We stopped in after dinner next door and were instantly welcomed into an intimate, upscale, yet comfortable environment. As the owner of a Mobile bartending and Mixology services company, I was extremely impressed with the drink menu!! The vibes were great, bartender was friendly and doing triple duty as the host and server as well and the live music was on point. Fair value for the drinks. We tried the Perfect Verse and Return to Forever. The smoked wood and notes of maple just YES!

The people here are incredibly kind and warm. The wings were so good. The live music was fantastic. The bathroom is clean. Whole place is a vibe. 10/10 Highly recommend!

Exceptional Service and Elegance at Bayou Lounge for My Live Show Taping Absolutely Amazing!! I recently hosted my event, Rejoice Hour, at Bayou Lounge in West Philadelphia, which also marked the live taping of my show, Joyce Bacon with Limitless Inspiration. From the moment I walked in, I was absolutely stunned by the elegance and thoughtfulness of the setup. The ambiance perfectly encapsulated everything that represents rejoicing and the celebratory spirit of the season. The venue also provided outstanding video and audio setup for my event, which added a professional touch that exceeded my expectations. The live music, drinks, ambiance, and plush seating is everything. An absolute vibe, located right next door to my favorite West Philly restaurant. I will be returning! This is straight up one of the coolest vibes in black Philadelphia. You get such a diverse crowd of people across the diaspora and the food is amazing. Karaoke night brings out some REAL singers but even if you aren’t good, the crowd is still so supportive and fun. I really love this place.

The karaoke on Wednesday starts at 8 PM was fantastic. Patty Jackson hosts it from 6 to 8 PM. it was a very nice weekday evening out with your girls or significant other. The food menu. Was okay to look at, but as I saw other peoples platters coming to them, it looked delicious. I ordered chicken wings and they were pretty gnot sure about the rest of the delicious food coming out.

The Bayou has the BEST wings and I love how they have 25 cent wing nights on Mondays and Tuesdays! The staff is so nice and hardworking. One of my favorite spots in town.

The bayou basically birthed my child. I had their 25 cent wings every Monday and Tuesday leading up to my due date. I was actually in the bar when my water broke and the staff were so friendly and assisted me until my husband could arrive. Can’t wait for my little girl to try their food when she’s older!

Nina is the best!! As soon as you walk in she makes you feel at home! The service is top tier in my opinion. This is a happy hour spot with lots of weekly events! With all the cozy couches It fells just like home! They have a great food and drink menu with great prices. Stop in and have a great time!

What an adorable place! Plush furniture, live music, friendly service, amazing drinks. I'll definitely comeback as this would be a great date night place.

I have been coming here for years, before the new owners took over. The lounge still has the vibe but i wish they would bring back reggae and Beyoncé nights... i love Kareoke Wednesday, but bring back the live bands... but let me get to the person that holds this place together ... NINA !!! She is the best bartender, server, host, manager, all around the most beautiful person and spirit i have ever came across. Even when short staffed she gets it done and always with a smile... you guys need 15 more NINA's.... She's phenomenal!!! Thank you always NINA !!! I hope you guys appreciate her as much as me and my friends do ! Thank you again NINA !!! ** ps happy hour menu could be tweaked a little... the crab fries were a hit !!!

Beautiful decor! This a nice place for chill music lovers. Days when live bands are not available there is music flowing. You can also book private events. The food is supplied by the adjoining restaurant Booker's Restaurant and Bar. With that you should have a great dining experience. The Bayou Jazz Lounge is open Wednesday-Sun 5-11pm. I will check back in after a live band experience. I can't wait as a music lover. The sister restaurant Booker's always have great live entertainment so my expectations are high. Keep in mind this is a busy are in West Philadelphia so parking is at a premium but free!

Food was great. Service was excellent. The ambiance is warm and cozy. Really enjoyed the energy and vibe of this place.

The Bayou, Philadelphia is actually a lovely and lively spot to listen to live music and local bands. It's "Nicely appointed" with living room style seating, my friends and I got on the floor and danced a two step, or two, the band that night got us up an on our feet. I highly recommend the Bayou as a clean, safe and mature venue to " Chillax" and have a cocktail with your girls

A friend of mine recommended that we come to the Bayou for the live music. It's located right next to Booker's so you can't miss it. It has a lovely cozy atmosphere and the waitress was honest and attentive. She recommended the white sangria which was awesome! It's definitely the best sangria I've had. The wings were good. The live band was amazing. I'll definitely visit again.
