B+B Belgravia

The employees are kind and make sure you feel comfortable. It’s a small hotel with a warm cozy vibe. The breakfast was traditionally English and we also liked it. The location was 10/10… in 5 minutes you’re at Victoria Station and from there u can go anywhere. We had a good time there and I recommend it. Nice hotel for a city trip :)

We stayed at this "b+b type" of place for a week in October. We were actually assigned to the studios at 82 Belgravia rather than 66, which was a bit disappointing (but adequate) To be clear-the "Studios at 82" does NOT include breakfast. Clean, fresh, well maintained, lovely staff. Our only real complaint: our room was Very Small. Again, adequate, clean and ok for a week--(we spend very little time in a room when we travel) The room temperature was just right, it was quiet and a lovely, safe neighborhood. The shower was good, the bathroom was fine. Nice towels and linens. The room was supplied with a toaster, a teakettle, a microwave and a little fridge stocked with essentials. However, there was only one chair--and a teeny table -- we couldn't really use the table because there was literally no place to put anything. No dresser, no shelves, a nightstand big enough only for one's watch and phone...a closet with 5 hangers (and exactly enough room for 5 clothing items and shoes) Our biggest complaint: | we had to live out of our suitcases the whole week. It's about a 6-7 minute walk from the Victoria tube station. (We'd recommend this place if staying for a day or two in Belgravia. But too small for 2 people for a week.)

Family room was small with shower never getting hot, water dripping all over the place.||Breakfast was very nice, even with daily GF bread. ||Bed, was very cozy. However... Very noisy room though. We were on the main floor. Room 5. Feel like we didnt sleep great since noises all night coming from other guests?||Good location, very walkable.

Great location. Good shower. Clean. Lovely breakfast prepared in front of you with large selection of breakfast items. Comfortable bed and service from staff great. Especially the lady from Spain who was duty manager.||Could improve by addressing a few issues in room and greater availability of water and hot drinks, as machine downstairs made drinks without milk and cooler had no water.

We booked a mini apartment very close to Victoria coach station and Belgravia. We looked online and it was a reasonable price so we could pay then or at our arrival. The receptionist was a very friendly Spanish lady which we could have a chat with, she was very helpful. Our apartment was in another building on the third floor, it is small but very clean and cosy. It has a small fridge, microwave, kettle, mini toaster and a small TV. The bed is double and it is comfortable. We don't have breakfast included in the price but there are ample offers downstairs. We recommended this B&B if you are looking for a nice accommodation

Backs onto the high-end Knightsbridge area, which was a fun walk around of an evening. SO close to Victoria station, this place was perfect for our quick trip! Our room was right near the front door so we heard people coming and going clearly, but nothing to bad to deal with. I would definitely recommend.

We stayed in the two bedroom apartment. The large kitchen with dining table was so helpful for us. The location is perfect and a very short walk from Victoria Coach Station. We will definitely stay again.

Booked an apartment 4 persons. This is a basement unit. Too much noise from unknown machines and also from heatsink of routers and switches located in unit. Very poor sleep quality experienced.||||Forgotten to provide breakfasts (which are breads, cheese, jam butter, juices and bottled waters) which ought to be replenlished but, unfortunately, I have to do the collections by myself and once made to feel embarrassed as their record said breakfast replenished when isnt and the reception staff kept repeating that the records said already replenished. Those are not expensive and i told the staff there is no reason i came to collect such basic stuffs when they were already replenished. Bad experience. I could have just buy from nearby supermarket.

We stayed here and May. The rooms were basic and decent. No AC but rooms had fans. No frill place but clean, safe, and serviceable. Breakfast and coffee were great. The problem is we were charged twice for our stay and the hotel will not get back to us to refund us. we were charged at the time of reservation and again at check-in. I was pretty sure we were already charged but were told their policy was to charge at check-in. Either that was a lie or a mistake was made. Either way, they will not refund our money and we are forced to dispute the charge. So, BEWARE!

I chose this place partly because of location and partly because it was recommended by Rick Steves. I regret it. Let's start with what's good. The location is definitely prime. It's just blocks from Victoria Station and the tube. Secondly the staff is fairly friendly. They did make me pay for my stay upfront which seemed odd to me. I've always paid for a stay anywhere when I check out. The breakfast was good and there's always free coffee or tea, and shortbread cookies in the lobby. All good. But the room itself was horrible. It was in the basement. It was always damp with a musty odor. There was one window you could open if you want anyone to look in or anything to fly in. The bathroom window doesn't open and the exhaust fan doesn't do a thing. It makes a very loud noise but doesn't remove any moisture. The water was literally running down the walls. There are no towel rack anywhere. No place to hang wet bath towels and no place to hang a hand towel. When you wash your hands you have to dry them on your shirt. The sink has a stopper but it doesn't work either. Every day I thought I'd lose a contact lens down the drain. My brother tried to wash out a shirt, but with little success. And after hanging in the damp room it was still wet 3 days later. The hot water is a joke. It takes about 5 minutes of running the water for it to get hot. Then trying to regulate it in the shower you can get either scalding or cold. The last 2 days we had no hot water at all. None. We let it run a full 15 minutes and it wasn't even warm. And there is no place to sit anything in the bathroom. You can lay your toothbrush on the sink but there no counter space anywhere. There's one teeny tiny shelf but it's taken up by the free toiletries they supply. Also there's no holder for the toilet paper. When you're sitting on the toilet you have to turn completely around and reach it on the window sill behind you. The free wifi was spotty. Maybe because we were downstairs. But frequently I had to go to the lobby to connect. Also, because we were downstairs we were awakened every morning at 7:30 when breakfast started. The breakfast room was directly above us so you heard all the clomping of footsteps of the other guests and all the chairs being pulled out and pushed in. There was no way to sleep through it. Perhaps a room upstairs would have a towel rack, or hot water or wifi or fresh air. But the downstairs "family" room was horrible!

I love this little bed and breakfast. It's well situated a block or so from a subway stop in an upmarket residential part of London and you get to pretend you live there. With its modern Ikea-meets-Design Within Reach decor, you never feel like you're at some lame mid-tier chain hotel or your grandparent's spare bedroom. Breakfast is generous and professionally staffed. No itchy small talk. No weird family recipes you feel pressured to try. Everything is pretty standard and comfortingly impersonal without being unfriendly. Hot items (eggs, breakfast meats, etc.) as well as cold items (cereal, fruit, croissants, muffins) are available. Various juices and milks (even soy milk) are also available. And, if you have really unique dietary concerns, you can call ahead and they will make sure they have what you need when you arrive. Do you like espresso based drinks? They have a commercial grade automatic espresso maker in the lobby that pumps the stuff out in whatever form you'd like (lattes, cappucinos, etc.) 24-7. Gratis. They also have free WiFi. Although there is no elevator, because it's a residential walk-up, who cares? If you pack light or have your husband haul your suitcases up the stairs, it is no problem. Great price point. Great value. I would say this bed and breakfast is best in class. A word of warning. Don't forget you're in London and accidentally plug your Sonicare toothbrush in without borrowing an adapter.

I am updating a previous review that expressed my utter disappointment in them. The groups manager Kati Latchford reached out to me herself and took care of everything that needed to be done! She understood my circumstance and was supportive enough to refund me the entire amount. I would recommend this hotel based on kindness alone, and if I am ever in London, will most certainly stay here. Thank you Ms Latchford!

I understand lodging in London is expensive and this B & B in the very nice Belgravia neighborhood, close to Buckingham Palace and lots of nice walking venues and restaurants comes at a good price point. The highlights are the adequate breakfast, cooked to order by friendly staff, and the location. BUT, the room we were in (#13) was pretty funky. Very large windows, with poorly fitting shades, facing the loud busy street with a nearby streetlight blaring in all night long. We had to use hangers to be able to have the windows stay open for ventilation with the shades down. One shade was badly deformed, hardly blocked incoming light at all, and could not be raised completely. One light fixture above the sink was broken, the other was missing a bulb. There was a drip coming out of the light fixture in the shower. And the sliding glass door to the toilet provided little privacy as it did not close completely or even stay in the most closed position it allowed. There is inadequate space to hang towels and the shower has no surface on which to place soap and shampoo except the floor. I told all of this to the manager, and the light fixtures were fixed after two days and the shade was marginally straightened. Maybe the other rooms are better. I hope so.

This place is a real DUMP. Service, arrived at about 12:30am, rang the doorbell with no response, again, again and again. After 10 minutes standing in the rain, about to leave, I hear scurrying inside. Quickly checked in, and was pushed right back out the front door, to escort myself to the unwanted step child hotel down the block. Walk up to the second floor with my heavy bag into a dingy old room. TV didn't work, nasty carpet, cracking tile, springy mattress, ewwww. BREAKFAST,,,,, was make it myself from the plastic wrapped stale croissants left in my fridge. Swear to the hotel gods, it was a do it yourself breakfast. Great location, so it gets one star. Stay away from this dump.

Very happy with this place, great location and price , very clean and quiet . The Polish girls and guys running this place are pros, on top of everything. Would certainly stay here again , its very close to Buckingham Palace, Paddington Station and other attractions.

It's really cute and in a nice, safe neighborhood. It's a bunch of homes that they bought up and converted into a B&B, so it's definitely a little quaint, but still very charming. It's only a couple blocks away from Victoria Station, a block away from the post office and down the street from some really cute cafes and a cupcake shop. The staff is nice and very accommodating. There's complementary breakfast in the morning and I really like that there's a laptop in the lounge for the guests to use for free. Made it very easy to check-in for my departing flight! The only problem that I really had was with one employee. I think his name was Asim. I only stayed at the hotel for a few days, and by the second, he said to the friend I was traveling with that he noticed I never come down for breakfast. She told him it's because I'm a late sleeper. Maybe half an hour later he came up to my room and asked if there was anything he could bring up for me. At first I thought this was just the B&B trying to take care of its guests, but when he kept lingering and insisting after I told him, "No, thank you," multiple times, I got very uncomfortable, especially since I was up in my room alone. He then asked me what I was doing for that day and then asked me if I wanted to get coffee with him. I told him no thank you and eventually he left and I was able to continue getting ready for my day. And as if that weren't enough, I ended up running into him on Oxford Street the next day. Part of me went into a bit of mental panic, wondering if he was following me, unlikely as that was. He greeted me loudly and gave me a hug. VERY inappropriate, seeing as I was a guest at the hotel he worked at and he was still essentially a stranger. Once again, he asked me what I was doing and if I wanted to get coffee. I again declined, lifted my shopping bags and told him that I was actually on my way out of the area (luckily this was true.). He said, "I was thinking we could get coffee or something," a few more times until I managed to break the conversation enough to leave. I've never before experienced such creepy and inappropriate behavior from hotel staff in my life. However, I still want to stress that everyone else at B&B Belgravia was professional, helpful and kind. Even though I enjoyed my stay there, for the most part, I wouldn't go back again unless I knew that man didn't work there anymore.

I really didn't expect this, as it had been booked for me. I thought - Belgravia, going to be posh and stuffy but this was really boutique and modern, and actually pretty cheap compared to hotels down the road. They have real coffee, too - in the lounge - not instant. As a coffee-a-holic that makes a huge difference :) Free Wi-Fi too so I didn't even go to a Starbucks the whole time I was there. Room was nice and clean, fresh flowers for the wife, and a bit of exercise for me as there's no lift. That's probably the only down point, if you don't want to face all the stairs, you'll have to haul it (the staff can help but I was trying to be chivalrous). Good breakfast too, the room's a little small but I love the bridge over to the dining room and they never ran out of fod. All in all, would go back if I had to go into London again, regretted leaving.
