Firstly, you should ABSOLUTELY come check this place out. Good space, great vibes, fun drinks, and excellent food. My family and I were greeted and seated promptly upon our arrival. I had the delicious and decadent Oreo french toast deluxe that was just so fluffy with fresh blueberries and strawberries, which I paired with their Hawaiian mimosa that was as refreshing as it was tasty. My sister found her burger juicy and perfectly seasoned. I sampled some of my mother’s flavorful jerk shrimp and grits. Observing my brother’s empty plates I can safely assume he found his omelette and grits more than satisfactory and my father enjoyed the perfectly crispy texture of his whiting. All in all this cozy eatery is a must.

On POINT! The host was welcoming and sat us immediately upon arrival. The food was amazing and very reasonably priced! The drink….whew! I had the Xamayca Kiss & my husband had the Sweet Yack. At first sip, I was hooked! The music was appropriate and enjoyable. We sang along the wholeeee time. Our waitress, Lee, was so sweet and informative about the menu and happenings at Bayview Kitchen. Moreover, we didn’t have to ask for ANYTHING. Ketchup, hotsauce, syrup, utensils, & extra plates were already brought out before our meals hit the table. At the end- wet naps and toothpicks for two. 10/10 highly recommend.

Upon arrival, I was greeted at the door! No need to wait. This warm let the sun shine in, modern meets industrial full view bar. Open with wall hanging tv screens that says—all are welcome! The male hostess was giving me, this is your place too! What do you want to listen to before your food comes out? You decide, I said. I am taking in the moment. The atmosphere felt like going to a close friend or family member’s place and they wanted to make sure you are comfortable. As I watched them bring food to a couple sitting near the window, I thought to myself, I should have ordered that!🤩 I really wish I had time to stay and finish listening to “Gots to be real!” 🎶 but out comes my food. I really appreciated how my food was presented before my hostess closed it up. 👍 5 stars, for this place checked all the boxes. I recommend Bayview Kitchen in Amityville New York. Very clean, good seating, and entertainment while eating or takeout. Most importantly, the food was so delicious! Please don’t drive by. Stop in like I did, where you are already welcomed and immediately served with a menu! 💜

The food is always so good and fresh, I just wish they would stop modifying their menu! It was perfect before and they got rid of THE DISH THAT PUT THEM ON THE MAP calypso fries! The menu online doesn’t reflect that by the way! All the sandwiches are on a separate menu that you can only order from at certain times (brunch) so I had no other choice but to order breakfast, definitely disappointed last time i went here. The DJ they added is amazing and I am not knocking his hustle at all, but this restaurant is small. With all the loud music, you can’t even hear yourself think at the table. I’m not sure what management was thinking, but they’re ruining a good thing for sure.

My wife and I decided to go here for breakfast after an appointment we had ended a lot earlier than expected. It has been years since I last came here, but my wife never did. Regardless, their current menu is new to me so I guess it was new to both of us. My wife got the french toast deluxe and I got the chicken and waffles. We both enjoyed our food. My chicken was juicy with a crispy batter and it was seasoned well. Paired with the spicy syrup and it was just great. Coffee was good too. Service was great too. Very attentive and friendly. Then the music was just icing on the cake. I don’t know the last time I heard Chaka Khan or Erykah Badu in a restaurant, but I enjoyed the food so much more because of the great music and vibes.

Took forever to even get offered a drink (24 minutes!). Complimentary water came 2 minutes after my Sprite arrived (31 minutes). Maybe because I was solo. A 4-top after me got better service.

Yelp
I saw this restaurant on other yelpers (friend's) activities. I was very eager to try it out. I knew the precise day that I would be in the area, so I made it a priority to come in and making it a preferred choice over all of the other restaurants. I walked in expecting this to be a larger venue, but it was modest enough to enjoy and not be neglected of service. The music was tender and can put you in the mood as they played Jill Scott, Donell Jones and several other artists. The aesthetics are well appreciated. The attractive decor consisted of paintings on the walls as well as colors representing other countries and nationalities. The attire is a workplace dress code that strikes a balance between formal business attire and more relaxed everyday clothes. My expectations were very high caused by the pictures on Yelp! I was very disappointed of my own accord because I came with someone that was allergic to seafood. I wanted to have the shrimp and grits, instead I ordered the Omelette deluxe and turkey sausage with grits on the side. I ordered an ordinary mimosa but could not consume the 16oz container because they were not stingy with the alcohol and I had to drive sober. Although the home fries weren't bad, they were crunchy and not too salty but my go to is cut potatoes with peppers and onions. One slice of whole wheat toast is a brilliant suggestion. My companion ordered French Toast with bacon which she enjoyed very much and compared the bacon to a southern style bacon. The staff were cordial, friendly, and attentive. I saw improved interaction from the staff according to what I have read, the young lady was very much appreciated as she presented eye contact and confirmation of orders as she continued to check on us throughout the visit. I did meet Josh the owner and this is a black owned and family operated establishment he is a people's person who thanked us for coming from Queens to support him. Although I had a really good visit, I can see some areas of improvement and that would be when ordering the omelette, I was asked if I wanted peppers, onion, and mushrooms. I wish I had been informed that each added ingredient came with an extra charge. I was a bit perplexed because I always thought it would consist of other ingredients. Also, they swapped the meat on the orders but again I have no complaints. My intentions are to visit again so I can get what I desired most. Josh it was a pleasure meeting you!

Yelp
Shame on me for not coming here sooner. I was here on Saturday and it was excellent. I got the Fried Chicken thigh on Coco bread with Honey Sirraccha. I think it was called the Chicken Sanny. Sooooo good. I also got a Ginger Beer. Delicious but $5? A little pricey for Ginger, sugar and water but hey! I get it. You gotta make money. I had a really hard time deciding what to get but I'll be back to try some of the other items. All of the items everyone else got looked very delicious too and they confirmed it, with the exception of the waffles and pancakes. But who goes to a Jamaican restaurant and orders waffles or pancakes?! I was with a big group and the only thing was that it was really hot and really loud. Our server, Vicky was awesome and patient with our large group. I will be back and highly recommend.

Yelp
I LOVE supporting a black owned business and most of the times i've gone to Bayview Kitchen, they've gotten it right but the last time i went, they did not. That would have been fine/not a big deal except after posting and promoting the food on IG (which the restaurant quickly reposted) i took time write up and privately send the below feedback on March 9th: "Hey guys - i love you guys and have loved you every time ive gotten you, whether uber eats delivered or coming in with a group. Just a bit of quick feedback on today's meal. the service was above and beyond and the presentation of everything was gorgeous! The porridge had too much something in it...maybe nutmeg? And the fried fish was not flavorful. I won't speak on behalf of the rest of my table but wanted to share this privately. Looking forward to returning!" i could see immediately that the message was read (read receipts) but no acknowledgedlment. i gave them a MONTH and followed-up. to that, the response was: "Hi! I'll pass this along to the owners. Thank you!" that was on April 15th: I still havent heard anything more. I won't be back but here's to frustration but still wishing you guys growth and success in the future.

Yelp
I went here for brunch with my son and parents for a spur of the moment brunch plan and boy am I glad we found this place! We walked in to an unassuming space, the parking lot looked industrial almost, but we went in and were greeted by a bunch of friendly faces. We were seated immediately and given menus. I ordered the waffles with jerk shrimp (weird but trust), I got pancakes and eggs for my son, my stepdad got the buffalo wrap, and my mum got an omelette. When I tell you there weren't any crumbs left on any of the plates!!!!!!! The best bite I had was the jerk shrimp - UNBELIEVABLE!!!! And the pancakes were - and I quote "the best I've had in my life" - that's a serious statement from a 70 year old man. The wait staff was SO incredibly sweet to my son, and he absolutely loved chatting with them and playing around! I'm 100% going to come back and try the other items on the menu!

Yelp
Shoutout to Vicky!!! She tried so hard to make sure we had a wonderful experience. The waiters who where supporting were also really great. I came with a very large group, 16 people. We made a reservation and they seated us. They took our orders 4 people at a time and our food came out 4 meals at a time. If it is important to you for everyone in your group to eat the same time don't come here with a large group. They have a DJ for brunch so the atmosphere is loud, fun and livily. I had the fish and waffles. The fish was amazing. The waffle was just okay. The mac and cheese was okay. The drinks were the highlight of the meal. I had the mimosa that had tequila in it and it was really good. I ordered the pitcher size. It was strong and not watered down.

Yelp
Cocktails: 8/10 Food: 8.5/10 Service: 7/10 Keep these ratings in mind for your expectations and you won't be disappointed. To be clear- there was one server that made an effort to be friendly and inviting. The others seem like they'd rather be anywhere but at work.

Yelp
I'll start with the good. The food is absolutely delicious, period! The fish and grits were a 10/10. However, the portion of grits was very small, which left me hungry. My husband ordered the French toast, and it was perfect. Unfortunately we didn't eat until about 45 minutes after being seated. Now, the reason for the three-star rating. I really tried to see the good in this place and exercised a lot of patience, but the service put a damper on the experience. From the moment we walked in, it was clear they were disorganized. There was no hostess, so all three staff members working the floor asked if we had been helped. The 20-minute wait was fine, but once we were seated, service continued to struggle. It took about 15 minutes before we even received menus, and we noticed the same happening to other tables. Our waitress only took drink orders about 25 minutes in, and by that point, we were starving. I understand it was busy, but guests should be able to order food when they're ready. We ordered a pitcher of Marcus Garvey (half iced tea half lemonade) which was definitely a premix and overly sweet. When the drink pitcher arrived, we struggled to pour it because of the fruit and mint blocking the spout. Actually, the waitress tried to pour it first and couldn't but offered us no solution lol!! That's when we realized we didn't have cutlery (we had been seated nearly 30 minutes now) and had to maneuver the contents just to get an effective pour. When we got the cutlery it came on a plate with a single napkin for us to share. These little inconveniences added up. I think they need another server or a hostess, and some staff training. Everyone was very pleasant and seemed to be working hard, but they were all doing the same tasks and repeatedly asking us the same questions.

Yelp
Food is tasty seasoned well. My favorite was the Calypso fries didn't need a protein added was delicious without. I feel like it's hard to find a good pancake on LI and they were definitely good. Service is ok there was only one server but she was attentive and made sure we were well taken care of. I visited for lunch music was playing nice vibes. I will definitely visit again to try more food items.

Yelp
Food and drinks were amazing. The brunch special was priced sooo well. A majority of the group got a grits dish and were very happy with the options. Service as so kind and they even asked to heat up our coffee because they noticed it had gotten cold from sitting. Highly recommend. This is a local staple.

Yelp
This place is actually incredible! The food is SO good. And SO pretty. Literally everyone I went with (5 people) got exceptional dishes. I really can't say enough about how good this was. The waitstaff is also super friendly. Definitely check this place out!!

Yelp
It's a vibe!! First and foremost if you don't have the peppered shrimp you've missed out on an experience. The broth is incredible, first taste is the sweet, then it slowly develops and becomes savory, and finishes with some serious heat. Also the jerk chicken sandwich is another winner. We also liked the island pasta it was a little less aggressive than we expected, and the shrimp scampi was great. The sauce was fantastic. My wife really enjoyed the rastarita it was refreshing and tart. Kids, wife, and I are all happy and full.

Yelp
I did indeed end up going back for my bday for my bday. They were able to accommodate the party of 7 I had. It was definitely a vibe. The food was on point as always. I ended up enjoying the same dish. However, my friends ate the chicken and waffles, the Big Poppa (steak), chicken wings, side of rice and they graced us with a slice of that oh so divine pineapple upside down cake.

Yelp
On Sunday's they have a fixed menu I had the Hawaiian Mimosa, sorrel bbq wings (they didn't make it because they were that good), jerk shrimp and grits, and tres leches. I didn't get a picture of the Hawaiian Mimosa because it was also delicious! It was fruity and tropical. The jerk shrimp and grits were well balanced and creamy with a jerk sauce that was an excellent twist on the dish. The tres leches was a great little finisher. It has a bit of what I think was raspberry sauce. The service was extremely quick and efficient. Everything came out hot and fresh. They were playing a mix of music from the 70's 80's 90's easy listening tunes that really brought the energy up in the space. Everyone was knowledgeable and took their time to explain things on the menu. 5/5!

Dariana B.

Yelp
Arrived and waited half an hour to even be attended too and receive drinks. Proceeded to wait over an hour, and watch all others with DOUBLE our party size eat around us just to be told OVER AN HOUR LATER that "your orders were not put in". While everyone else's orders were put in and received, aside from ours. There was no reason why our food was the ONLY ONE that was messed up, or why it took them over an HOUR to realize their own mistake. Even after they realized their "mistake" all we got was an "do you still want it" as if we would want, or pay for food we waited over an hour for. This is insane, and we will not be returning.

Queens C.

Yelp
Great food, service, and energy...a lovely way to start a weekend. Thanks Vicky and Rena for a wonderful brunch experience.

Yelp
Came in with the family for an early breakfast. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The restaurant with small and bright.Food was delicious. The shrimp and grits were very good and the big papa steak was perfect and the potatoes for crispy. They definitely have a little bit of heat on their food so be aware. Was happy to see that they added short stacks to the menu with some more kid friendly options. they are able to add Oreos or fruity pebbles to the kids pancakes but be aware there is an additional charge. They gave my son a cinnamon whipped cream mixture for the top of his hot chocolate which was delightful they should offer it with pancakes and coffee too.

Yelp
I had a REALLY GREAT Omelette here!. The service was VERY Friendly and attentive! The fare was satisfying and well prepared! The ambiance was relaxed and active with good music to liven the mood and atmosphere. I highly recommend the Bayview Kitchen if you're looking for a friendly, welcoming restaurant with good food and wonderful atmosphere! It's also a reasonable restaurant to bring your kids to especially for a nice sit-down place after church service! ENJOY the BAYVIEW KITCHEN Restaurant!

Yelp
5 stars, good food, great staff, good vibes, was not letdown from other positive reviews. Went with a party of 8 and all of us enjoyed the food, friendly staff/ownership and of course that pineapple upside down cake

Yelp
Food was delicious I us. whattah jerk shrimp wonderfully seasoned. Fried okra app was a unique started and the skirt steak soo tender and perfectly seasoned. Drinks were good too Our server Vicki. Was friendly and informative. Playlist of reggae set the mood. Our only complaint was the music was too loud (in spite of them turning it down a bit)

Jaci G.

Yelp
This restaurant is a great place to dine. Every person who walked through the door was welcomed, every one who left was thanked. Staff is very nice and very friendly. The food was excellent, and the portions were very generous. They have a variety of dishes sure to please every palate. We asked our server for a recommendation, and she said the steak and shrimp with the pasta - it was great! Friendly place, great food, reasonably priced. We will return.

Yelp
I looked for a brunch place to celebrate & spent time with my spiritual parents and found this place with great reviews. As soon as I heard grits, I decided to visit here. Immediately we were seated and the waiter & busboy greeted us. They were attentive and immediately served us or drinks and answered lot of questions for us about the menu. The food is Caribbean fusion and all I can I say WOW! Everything we had was delicious. From the wrap to the classic brunch plate we loved everything. Waffle is crispy and fluffy inside, fried chicken crispy yet juicy, shrimp in Po'Boy fried to perfection and their lemonade (part ice tea) is refreshing and we'll prepared... Not too sour not too sweet. It is a local comfy place that is clean, with Carribean music in the background. Noise level was fine during our brunch. I suspect in the evening this place is happening and can be loud. During the meal, the owners came & greeted us. They wanted to ensure everything was on point. Super friendly and delightful family doing business together. I love supporting local businesses that has high standards. I highly recommend this place and would come back next time I'm near the area!

Yelp
Customer service is amazing! The chef Josh came over to the table, introduced himself and asked about our experience. I had the fried Salmon, rice and peas and plantain. The food was fresh and delicious. Hubby had to he jerk chicken entree with rice and peas. Everything was delicious The establishment was clean, and inviting warm and friendly.

Yelp
What a great experience! The food was amazing.. flavorful and tasty. We were greeted warmly and the service was excellent. We are looking forward to going back when there is live music.

Yelp
Wow! What a great surprise. Was at the local target looking for a brunch spot and came across Bayview. Walked in with some great Carribean music playing. Wasn't too busy for 1145 but that soon changed. Drinks were good but the food was amazing. Seasoning on the breakfast surf and turf was great and the sauce on the shrimp was fantastic. Pleasantly surprised with this spur of the moment decision to try a new place and will 100% be coming back!

Nonya B.

Yelp
Service was nice. The shrimp and grits were delicious! Pancakes fluffy and tasty. A must go to spot for good food and chill vibes.

Yelp
The ambiance was nice and the food was superb. Chef Josh was amazing and visited the table to introduce himself and check if the food was okay. Server S.S. did his best to make everyone feel welcomed and accommodated creating the perfect brunch atmosphere. Come to Bayview for a great vibe and beautiful customer service.

I will say coming from queens to Long Island I wasn't expecting much but this place made me smile food was above expectations and the service by vicki the owners sister was superb! Cost may be a little pricey for location ordered one drink one entree and one side total 45.90 however it was well worth it will return and recommend

Yelp
Great food! Great vibes! Even better service! Nothing too fancy, just 100% quality. Went here for brunch on Sunday with 2 friends just before 3pm. We didn't have reservations but there were a few empty tables when we arrived. We were offered seating at the bar which at first we declined but we were quickly advised the best seating is at the bar by someone outside that turned out to be the owner lol. We eventually decided to sit at the bar and we weren't disappointed. They had a live DJ who was playing a great mix of music. He had us dancing and vibing in our chairs, I even got up and got busy one time lol. Cairo was our server and bartender and he was very friendly and welcoming. He talked us through both the drink and food menus and made some good recommendations. They offer a brunch option which includes a pitcher of mimosa (4 options to choose from) + any entree for $48 (the breakfast surf and turf and big poppa has a $10 up charge). The owner, "jerk chicken Josh, who jerks everything except the people" is definitely a great business man! He chatted up everyone at the bar and was so engaging and transparent about how they run the business. He was proud to let us know that they make EVERYTHING fresh and even gave us a tour of the kitchen to show us there are no microwaves or fridge in the kitchen! The quality was definitely reflected in the food! Drinks: we had the Hawaiian, the blue ocean, and the incredible pitchers. All were good but the incredible was definitely the strongest as it has a mix of Cognac and champagne. The other 2 has a mix of rum and the 4th option has a mix of tequila. You can tell they use rob quality liquor and they have top shelf options if you wanna upgrade whatever is included. Food: we had the chicken and waffles which is served with fresh strawberries and blueberries and a scotch bonnet syrup. Wow! That scotch bonnet syrup was a first and soo good! Just a perfect combination. The chicken was well seasoned inside and out and it wasn't dry. We also had the breakfast surf and turf which comes with home fries, your choice of eggs, bacon (pork or turkey) and shrimp scampi. Everything was perfect but the scampi sauce was the winner for us...soo good! I had the salmon and grits pan seared with garlic butter scampi and pepper jack cheese added. I'm not even a big fan of grits but just the sound of all the sauces and flavors was enough to draw me in and I did NOT regret it! It was sooo good, I wanted more of the sauce. The portion sizes are good, you will definitely be full but not stuffed. Although we were satisfied, the B.L.A.T sounded so good my friend and I decided we had to get it to share. It was HUGE and it came with a side of home fries which we didn't realize. There was a healthy serving of bacon and avocado, which places like to skimp on, but not here. We also had sides of both pork and turkey bacon and Josh said they slice their own turkey bacon. It was definitely nice and thicker than the cardboard stuff they sell packaged lol. The quality is worth every penny which isn't expensive to begin with. Our bill was barely over $200 after taxes. We without a doubt will be back ASAP to try out the dinner menu items and some more drinks.

Yelp
This was my first time here, however my friends had been here before & enjoyed it, so I was looking forward to it. There is parking, the place is small, so a large party of maybe 10 max I would say could come, but anything beyond that I don't really see it happening. They do brunch & they have dinner. We came during brunch & I had the whiting fish with grits & a side of scrambled eggs. I'm not a big grits person, however when done right (with cheese of course because everything is better with cheese lol) it can very enjoyable. I did add cheddar to mine & it was good. The fish was also very good. I believe it was the owner of the brother of owner who waited on us & he was very personable & polite & mentioned to us if we did a pitcher with brunch it would be $48 so that's what myself & two other people in my party did since the meals are roughly around $18-$24. For my pitcher I had the Hawaiian Mimosa which I think having that little twist with it being Hawaiian instead of a regular mimosa, made it better. My friend had gotten a Incredible Hulk & it was also very good. They do have a DJ & my only complaint is, with the size of the location the music didn't need to be as loud as it was because amongst my party talking, it was a little hard to hear each other. Overall my party enjoyed their food, including myself & I'm happy I got to try out this place because I had it book marked as a place I wanna try out. If you're looking for a good brunch rather with friends or your partner, check them out. You won't be disappointed!

Yelp
Amazing food and the grits are THE BEST I EVER HAD!!! Would recommend to anyone, chef T great and service was great very friendly

Yelp
Ordered the "what-a-jerk" shrimp and grits for brunch and lemonade. Pros: it was delivery and the service was prompt. The food was also hot when it arrived. I was very impressed by that. The shrimp was very flavorful. The lemonade was good and fresh and garnished with lemons and mint leaves. Cons: although the shrimp was spicy, it didn't have the flavor profiles one would expect in a "jerk" dish. Also, the the grits were bland and could use a little salt to balance out the cream.

Gina M.

Yelp
1/25/25. My husband and I just finished an amazing lunch at Bayview Kitchen! The seared shrimp and grits, the cado toast, and the calypso fries were so flavorful and delicious...like a party in your mouth! You should all go...you will love it. And Chef Azim and Vicky will make you feel so welcome.

Yelp
Wow where to begin? Walk in greeted by owner and staff. Received drink recommendations, received order and I loved every mouthful of food. Great portions, great vibes, great company will go back soon.

Yelp
This place is amazing. Came here and had the chicken and waffles and I'll honestly say that it was probably the best meal of my life. The chef presented it to us like his masterpiece and I almost didn't want to eat it because it looked so damn good. I live around the corner so I'll be back again for more.

Yelp
We decided to come to the BAYVIEW KITCHEN at the last minute. It was either this one vs another one in Amityville. BAYVIEW won because it was a mile away from where we were and it's black owned. Being Black History Month we wanted to patronize a black owned business. I'm GLAD we did. Our waitress came over not too long after we sat down. Following her walked over the owner, Chef 'jerk chicken' Josh. Before our meals came, he gave us a brief history of the restaurant. How long in business: four years. He said he opened about five months before COVID. Due to sheer determination and the continued patronage of core customers, he was able to stay open. Chef Josh said BAYVIEW KITCHEN is family owned. His sister, nephew, brother and a cousin help to run this small restaurant. We found it while small and cozy in appearance, its BIG on food presentation and taste. My fish was SOOOOO GOOOOOD. I think I got four big pieces with crispy hot French Fries. I had to take some home. My friend girl and her son enjoyed the Buffalo Soldier wrap and BayView Burger. Our busboy and waiter, Jairo, is Chef Josh's neighbor. Chef Josh said Jairo came in looking for work in a suit and tie with his resume. Chef Josh said he didn't look at his resume. Him being 17 years old and wanting to work, " I hired him on the spot." While we were there, there was a crowd, but it wasn't loud or overwhelming. It felt comfortable. People were taking pictures, laughing, enjoying themselves. I am definitely making a second trip here!!!!! The personable touch of the chef and owner. The knowledgeable but attentive waitress. The work ethic of the busboy. ALL make this a neighborhood gem. FRESH MADE TO ORDER. COMPLETELY CUSTOMIZED FOR YOU- Chef Josh

Yelp
Bayview Restaurant is an AMAZING experience!! The food is absolutely delicious and made with the healthiest ingredients. You will not find another restaurant that masters this delectable fusion menu. Executive Chef Josh is a whole VIBE!! PERIOD!!! He's a fantastic host ....and gave all his "guests" red carpet treatment. His energy is off the chain!! He explained the menu and informed us of all the fresh ingredients and homemade sauces. For example: I am not a fan of cilantro.... They were on the Nachos and it was so organic and fresh.... It had such a mild flavor. My daughter and I didn't even detect it. We had the Fried Whiting with waffles, Salmon Burger, Fried Okra, Chicken Wings, Nachos aka "Not Nachos" , Curry Shrimp and Rice and Peas. You felt it couldn't get more delicious and then came another succulent dish!! What an 5 star experience...... The cocktails and mocktails were equally as delicious!! The Marcus Garvey, The Chockhold and The Hawaiian were scrumptious!!!!!!! Absolutely LOVE Bayview Kitchen!!!!!!

Yelp
First time here, place is very cute and clean. Everyone was friendly and helpful. I had an idea of a couple of items I may want, and they recommended the BLAT which was delicious. I will definitely be back. They have a lot of other items I want to try.

Yelp
Wow! This place is amazing! Jerk chicken Josh and all his employees are great people! Yesterday was our second time there and Josh remember my name (it's not an easy name to remember) and all of our orders! And the food is so fresh and tasty! Everything we have eaten there is so good Josh should charge twice the amount because that's how good it is! Josh is family after only two times going. That is our new spot! Definitely give it a try. You won't be disappointed at all!

Yelp
Seen this place on tiktok & Instagram and decided to take a trip out to Long Island. My experience was just okay. My friend and I went last Sunday for brunch. Our personal opinion was there isn't a lot of options for breakfast food, but they offered sandwiches and burgers as well. There was about 4 options just for grits! I went in with the expectation I would have an option to get Caribbean style breakfast (salt fish w/provisions). Both my friend and I felt like we had to settle. We decided to try some items, we've never had before like the chef's special mimosa, sorrel wings and deep salmon sandwich. If you like sorrel, try that mimosa. The sorrel wings were okay, we were only able to taste the flavor on the skin of the chicken, the inside was eh. The deep salmon burger was good. We also ordered plantains and the Bayview burger, both good as well. But the plain fries served with a sandwich or burger is not it! The restaurant is a decent size and pretty much ran by one person, who was bussing tables, seating customers, taking and bringing out orders. He was very helpful and patient with us. Old school reggae played the entire time, some songs were even on repeat.

Yelp
Went in on a Sunday around noon. They only offered the breakfast and brunch menu, dinner menu wasn't available. We both ordered the Big Poppa - Grass fed skirt steak with eggs and home fries. It was marinated nicely, not overpowered or too salty. They served it with a homemade chimi churri sauce that was super fresh and zesty! Portions were generous, cook as ordered and the dish was bursting with flavor. We can't wait to return and sample the dinner menu !!! Lively music (kinda loud ) playing and upbeat atmosphere. Owner of establishment came out to check on all tables during our visit.

Yelp
I live about 10 minutes from here and I've always passed by wanting to try, finally went in yesterday and this place is absolutely amazing. First I got to listen to old school R&B music that I haven't heard in so long. The staff were super friendly and offered suggestions to eat. Tried the house special chicken and waffles and the breakfast sandwich. It was absolutely delicious. I don't think I can ever go to another place to have breakfast ever again after tasting this food. Highly recommended.

Yelp
I went to Bayview Kitchen after a great 5k run. I was really exhausted. Once I got inside the spot I felt right at home. Viv was a great server and the food was incredible. Would definitely come back!!!
