The 20 Best Things to Eat at Disneyland Resort in Anaheim | Eater LA

"Mickey pretzels are iconic, but they’re often more cute than satisfying. Instead, go for the park’s stuffed hot pretzels that are much better and bigger (these can easily be shared), a rare good value for Disneyland. The sweet option is a warm cream cheese-stuffed pretzel, but the savory jalapeño cheese-stuffed pretzel is also worth ordering (although, to be honest, not spicy at all). These are also located at the Refreshment Corner on Main Street USA in Disneyland." - Julie Tremaine

All the Best Things to Drink at Disneyland | Eater LA

"There are plenty of places to get a michelada at the parks, but here there’s the option to have it made with beer such as Golden Road Mango Cart wheat beer, Ballast Point Sculpin or Grapefruit Sculpin, or Pacifico." - Caroline Pardilla

Google
I decided to order the Mickey Mouse pretzel for that was one of my must try's for visiting Disneyland. The pretzel was as good as big soft pretzels get and the cheese sauce made it all the better.

Google
We split a cream cheese filled pretzel. It was definitely missing some salt. The margarita was really great. It did get me buzzed for a bit. Would come back for the margarita but not for the pretzel.

Saw everyone at California holding certain beers, and was curious on where to find them. Was able to find the stand and decided to give it a try. They have different types of beer and also a Michelada that I didn’t immediately see on the menu, but they have it. I decided to try the Michelada, but it seemed to be more sour then the places I get this. I would like to also note that I didn’t get a choice of beer, although the next person that ordered after me, the person ringing me up asked them if they were ok with a certain beer that they normally have. I would at least like to have been asked. Just make sure if you were to order this drink, and you have a beer in mind, to let them know.

Google
The Bayside Brews is a nice little stand in Disneyland. Specializing in pretzels and IPA's it has its charm. My wife and I shared the cream cheese filled pretzel and it was delicious although I was missing the big sea salt on top to pair with the sweet cream cheese. I got the Pacifico beer and my wife got the Margarita and they're both incredibly good. Would recommend for a nice snack

Google
Great place to grab a beer and pretzel. This beer stand is typically less busy vs. Other locations in the park. There is a option to order via app so you can avoid standing in line. I noticed the selection of drinks offered at this stand is slightly different than other locations.

Google
My boyfriend and I brought his two teenage sons with us to Disneyland in September, and our weekend started out at Disney CA Adventure. This is where we landed at Bayside Brews about halfway through the day. We each enjoyed a cold, Ace cider ($10 ea.) under the shade of their patio. The patio is all-ages so the boys sat and talked to the girl at the table next to us while we relaxed our feet and minds. The line was long but it moved fast and Ace Cider is delicious so we were happy with the restful break in the hot day!

Google
Such a cool concept! You can mobile order a beer and just go and skip the line and pick it up! Let me tell you, when it is hot, and the line is 15 people deep, the last thing you want to do is wait on line!

Danica

Google
Husband got an IPA, I got a Rose cider and jalapeño cream cheese pretzel. Great spot in the back of the park for a treat.

Yelp
Great place within California Adventures to grab a cold refreshing beer. Super fast service especially if you do mobile ordering. I would come again.
google avatar

Christina N.

Yelp
Mango cart michelada. Enough said. Preorder via the mobile app. Head to the nearby restroom for a quick break. Come back to have your drink ready. The perfect rest stop for the weary and thirsty ;)

Yelp
Brewski! Beer and pretzels you say? Sign me up lol Cream cheese pretzels... I had to. That had my name all over it. But I have to admit it. After waiting in line for 30 minutes for a pretzel, I sure did have high expectations. And the pretzel was just alright. Sure it was good. But was it worth standing in line for 30 minutes? No. Does it live up to the hype? Not really. I don't think I would want another one of these pretzels again. I guess I prefer the traditional ones with regular cheese.
google avatar

Nevaeh G.

Yelp
I stopped by here for a bev and a snack, so I grabbed a lychee margarita and a Mickey pretzel. Overall, the Mickey pretzel with cheese ($1 something more w cheese) was good, I'm glad it was warm when I picked it up from mobile ordering. The lychee margarita was also good but it was mainly ice--like majority ice. So I would not recommend coming here for drinks but if you want a pretzel, maybe.
google avatar

Yelp
I usually get the Michelada here, my favorite is getting the michelada with the peach cider they have available. It is so good and refreshing. We used to get micheladas and beers here every Disney trip, but recently I've noticed the prices have increased which made us get drinks here less frequently.
google avatar

Lisa Y.

Yelp
Mango cart micheladas are it! It's a must have when coming to DCA! Great way to quench your adult thirst while strolling around the beautiful scenery!
google avatar

Jay S.

Yelp
The pretzel was pretty good, but a little overhyped in my opinion. The watermelon margarita was okay, definitely heavy on the watermelon flavor. Service was fast and the location is near a nice place to take a break and relax.

Yelp
Bayside has one of the best IPA's on tap at CAA. Located in the back side are of the Pixar Pier near the Beer Garden area. App orders are the fastest service. Cream Cheese Pretzel - $6.49 - Disneyland has better ones. It was not as good here. IPA - $12 - My go to IPA spot.
google avatar

Yelp
I ordered a pretzel (to hold me over before dinner) using the app (mobile order) so I can conveniently grab food and go. There's 3 of us who used the app with the same pick up window time. The app lets you know when your order is ready after you hit "I'm here and ready to pick up". We all did that. However, my pretzel wasn't ready! How??? There are pretzels just dangling in the case! Some of my friends got pretzels and beer. It doesn't take 30 minutes to grab a pretzel and wrap it in paper! The jalapeño pretzel was ok. To say I was disappointed is an understatement. Standing in line would have been quicker!
google avatar

Martin N.

Yelp
every Disney adventure a must to grab a beer or a mixed drink ! First time coming here! it's cool .... service was OK. They were a little rude. Maybe because they had to wake up a little early. lol
google avatar

Dee M.

Yelp
Went to get a cream cheese pretzel, denied, only a pretzel with cheese today. Ok? Two of them, I guess with 'cheese' sauce. And a michelada and a watermelon margarita. Those were ok. The margarita is very sweet. The michelada was good. Yet another disappointing food place this time. Took too long to get what we ordered.

Yelp
This was a nice little respite in the middle of a 97 degree day with sore feet! Jim G and I picked up a couple bevvies each and must rave about the Ace Pineapple Hard Cider. I usually don't order cider but I'm so glad I did! It was refreshing and had the carbonation of a seltzer. So good and paired perfectly with the jalapeño cheese stuffed pretzel. We grabbed a bench around the back in the shade and enjoyed our refreshments and a bit of sitting. Mobile ordering is convenient, but I'm not sure that it was faster.

Yelp
Gotta love that Disney California has some adult beverages now! After a crazy amount of waiting in lines, we were excited to kick back and relax with some beers and snacks. We used the mobile ordering via the Disney app, which we found throughout the park was super different depending on where you were at. Some places would let you know your order was ready and you'd head straight to the counter at the mobile order area and pick your items up. This place was wildly different in there was a huge line formed for mobile order. Basically, it didn't matter if your order was ready to go or not, you just had to wait in line and give your order number. Disney definitely needs to make this more consistent throughout the park, because the wait here was honestly worse than waiting in the normal line. They also didn't have any trays so you could take your order back to where you were sitting. I had already grabbed a table and my husband texted me to come get up and help him bring the food back. Luckily, our table didn't get taken by the time I got back. Besides that, my husband ordered a couple of beers and I ordered a couple margaritas that were flavored. We also had the ever-popular mickey mouse pretzels with cheese, which were super delicious. My husband said he liked the beers, but one was supposed to a be a pumpkin flavor and it was okay. My margaritas were absolutely delicious and I drank them down fast since it was a hot day in the park.

Yelp
No frills beers! Just what you need when venturing all this way around California Adventure! All the beers you want and nothing you don't. Of course, they come at Disneyland prices but what did you expect? The line can be incredibly long and it's in the sun which can make it an even more of a drag. But grab your beer and chill in the shaded area behind where you'll find loads of seating and you'll be fine.
google avatar

Neen M.

Yelp
Not reviewing for the beer (not much of a beer drinker) but 5 stars for the ONLY place in CA Adventure that has cream cheese pretzels!!! I mean how is this not a staple with more options to get at the park? It's so delicious and can be a sweet breakfast, light lunch of simple snack. One of my all time sweet treats.
google avatar

Robert R.

Yelp
This location is always busy busy busy. Maybe its due to the proximity to mainly kiddy rides? lol They offer a wide range of types of beer. They even make micheladas here (its is premixed and rationed out in the back). They offer mobile order here too - but on a busy day there is also a line to get that. Which is a downer but still shorter than their normal queue. Prices are the same across the park at $12.25 a beer.
google avatar

Yelp
After a half day at California Adventure, the adults needed drinks! We decided to stop by Bayside Brews on Sunday, November 18th around 1:30pm. The line was super long, so it took us about 30 mins to get our beers. I got a Blue Moon: Belgian White, ABV 5.4% ($9) and a Jalapeno Cheese Filled Pretzel ($5.59). The beer was pricey as expected, but the the pretzel was awful! Old and stale tasting. I couldn't even eat half of it. Disappointing as I was starving. And this was the first snack I bought in the park. Long lines and pricey. I know certain spots do mobile ordering, so that may be the route to go. Just stay away from their pretzels. I'd say this is a beer only stop.
google avatar

Claire P.

Yelp
cream cheese filled pretzel: 7.5/10 warm and sweet but the pretzel was not as soft as I was expecting jalapeño cheese filled pretzel: 7/10 needs more jalapeño and had the same consistency as the other pretzel
google avatar

Kayee L.

Yelp
It was fine. Overpriced beer in the happiest place on Earth is what I expected. Glad to down some brew, the weather was nice, and the kids were loud.
google avatar

Trina D.

Yelp
Bayside Brews is located in DCA across from the Paradise Gardens food court area. The best part of not waiting in line for your brews is the Mobile Order pickup via the Disneyland App. I had not realized that you could also order alcohol with the app which I had previously ordered just food. Hallelujah! My friend ordered Micheladas to be picked up and I realized I could order an Ace apple cider too. As we all know, there are no AP discounts on alcohol but the ease and convenience of ordering your drinks via app is just too good to be true. The mobile order line is almost always shorter than the actual line so drink up and enjoy!
google avatar

Nuu S.

Yelp
I'm sad! The Mickey pretzel with cheese was not good! It tasted plain with so much salt. The dough was soggy :(
google avatar

Erin J.

Yelp
One of the best pretzels I've ever had!!! It was a pepperjack stuffed pretzel and I bought the cheddar dipping sauce also. Lots of cheese but oh so good. A bit of spice from the pepperjack mixed with the soft pretzel was perfection. I'd get this again in a heartbeat. Free ice waters here too. Score!
google avatar

Melissa W.

Yelp
Quick no frills stand to get a couple drinks of your liking. I'm not going to complain about price because you are in an amusement park. Just happy that California Adventure sells alcohol along the inner lining of the park!! Good alcohol too!
google avatar

Dennis C.

Yelp
Mobile order tip: they don't make your order until you're physically in line..... order online then stay in line for the fastest results
google avatar

Melissa N.

Yelp
Located near the silly symphony swings the bayside brew has a a few beers on tap, water/sodas and mickey head pretzels. My favorites are their $9 Michiladas. It's a mix of spiced tomato juice blended with Pacifico. They put a lime in the cup and have tajin on the rim. Very tasty
google avatar

Megan N.

Yelp
I love coming here for my micheladas! They are so refreshing on a hot day! The mix is just right! I love that they pack on the tajin on the rim! I always like to get the mickey pretzels too!
google avatar

Robert D.

Yelp
Myself and 3 other people ordered beers at this place and we got our drinks just fine but I noticed that another lady Gaby was shaking her head at us because my wife's phone would not register her face because of her mask and there was a line behind us but an hour later we were still drinking the same beer and Craig and Gaby came up to us saying not to cause drama and we had no idea what the heck was going on but Gaby and Craig did not have any answers for what we were doing wrong. I do not believe Craig had much to do with the situation but Gaby was really just irritated for no dang reason! Horrible
google avatar

Daisy S.

Yelp
With plenty of other options to get brews at the park, please go elsewhere. The employees here, including the manager that happened to be there yesterday, can use a training on customer service. They should not be working at the "happiest place on earth" with their crap attitude and long faces. Sad that you can see & feel their miserable vibes even while wearing the face masks. The employees here suck!

Theresa F.

Yelp
1 star for Lisa from Cypress but 4 stars for the food for the worker named Luis!!! This morning my husband and I decided to try out the jalapeño cheese pretzels from Bayside Brews! The worker at the register, Lisa from Cypress, CA greeted us and took our order. We paid in cash. Of course, since COVID times, she had gloves on when handling our transaction (this is good!) However, she continued to touch her face and hair. To make it worse, she used the same gloves that made contact with our cash and her face, to stick her hand into the pretzel case and grab the furthest pretzels from the opening. At this point she is squeezing our pretzels with her filthy glove hands, and placed them in the bags. I was appalled but didn't want to start a scene. She handed them to me and I immediately header over to the other worker (I think his name was Luis). I explained what had happened he was very understanding and apologetic, and hygienically replaced them for me. Thank you Luis!! Please be cautious when ordering here. Don't hesitate to report it. Stay safe, families! Also...the jalapeño pretzels were pretty yummy!
google avatar

Quisha H.

Yelp
For me the worst place in DCA to get a beer mostly because their offerings aren't as great as the Karl Strauss cart, Cove Bar, or the Wine Trattoria (yes the wine place has better beers!!) if you're into average run of the mill beer like Bud Light and Blue Moon you'll probably be happy here. If you're into more unique beer offerings go to any of the other above mentioned spots. Also the brew selection aside this line is always insanely long and moves very slowly. It's only upside is it's the closest place for a beer when you're grabbing corn dog.
google avatar

Yelp
You know how when you are at Disneyland and they always tell you at the end of the line how long the line will take you to get to the front of the ride and board? they should have that for this vender! This was by far the longest line of all the attractions and it was for beer! While in line we made some friends and even checked the mobile order- which proved to be just as long. I think next time I need a beer I will need to find another attraction to purchase from- or they can re-invent the fast pass for the beer line.
google avatar

Karen C.

Yelp
This place is located at the Paradise Pier in Disney's California Adventure next to the Silly Symphony Swings! It's one of my favorite places to stop by and get a nice cold beer, on tap, and have a pretzel. They have a good selection of beer here. On my last trip here, I noticed that they now have Michelada's available for purchase and they're actually pretty good! You can expect to pay theme park pricing on beer, but it's definitely worth it on a nice hot day! This location also sells non alcoholic drinks such as, fountain drinks, Powerade, and water. You could also purchase a pretzel if you get hungry. They have the Jalapeno Cheese Filled, Cream Cheese fills which is really popular, and the original Mickey Mouse pretzels! It's a great place to try some craft beers which is what keeps us coming back here.
google avatar

Kelsey N.

Yelp
This review is just for the cream cheese filled pretzel. If you're in Disneyland and want to try it, go to the Refreshment Corner! In DCA, Bayside Brews is the only place I know that sells cream cheese pretzels. I'm sure there are other places...I'm going to need to do more hunting around to find out! As for the pretzel, it is so good. It's not salty as you might think. It's more on the sweet side because of the cream cheese that they use. The pretzel also came out hot and crunchy, which made it so much better! They sadly don't take AP discounts :(
google avatar

Lauren E.

Yelp
Selection is very limited, but they tend to have special and seasonal drinks here that are fun. Find the ever coveted and always delicious Jalapeño Cheese-filled Pretzel here. As per typically theme park, expect high prices. Current menu as of the time of this review: Karl Strauss Tower 10 IPA, Sierra Nevada Sidecar Orange IPA, Stella Artois Pale Lager, Blue Moon Belgian White, Pacifico Cerveza Clara, Karl Strauss Seasonal Beer, Ace Hard Cider Seasonal Selection. Ranging $9-$10 at the moment. The Pixar Fest specialty beverages are a pre-mixed Pomegranate Margarita (pretty good!) and Michelada.
google avatar

Ben A.

Yelp
The novelty (and it seems for some, utility) of being able to purchase a cold, frosty beer at the Happiest Place on Earth makes Bayside Brews a popular spot in this corner of California Adventure. In addition to Karl Strauss beers, they serve several other well-known ales and lagers, along with a few other odds and ends like snacks. Many folks seem to like the pretzels. They are good, but I believe a part of their attraction is the fairly reasonable price relative to other Disney eateries. For around ten bucks, your 21+ year old self can delight in a cold beer and a sweet cream cheese-filled pretzel. Try doing that at the Angels game a few miles away. Interestingly, the conspicuous Karl Strauss beer truck seems to be more crowded and better-known... Hardly a line over on this side of the park, which may also be due to the KS truck being in the midst of the food court/wharf area. If you're meandering about in the heat, somewhere between Goofy's Flying School and the miscreant, brain cell-destroying soundtrack of Ariel's Undersea (Mis)Adventure... And you gotta' fever for a cold adult beverage in a place decidedly designed for the kids... Bayside Brews has the amber elixir to slake your thirst. Only seven more hours until the park closes, dad... And I'm sure you DVR'ed the Colts game, right?

Yelp
Chinese New Year celebration at California Adventure park. Ordered Tsing Tao beer, ginger milk tea, bbq pork bun and almond cookie. Tsing Tao beer ($6.75): not sure if they usually have this here but basically it's Chinese beer. Ginger milk tea ($3.69): the tea was not strong enough but it was kinda good with a hint of ginger. BBQ pork bun ($4.99 each or $8.99 for two): super expensive small bun for $5.00. I can get 3 buns for less than $5.00 at dim sum places. The bun was okay but maybe because I was starving. It's also weird how it's served with sweet chili sauce instead of regular chili sauce. The bbq pork itself was already sweet.. Almond cookies ($3.69): not your typical almond cookie from the supermarket. They were more like American cookie with almond extract and they were big and chewy. I kinda like how they use Chinese take-out box for the packaging. Funny how the pricing is different at California Adventure during Chinese New Year celebration. The bbq pork bun is $5.25 and almond cookies are $4.00 if you buy them from the cart vendor instead of Bayside Brews. They are only 30 seconds walk from each other and you get the exact same things. QUICK TIP: NO ANNUAL PASS DISCOUNT FOR ALCOHOL. 3.5 stats!! Bayside Brews is kinda yummylicious!!
google avatar

Yelp
Disneyland does not sell alcohol, Disney California Adventure does.! Bayside Brews is in Disney California Adventure Park with a simple menu: cold brew, soda, water, chips & pretzels. You will find BB next to Silly Symphony Swings and Corn Dog Castle on Paradise Pier. As of November 2011, the beers on tap: Sierra Nevada-Pale Ale=$7.00 Karl Strauss-Seasonal=$7.00 Sierra Nevada-Torpedo IPA=$7.00 Blue Moon-Belgian White=$7.00 Pacifico-Cerveza=$6.75 Bud-Light-Pale Lager=$5.75 Cheers!
google avatar

Steve F.

Yelp
I was shocked to see that beer and wine was being sold in Disney California Adventure... according to the friendly folks at Bayside Brews, DCA was originally designed for older folks, and as such has a liquor license throughout the park (Club 33 in Disneyland is the only place that serves alcohol there... and it's only limited to that particular club). So, when I got my beer, I had to ask, "I can walk around with this?" And yes, you can... just as long as you stay within DCA's confines. Automatic 5-star! Granted, the beer selection can be better (though they have Blue Moon - yes!), and it's $7 a cup... but it's beer in Disneyland! Bottoms up!
google avatar

Dominic B.

Yelp
Made a trip to Bayside Brews last weekend and seeing that it was gonna be a hot day, we decided to kick off our day with some beers before hitting up some rides. The great thing about Bayside Brews is that it is really just geared towards beers, so there is no real hold up as far as people waiting to get fancy drinks or food made. There are some snacks like pretzels if you are looking to get some quick food though. The selection of beer is decent with the usuals including some craft beer from Karl Strauss. The Pixarfest promo did offer a Pomegranate margarita which I did not try. What I did try was the michelada which is made with Pacifico Beer and it was okay for me. However, I though the michelada at Lamplight Lounge was better since they used Modelo instead and it was the same price ($9.00). But if you're looking for a quick beer in the Pixar area, this would probably be your go-to.

Yelp
This is the place to pick up a beer to accompany your corn dog from Corn Dog Castle (http://www.yelp.com/biz/corn-dog-castle-anaheim-3?hrid=iwNrqLAafjPNnsTbHLaPeA). Then grab a seat with a view under the Silly Symphony Swings (http://www.yelp.com/biz/silly-symphony-swings-anaheim?hrid=WIzq6kqS19TzhFNGqDJ9sw) to enjoy your eats and drinks. They have a nice selection of beers and wines, including Sierra Nevada Torpedo IPA and Blue Moon.
google avatar

D D.

Yelp
Great to get a cheese filled jalapeño pretzel and a cold beer. No micro brew here but they have the standard Blue Moon, Bud Light, Wine and Sangria. There is a seating area across from the stand where you can enjoy your beer or some benches behind it that look out on the "bay".
google avatar

Francis R.

Yelp
Literally, a stones throw away from Corn Dogs Castle. Mmmmm beer and corn dogs. :) I don't think I've ever seen a line here. If I recall correctly, they had a couple of the Karl Strauss beers on tap in addition to Blue Moon, Sierra Nevada, and Bud Light. They also offer pretzels to go along with that nice ice cold beer. So make sure you stop by to grab a cold one and be on your happy way to your next attraction in California Adventure. Til next time, cheers!

Yelp
I usually don't take the time to write a bad review because I generally don't feel the need to but yesterday I experienced the worst customer service from Megan B around 6:30 on 8.28.2021. It was my birthday weekend and my boyfriend and I went to get Micheladas from here because they're my favorite. She automatically ignored me and asked my boyfriend but I was paying and I wanted to splurge for my birthday so I asked her if we could get two micheladas. From the get-go, she just looked at me as if I was the most annoying person ever which I ignored because who knows I'm a server and I've had long days too anyways I also asked for the jalapeno cheddar pretzel and I believe she misheard me because she kept telling me there were no sides of jalapeno cheddar in the snarkiest way until another nicer girl tried telling me the same thing but less aggressive. We went around in circles until my boyfriend had to tell her to stop and read off the name of the item word for word for her to understand. I feel this is a tad ridiculous with all the money you spend for passes and just for someone to make you feel ashamed to order. I'm usually the shy person who does not want to order and let my boyfriend order for us but I was just so excited it's been almost 3 years since I've been here and also one of the first times we went out during the pandemic.
google avatar

Max G.

Yelp
Whatever you do, don't rely on mobile order. Awful system, wait ends up being longer than regular line
google avatar

Chad C.

Yelp
This place is hidden and not to busy most of the time. My wife and I always come here for a drink when we are in the park. Ill have an IPA or a lighter beer if its hot. She always gets the sangria and loves it!
google avatar

Javier J.

Yelp
You don't get too crazy in terms of craft beers here. They have the standard set up of Sierra Nevada and your basic Shocktops offered up, but at around $8 a plastic cup, you're essentially paying what you would at most clubs anyway. Is it worth the cost to walk around Paradise Pier with a cold beer in your hand? Yeah, I think that it fits in line perfectly with it. I stick to the Sierra Nevada Torpedo, it's probably as microbrewed craft beer as you'll get inside the Disney theme parks. Sure Karl Struass is over yonder, but I really dig the taste of the Torpedo over anything else offered. Service is quick and there hasn't ever been a time when I've wanted a beer here and there was a line past one person in front of me. So that should tell you that the service is quick enough that they can handle the demand.. or maybe it's just that this side of the pier is a bit of a ghost town and/or most people don't have much of a drinking problem that they actually need a beer while at the park.... Oh well.
google avatar

Camille B.

Yelp
Alright. So this is a beer and wine stand on the pier that serves plastic cups, therefore you are allowed to walk around the park with it. This is a spectacular thing. You are allowed 2 per person, much like a baseball park. They also serve snacks, like pretzels. For beer they serve bud light, Sierra Nevada, and blue moon plus a few others. For wine they offer a few in each type. I love them because they serve Bogle chardonnay. Yes. The only downside is there can be a pretty long line, it's an awkward line up area, and it's usually in the sun. Other than that, it gets the job done.
