bb.q Chicken Schaumburg

We came to bb.q on a Friday afternoon and were seated promptly. Love the call button. We ordered both boneless and traditional wings. They are so delicious. Wings are big, meaty, juicy, and crispy! Lots of flavor. Pickled radish is a nice cool down. Fries were super crispy and tasty. Server forgot our rice, caught her mistake and didn't charge us. Atmosphere is a bit generic, but food and service make up for it.

I definitely like their lunch special that they have everyday. They offer either a rice bowl or a boneless chicken meal with fries and a drink. Reasonably priced I think. The food took a while, but it came out hot and fresh out of the fryer. The french fries were crispy and the boneless chicken was juicy. The rice bowl was okay. Would I get it again? Probably not. I was not a huge fan of the sauce that the rice bowl came with, but the chicken tasted good.

10/10 My absolutely favorite chicken spot! It always hits! Their chicken wings are big and crispy and the sauce is so delicious. Their kimchi fried rice is so good, I get it without the cheese and add and extra egg.

Stopped in for a late dinner, good service and we were attended quickly. We had the boneless wings since they were out of the whole chicken and bone in wings. We tried soy garlic & spicy galbi and they were tasty! They were both crispy and good flavors. Food was great, only complaint is the restaurant was uncomfortably hot. My girlfriend and I decided to take the food home since it was so warm inside.

I ordered Ddeok-Bokki with cheese, but to be honest, it tastes well without it. The sauce is slightly sweet and has a pleasant spiciness. I also included the original golden wing (bone-in). It's really crispy, but I don't enjoy the aftertaste. I'm not sure if it's from the bread crumbs or the oil. It reminds me of sesame.

The place was very clean and I like that they have a bar. Drinks were priced well and I really liked the atmosphere. The wings were good but very overpriced at 27 dollars for 16 wings, considering their small-to-average size. When I come back, I plan to try the ramen, fries, and an appetizer (which actually comes to the same price altogether as 16 wings does alone). We had 3 different flavored traditional wings. There are some unique sauce options that will cater to niche customers and much more variety of sauces compared to similar places like Bonchon. If you are someone seeking new wing flavors, the choices at bb.q Chicken may be what you have been searching for. It's also a great place for a couple to have a late night drink and share a light bite together.

Food was OK. Didn't like how sweet the spicy galbi sauce was, couldn't really taste any of the savory or smokiness the flavor description said it had. it just tasted like spicy Chinese sesame chicken sauce. Sweet potato fries tasted good but we're soggy. probably a combination of it being stuck with the steam in a takeout container and its own oil. Probably will taste a lot better if u order these when dining in. They use chicken breast meat for the boneless. Will probably return to try other flavors.
