Bayou City Art Festival

lol we’re new to the Houston area (previously NoVa/DC area) and walked with our baby to check it out. We got to the gate area only to discover they make you purchase tickets to go around and shop at various vendors?? Maybe there’s a bunch of “free experiences” too but we’ll never know. Appears way overpriced. $22.50 per adult and $6 something for kids 6-12. 🤯

After buying a ticket they want $12 per person to park. So a family trip costs $50 parking plus $100 admission. What a scam

I've been going as a patron to the downtown and Memorial Park festivals almost every year for almost 10 years. I look forward to it every year! Fantastic mix of repeat-artists and new, different types of art, and a great way to talk to the artist before purchasing! Logistics of getting there can be difficult if you just "show up," but if you purchase tickets and check out the website in advance, they do a great job of providing info on where to park. Lots of great food trucks, beautiful art, and so many wonderful memories!

It’s a good time and lots of food trucks - just have to pick the right one. The dry Churrasco sandwiches were a miss. The Burger Joint gets the stars ⭐️

Well I won't be going this year. Having to drive to Dalmar Stadium, park and then pay $12 per person to catch a shuttle bus to Memorial Park, and then it's $18 to $20 a ticket, depending on when you buy them. Too much $$ especially if you have kids. Instead I'll check out ArtOber Festival in Galveston the next weekend.

Best festival ever in Houston. The Trade Entertainment hired us to perform on the main stage this month and it was a dream! Their work ethic and kindness allowed us to truly enjoy ourselves and entertain the community! You guys are the best!!!

Best Art Festival Had lots of fun, very entertaining

I spent a wonderful time with my friends at this Festival. If you are into arts you should go check this out. So many talented artists from around the world with great ideas and very amazing work . You can find paintings, photographs, beautiful handmade jewelry, and so much more .
