Ordered chicken and waffles. I felt that the dish was a bit bland for me, especially the chicken; too bland and not very much seasoning. I thought adding syrup and hot sauce would help but the dish was still bland for me. Not my favorite; atmosphere was nice and staff was friendly I felt that the dish wasn’t a great representation of the restaurant as I’ve been here before about 2 years ago and it was much better then. I’m willing to return and try again or maybe a different dish.

Google
This place was packed—and for good reason! The food was absolutely delicious, and the customer service was top-notch. I had the burrito, and the sauce had just the right amount of kick. The waffles were the perfect finishing touch—crispy, fluffy, and full of flavor. I’ll definitely be coming back. If you haven’t tried this spot yet, you’re missing out!

Google
The food was incredible. I will say I love iced mocha’s which wasn’t on the menu, they were able to add dark chocolate to an iced coffee, and I personally didn’t like it. But I loved everything else. It’s a super cute place, plenty of parking. I entered the wrong way but was still seated. But someone took my spot when I went to order. Guess that’s on me. But I definitely wanna come back and try more of the menu!

Google
Great experience here! It’s not a very big place which is great because the kitchen can keep up with a full house. When we got there we waited about 10-15 minutes for a table. The lady behind the register taking the order was very friendly! Our order didn’t take long to come out, very quick service! We ordered the chicken and waffles, the burrito, a side of fries, a side of ranch an iced caramel macchiato, and apple juice and it was all very delicious. 10/10 recommended!!!

Google
Just found this place and will definitely come back! My friend and I got the Waffle House and the Berry Crepe as well as 2 Iced Caramel Macchiatos and everything was DELICIOUS! The waffle was so perfectly cooked, fluffy and soft to cut. The drinks were sweet but not too much. The staff is all very friendly, especially Miracle who made sure to check on us often. Very happy overall!

Google
Staff were very friendly. The food was good. My husband had biscuits and gravy. He said the flavor was great. I had the French toast and it was delicious! Definitely recommend trying them if you go. I really enjoyed their dirty chai. The atmosphere is laidback and comfortable for brunch.

Google
This place has a welcoming, family-owned feel with incredibly friendly and smiling staff. Despite being busy, they were impressively efficient—orders go straight to the grill as you place them, ensuring a quick turnaround. We loved the beef and turkey options (no pork), making it a great spot for a variety of preferences. The greeter was beyond helpful, and the service overall was top-notch. The food was absolutely delicious, and the vibe was amazing! My only complaint? I burned my tongue on the coffee—proof that it was fresh and hot! We’ll definitely be returning!

Google
I have passed this place so many times but it wasn't until I failed at having brunch at breakfast Brothers up the street that I decided to give Bay 34th a try. We walked right in and sat down, there was no wait. However you do have to go to the counter to place your order. I got the healthy omelette in Orange juice. And ended up ordering a side of pancakes. They mistakenly charge my card twice but it still doesn't beat the great experience I had here. The dirty chai was my absolute favorite and beats any surrounding coffee shop in my opinion

Yelp
We had such a great time here, we were celebrating our 10th anniversary by meeting with a couple of friends for brunch here while were in the area for the Stray Kids concert! Please be aware, when you get seated, then you can go order your food, that was something I should have noticed or noted, but no biggie, someone came to our table and quickly told us how it works :) Everything was so delicious. Special mention to the staff, as they noticed my little one and offered to make a smile with whipped cream on her pancake, she was in awe and the smile on her face thanks to the kindness of the staff, it is something I will always remember!

Yelp
5/5 The food is great. The food came out quick and the service was amazing . No compliments.

Yelp
We kicked things off with a hot Caramel Macchiato that tasted like a warm hug from a dessert wizard. The Dirty Chai? A little less magic, more like a caffeine-fueled identity crisis. Then came the Cajun Omelette--holy hot sauce, that thing slapped harder than Monday morning! Smoky, spicy, and possibly made by a Louisiana grandma with superpowers. My wife had the BANANARAMA Crepes, and let's just say I went from "not a crepe guy" to "is it acceptable to lick the plate in public?" 10/10 would return--with a bib and fewer manners.

Yelp
I just want to say that this small breakfast place is amazing. The food was unbelievably good. I enjoyed my omelette. The restaurant itself is very clean and has a small town vibe to it. The service was great and you go up in order and then pick up your food. Would highly recommend this place.

Yelp
Great service all staff kind and attentive, ordered at register food within 15 min after ordered fresh well seasoned food great atmosphere nice place to have brunch with family and friends.! Will defensively be back.!

Yelp
SERIOUSLY SO GOOD. Brunch spot located on an unassuming strip with a trendy, clean interior, delicious food, and the best staff ever. I was not expecting much from the Hell's Kitchen Quesadilla ($13.5) but it was unlike anything I have ever had - filling, flavorful, and delicious. It had a chicken-cheese-egg-salsa mixture inside. The" salsa" that came on the side was very watery but overall a stellar dish! BF got the Waffle Works ($13.5) - and loved it. The Vanilla Cappuccino ($6) was huge, sweet, and delicious. The food feels fresh and healthy, the portions are generous, and the prices are unbeatable. The staff are amongst the sweetest, friendliest, and loveliest I have experienced at any spot. Solid 5 Stars!

Yelp
Bay 34th Street Dinner?! Why not! Not only did this place pop up on Yelp but it was also suggested on Googled. This place was solid. Breakfast/brunch that did exactly what it said it would do, fed you. I get that people may look at the menu and feel like it's simple but it's was quality food at an impeccable time and the customer service was phenomenal. I would say that this place could really make things shake if they had a bigger spot but less is more! There was an about a 10-15 minute but that's because the food and service is just that good!

Yelp
Great food! Great presentation as well! Everything looked and was delicious! Service was great, very welcoming and kind. The restaurant was clean.

Yelp
My husband and wanted something new so we drove to Arlington and we enjoyed it all. We will recommend it to friends and neighbors.

Yelp
A friend and I met at this restaurant for the first time. We were both quite impressed with how good the food was. I had the Tex Mex Bowl with a side of potatoes and guacamole. It was prepared perfectly, and was delicious and very, very filling. The staff were very personable and welcoming. I do plan to visit again.

Yelp
From the moment you enter into Bay 34th Street Dinner - you realize that you've found something special. You're greeted by their wonderful staff that embody the homey feeling of this cafe! Lamar is usually up at the front, his personality and kindness will keep you smiling the whole time. The building itself is small but the service and table turn around is quick - you have indoor and patio options. They can handled large groups but it is busy inside so be mindful of how long you nest. You do need to order up at the front and they have a To-Go line as well. Lastly the kitchen - it's clean and truly maneuvers like an old school dinner. They have multiple people in the kitchen and you do not wait long for your food. Everything comes out hot and off the stove! I've been coming here for a while now, it's always my first choice in the mornings. Give this place a shot - they are more than worth your visit :)

Yelp
Food was fresh and service was quick! The grits were perfect - cooked well and not seasoned so you could add what you wanted. The guacamole was a bit heavy on the onions and needed some seasoning but it didn't take away too much from the meal. Philly omelette was a major hit. This restaurant has a homey feel but still has ample seating.

Shona H.

Yelp
Food and service was great as usual. I always go early morning on a weekday. Give it a try, it's worth it.

Yelp
The breakfast tastes really great food. The services nice and friendly staffs. The place is clean and cozy

Yelp
I would not recommend the beef bacon. The dishes also lacked seasoning. The chicken had a strange texture.

Sophia B.

Yelp
Took my family there and we loved it all. Service and food were wonderful. My youngest is already asking if we can have it tomorrow!

Yelp
First time at this restaurant, GPS took me to the inner corner of the shopping center, but it's on the edge of the building. There was about a 20 minute wait, and it was pretty true to the wait time. Once I got my table I didn't realize I had to order in the front. I eventually ordered my Philly Cheesesteak and it was SUPER good. It was hot and flavorful. The service was excellent. I was asked regularly if everything was good, from just about everyone working. It was very pleasant. One thing I really appreciated was when I asked for a cup for water, they gave me a good size cup for water. Most restaurants give you a 4-8 ounce cup. Definitely would like to go back the next time I am in the Arlington area.

Yelp
My daughter found this new brunch spot in Arlington and we tried it out. We arrived about 1:30pm and the hostess seated within minutes. The restaurant wasn't too crowded, but it was later and close to closing at 3pm. We decided on our food and ordered at the counter. The young lady that took the orders was the SWEETEST! Our food came out very timely and everything was delicious we ordered Berry Crepes, grits, pancakes, beef and turkey bacon and an American omelette. The food was really good and I will be back!

Isabella K.

Yelp
The service was great and food came out hot and fast! I was so surprised by the beef bacon, which was delicious btw. We will definitely be back!

Yelp
My wife and I were out running errands on Saturday morning, it was breakfast time and Bay Street was close by, which I'd been wanting to visit. Upon arriving we weren't sure if there was table service or what. Several, very friendly, employees greeted us and explained about going through the line to order and then our entrees would be brought out to us. We sat down to look over the menu so my wife could go through the line. I'm an amputee and in a wheelchair so it's easier for her to "park" me and take care of the ordering. After looking over the menu, my wife decided on the Berry Crepe breakfast, and I decided on the waffle breakfast with over easy eggs and beef bacon. Shortly after my wife arrived back at our table, our breakfast entrees were delivered to our table. All the employees are SO upbeat and willing to please. They came by the table several times to see if there was anything that we needed. First off, their coffee is fantastic, it was so smooth. They have a coffee station with lots of selections and a barista. My wife loves crepes and Bay Street's crepes were no exception, she cleaned her plate. On to my Belgin Waffle Breakfast. Oh my, the waffle was one of the most incredible Belgin waffles I've ever tasted. It was fluffy and light and cooked to perfection. My eggs were also a perfect over easy. The interior is very inviting, there's lots of great things to look at plus the music was so enjoyable. We'll definitely stop in again when we're in the area. We both really loved the menu especially the lunch offerings. Yummy!

Yelp
I was going to the Arlington tennis center this morning to watch some matches and decided on a pre match breakfast here. Never have heard of the place but it was a block away so I took a chance. Glad I did Pancakes, just perfect and lots of softened butter to go with the syrup. Bacon very tasty and eggs cooked perfect and a slammin' good cuppa Joe to wash it down. All in all, solid 5* on the diner scale

Yelp
Super cute little vibey NY spot. Love all the art. Delicious food. Decent portions. I would love if it was more or came with sides. AWESOME, I'll say this again... AWESOME staff. Which seems to be hard to find around here. The guy who welcomed us was charming and energetic. The girl that brought us our food was extremely sweet and kind. Also, no worries about the water pressure in the bathroom if that's something you're concerned about lol.
google avatar

Alexis P.

Yelp
Cute little diner! I thought it was a sit down and order vibe but you order at the counter and they bring you your food!! Staff were very nice and seemed passionate. Food was delicious and great size portions!

Yelp
Bay 34th Street Diner is located within a shopping center with plenty of parking spaces. It's located across from Medical City Arlington, so I imagine it's walkable from there if you're visiting someone etc. I have seen this place several times and am glad I finally checked it out for lunch. The staff here are super friendly and helpful. There is art and paintings all over the walls and their music choice was oldies but goodies. When you first walk in, there is a sign asking you to wait to be seated. There are menus on the table, but you walk up to the counter to order and pay. There is a self serving drink area. Your order is brought to your table. The portion sizes are huge! I got the classic burger and it was delicious. The fries are crispy and well seasoned. I will definitely need to come back and try their breakfast items!
google avatar

Gabrielle D.

Yelp
We had brunch for the first time here and it was such a cool vibe. The music alone, kept me moving in my seat. It is a smaller establishment and the staff is so sweet. I had the chicken and waffles, which were pretty good

Yelp
This is the best restaurant in Arlington. The food and the service are second to none. For that reason, this is only restaurant, we eat at. Thanks to the owner and staff for your commitment, dedication to being exceptional. #Customers for life

Yelp
Super delicious, friendly staff, culturally relevant with decor and foods. Vegan options, coffee is so yummy! The food was really yummy, attention to preparedness and delivery. Our sever was Miracle and she was very sweet and helpful! No pics this go round, we were too hungry!! Next time!
google avatar

Kris H.

Yelp
Unfortunately we don't have any pretty pictures of our food to post with our review because the plates were so beautiful and the omelets were so delicious we gobbled everything down! Groovy vibes here at Bay 34th Street Diner too. If we could give a 4 1/2 stars we would have because of our one critique, we wish they didn't use plastic glasses and silverware for dine-in customers. We're environmentalists and try to avoid single use plastics.

Yelp
pretty solid! i ordered the pineapple pancakes & was pleasantly surprised at how light and perfectly sweet these were. not too overpowering at all! as a coconut lover, i do wish it had more coconut on top, so next time i go i'll ask for extra! do expect a crazy wait when you go on the weekend. i went at 10 am and waited for 30 minutes to be seated. the interior is small, but the murals are cool! due to the small space, i felt like i was constantly in the way of other patrons and staff. my friend and i were sadly placed at a table by the door that would constantly blow the humid heat onto us every time it opened.. hoping next time we aren't by there! nevertheless, i'd still come back next time i'm in the area

Yelp
I was in the mood for breakfast before an early afternoon Wings game. This place was just what I was looking for. There's a mural of the wall that gives NY meets pop culture. There was a nice amount of menu options including non pork meat selections. I've never seen beef bacon on any other breakfast menu. The staff were great too...very helpful and attentive. You order at the counter and your food is brought to your table. The food was fresh, hot and tasted great! I was allowed to sub pineapple pancakes for the original ones without an up charge. They were fluffy and flavorful. I will definitely visit again when in the area!

Matt G.

Yelp
Quick service. Great food. A step up from a traditional diner! Has some outdoor seating.

Yelp
I have only visited this restaurant when I have the urge for breakfast so I cannot comment on the rest of the menu but it looked good and the restaurant was crowded - always a good sign. Very friendly staff that welcome you once you walk in the door. My order was to go but I saw dine in customers being sat immediately and it was 11:20 on a Saturday morning. I order my omelette and walked to another business to make a purchase. My order was ready upon my return approximately 10 mins later. Food excellent and seasoned well. Healthy omelette ham added- perfect amount of each ingredient. This is only a serving of the omelette and not the whole serving. The home style potatoes were well cooked with a mix of char and softness.

Yelp
I was came here for brunch on during the week... I had been wanting to try this place for awhile as it looked cute and I was excited to find somewhere nearby with berry crepes! Walked in and this place has such cute ambiance, PERFECT lowlight lighting with incandescent lightbulbs (IYKYK) and very friendly, attentive staff that are very welcoming! The food even came out super fast! Which is why it saddens me to leave a negative review because I wanted to love this place it has so much potential! Everything about it was so great... and I think it could be great with some changes to the food quality. Here's the bad: the French toast was so tough around the edges that it was like trying to cut a steak. The butter is not real butter... it's margarine and had a weird coagulated texture as seen in the photos. They put artificial strawberry gel on top of the dairy free whipped cream (would've preferred real whipped cream with not red 40 artificial gel. The crepes are not really crepes. Seems the use pancake batter and sores it this but it's is quite thick compared to traditional crepes. The sweet cream in the berry crepes has a gritty texture. And o have never met a crepe I didn't like. The one food item I loved was the beef bacon. Never had it before and it was really good. Other than that, the food was awful. I hope they improve their recipes because this place could be such a gem and I would return again and again based on the ambiance and quality I of service if the food wasn't so terrible. I will come back again in the future but only if they change their ingredients.
google avatar

Yelp
Super cute restaurant right across MCA. We got the holy guac, what the french toast, and two caramel macchiatos. The holy guac was great, simple dish but more flavorful than i thought it was going to be. The french toast was yummy, not as sweet as I thought it was going to be and I liked the texture of the bread. We had to ask them again for our coffees but they came out super quick afterwards and weren't bad either. This meal was in May and the last time I was here was in November and they changed their menu. Still so many options but bring back the brooklyn disco wrap!! Just kidding (kind of). Overall, a solid brunch place though! Food was great quality and quick.
google avatar

Phi V.

Yelp
Important note: place your order at the counter when you dine-in. Otherwise, you'll be sitting at the table with your menu for a long time before realizing. That being said... food is amazingly delicious! We had the Spanish omelette, Waffle House, Nutella cakes, and side of fries. Iced caramel macchiato is flavorful. I can definitely taste the coffee beans that were used.
google avatar

Mar A.

Yelp
Delicious food, clean place, food service, and friendly people! But it's very PRICEY $$$$$ . OVER $100 bill for 3 people's breakfast! I would nor fo again, this is double what I pay at first watch for example, which is the same level!
google avatar

Yelp
Right before my car broke down, I had brunch at Bay 34th Street Diner on a Saturday afternoon. Not the best timing lol but what can you do? After parking in their lot, we walked in this old-school diner and placed our order at the counter. They bring your food out to you. The diner either started in New York or was inspired by NYC diners. They have some cool murals on the walls showing New York. After looking over the menu, I ordered the chicken and waffles which is one of their recommended dishes on Yelp. The meal was filling. The waffles were crisp and served with butter and syrup. The chicken let me down a little bit though. Instead of being chicken wings as I expected, it was a fried chicken cutlet. Not bad or anything, I still enjoyed it, I just love wings. Service was standard.

Yelp
Best american diner I have been to yet! The place is lively, staff is lovely and the menu is well put. Everything seemed so thoughtfully planned and amazingly managed. They have outdoor sitting as well. The food was obviously delicious as well! We had the Chicken Club Burger, Popeyes Crepe, Hells Kitchen Quesadilla and a Caramel Macchiato. They even customized some things according to our dietary restrictions. We relished everything and had a great time!
google avatar

Brooke A.

Yelp
This was so yummy and so much food for a great price! It was also very easy to order and sit down!

Yelp
Holy freaking heck I happened upon this place while on a quick trip to Arlington. GET THE TACOS!! Everything was incredibly flavorful, fresh, and delicious. Service was speedy and the place had a real hometown feel I haven't experienced since leaving my hometown on the east coast. I should have taken a photo but inhaled those tacos way too quickly for that. Thankfully the portions were quite generous.

Patrick H.

Yelp
Food was absolutely fantastic and ambience was a cool New York style café. Staff was friendly. Food arrived very fast. Best breakfast we've had in Texas, especially the pancakes and coffee.
google avatar

DiAndra H.

Yelp
Omg this was by far some of the best breakfast I have had in a long time. It definitely gives home cooked vibes. The staff is amazing, they are so kool and funny, even helped with my photoshoot ha ha. I almost left due to the wait but it was soooo worth it. The art in the build is lovely, it's a nice size location. Stay don't leave and wait out the time you will not be disappointed.

Yelp
So cool inside and great tasting food. A little confusing to order up front and sit. Food came out surprisingly fast. Happy with everything we got. Biscuits and gravy was good. Highly recommend for a good breakfast.

Yelp
The customer service was just as good as the food ! I recommend the pancakes they were light and fluffy. A hidden gem we will be back.

Yelp
I got the cajun omelette 6/10! Nice place to meet. 10/10 The place is Clean & The servers are friendly. 10/10

Yelp
Food was great and service was the same. Best pancakes and my flat white even better than Starbucks. Owner spoke with us and he was so nice. Eat here!
google avatar

Lindsey S.

Yelp
We used to love this place, but it's not the same anymore. Service was poor- the host quoted us a 35 minute wait, even though there were several open tables. Mind you, this is a walk up and order restaurant so seating is literally first come first served. After ordering, we waited in the front about 5 minutes and noticed the tables were still empty. We requested to sit and dine instead to which the host agreed. We sat and she brought the food out in Togo bag without silverware. Weird, didn't we ask to dine in? Anyways, I ordered the salmon egg Benedict only to be further disappointed by the lack of salmon! It was the smallest portion size, so much that I ate half of the Benedict and tasted zero salmon. From there, I had to remove the egg in order to confirm that I had salmon at all. Once small slice on each muffin under a huge egg to hide the lack of meat. For a brunch spot, I definitely expect better. The service sucked, we used to visit because the young male hosts were so nice and accommodating, but We Will never be back. Once you pair bad food with poor service, you don't deserve my time or money.

Laura W.

Yelp
FANTASTIC service, brew, and food!!! What a great place to do breakfast before meetings!!

Yelp
Love this place because I didn't even know but it's apparently halal? Lol. Really busy but quick seating and service.
