There's really not enough words to praise people that saved your life. Every single person was so kind to me through my cancer treatment, and I don't have the words to express my gratitude. They are empathetic and passionate and endlessly patient. This was the scariest thing I've ever been through, but I knew I never had to worry about seeing the doctors or sending emails or getting clarification. The stress that alleviates during a crisis is immeasurable. From the bottom of my heart, thank you.

Professional, prompt and welcoming. Overall, as good an experience as a trip to a doctor' office can be. Dr. Andaya has been my primary care physician for almost eight years, and now my wife's for more than one. Kudos!

Do not go to Baylor, Scott & White unless you want to pay an extra $76 on top of you Dr. Charge just for the right to see your doctor at their facility. This is a scam the Doctor is responsible for paying their rent not the patients. I have NEVER paid so much money for a new patient intake in my life and you should not want to waste your hard earned money either.

Everyone was so caring and nice❤️. I have never had a bad experience while at Baylor Scott & White😊. I have had 3 surgeries at their hospital that went very well. From my primary doctor, Ophthalmologist, Orthopedic, Podiatrist and all the nurses and CSR’s they are all wonderful. Thank u 🙌

Dr. Zakiullah is seriously heavenly sent! She's the best doctor I've ever had! She's so kind and really cares about her patients. She goes above and beyond. I can't thank her enough for everything. If you're looking for an amazing PCP then look no further!

I’ve been going to this location for years (about 3-4.) It was the best decision I’ve made choosing this location with Arti Lal. Her and the staff are all very professional and kind to our kiddos. She has always made sure our questions are answered And is quick to put in requests or med refills. No complaints what so ever. This is the place to go for a excellent pediatrician.

Dr.Ngo is always attentive, fully engaged and genuinely concerned about my well-being. Her staff is great and even though I have moved to Georgetown, I would never consider changing doctors.

Love the quality of doctors and nurses there. The office staff is highly disorganized and shockingly incompetent. Shockingly. Most recent experience was that I was scheduled for a lab the next day after visiting my physician only be told that there are no labs after I arrived. Can happen, sure, a faux pas, no biggie. It happened twice. Same thing the year before. The worst part, no remorse, or any show of consideration for a patients/clients waste of time. Just a dry offer to reschedule for the next day…

I've been to this BSW location a few times, and I've left with mixed feelings each time. I do appreciate that they're quick. You set an appointment online or via their mobile app, finish all the paperwork online before you arrive, and then check in at the front desk the day of. The first time I went, I met with a doctor who was pushing to prescribe medication that I thought I didn't need. I'm not anti-meds, but I don't want to put unnecessary drugs into my body. I prefer a more natural approach, but OTC is okay, too. The second time I went, I learned that the doctor left unexpectedly, and I was assigned an RN. The RN is cool, but I am also pushed to prescribe random stuff to address whatever symptoms I have. Each time I've met with her, I've had to ask for non-prescription alternatives, which she would then tell me what she recommended. I wish she would start first with the non-prescriptions, then work her way to the prescription meds if the non-prescriptions don't work. I've never had a problem with billing, and I've had lab work done at this location, too. The nurse who draws blood is very good, and I felt no pain during that process. Don't expect a world-class service at this clinic, but it does get the job done if you need to see an RN. They can also provide a doctor's note if you need it for your work.

My primary is Shiram Herrera and she has been amazing with my care! I literally feel 100x better since April! I love the lab experience at this location also, there are some other locations who (well that is another review!) I recommend my primary and this location!

I would not recommend going here. They let me wife sit in pain for 4 1/2 hours before administering any type of care. The doctor proceeded to misdiagnose her and not listen to any of our concerns. When we disputed our bill for lack of care they really don't seem to care. Texas healthcare is awful but this is truly the worst

They have horrible service, told me my appointment was on the 10th... I came in and it was on the 11. I drove all the way back the next day. 13 minutes late due to rain and was told instead on the standard 15 minute window, they only did 10. I needed to make a new appointment

Horrible experience. Irresponsible, careless, unprofessional, lacks empathy & does not take urgent document seriously. When I said I was having left sided chest/ Heart pain Dr. Nida Zakiullah didn't even checking my vitals. A pricey office visit and she couldn't even take 1 minute to listen to my heart. Wow, what kind of doctor are you and why are you still practicing. You treat patients horribly and you do not keep your word. Utterly disgusted!

This office is terrible. The staff does not care and takes zero ownership of mistakes. They tell you to be there before the office even opens, don't give you proper instructions before your appt, and will completely waste your time as they bill for more and more appts while you get nowhere. Even with PPO insurance they will play the runaround referral game. 3 or 4 appointments later you will still be trying to get help. I cannot express this enough, go elsewhere. Dr. Andaya and Dr. Yee may be decent doctors, but they don't seem to care about their patients or their well being, which doesn't make for a great experience. Healthcare is about care, not about pumping people through as many times as you can to fill your pockets.

Please save yourself the mental turmoil and go somewhere else if you're seeking any type of mental health evaluation. I would highly discourage anyone from seeking mental health services from Dr.Lal. She is extremely dismissive, did not brief me on the kinds of questions or evaluation I would be having, and continued to point out my "clear anxiety" and point at my shaking leg when I was sitting in front of her (I had no idea my leg was shaking). I already expressed I was NOT seeing her for anxiety and I was being treated for that elsewhere, I've already been diagnosed and there's no need to call me out. I've had two appointments with her and left them both feeling unheard and with no solution. Both occasions actually HARMED my mental health quite a bit, and she provided me noooo help or resources. I understand that working in health services right now is probably extremely difficult. But when people go to professionals about their mental health, I can't understand the complete lack of empathy and dismissiveness. Truly an awful experience I wouldn't wish on anyone.

What an absolute joke of an org. I am COVID +ve and the lady on phone gave me an option to come next week at my nearest BSW location or Thu some 40 miles away. What fucking kind of healthcare is this? Don't you have some sense of emergency. Also she was pretty intent of getting my social security # even though I gave her my employer and Aetna insurance details. Why again?

New to Austin it's difficult to find a new primary care team . My insurance directed me to BSW and. I selected Dr Ngo. I have had several appointments with her and I couldn't be more pleased with her bedside manor and expertise Her staff are great very kind and you can tell they like there job. I also like the portal options for emails and communication they are very prompt getting back to me with any concerns I have. The office is very clean and modern and very easy to get to along with plenty of parking Thank you again for the great care !

Dr Nida was amazing! Very attentive and made the session go smoothly. She is very objective and does not just prescribe medications. I love her wholeness approach. Definitely better than all other doctors I have been to! Efficiency at its peak

After my visit today, I decided I'd help this clinic by revamping their marketing campaign. Their slogan should be: "We know that you're struggling right now. It's a pandemic. Everyone is scared. We're equally miserable. If you come here, we'll act like you're stupid, refuse to treat you, make you cry, loudly discuss your medical history among ourselves to ensure the entire clinic can hear, and be rude and condescending in the process. How will this help you? It won't, but we'll feel better about ourselves for the few minutes we can be smug while we watch you cry, and obviously if you're coming here, you already know we don't care about you and it's all about us!" I took time off work to go get labs done this morning. They refused to do them and were awful. They were also in blatant violation of HIPAA by discussing my issues to each other and me at a volume everyone can hear, and trust me, you could've heard a pin drop in that clinic. STAY FAR AWAY. As for me, I'm SUPER excited that I took off work for nothing this morning only to leave so upset I can hardly function and now have to take off work again tomorrow to get done what they were supposed to do for me today. Save your sanity and your energy, skip this one.

ZERO STARS, STAY AWAY, DO NOT BRING YOUR FAMILY/CHILDREN HERE. I have been here ONCE for a primary care yearly check up in 05-2023. I was billed $756.96 for a yearly visit and standard blood work AFTER insurance (Aetna has already paid $491.55, making the ORIGINAL bill for a yearly visit and blood work $1,248.51) Today is 07-16-23 and I have spent hours trying to get Baylor Scott and White (BSW) to change their unethical billing and fix this, believing originally it was an honest mistake. It has been TWO MONTHS I have spent hours emailing, calling, and explaining to the BSW staff (Suzie, Angelica L, Lisa R, Jesse, Amanda) that I should not be billed for a sick visit as I am not sick, and to please fix this mistake. I have been told by Jesse that the facility is out of network; yet Suzie told me this is not the case, and I have spoken to several folks with my Aetna insurance who said that I am in network for both Dr. Julie Kappler and the facility at large. I have never before been charged such an exorbitant amount for a yearly visit and standard blood work with an in network provider! At this point, I no longer believe it is an "honest mistake." I messaged the doctor on my patient portal several times, and received no response from Dr. Julie Kappler. As originally, I thought it MIGHT be an honest mistake; I let her know she was at risk of losing me as a patient. I received no response from her or her nurse despite messaging the doctor and calling and speaking with Amanda at BSW on 07-07-23 asking for the nurse or doctor who helped me to get back to me as the provider was at risk of losing me as a patient. From reading so many of the 1 star reviews, I CLEARLY I am just ONE of the MANY patients that has been billed incorrectly and unethically for their healthcare visit! This is obscene and highly inappropriate, unethical behavior for anyone, let alone a medical facility to engage in. I will keep you all posted and edit this review if they apologize and waive the fees by Friday 07/21/23. If not, I will be filing a motion with the Consumer Protection Division of the Office of the Attorney General, and I recommend y'all do so if you have also been billed unethically. My insurance is also corporate sponsored and I have a team of attorneys who can research into any other unethical billing this facility has engaged in. Folks go to the doctor believing they are in good hands they can trust. When we are billed unethically and taken advantage of and ignored; this is just unacceptable. This is not a facility engaging in ethical and sound practices, at all. 0 stars.

Dr. Lal's office will bill you incorrectly, refuse to correct their mistake even after calling repeatedly for months, and then send you to collections. It's been so frustrating to not be able to get a real competent person to fix their billing practices and for them to put it on their patients to try and fix their mistakes. Please get some people who know what they are doing. Don't have a patient portal if you only respond to messages which are convenient for you.

This is the worst experience I've ever had with a doctor!! I met with Dr. Nida Zakiullah 20 days ago and still have not gotten the prescription I need so that I won't have migraines every day. She said she would prescribe this medication, then denied me the prescription after 3 weeks of me following up almost daily. Her word means nothing and she is not a doctor you can trust. I've thrown up from a migraine three times, and had a migraine every day over the past month. I've called their number and spoke with someone on the phone to make this happen at least 8 times now. Btw, when you call them you actually get a call center, its like you're calling a 1800 number for a warranty claim. After almost a dozen calls they finally decided my situation was important enough to be tranferred to a nurse. Now, I've got a nurse being super rude to me, and as I mentioned this doctor is refusing to prescribe me the medication she said she would prescribe me. Which was the entire reason I went to see her. Complete nightmare!

Poor check in service. The front desk was very unprofessional speaking about me while I was sitting a few feet away. I wasted time making an appointment driving over here and sitting for an appointment that didn't happen. I apparently wasn't checked in for my appointment after speaking with the front desk and being notified I was checked in, so I had to be inconvenienced with setting up another appointment. For my very first visit, this makes for a greatly unsatisfying experience and I'm not sure I want to come back.

If I could give this place 1/10 of a star I would. My Dr recently moved his practice here. I have been waiting since Wednesday to get my meds. I have called them about 10x & told them what the pharmacy said, but apparently there is no comprehension, nor note-taking abilities. I will not be a part of this quagmire. So long Dr whom I've had for 5 years.

Went in with severe back pain. I have chronic back issues. Paid for an exam but, did not receive one. The only person that touched me was the nurse taking my vitals. Was given Steroids, Muscle relaxers and Tylenol 3. When contacting doctor next day for something a little stronger for 1 or 2 days till the Prednisone kicked in and was told you need to go see an Orthopedic Surgeon. Are you kidding me!! I already know that. I don't have insurance and could barely afford this appointment. Financially I have to treat it as it happens. Doctor did not even offer something different. I am in the health field and know there are different things to try. I feel blown off like sorry your hurting but, there is nothing I can do to help you. What a waste of money. I do understand there is an OpioId crisis but, we are not all drug seekers. Sorry times when doctors are scared to do no harm.

Thank you for refunding everyone who was charged due to a screening for coronavirus and waiving fees for eVisits related to this pandemic. I appreciate that you took action on my previous review.

I was excited to know there is one location nearby but very disappointed when I was told they are not accepting any new patients with Medicaids but only established family patients!!! What a stupid policy!

Love the new location. We have seen Dr. Lal for three years now and I am always surprised at how attentive she is with my daughter. I loathe the large system on getting things like medical records, but it is balanced with having several locations to go to, in the event of an emergency, that have full access to my daughter's history.
