"Think of it the Bayview Growers Market as office hours or an open studio but for local community gardens: Starting August 4th (and lasting every Saturday through November 17), the Bayview Growers Market invites the community to tour eight gardens including the Florence Fang Asian Community Garden, the Abundance Community Garden, and the Willie Mays Boys & Girls Club Edible Garden, where guests can check out produce like strawberries, bok choy, and Chinese chives." - Caleb Pershan

Google
Fun island farmers market, although I do prefer the old location of it being in what is now the parking lot. The reason I give it 4 stars is because it didn’t really have a wide variety of things, and nothing really stood out to me. It was in a unshaded, dry grass spot right next to a semi loud highway. But I do love local cute farmers markets like this so its hard for me to rate it less then 5. Definitely would come back.

I love the selection here! Over 50 vendors selling all different types of things, plus live music by local musicians.

The freshest greens and vegetables I have ever seen in a farmer’s market. It reflects the awesome weather of Whidbey Island where everything seems to want to grow. Be it the vegetables , greens or flowers! The pricing was extremely reasonable.

Google
Organic vegetables and crafts for sale all grown and made by local artists. Very friendly vendors. If you go on Sunday, check out the crowd of solo dancers dancing in a field just down Bayview road. Live band!

This is a very sweet little farmers market. They have a variety of food and craft selections and the people seem nice. It is a nice place to spend time on during a Saturday.

Google
Worth spending sometime there. Lots of options to buy local produce. Lots of parking available. During COVID, there is a small line because they have to limit how many people can be at the market at the same time.

local vendors with many varieties. Fresh veggies are a highlight. I have tried a few days, my favorite is salad green from Foxtile. Best flavor, a bit spicy and very fresh. They harvest the day before and they last a week.

Fun variety of booths and I'll have to try the iced Chai latte next time I go.

Yelp
Nice Farmer's market that offers a variety of fresh fruits and vegetables along with having food stalls. It's not huge and gets crowded but it's a fun little trip if you in the area. There is also bread and pastries/pies for sale.

Yelp
I do love farmers markets, its a great way to support local & Small businesses. Bayviews Farmer's Market is located in the grass area, lots of vegetables, pastries, seafood, meats, honey, spices, pottery, art, fresh foods and much more. Free WiFi throughout the area, laid back scene and smells of foods.

Yelp
A favorite of locals and island visitors who come to soak up the atmosphere, buy local produce, bread and flowers, have lunch, and peruse the arts and crafts. Open from late April thru the end of October. While I wasn't particularly impressed with the ratio of produce to art and crafts over the past few years, 2009 has brought an explosion of local, organic (or close to organic) farmers to the market, which is a great improvement! The 2010 season is looking good too!

Yelp
Small but lovely. We lucked out on coming on a gorgeous Saturday afternoon with a local. Maybe half of the vendors were fruit / veggies / plants, the other half were crafts (soaps, lotions, scarves, cards, pottery). A handful of food trucks and tables sold sandwiches and craft kombucha tea. I would have liked to try Julia's Lumpia Hut (I'm Filipina!) but I knew we'd be having lunch somewhere else, so I held off. The key to any successful food vendor is giving away samples, and plenty were to be had. Because of the samples, I bought some extravagantly priced local cheese. I also supported the local fundraiser for beach access by paying $20 for a beautiful handmade Japanese glass float ball.

Yelp
The overall Bayview Farmer's Market is an enjoyable Saturday morning experience between May and October. The fresh pies (usually located in the corner of the Market) are tasty, homemade, and surely made with lots of care. However, they are small in size, half the size my Mother's homemade pies were, and dramatically overpriced at $22 each (last year they were $18). Obviously, these pies are sold as a business. The seller doesn't accept anything but cash and is a little too "proud" of her product. The product just doesn't warrant the price! We won't buy again.

Yelp
First time visit to this market on Saturday. OH MY !! The very BEST farmers market I have been to in years. And, I love farmers markets, I haven't been going to them much in the past few years because we don't have a really good one close to home that I have found. This one had everything, from the live band as soon as you near the entrance, food booths, homemade goodies of all kinds. oh the BAKERY that was there, fantastic ! And the locally made cheese's were delicous. Lot's of fresh fruits & veggies, straight from the farm. homemade cranberry marmalade we bought to make turkey sandwich's. Most of the food vendors will give you a taste, to see if you want to buy there product. And it was not super crowded, and note a huge space. Just right, so I didn't get overwhelmed with all the choices. We will definitely go back first chance we get !

Yelp
This is a great place to spend an hour or so on a Saturday. Eat a little here, meet some nice people, and grab some ingredients for later.

Yelp
The market has moved indoors to the Bayview Nursery for November, then will relocate at the Bayview Hall, as it has done for years, during December.
