This a casual Gastropub near the bay that can get crowded and busy at times. Seating at the bar can get tight. Service is good and the staff are always friendly, so if they're busy they're not ignoring you, they really care here. They have outside seating for pets. Great rotating assortment on tap. Great place for breakfast or brunch. Plenty of appetizers and menu entrees that are great here, several are shareable and portions are large. It's a well thought out menu of American fare that exceeds expectations and has something for everyone!
Recommend: The General Tso's Cauliflower is a great appetizer ... and the mini corn dogs ... and the pretzel bites ... and the Truffle fries ... all with a cold beer ... (so much is good here, sorry) It's all good but definitely try the General Tso's Cauliflower!
I had the Loco Moco, since I've tried all the burgers and liked many other entrees on the menu. The Loco Moco is a half-pound of crumbled beef patties mixed with brown gravy and diced onions on top of garlic fried rice, topped with two eggs sunny-side up and garnished with fresh chopped green onions. It's definitely not Hawaiian style, but it's really delicious and satisfying regardless. I regret changing to white rice instead of the garlic fried rice ... I think they know what they're doing. Upon seeing the dish I thought there wasn't enough gravy, but it was just the right amount, order more gravy if you want it smothered. I'm also glad they carry Tabasco since this is a must on my Loco Moco. Overall Bayside Landing is a solid keeper on places near the beach and bay to get a beer and some great food!
