked to the point where you could see the fibers. they were tough and stringy. It almost seemed like the chicken had been cooked ahead of time and then refried to order, which left it very dry. We also had eggs with Benedict sauce, but the sauce had little to no flavor. My dish was plated beautifully, but for the price, the flavor just wasn't there. The place has great reviews, so it was disappointing that the quality fell short. On a positive note, the customer service was excellent.

Yelp
Great food! Great presentation as well! Everything looked and was delicious! Service was great, very welcoming and kind. The restaurant was clean.

Yelp
Cute spot! Hotel breakfast wasn't doing it for me so I stopped in for a bite. Burrito was delicious and the decor is great too.

It's a nice spot with excellent customer service. I had an omelette, and it was flavorful.

Yelp
From the moment you enter into Bay 34th Street Dinner - you realize that you've found something special. You're greeted by their wonderful staff that embody the homey feeling of this cafe! Lamar is usually up at the front, his personality and kindness will keep you smiling the whole time. The building itself is small but the service and table turn around is quick - you have indoor and patio options. They can handled large groups but it is busy inside so be mindful of how long you nest. You do need to order up at the front and they have a To-Go line as well. Lastly the kitchen - it's clean and truly maneuvers like an old school dinner. They have multiple people in the kitchen and you do not wait long for your food. Everything comes out hot and off the stove! I've been coming here for a while now, it's always my first choice in the mornings. Give this place a shot - they are more than worth your visit :)

Yelp
Food was fresh and service was quick! The grits were perfect - cooked well and not seasoned so you could add what you wanted. The guacamole was a bit heavy on the onions and needed some seasoning but it didn't take away too much from the meal. Philly omelette was a major hit. This restaurant has a homey feel but still has ample seating.

Yelp
Nice quick and delicious. Omelette, Egg Benny and Crepes all recommended. Small and quaint

Yelp
Bay 34th Street Dinner?! Why not! Not only did this place pop up on Yelp but it was also suggested on Googled. This place was solid. Breakfast/brunch that did exactly what it said it would do, fed you. I get that people may look at the menu and feel like it's simple but it's was quality food at an impeccable time and the customer service was phenomenal. I would say that this place could really make things shake if they had a bigger spot but less is more! There was an about a 10-15 minute but that's because the food and service is just that good!

Sergio C.

Yelp
Amazing service and Good food tastes fresh and well cooked! yanira was a good server and attended us really good!

Yelp
bay 34th street diner was a very pleasant brunch experience. my wife and i visited on a saturday afternoon and we spent $25 each for a meal and coffee. we were seated to look at the menu and told to order at the front when we were ready. I ordered an iced caramel macchiato and my wife ordered an iced americano, both delicious. the service was great and the interior had really nice vibes. the berry crepe was heavenly and the nutella pancakes were a chocolate lovers delight. will definitely return!

Yelp
The food was AMAZING! Service was really great too! The environment of the place is really nice! I will definitely recommend this place to my friends and family! Thank you to Miss Maria for being so nice and friendly to me and my friend!

Yelp
First time at this restaurant, GPS took me to the inner corner of the shopping center, but it's on the edge of the building. There was about a 20 minute wait, and it was pretty true to the wait time. Once I got my table I didn't realize I had to order in the front. I eventually ordered my Philly Cheesesteak and it was SUPER good. It was hot and flavorful. The service was excellent. I was asked regularly if everything was good, from just about everyone working. It was very pleasant. One thing I really appreciated was when I asked for a cup for water, they gave me a good size cup for water. Most restaurants give you a 4-8 ounce cup. Definitely would like to go back the next time I am in the Arlington area.

Yelp
My daughter found this new brunch spot in Arlington and we tried it out. We arrived about 1:30pm and the hostess seated within minutes. The restaurant wasn't too crowded, but it was later and close to closing at 3pm. We decided on our food and ordered at the counter. The young lady that took the orders was the SWEETEST! Our food came out very timely and everything was delicious we ordered Berry Crepes, grits, pancakes, beef and turkey bacon and an American omelette. The food was really good and I will be back!

Yelp
My husband and wanted something new so we drove to Arlington and we enjoyed it all. We will recommend it to friends and neighbors.

Yelp
Amazing food and coffee!!! Loved the bananarama and got a caramel macchiato. Highly recommend. cute place inside

Yelp
Food was ok, nothing about it was special. The bad experience here is about extra charges and no coffee service. You have to get up and get your own coffee. I hate this. I go t a place to have good food and coffee while reading the paper. And what's worse is finding the urn empty. So now I must wander around and figure out how to get coffee. To make the experience more distasteful they tack on a service charge.
google avatar

Yelp
The breakfast tastes really great food. The services nice and friendly staffs. The place is clean and cozy

Yelp
My wife and I were out running errands on Saturday morning, it was breakfast time and Bay Street was close by, which I'd been wanting to visit. Upon arriving we weren't sure if there was table service or what. Several, very friendly, employees greeted us and explained about going through the line to order and then our entrees would be brought out to us. We sat down to look over the menu so my wife could go through the line. I'm an amputee and in a wheelchair so it's easier for her to "park" me and take care of the ordering. After looking over the menu, my wife decided on the Berry Crepe breakfast, and I decided on the waffle breakfast with over easy eggs and beef bacon. Shortly after my wife arrived back at our table, our breakfast entrees were delivered to our table. All the employees are SO upbeat and willing to please. They came by the table several times to see if there was anything that we needed. First off, their coffee is fantastic, it was so smooth. They have a coffee station with lots of selections and a barista. My wife loves crepes and Bay Street's crepes were no exception, she cleaned her plate. On to my Belgin Waffle Breakfast. Oh my, the waffle was one of the most incredible Belgin waffles I've ever tasted. It was fluffy and light and cooked to perfection. My eggs were also a perfect over easy. The interior is very inviting, there's lots of great things to look at plus the music was so enjoyable. We'll definitely stop in again when we're in the area. We both really loved the menu especially the lunch offerings. Yummy!

Yelp
I would not recommend the beef bacon. The dishes also lacked seasoning. The chicken had a strange texture.

Yelp
I was going to the Arlington tennis center this morning to watch some matches and decided on a pre match breakfast here. Never have heard of the place but it was a block away so I took a chance. Glad I did Pancakes, just perfect and lots of softened butter to go with the syrup. Bacon very tasty and eggs cooked perfect and a slammin' good cuppa Joe to wash it down. All in all, solid 5* on the diner scale

Yelp
Super cute little vibey NY spot. Love all the art. Delicious food. Decent portions. I would love if it was more or came with sides. AWESOME, I'll say this again... AWESOME staff. Which seems to be hard to find around here. The guy who welcomed us was charming and energetic. The girl that brought us our food was extremely sweet and kind. Also, no worries about the water pressure in the bathroom if that's something you're concerned about lol.

Yelp
Bay 34th Street Diner is located within a shopping center with plenty of parking spaces. It's located across from Medical City Arlington, so I imagine it's walkable from there if you're visiting someone etc. I have seen this place several times and am glad I finally checked it out for lunch. The staff here are super friendly and helpful. There is art and paintings all over the walls and their music choice was oldies but goodies. When you first walk in, there is a sign asking you to wait to be seated. There are menus on the table, but you walk up to the counter to order and pay. There is a self serving drink area. Your order is brought to your table. The portion sizes are huge! I got the classic burger and it was delicious. The fries are crispy and well seasoned. I will definitely need to come back and try their breakfast items!
google avatar

Gabrielle D.

Yelp
We had brunch for the first time here and it was such a cool vibe. The music alone, kept me moving in my seat. It is a smaller establishment and the staff is so sweet. I had the chicken and waffles, which were pretty good
google avatar

Karen D.

Yelp
Great food, great service, great vibe. We went for lunch at everything was super, hugo spritz, a special cocktail for our birthday girl and the service was fantastic. Wish I lived closer

Yelp
This is the best restaurant in Arlington. The food and the service are second to none. For that reason, this is only restaurant, we eat at. Thanks to the owner and staff for your commitment, dedication to being exceptional. #Customers for life

Fabiola B.

Yelp
Restaurant was small but accommodating. The food and drinks were amazing. Definitely returning.

Yelp
Food and service was great as usual. I always go early morning on a weekday. Give it a try, it's worth it.

Yelp
Super delicious, friendly staff, culturally relevant with decor and foods. Vegan options, coffee is so yummy! The food was really yummy, attention to preparedness and delivery. Our sever was Miracle and she was very sweet and helpful! No pics this go round, we were too hungry!! Next time!

Elisabeth M.

Yelp
Great service all staff kind and attentive, ordered at register food within 15 min after ordered fresh well seasoned food great atmosphere nice place to have brunch with family and friends.! Will defensively be back.!

Yelp
Unfortunately we don't have any pretty pictures of our food to post with our review because the plates were so beautiful and the omelets were so delicious we gobbled everything down! Groovy vibes here at Bay 34th Street Diner too. If we could give a 4 1/2 stars we would have because of our one critique, we wish they didn't use plastic glasses and silverware for dine-in customers. We're environmentalists and try to avoid single use plastics.

Sophia B.

Yelp
Took my family there and we loved it all. Service and food were wonderful. My youngest is already asking if we can have it tomorrow!
google avatar

Alexis P.

Yelp
Cute little diner! I thought it was a sit down and order vibe but you order at the counter and they bring you your food!! Staff were very nice and seemed passionate. Food was delicious and great size portions!
google avatar

D'Landria F.

Yelp
I was in the mood for breakfast before an early afternoon Wings game. This place was just what I was looking for. There's a mural of the wall that gives NY meets pop culture. There was a nice amount of menu options including non pork meat selections. I've never seen beef bacon on any other breakfast menu. The staff were great too...very helpful and attentive. You order at the counter and your food is brought to your table. The food was fresh, hot and tasted great! I was allowed to sub pineapple pancakes for the original ones without an up charge. They were fluffy and flavorful. I will definitely visit again when in the area!

Janet H.

Yelp
A friend and I met at this restaurant for the first time. We were both quite impressed with how good the food was. I had the Tex Mex Bowl with a side of potatoes and guacamole. It was prepared perfectly, and was delicious and very, very filling. The staff were very personable and welcoming. I do plan to visit again.
google avatar

Christie M.

Yelp
I have only visited this restaurant when I have the urge for breakfast so I cannot comment on the rest of the menu but it looked good and the restaurant was crowded - always a good sign. Very friendly staff that welcome you once you walk in the door. My order was to go but I saw dine in customers being sat immediately and it was 11:20 on a Saturday morning. I order my omelette and walked to another business to make a purchase. My order was ready upon my return approximately 10 mins later. Food excellent and seasoned well. Healthy omelette ham added- perfect amount of each ingredient. This is only a serving of the omelette and not the whole serving. The home style potatoes were well cooked with a mix of char and softness.

Adree M.

Yelp
Service was excellent! Everyone was so nice and it was easy so easy to get in! The food was amazingly delicious! We had the Waffle House and hell's chicken quesadillas... they were perfect! 10/10!
