I have been loyal to BBQ for decades, even back in Korea where I only ate BBQ starting from my elementary school days. Since BBQ Duluth opened, I have never ordered from any other chicken brand for over five years. But my last three experiences have been nothing but disappointment. A couple of months ago, I wasn’t quite pleased with what I got, but I tried to understand because everyone has a bad day. The second time, I was shocked and truly sad, and for the first time I thought maybe it’s time for me to try another chicken place. Today I am beyond disappointed and extremely upset. The sauce was far too salty, the chicken had an unpleasant smell, and I was embarrassed to serve it to my friends. I brought two whole chickens for them but now I regret it because I wouldn’t even want to finish it myself. I really didn’t want to post a bad review, but the fact that I will be throwing away more than half of what I ordered leaves me no choice. BBQ needs to fix this quickly because the quality has gone seriously downhill, and loyal customers like me, who have supported you for years without ever looking elsewhere, are losing faith.

Food was excellent! Service was also great! My only complaint is they don’t let you order two different sauces when ordering a large order of boneless wings! Our server did tell us they’ll bring out the wings in two different plates but he didn’t tell us it would be more expensive this way! Nevertheless, food and service were both great so we will be back! Plenty of different sauce flavors to try! We had the honey garlic, soy garlic, secret sauce! All yummy but honey garlic was our favorite! Next time we will try ordering the wings tossed in extra sauce!

Had kimchi fried rice and honey garlic wings. Wonderfully flavorful. Chicken was juicy with a loud crunch and good mouth feel. Hostess was attentive and polite. New favorite 🥰

Very good fried chicken. Must try. Very crispy and light batter while chicken meat is still juicy, perfectly cooked and falls off the bone. Highly recommended.

I had to get my bbq chicken fix after making a bad choice going to a competing KFC joint with a color in their name (terrible!). Bbq is better but I feel the chicken here used to be crispier! The sauces are still so good! Soy garlic is still my fav. I'll note that they give you a drink for a 5* review, which I think is cheating the system and for that, I will give them only 4*.

We tried Gangjeong whole chicken and kimchi fried rice and it was sooo delicious 😋 Host is super nice and respectful too :) Will definitely come back again to try other chicken flavors!!!

Delicious food and great service. Attended to us quickly and noticed we dropped a chopstick and came immediately to give us a new pair. Got the fries, cheese sticks, cheeseling fries, and boneless secret sauce, everything was delicious!

My sister introduced me to this place and I absolutely LOVED it! I've never had Korean style fried chicken before or cheesling fries but I will most definitely be back again. The service was top notch, atmosphere was very casual/laid back which I really liked. Highly recommend.

This place is so so so good. The lunch special is incredible value but even outside of that it's just a great space and vibe.

Packed inside for dinner. Outside looks abandoned, not too much to the decor inside. Simple setup for serious chicken. They offer a couple beers on draft as well as bottle. The chicken ~ crispy skin, tender & juicy meat. Cheesling was a fav, Galbi & Honey Garlic were decent. Cheesling Fries were gobbled up. Service was kind & cordial, hustling during the rush.

Great food and quality. Food was hot and delicious! Will come again. Food was great and the atmosphere was great. Service was great and fast. Came around pretty often to our table.

Excellent chicken with a Korean twist. Great sides. good for take out of deliver. We order the original and half hot spicy in sauce.

Recently discovered Bb.q chicken and lovin' it! They offer Korean fried chicken and you can choose from Whole Chicken, Chicken Wings or Boneless. The chicken wings are absolutely delicious and HUGE. My favorite flavor is the Honey Garlic. I've also tried a couple of their side but my favorite is the fried dumplings. I'd suggest ordering take-out since dine-in service is actually pretty slow and they ran out of a lot of things. There's plenty of parking and I love that they're open until pretty late! Las alitas de pollo son absolutamente deliciosas y ENORMES. Mi sabor favorito es el de miel y ajo. También probé un par de sus sides, pero mi favorito son las dumplings fritos. Te sugiero que pidas comida para llevar, ya que el servicio en el lugar es bastante lento y se quedaron sin muchas cosas. Hay mucho estacionamiento y me encanta que estén abiertos hasta bastante tarde!

Got the galbi and it was fresh ,crispy and flavorful. The mozzarella sticks were crunchy with a great cheese pull.

I love bb.q's location in doraville but I must say I'm extremely disappointed in the quality served in Duluth. We ordered the half order of the soy garlic whole chicken, and we barely got any meat. It was supposed to come with 8 pieces of chicken, but some pieces were so small, I would barely count them as a piece. The chicken was also so fried beyond crispy that it was hard and difficult to eat. There was barely any meat on each piece, and the areas that were edible were hard to chew. Besides that though, we ordered the rose tteokbokki and that was good and pretty comparable to the doraville location's standard of quality.

I ordered using their online platform and it was ready as promised. There was a helpful lady managing the front and she was so kind offering radish and sauces. She wasn't greedy either. Asked me if I wanted the bigger container of radish or extra packets of sauce but I only wanted one. I'm not greedy. Overall, I will recommend and will come back to try other flavors! My food was fresh and delicious.

This bb.q location opened up not too long ago and it's been on my list to try for a while. Today, I finally had a free day so My wife and I decided to stop in for a late lunch. Here's some of my major takeaways: Ambiance - This restaurant is super spacious! It's an ideal location for any group size and they have good music and food review videos playing on multiple screens throughout the restaurant to keep you entertained while you wait. The restaurant itself was also extremely clean, which I appreciated. Overall, I would rate them a 5/5 here. Service - Now speaking of your wait, just know if you are going for the fired chicken you will have to wait for at least 20/25 minutes for them to prepare the meal. This time can be extended if they are extremely busy so keep that in mind. Luckily we weren't in a rush and didn't mind the wait. Yet, while we waited, the staff were extremely friendly and checked on us multiple times before and throughout the meal to make sure we were good. Because of the staff's attend to detail and transparency with the wait time, I would give them a 4/5 here. Food - my wife and I ordered two lunch specials at $13 a meal , which came with a set of 5 wings, fries, and a drink. I ordered the soy garlic flavored wings while my wife ordered the honey garlic flavored wings. The portion sizes were definitely worth the price and the wings look just how they look on the menu! Now as far as taste goes, we both enjoyed the flavors of our wings, but if I had to recommend a flavor to get I would go with the honey garlic. I felt like it was more bold and more flavorful than the soy garlic - which was a bit more faint and not as strong as I would have liked. The only other slight issue I had regarding the wings were the sizes. Let me just manage expectations and let you know that Korean fried chicken wings are not like American wings, you can't expect to get all flats or for them to be the same size. As a result, my wings did come in different sizes and enjoyed the taste and texture of the smaller size wings more than the larger ones, which is a personal preference and not a reflection on how the food was prepared. As for the fries, they were standard fries and but could have been seasoned a bit more. And with drink, it only looked like you could order a soda with the lunch special, but there may be an option to change that for an additional fee if you ask. From that experience I would give them a 3/5 here. Overall, our experience at the location was great! I certainly would come back to try different flavors of wings and even some of the rice bowls they offer. If you're a fan of Korean fried chicken and are in the area, I would definitely recommend stopping in and grabbing a bite!

Our service was great. The gentleman working our front was very kind and attentive, and at the end of our meal even took time to stand and talk with for a bit about everything and nothing at all! Really nice guy! The food was delicious. It was all hot, fresh, and well made. Chicken was super crispy and the Tteokbokki was SPICY. Loved it! Music was pumping and they had kpop on the TVs, so just it'll likely be a bit loud.

I visited on a Friday night. They were really busy and took a while before my group was seated. There was only 1 person taking order that night. We ordered 2 orders of fries, Rose Ddeok-Bokki, 2 spicy and 1 regular Galbi wings and a couple of sides of radish. Everything was delicious. (Please dip the fries and wings into the Ddeok-Bokki. You won't regret it). If you're looking for some delicious Korean wings, this is definitely the spot.

I love this chicken place so fucking much holy shit. one bite and i just kept eating and eating my party ate 2 whole chickens it's unusually juicy in the best way possible, maybe some sort of secret korean frying technique i recommend 10/10 my server nestor made me feel so taken care of and would always accommodate for me i'm going again next week!!

We've heard about this spot, so when we went into town we had to try it. We ate right before coming here. So we just wanted to taste the chicken. It was like an Asian Wing stop or something. Service was quick and easy, they were helpful about explaining the menu to us. The chicken was great! It was so crispy and I liked the fact that it wasn't drenched in sauce. They did give us spicy sauce to dip in. I do wish that that had smaller portions or that we could split the flavors so we could try more flavors without having to order two large orders. I do wish we had a spot like this in town. I'd definitely go back.

We came on Sunday around 4p and it was mostly empty inside so our party of 12 had no issue being seated. The staff was so friendly and patient with us as we chose what to get My husband and I ended up choosing cheeseling wings, wings of fire and rose ddeobokki with cheese Our friends got honey garlic wings, spicy galbi, mala ddeobokki and we were able to try some of each. Our favorite flavors are the honey garlic for me and cheeseling for my husband. The cheeseling on the fries were A+ and honestly all fries should come like that All of the wings were so crispy and tasty and I ended up getting a second rose ddeobokki to go because it's that good. So creamy, flavorful, perfectly chewy. I've had it once before at another location and have thought about it since so this did not disappoint! There's plenty of parking in the lot and don't be thrown off by the olive chicken sign like I was! Perfect for a small or large group

My families Go to Spot for Korean Wings! They always come out FRESH AND HOT and taste AMAZING! Soy Garlic is our go to and we tried the Gangnam Style this time for something new and they were DELICIOUS! My fiancé doesn't do spicy so the Jalapeños intimidated him at first but the wings are sweet, savory with a hint of spice at the end but not overpowering. So good! Fries are always spot on crispy on the outside with a soft interior, and the service is always Great! They're attentive and have call buttons in their booths if you need anything you just press a button.

The skin was crispy, glazed to perfection, and the meat was so tender and juicy. The smoky flavor really hit the spot. Tteokbokki was super good too! Place is very spacious and staff was friendly as well.

Everyone raves about Korean fried chicken being the best so I said let's give this place a shot. Pulling in the parking lot I was a little confused as the area is very deserted. I thought we were in the wrong plaza as it looked like the whole plaza was out of business. These little small restaurants are always the best! The food here was so Good and let me tell you about the Kimchi fried rice!!!! Now that was delicious! Usually, I don't care for kimchi fried rice but I have to say theirs here is hands down the best I EVER had it goes perfectly with the chicken. I will definitely be adding this place to one of my favorites places to eat at

Soy garlic chicken. Bomb dot com. Get it. Rose ddeokbokki was superrr spicy to me but I'm a weenie. It was delicious and even though I knew the punishment would be swiftly forthcoming and painful, I couldn't stop eating it. I got the pickiest nine year olds to try it, and they couldn't get enough of it (NOT SPICY ENOUGH for them though).

The fried chicken is PHENOMENAL! Best chicken spot in Duluth. The kimchi fried rice is to die for!

I love bbq olive chicken so I had to go while staying in Duluth. I ordered the secret spicy boneless chicken. The food came out very fast which was nice because I was hungry! The restaurant played an eclectic mix of Korean pop music which I enjoyed listening to. I was a little sad because the chicken was not evenly covered in the sauce as I normally get it. But the food was good as always and service was pretty quick. Would recommend!

A hard 2.5. No Koreans in vision every time this place gets visited, that probably tells you a lot on the current status. The chicken pieces got way too small, wouldn't fill a terrible 3 yo's stomach. The sweet & spicy sauce is now way too sweet with extra syrup; the cook or the owner must went through a change. Rather would go to the Doraville or Suwanee location than this if the drive was not too far. No bueno job, bb.q. You gotta work it.

Their chicken taste worse than Publix bagged fried chicken. I don't understand how people flock to this restaurant. Chicken wasn't crispy at all and the sauce, their Special Secret Sauce or whatever was nasty as hell.
