I'm probably a old man (Im 37), but I wasn't really surprised as much with the rooms and stuff. A LOT of flashing lights. Great music in the small "town". A few good jump scare actors. The constant "keep moving" with the darkness of the rooms made me feel unimpressed by the hallways and rooms. It's nicely decorated but I wasn't able yo enjoy it cause I couldn't see everything like I would have liked. My girlfriend really enjoyed it. OH FYI, we did the Vampire Valentines dinner add on pack. The restaurant STILL charges you a surcharge of 10 dollars a person. Even though you bought the 3 course meal. Not a deal breaker, Just wish I knew this ahead of time. Everyone was surprised they had a bill or over 20 dollars.

Great for first time seeing haunted houses! Not scary as I imagined but still worth visiting, good for younger ages too. It is cash only for some food/alcohol vendors . The effects and decorations were really cool and put together. Recommend wearing shoes you don’t mind getting dirty and a sweater since its right by the water. Parking across the street is $10.

Getting there is easy and it sits on the long island sound. Parking seemed to be available in this beach lot that said the gates closed at dusk...so we were able to find on street parking about 2.5 blocks down. Mind you they never closed the gates for the beach parking. Entry was easy if you prepay you just walk to the haunted attraction they scan the barcode and you enter. The lines were short and and you get to go in with your group. Avoid going on rainy nights everything was so muddy. The staff were nice, but as a person who goes to many haunted attractions yearly, this one only had a few decent perks. Not much for actually scary moments to be honest. It felt short staffed and they had more mannequins then staff in the attractions...it felt like walking through a lame horror themed museum on most of the attractions. They claim 15 min walk through, yeah that's not true at all. Many attractions were relatively short amd there is non stop walking through heavy stipped plastic dividing curtains and honestly for the amount they charge for a basic ticket, I feel I could have gone to NJ for a more thrilling experience with true Hollywood effects. I left relatively disappointed and I will not be going again. The scare was just not there...frankly someone screaming "ahhhh" is not too scary imo. They did have a shipwreck restaurant. Definitely overpriced for their food, but the server was great and the food was decent. Try harder Bayville adventure park, you have a lot of work to do if you want to keep up with places like pure terror scream park and Brighton asylum as these two locations make bayville look like a kiddie pool.

First the lines were too long and they need to work harder on social distancing the parties.. they did however strongly enforce Mask compliance.. ***Buy the speed pass** we bought the speed pass after waiting online for an hour.. looked like it was another hour wait to go. With the speed pass we were inside the first haunted house in 3 minutes. The haunted houses were excellent.. worth every penny i paid.. great experience. My 12 year daughter and her friends were scared, excited and thought it was great.. definitely recommend!!!!!

i went here last night. place is really nice but not too many things to do for 22 dollars. hot chocolate was 3.75 but it tasted like water . train ride was nice. Santa looked like of tired. employee were very friendly and kind. i wish it was cheaper maybe. i got my tickets from Groupon but i had to pay tax at the site which didn’t make sense. hot food at restaurant was great.

I recently had the opportunity to visit a haunted adventure park and it was absolutely incredible! From start to finish, I was completely immersed in a spooky and thrilling world. First of all, the park itself was beautifully decorated with creepy props and decorations that really set the mood. It was clear that the staff put a lot of effort into creating an authentic and terrifying atmosphere. The haunted house was the highlight of my experience. It was so well-designed and executed that I genuinely felt like I was walking through a horror movie. The actors were incredibly talented and committed to their roles, which made the experience even more frightening. One thing I particularly appreciated about this adventure park was the range of scares. There were jump scares, but also moments of suspense and psychological terror. It was clear that the creators put a lot of thought into the various scares to ensure that there was something for everyone. Overall, I had an amazing time at this haunted adventure park and would highly recommend it to anyone in search of a spooky and thrilling experience. The attention to detail, talented actors, and range of scares made for an unforgettable experience.

We went here for Winter Wonderland. I paid $24/person and it wasn't much there to do. There were many people there either. Santa Viewing was $17 which was worth it. Perhaps, the park shouldnt charge $24 for admission for Santa Viewing only. Will not go back.

It was my first time there and boy, it was a let down quite honestly. At the time of opening only 1 of 6 attraction was open, which was the manor. The rest didn't start opening until 30 to 40 minutes after opening. The entire place was cash only (aside from the gift shop )which isn't great for most people who has a debit/credit card or people who uses the tap system, I know there'sand ATM, but the fee isnt worth it. The layout was a bit confusing, a little more organization and a map of the park would help out immensely as it'll minimize the crowd confusion. As for the attraction themselves, it was mostly props and lighting effects, only a few of actual actors were a part of it which disappointed me. The fun house of terror was a good one. I paid an extra $5 for an add on attraction called "Nyctophobia" sadly it wasn't open, I wanted to get a refund but all they can offer was another go around in another haunted attraction or food, or jello shots, I just left. Most of the add-on attraction was closed so I feel sorry for the people who purchased it. All in all it was just a let down. Do it once and that's it.

Yelp
A place with so much potential that should be way cheaper. This place is fun! If you scare easily and still enjoy horror like I do, it is worth the visit. A great spooky date or night out with friends for the Halloween season. The actors are so interactive and into what they do that they make the experience worth it. The amount of houses, the time spent within them, the animatronics/decorations/props, watery $15 cocktails, and lack of organization do not justify the prices however. It should be a crime to charge people for only 3 houses- as it would never be worth the time traveling here. My boyfriend and I had a standard ticket with entry into all 6 houses plus a pass into the "secret" bars, yet still left way earlier than we expected. It was a Monday and maybe that explained the lack of actors, but there needed to be way more people in those houses. Some houses delayed opening and we were on line way past 7pm (the time on our tickets.) Use the bathroom in the arcade area, the porta potties are disgusting. I didn't see any actors around outside, so I don't know what those reviews are about. In order from best to last, 1. Uncle Needle's Funhouse of Fear 3D - scary! the mirror maze in beginning is epic! lots of laughing and scares! beginning rooms had corny decorations and props but still fun. actors in end were awesome. I was spookedddd. My favorite one. 2. Bayville Asylum- best actors here. the guy at entry paced everyone so well. I wasn't spoiled by anyone ahead and could take my time. super well organized by everyone involved. the rooms here had better props/decorations/etc in terms of horror and scare factor. The actors were super interactive. This one was so much fun. 3. Bloodworth Haunted Mansion- a classic haunted house with a gothic aesthetic. I love vampires so this was cool. There is a very weird part of this maze where you don't know where to go and it's kind of ehh... if ykyk. This one felt pretty long too. 4. The Cage- this is where it starts to go really wrong tbh. this was just a maze with not much to look at. I like the idea of it but poorly executed, could be a lot more. the walls were still designed better than the temple. poorly paced and crowded, people ahead and behind me. the bottom two have this huge issue as well. the actors in this were so scary and funny though. "You're not my friend, you're my victim!" LMAO. 10/10 acting from who was there, interactive, and scary- but still not enough actors present! Over with fast. We stopped at the bar halfway through, which we paid for in addition to our ticket, and still paid $15 a cocktail. I couldn't even tell there was liquor in mine. It tasted like pure juice and the vibes at the bar were atrocious. So dead and like no one wanted to be there. We left after one drink and never drank at any of the other secret bars because we didn't wanna waste our money further. 5. Temple of Terror- Wtf was this. Be so for real. This was so boring. Literally packed from person to person, we were moving like livestock. No one was getting scared. It was so dead, you couldn't see any of the animatronics. It was just walking through dark paneled walls? There was barely any actors but yet again, credit to the two that I did see that scared the living daylight out of me. Couldn't leave this one fast enough. I don't think anyone looked like they enjoyed this 6. Evil in the Woods Haunted Trail- I have no comment on this. The trail was so boring. Literally just walked through the dark, there was like no actors and when there was eventually, they did nothing but look at you. This was another one packed with bad pacing. Every group was moving fast because there was nothing to see but red lights and poorly dimmed ones. The bus was scary but over too quick. This was the one with the longest line so I expected more. Shout out to the security guy at the exit of each one. He was the scariest part. Lol. Scared me so many times. He's the bomb. All of the actors are fabulous and holding this place together. Great acting and so into it. Just not worth the ticket price and over way too soon. We ended up leaving way earlier than we imagined and just spent our money at Texas Roadhouse instead. Disappointed but still was scared and had fun, which I guess is the whole point! 3/5!

Yelp
I wish I could give this place a half a star. I went to bayville last night with a group of friends. This place has been on the decline for quite some time. The tickets are now $60 dollars a head and they don't make it worth the price. The lines move along just fine but the staff is horrendously rude. But let's get to the important part, the scares. The haunted houses although are visually cool and full of gore, there are literally no actors in any of the rooms. Each haunted house had maybe max 2 actual actors and they didn't even try to scare you. They would just stand there and say something. It was one of those experiences that you had to make it fun on your own by turning the corner and scaring your friend. The outdoor movie is bar far the best part of the whole place and the ambiance. The actor with the chainsaw was actually having fun and did his job well I will say that. The woods were just like a nature walk with figures that were lit up. Not scare at all. The maze was just plastic walls and dirt floors with fences - no scares at all in this whole maze I just walked right through it. The experience that sealed the deal for me and will ensure I never come back is the funhouse. I don't like clowns so during this one I kept my eyes closed for most of it. I was walking past and an actor must have brushed passed me. Then started to scream in my face that "I CANT TOUCH THE ACTORS" when I opened my eyes I realized it wasn't them trying to scare me but literally accusing me of touching them. Which I absolutely did not because I don't want to look at a clown let alone try to touch an actor dressed as one. They continued to argue with me but I was genuinely shocked because I know I hadn't. The next actor tried to explain that they get touched all day and that person is just frustrated. I don't give a damn, it was rude and I'm a paying costumer that didn't do anything wrong. She proceeded to say that if she didn't believe that I didn't touch the actor she would be kicking our whole group out. That kind of just ruined the mood and us trying to make the best out of a crappy place. Seriously, don't waste your time going to this place. Blood manor is not even a good haunted house and I would rather go there.

Louise D.

Yelp
Sorry, no. We came here with a group. Booked the hotel nearby because we were going to make a night of it. The prices were outrageous. One of the haunted houses were so scary empty. The organization and the funding to promote this place is BS. I personally didn't pay for my ticket a friend in the group did. Once I get paid I've giving her money because this event wasn't it. All the bad things everyone is saying is super true. We ended up going back to the hotel and canceling our reservations. Ended up going to fright fest a few days later. Do not waste your time here. I wouldn't trust eating or drinking anything here. We literally stayed for less than 30 minutes. A lot of the attractions were closed.

Yelp
I saw on Facebook an ad for Valentine's Day. Bayville Adventure Park had a package with a 3 course meal and Haunted House pass for $85. My cousin and I started with dinner at the restaurant a few buildings down. Our reservation was for 6pm. They give women a rose upon entering. The restaurant was decorated nicely. The service was good. We ordered mozzarella sticks and beet salad for appetizers. For dinner, we shared chicken Franchese and penne Ala vodka. Dessert, we both got chocolate cake. The chicken Franchese was on the more lemony side. And the penne Ala vodka's sauce was too thin. Overall, everything was good though. The park opened at 7:30pm so after dinner we headed to there. It snowed/rained that day so the park wasn't really crowded which was great. There were three haunted house which included a house, asylum, and fun house. We started with the haunted house. It was just my cousin and I and it was the scariest thing ever. The staff only had us to scare and they went ALL OUT! It was 20 minutes of being frightened. I was so happy when it was over. We had to take a break before going to the next place because we were so rattled. Then we went to the asylum thankfully following a couple. The man was like the hulk so we felt protected and could enjoy the experience because our eyes weren't closed the entire time. He was like a shield which helped. Lastly, was the fun house which we followed a different couple. They had a maze of mirrors and a walkway that made you dizzy. It was a lot of fun. One woman staff followed me to every house. Just when I thought I was safe there she was popping out of nowhere. I definitely recommend this place. I think they have something for St. Patrick's Day. Order your tickets!

Yelp
Such a fun filled evening with the kids. I would definitely recommend BAYVILLE Adventure Park to others. They have 6 haunted houses, golf, axe throwing, a bar, and a restaurant on site for dining. I would suggest a better structure when checking in to get on the rides. Maybe a faster process would color coded bands placed when getting into the park. Very time consuming when you have multiple people in your group and you have to scan each ticket every time to go into each haunted house. Other then that there was no issues and would definitely recommend that you visit if you are heading out on Long Island.

Angela R.

Yelp
This is the good ol' bait & switch. Social media vids made this place look scary & high tech. I got there drove hours & it was a huge disappointment. Old,outdated props. There's a whole bunch of haunted buildings & it was so horrible I left. I didn't even finish the experience. Lines & crowds are out of control. Ppl. Skipping & lines were everywhere. It was so disorganized.Employees had no control. I should have done more research before going so far out.

Krys L.

Yelp
We visited Bayville Scream Park last night with my 13-year-old son and a few of his friends. While the kids had a fun time, I found a few issues that made the experience less enjoyable for me. First, the lack of clear signage for the Fast Pass lanes was frustrating. It was difficult to tell which line was which, and when I asked an employee for clarification, I was met with a condescending response: "the shorter line." This kind of attitude took away from the experience, especially considering how much we paid. Speaking of cost, it's very expensive! The minimum you can spend is $62 per person (with tax), and that only covers three haunted houses. You can't just purchase access to one house. Since the kids wanted me to go along with them, I had to buy a ticket, too. For the 4 kids with the Fast Pass option for three haunted houses, the total was $311. My non-Fast Pass ticket was $62. Altogether, it felt like a steep price to pay for an hour's worth of entertainment. We were done fairly quickly, and at 7 pm (when it opens), we really didn't need the VIP Fast Pass at all. In terms of the experience, you'll definitely scream, jump, and have a good time, but considering how expensive it is, it's hard to justify the cost, especially in this economy. While the kids enjoyed themselves, I was left feeling like it wasn't worth the money.

T K.

Yelp
I wish I could give this place negative stars. We came during the day for the "non-scary" time. It was one of the biggest wastes of not only $150 but an hour of my time. The bumper boats looked like they were gonna sink, one haunted house was okay and the maze was a joke. I know it's targeted to little kids but with minimal effort they could make it much better. Go to Hicks instead.

Mariah B.

Yelp
Won't be back! Spent over $100 on two tickets for three haunted houses. One of the haunted houses (The Temple of Terror) was just a maze with disgusting mud. Only two actors were in the maze who didn't even jump out at us. The house that featured the clowns was the only cool house. Everything else was NOT WORTH IT! Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. You'd think with all of the advertisements it would be worth it. but I was shocked to say the least.

H J.

Yelp
This should be zero stars. Not a kid friendly environment at all. Park is understaffed. One of the attractions had one actor in it. The rest of the time it was just cheesy plastic skeletons and walking in circles. The other attractions were not much better. They seemed more concerned with selling silly Jell-O shots than making the place enjoyable. On top of that people were drinking in the lines and the bathroom stunk like weed while the bench area smelled like cigarettes. They also definitely need security there because every time we left one of the attractions there were different groups of teens (and adults) fighting either with the staff or shouting at other groups. I haven't seen so many people who don't know how to act in a while. It felt more like a low grade sketchy nightclub than somewhere I would want to bring my loved ones. Definitely not family friendly. 0/10 don't recommend.

Derrick T.

Yelp
The positive aspect was that we did not purchase the speed pass, allowing us to access the attractions quickly. However, the downside was the lack of actors and actresses, particularly in the Evil Woods. Given the ticket price of $70-$100, one would expect a greater presence of performers. For an experience like this, the cost should have been around $40. Overall, I was disappointed.

Antoinette V.

Yelp
Overpriced for "very" scary haunted houses. There were minimal scare actors in the houses we went in. I paid 160 for 2 people and 3 houses and there were maybe 3-4 actors in each house. And these houses had plenty of corners and space for way more. Security was rude as hell and attendant in blood manor yelled at me for having my phone out right as I walked into the house. I needed my phone to show the outside attendant the QR code to get in. It was a complete waste of money: there was nothing scary about this place. Please don't waste your money here. It's not worth it at all. All you'll do it get yelled at by attendants and security for stupid shit and you'll waste your hard earned money. If I could give it a zero I would.

Sarah C.

Yelp
I'd like to preface this with... I have never been more disappointed in an establishment than I am right now. A group of 8 of us on Saturday went to Bayville Scream Park. We paid $88 each for speed pass and access to all haunted houses while 2 of us got the "secret bars" access pass ($10 added per ticket). Haunted houses have many aspects that make it a good one, but what makes its experience is it's actors and staff. During the first house "haunted woods" we encountered TWO actors both hanging in the abandoned bus towards the end, we enter the bus and they just stared at us. The haunted woods trail was a low lit, cleared wooded path with some spot lighting and no actors to scare us. Terrible but we thought it would get better. It didn't... two of the houses had NO ONE. It was so bad everyone started to scare each other... us customers provided entertainment and scares to each other!!! The bar at the beginning was heavily staffed while the rest of the park had no one. They feed us into the houses 20+ at a time so we're all cramped in, like cattle, tripping over people while we stood in decorated rooms but with no actors while the line (inside the haunted house) stood still. The speed pass was a waste of money because they didn't check our tickets for it, the bar pass they didn't check for because while waiting for a house they just stamped us all. When coming up the enterence to the bars they let everyone in them regardless if you had a stamp or not. The more the merrier but why charge for it?? Everyone was complaining, people yelling to the people on the mile long line that it wasn't worth it. Just a mess. The prices inside were insane $7 for a non alcoholic Jell-O shot, $15 an alcohol beverage with no sign of liquor, cold pizza (I understand the prices but I'm including just as I information for others) I'm not sure if it's that they are unable to staff their establishment or they just didn't care to give people who are spending $100 a person a decent experience. Our group spent over 1k and the entirety of our group was extremely disappointed. Is this a rare occurrence or is this a reality of bayville scream house?

Jen S.

Yelp
Do it. Went here on the Saturday before Halloween and there was a line to a line to a line. Security didn't do a great job once you were in the second queue but there were a lot of people. Milo the security guard was so helpful. Once you were inside everyone was super nice. Woman's bathroom overflowed in the arcade area bc there was just too many people. However the haunted houses were good! A few lights and animatronics were down but the scare actors were great. The haunt actor pictured in my review was seriously amazing! He was everywhere at once! As someone who has done special effects in haunts before, I thought these were good. While waiting in the second queue they played portions of classic horror movies which really got us in the mood. By the end of the night we walked out thanking everyone. We had a nice time. The drinks and tickets are expensive but for something you'd do just once a year, worth it.

Jen N.

Yelp
Came here many years ago and decided to return for my daughters birthday. We purchased all 6 attractions for 7pm on Saturday night. We got there a little early and hung around. It wasn't packed at that time which I appreciated very much. Bloodworth Haunted Mansion was great. They haven't updated it much since I was last there (maybe 10 years ago?) But still great nonetheless. There was a cast member who stunk to high heaven. A horror in and of itself. Animatronics were on point but there were some miscues. The Asylum was pretty good. Not many scares. Pretty much the same as the haunted mansion with scary patients instead of scary monsters and ghosts. Uncle Needles Fun House of fear was super short. We were in and out in what seemed like 5 minutes and 3 of those were spent trying to navigate the mirror maze. Cool maze though. Screws with your perception. Another cast member stunk. Perhaps the costumes need some cleaning. Sour acidic sweat would be my guess. Temple of terror is where most of our time was spent as we had to navigate a maze in the dark. Same animatronics. Pretty much knew what to expect. Not many cast members or scares. Wish there were more! Evil in the Woods was definitely the best of the bunch. There were legit scares and I think having to navigate in "open woods" without knowing what you'd run into led to the exciting anticipation. Climbing into the bus was pretty awesome. The chainsaws and machete wielding cast members, along with the perfectly timed "bush hiders" were great. More of this please! Finally, The Cage. This attraction is located in the far corner by Bloodworth Mansion. Pretty cool. More of the same, though. I don't want to give away too much as part of the excitement is the unknowing. Maybe more cast members are needed. I found myself walking through rooms and areas without seeing anyone for long stretches of time. That was disappointing. Also, don't waste money on the speed pass unless you plan on going later. If it's your first time, you'll love it. Not sure if I'd pick all attractions again should I return. Best attraction: Evil in the Woods - without a doubt. Worst: Uncle Needles Fun House.

Yelp
Came here last minute for Halloween night. I was anticipating massive crowds and we were confronted with a long line to get in, but once inside it was not to bad. In my opinion, the first haunted house was the best. After that, each haunted house lost there luster somewhere. It was also pretty obvious that there was not enough actors to cover each haunted house. In the "temple of doom" not one person came to scare us and we just spent 20 minutes walking through a maze with random spooky decorations. However, I LOVED the guy that ran through the entire park with the chain saw. He added to the night and created a lot of laughs. Also, the large screen projector with scary movie compilations was a great aesthetic to enjoy drinks and food with. Overall, the place was not bad to visit and was something different. I would probably come back in the summer to visit the beach across the street and enjoy some carnival food at the same time.

Natalie T.

Yelp
if I could give this place zero stars I would I usually don't write reviews about things, but I wasted $71 and the scariest I got was saying "oh shit you got me"in a regular toned voice. there's barely any actors and probably eight out of the 10 actors are texting in the houses instead of scaring you. for that I would've just paid more attention to my life since it's probably scarier than that haunted house. look more into others. This one is definitely not for you.

Dave G.

Yelp
Very friendly and helpful staff. Big thank you to Steve who took extra good care of our kid on the ropes course. Many things to do. Really fun mini golf course. Downsides are the ticket counter only accepts cash. Most people do not carry that much cash these days. An unlimited wristband is $33 which is a good deal, but non riding guests are required to buy a $14 entry ticket! Best to drop the kids off for this one.

Maria G.

Yelp
The whole place is terrible. Overpriced and super crowded. No organization with the staff either. The props are outdated and there's no workers inside the attractions to scare the guests. No wonder they have a ton of alcohol in order to make the experience bearable and even that did not work. They ran out of food in certain places and once the food was ordered at the diner they had, it was disgusting and cold. The security doesn't check anything properly and lets anyone in which is a safety concern. Also the restrooms are blocked from being used in the arcade and they want you to use either the dirty porta potties or the restroom by the tiki bar where the water didnt work at all and the line was insane for the womens restroom. They obviously want you to buy alcohol at the tiki bar when you are done with bathroom. The parking is 20 Dollars in a cheap motel next to the attraction, no ticket was given or confirmation that payment was done or you were getting the car that belonged to you at the end. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY! Its not scary, its not worth the money.

T T.

Yelp
Went on a Sunday afternoon with my kids for the "not so scary" park as advertised. Only one haunted amusement open and not one animatronic. After that nothing to do but a bouncy house. What a rip off. They told us the kids can decorate a pumpkin, then when we were going to do it, they told me I have to pay for that. Don't Go!!!!!!! Give your money to someone who needs it if you want to burn money.

Samantha P.

Yelp
I was super excited to come here since I have been wanting to go to a haunted attraction for awhile now. Sadly, this place was not worth the 2+ hour drive. There seemed to be not enough workers since one of the haunted attractions we went to, we just walked around In a dark maze for a good 5 minutes or so before someone came to scare us. After that, majority of the time we were just walking in the dark. For the other attractions there wasn't much to see. Id say to just buy the package with all six attractions since the three attractions went by super quick.

RT H.

Yelp
This review is for the miniature golf course only. It's awesome and well put together. There's a motel behind the course and a guy was looking at me through his window. What's that about? Great place for a date. People are nice too. AAA++++

Yelp
(Originally written in 10/24/20) I cannot say this enough, avoid this place like the plague. Don't believe what their commercials or any other advertising says about how they are the "Scariest Haunted House in New York", because that is a total lie. There's too much to go over so I'm just going to list all of the problems out: None of the houses were remotely scary, most of the houses barely had any actors in them what so ever, most of the props were deactivated and/or falling apart, security is incredibly rude, lines can last from 30 minutes to an hour for no payoff, the lines were usually very crowded and is a genuine hazard, and much more. If I had to describe the place in one word it would be 'chaotic' or 'disorganized', different lines for the different attractions were poorly labeled and can be confusing. I remember waiting on the Bloodworth line for 30-40 minutes until I got to the front. I personally didn't have any problems at that point, but the couple ahead of me stated that they got fast pass tickets for the ride and told the person allowing people into Bloodworth that they got fast pass and they waiting in the regular line for no reason. All the person manning the entrance of the haunted house said. 'Sorry, I don't know what to say'. If I was in that situation, I would be beyond livid. As you can guess, many of the employees could care less how the guests were doing, if they were happy or not. This is not my first time going there, from what I remember it used to be much better years ago, but now it's nothing but a shell of it's former self. The heads, owners, and managers of the park are nothing but greedy scumbags who only care about making money. Instead of using their money to improve the conditions in the park and hire more qualified people to work there and organize everything, they just spend it on commercials to hype up the park and get more people to flood in so they can make as much money as possible. Don't be tricked by their ads, don't be tricked by their website, it's a complete waste of time and money.

Yelp
This Place is absolutely terrible. I took my child for his 9th Birthday, and the Arcade was filthy with dirt rugs and out of order machines. We tried a few games like the ski ball, Pirate Game, Racing Game, and more, but didn't work. And it didn't give out any of our money back. Almost all of the games there were not working! Expect for very few, while the mini golf was not bad although it was infested with bees and hornets and wasps. Plus with dark mosquito water in the golf holes. I definitely do not recommend the mini golf for little children. Especially one's that don't like bug or bees or wasps. And the Staff were even worse... The one short lady that works up front is rude, and just straight up disgusting. We asked for a refund and the lady gave us a hard time. We then asked for the manager and she refused. Overall don't go here, waste of time, and waste of money.

Yelp
Extremely overpriced do not do the vip pricing it's a complete rip off and not worth it no matter what age children you have

Yelp
We went to the winter wonderland theme this past weekend and it was nothing like you see in the pictures the train only fit 2 small families and it didn't even have tracks. There's not much to do for the price you pay the arcade needs work half the machines were down or missing pieces(not included for what you pay)

Yelp
Basic rides and staff is rude and if u are wet u are permitted to go on any rides Dodd is bad and every ride is bought and smoke smell in the air.

Yelp
I went for the sream park and not once did i scream. We paid for 6 haunted houses. Not worth the money that was paid. the floor was muddy. And not enough actors. Kids were scaring the actors. The only thing that Adults may enjoy is the alcoholic beverages sold and jello shots. I went, i saw, and had the experience but will not be returning

Yelp
If I could give 0 stars I would!! I never write bad reviews but this place is absolutely terrible. Not only did I pay almost $300 dollars for 4 tickets for 6pm. Before you even get to the haunted house you wait on the line for 2-3 hours. THE STAFF IS SO RUDE. No social distancing at all. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. Schmitts haunted farm is way better, go there instead. Not only that but I saw people with a mask and no one said shit.

Yelp
I went here in October of 2023, I was looking for somewhere fun to go with my girlfriend. I've been to a bunch of haunted houses in my life - let me begin by saying this place is an absolute joke. You can't buy tickets to single attractions so the minimum bundle you can get is a 3 pack. For two people this cost me $123.19. Already, I was upset about paying this insane price but I figured if the attractions were well done, I would enjoy myself and forget about getting ripped off. They weren't. There's a bunch of attractions, but you can't get into all of them unless you buy the 6 attraction bundle, for example we wanted to go to the haunted asylum but you can only get in if you purchase the more expensive ticket pack. Let's start by talking about the park itself. It was so poorly laid out and disorganized. They had a bunch of roped off lines but they created pinch points in the walking areas and we were constantly having to jump over the ropes and bump into people. The park was poorly laid out and we had trouble finding the entrances to the attractions. The attractions themselves were the reason we came however, and we were willing to overlook these other issues if the haunted houses were worth it. They were not. They were absolutely terrible and I left the park feeling really upset and taken advantage of. I'll describe the attractions I went to below if you're interested in why I thought they were so terrible but to summarize, they were sparsely decorated, dated, missing actors and just extremely underwhelming. Also not scary at all. The scariest part was how much money I wasted. I really advise against going here, save your money and go elsewhere. The owners of this park don't deserve your money. Speaking of the attractions, let's break down the individual ones that we visited. Fun house of fear: This is a haunted clown thing. It starts off with an elaborate mirror maze which was actually one of my favorite things about the entire experience. It ends with some really cheesy clown decorations and a few robotic props that jump out at you. There were only a few actors the whole time. We got one good scare when this girl with a rubber chicken jumped out at us. It seemed like there were many more spots for actors to be placed but there were so few to be found in this attraction (this is a recurring theme in the park). A bunch of props were broken and dark. As anemic as this attraction was, on balance I think it was the best one we went to. Temple of Terror: We had trouble finding the entrance to this one. When we finally got in we started walking through this dimly lit passageway. The walls were made of this plastic with a corny temple stamped into it. We must've walked for several minutes before anything happened. When we finally got to the heart of the attraction there was almost nothing there. Really. I'm not exaggerating. A good amount of the props were broken and not lit up. We wound up shining our phone lights at the props so we could see them. There were a few actors during this maze but it just felt extremely empty. Again, there were no creepy decorations, very few interesting effects and hardly any creepy lights or strobes. Seriously, 80% of this temple was just walking though this plastic walk way. The plastic panels were all cracked, some were missing....it really couldn't have been any worst. I literally can not find a single good thing to say about it. This was by far the worst attraction we visited. Bloodworth Manor: I went to this haunted house years ago and remember it being much scarier and more elaborate, with actors chasing me and jumping out all throughout the house. I either remembered wrong or it went downhill. There were a lot more props than the other haunted houses. They looked really dated and some were damaged and not working but at least there were things to look at here. Again, there were so few actors in this haunted house, I'd estimate about 3 people jumped out at me. It was just overall really underwhelming. Trust me, I'm no tough guy but I was not scared AT ALL during this. If tickets were $10 to go to this I would've said "eh it was ok" but for the $40 or so it cost us to get in, it was downright criminal! Evil In The Woods: You don't even need to buy a ticket to get into this. It's just a short trail through the woods with some props but most of them weren't lit up so we had to shine our phone lights at them to see what they were. It was not good at all and not scary.

Yelp
The worst !! Don't bother spending money on this !!! With all the houses that have opened this year there are much better places to ho

Yelp
HIGHWAY ROBBERY. DO NOT GO HERE. THIS PLACE IS A SHAM. They failed me in through their intriguing Instagram ad ..... wow. I probably saw a total of three employees who were supposed to be "scaring us". They looked tired and over it. No effort. All of the mazes and attractions were empty. We were literally just walking through. Nothing scary at all. It's literally just a museum - walk and look. The floor of one of the mazes isn't cemented so we were literally walking in MUD in the DARK. It was literally a waste of time, money, and travel - worst experience EVERR. They must be money laundering or something or this must be a front business because ain't no way it's this bad.

Yelp
First time I came here was years ago and I didn't like it much. Went again on Saturday with some friends who've never been and although I warned them that it wasn't scary at all, they still wanted the experience. I do love the idea of this place and the fact they have a bar or 2. The place looks nice but the attractions are still just so awful and over priced. Nothing scary what so ever ... maybe for a kid. What makes it non scary is the lack of actors and the ones that are there , aren't scary ... they have crappy makeup on and don't do much. They should have more actors and have them wear really scary masks and you'll see the difference. With all that money they make , why don't they hire more people ??? Don't waste your money unless you want to lol

Yelp
Horrible overpriced, DANGEROUS experience. 3 of the attractions all exit into the same alley way. Imagine 300 people crammed into a narrow alley, drunk patrons shoving everyone from behind, all letting out straight into the entrance lines of the same attractions. It's a nightmare. I saw a small girls trying to hold on to her mother's hand as they were separated by the crowd. Zero planning, a fire code nightmare. The men's room was out of order, and the only other men's bathroom was in the restaurant, which had a line snaking through the entire dining room. I paid for the "speed pass" but nobody checked for it even once. So there was always a long line of people who DIDNT have a speed pass who just cut the line because they could. So there was many wasted. And the "attractions". One was literally a line for the post office. Just a winding line with no actors, no set design, just a long line.... That had a 30 minute line to enter. Don't bother with The Temple. The Fun house was decent, but their window that was supposed to be a video screen was just a screen saver. Easy to fix, but nobody that worked there cared. Same with the "spooky" television screens in the manor. Had some creepy imagery that was overshadowed by the Roku menu that was activated on every one of them. Nobody that worked there seemed to care about anything. Not our experience, not our safety, not proper covid protocols. Literally the worst public attraction I have ever experienced. It really should be shut down by the fire department. Under no circumstances should anyone bring children, as there is a very real concern that they would be separated or trampled. Whoever runs this place should be ashamed of themselves. This is coming from a public safety perspective, not any opinion of the content.

Yelp
Went to the Scream Park to see the spook houses and get a good scare. What a waste of money. I was unprepared and didn't have enough to pay at the cash only window, so I had to buy tickets through a phone app. Over $100 with the fees for 2 people. Totally understaffed, and the "actors", the few that were there, were totally indifferent. Paid for the 3 house deal. One of them was a muddy path with broken or non- functioning lights. Nothing was well decorated. Everything seemed old and dilapidated. Save your money, walk around the place and check out the decorations for free, then leave.

Yelp
Wow, and not in a good way. I was expecting to purchase the VIP pass for my son, but was informed that I would need to accompany him on many of the attractions so I too needed to purchase a pass or tickets. Turns out that many of the "attractions" he was able to go on by himself, so my pass was not needed. We walk into what seems like a ghost town, maybe 2 or 3 other families are at this park. The workers are all fraternizing with each other or on their phones, so they left many of the attractions unmanned. So even though there was no one at the park we had to wait until someone graciously opened the ropes to let the kids on the rides. The rules are they are not allowed on any of the dry rides wet, so they should do the dry rides first. This was repeated to us over and over. Even though we had purchased VIP passes the children are only allowed to do the balloon toss once (although I'm not sure how they would keep track if the attendants were changed). The park is kind of sad with Halloween decorations all over even in the dead of summer. The Maze and Fun house still had a lot of the decorations up, and it seemed like it was forgotten in there. The employees in general seemed to extremely disengaged, and stay clear of the red headed heavy set younger girl she has an attitude like no other. She is extremely rude and condescending, and cannot seem to handle a few children, I'm so glad that it was empty, I'd hate to see what she is like if this place was ever busy. The saving grace for this place was this blow up water slide (yes, like the ones people rent for birthday parties) the kids spent a large portion of their time on this ride and the restaurant that was connected to that area. Food was decent and everyone found something that they liked, and it was close enough to the water slide that we could grab drinks and sit and watch the kids play. Personally I felt this place was lackluster at best, with extremely rundown and cheesy things for the kids to do,

Yelp
I came here the weekend before Halloween with my siblings to have an adult haunted fun. I will say it was decorated nice and skeletons and pumpkins everywhere. There are 5-6 haunted houses but several issues here that weekend: 1-security staff was charging us $10 to get in haunted house while we already pre-paid our tickets online to get in. Several guys at entrances of the haunted house were doing this charging people and keeping the $$ for their pockets, 2- we went inside the haunted houses and not much of the scary machines were working. I would say most of the machines that were suppose to jump out at you or scare you, didn't do anything so they were broken., and 3- for all these broken machines and no organization in the place, they were charging a lot of money around $62. Too expensive! I didn't think for that price it was not worth it.

Jena V.

Yelp
The worst haunted house I've ever been too. I went to a haunted house in a Kmart and it was better than this. There was about 7 actors in the entire 6 haunted houses. The worst. Don't waste your time. My friend who's a wimp and was scared to enter was in the front begging people to scare her. A 2 year old could go trough these haunted houses without a blink.

Stephanie C.

Yelp
Don't come here. It is the absolute worst. For $34 per person, we spent $116 for the three of us and there was nothing to do. Two of the areas were closed off pending state inspection. The rest of the attractions were gross and dilapidated! Avoid!! Go somewhere else.

Drew C.

Yelp
If you wanna waste your money this is the place to go! The "Haunted houses" were not scary at all, the lines were ridiculously long. Don't bother doing the Axe throwing unless you want to waste your time waiting in line the entire night. The ice cream was freezer burned and for food it was a 40 minute wait after waiting 30 minutes on that line and the popcorn was stale. I would not recommend going here definitely not worth $145 for two people

Google U.

Yelp
This is the LAMEST Haunted House on Long Island! It's a complete joke! There are two horrible actors for each house. I'm disgusted I wasted money on this place. Not one person jumped out at us during the Forest Walk. It was just a dark and dirty walkway. We had the 10 PM slot. We stood on line until 11:30! They should refund everyone their money. What a MONEY GRAB!

Yelp
Over advertised and under promised. Workers were overwhelmed. I bought the 6 attraction with speed pass ticket but 1. No one scanned my tickets to enter the park. 2. No one scanned my tickets for the speed pass entrance. Therefore letting mass groups into the attractions/houses. Each houses only had up to 2-3 actors. It wasn't as scary or as fun as the other places I've been to. They didn't really put effort in scaring us. Most of them stood there staring at you. A majority of the attraction exits through the same alley way, causing major traffic. At some point when we were at a stand still rude customers were shoving their entitled asses through. There was no control or guidance from the workers. They were actually overwhelmed and felt claustrophobic. I was able to get through 2 attractions before I decided to leave. It just wasn't worth it. Also, parking was HORRIBLE. It was so packed that I ended up paying $10 parking at the beach. I spoke with one local there and she said it was never like this. I believe they over advertised and wasn't expecting the crowd and didn't have enough staff to control the place. Super disappointed. Not worth $155 (2tix) I wouldn't go back and I don't reccomend.

Yelp
Went yesterday for winter wonderland and it was awful. So not worth the drive time and money. First off we arrive and there is nobody at the entrance we go inside restaurant where we are told we have to pay taxes ok we pay the $10 or so for our group of 4 and go to see Santa. Santa was nice enough no wait not impressive either. 3 years ago was much better. After Santa we go to fun house which was ok and then to Christmas tree forest which was a weird muddy mess so not worth the walk, who thought of this? The ice in the ice skating rink was melted and skating was impossible. The skates given were broken and bad. Basically everything yesterday was an embarrassment. The best was Santa and the lion. 3 years ago they included the mini gold which this year was closed, they also gave the kids marshmallows to roast over the fire which this year was not the case. I spent over $100 for one hour of disappointment. Save yourself the trouble. They should have left things as they were a few years back or cut the price by more than half.

Yelp
This review is for the scream park. I was nervous when I saw the bad reviews for the haunted attractions but it was actually really good. The asylum was great and the lines didn't take too long. Total time in each house was about 10 minutes. The actors were great and the props were legit. I'd recommend it.

Neil A.

Yelp
Don't bother, place is falling apart. Things closed. Rip off pricing . A joke, not good at all

Charlotte F.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I went to Bayville Adventure Park for the first time. We got there 15 mins b4 it opened and it was empty. The workers look at us like we worked there. No one even bothered to ask us. We was waiting there for almost an hour and still wasn't opened. The website and google said it was opened. The workers aren't friendly. I don't recommend going there. It was like a ghost town. Just walked in. No signs of security. No signs saying hours or if they where closed. Waste of time. Don't spend ur money.

Tom H.

Yelp
Not scary and was under staffed long lines . Only one house was good . Needs more actors . And very expensive

Gina V.

Yelp
The mini golf was so filthy and flooded. Because of this, my family was unable to finish playing. The rude little girl at the counter gave me a hard time about getting a refund and we had to argue with her to get our money back. If it wasn't so overpriced, we wouldn't have made a big stink about it.

Michelle K.

Yelp
DONT GO TO THIS PARK!!!!!! Worst park ever been to. Attractions were dilapidated and in disrepair. Poison ivy in kid areas. Very expensive. Staff was completely disconnected. Do not recommend.
