We came down because we were craving wings. We weren't expecting anything major, but wow did everything blow us away. The atmosphere is friendly and the music choices were perfect. Most importantly, the food was absolutely delicious. There is a bit of wait for the food because everything is freshly fried, but I promise you the crunch is worth the wait. We got the cheese and mala wings, and although they were delicious on their own, compining the two was a bursh od flavor I'll never forget. I 100% recommend. 👌

recently tried BBQ Chicken, and I was genuinely impressed. The chicken was perfectly crispy on the outside while remaining juicy and flavorful inside. I especially loved the Golden Olive flavor — the batter was light and had a subtle garlic touch that made it stand out. The portion sizes were generous, and the variety of flavors on the menu is a big plus. The spicy ones pack a punch, so be ready if you’re into heat. I had a terrible experience at BBQ Chicken. We ordered dine-in fried chicken and paid for it in advance. However, after waiting for 30 minutes at the restaurant, our food still hadn't arrived. The reason? The staff forgot who ordered our meal and assumed we had left, so they didn't bother to make it. I understand mistakes can happen, but regardless of whether they thought we left, we had already paid for the meal. They should have made it regardless. Extremely disappointing service and lack of responsibility. I won't be returning.

We ordered the Golden fried chicken- it was light, crispy and piping hot off the fryer. Ddeok-bboki was spicy and delicious, the Hot Spicy wings were big and juicy. All are made to order so they come out steaming hot. Service was ok, but can still be improved. My main concern is the restaurant itself. I almost turned back as soon as I stepped inside. Not a fan of the strong sewer smell. Inside temperature was quite unbearable- midway through the meal, I was sweating like I was working out. I had to break out my folding fan. IMHO it would be better to just get take out. Free 90 minute shared parking for all the other businesses in the plaza

This chicken was so good. Made to order so expect a wait but it’s so worth it. I was a little overwhelmed with the amount of flavors but Farhan was very nice and described the flavors to help me decide. Very nice guy, offered me a cup of ice water while waiting. I will be back!

I recently tried the BBQ chicken here and was really impressed. The chicken was juicy, flavorful, and had just the right amount of crispness. The sauce was tangy and slightly sweet, which paired perfectly. Portion size was generous! Overall, a solid spot for wings! – I’ll definitely be coming back!

Korean fried chicken?? YES PLEASE!!!! What did we order? Spicy galbi wings, honey garlic wings, kimchi fried rice & bulgogi poutine. I honestly loved the batter of the chicken, so full of flavor. Wings were not just flavorful, also crispy on the outside and succulent and tender on the inside. As for the kimchi fried rice and bulgogi poutine, the portions were both ginormous. We were worried that the food might not be enough, but we were wrong. Def shareable! Kimchi fried rice was so flavorful & I liked the idea that they added shredded cheese, kimchi, and bulgogi on the tater tots. They tasted good with the wings and beer. Downside? I wish the chicken wings could be spicier and cheaper lol. I mean, almost $2 for a small chicken wing? Oh well. The spicy galbi wings had a nice kick but not as spicy as we were expecting. Also, the cheese on the poutine def needed to be melted. All in all, good chicken! Korean fried chicken is such a guilty pleasure. So high in calories but so worth eating!

Really delicious fried chicken, and the best boneless fried chicken around. The boneless is real whole pieces of chicken, not like shredded and shaped like most other boneless "wings". The Spicy Galbi was a great balance of flavor and a bit of heat, and the honey garlic was similarly balanced flavors and both were wonderfully crispy. Also, very surprised that the (kinda pricey) fries were perfect. Best french fries I've gotten in a loooong time. Perfectly crispy outside, soft inside, and salted just right that they are flavorful but don't taste "salty". The smallest size is 8 pieces, which doesn't seem like too much but they're good sized pieces so be prepared to eat or have leftovers with any sized order!

bbq chicken is always consistent with their chicken -- the taste and crunchiness is really nice. i lov to order the original and soy garlic flavors. and the radish yommm we came on a wednesday evening and it wasn't too busy. plus the staff are friendly and funny!

I have been here quite a few times in the past and wanted a late night snack as the sign and yelp says it is open until 10pm. I walked into the restaurant at 8:45pm and was immediately told that we couldn't dine in. Weird.. but ok, I don't want to ruin my night and I ordered for to go. The food was ready by 9:10pm and I asked for extra napkins - they told me there were some inside my bag already and didn't give me any extra napkins (1 piece of napkin was in there.. for 16 pieces of chicken). Fine.. whatever. I was hungry so I sat down for a minute and opened my box to eat one piece of chicken. The employee then comes to my table and aggressively starts stacking up all the chairs on my table without saying a word to me - basically kicking me out. This was at 9:15pm. The restaurant was literally still with a lot of customers waiting for their food too! It wasn't as if they were gonna close due to not having customers.. Food is always good 5/5. The customer service tonight is 0/5. If you do not want your customers to dine in after 9pm, please state that you close at 9pm and do not mislead us by saying you close at 10pm. Or at the very least clearly put a sign that says no dine in at 9pm

Came here for dinner and got the Gangnam Style, Honey Garlic and Spicy OG. Very yummy wings my favorite is the the Spicy Original. Has a nice crunch to it and the spice is on point! The Gangnam is good too has a sweet and mild spice. I am not a fan of the honey it's just dimensional in my opinion- it's just sweet. The workers are very attentive and friendly. Will definitely come back.

Soy garlic is the best here. Wings were fried to perfection and coated nicely. Wings were meaty and definetely worth the price tag. It is a plus that their radish comes complimentary with each order!

I luv this location ! I drive out of my way to get chicken here . The chicken pieces are bigger ! The staff are great too ! (Don was very cool today.) I got the 8pp Gangnam style boneless this time. It had a great flavor and was recommended by Don Many choices of flavors for your chicken Food came out hot and juicy as I expected . Easy in & out restaurant for a quick bite. * parking can be difficult , especially at high meal times because it's located a mini mall , corner of Rosemead/LasTunas.

The food was delicious and came piping hot and fried to perfection!! First time trying their cheesling fries and it was so yummy, the cheese dust was flavorful, along with the crispy fries ? So addicting. The Gangnam was good it kinda reminded me of the Boston lobster's lobster noodles ..LOL it had like a pepper salt taste that paired well with the jalapeños. Our server was so nice and very accommodating, props to them bc they managed to give good service while being the only one working with an almost full house! My whole family enjoyed the meal.

A great chain in Korea that just does not deliver in the states. I first had bb.q chicken years ago when it opened in Alhambra. It was very underwhelming so I did not try again. Fast forward and I went to Korea where bb.q chicken was literally one of the most crispy and tasty fried chickens I have ever had. That is when I decided to give the Temple City location a try and unfortunately, it was not a good experience. The service to get the chicken is very long. If you order in person, they will have a sign that will let you know 15-30 min wait so I would suggest calling in for to-gos. The wait would be okay if the chicken was crispy and tasted fresh. However, you'll be hit with a very soft crisp that makes you crave something more. Unfortunately, the long wait, mediocre taste, as well as a pretty high price has turned me off to bb.q chicken in the states which is a same because it was so good in Korea. Did not eat in, but it looks like a pretty casual chicken joint to hang out.

The chickens here were made fresh so there was a bit of a wait, about 15 minutes. The batter was a bit too much on the fried chicken but the secret sauce flavor was good. We also got the cheesling fries and it had a lot of seasoning on it which I liked.

I was introduced to this place after trying tons of Korean chicken places and I love this chain the best. I was used to getting the usual of Garlic Soy but became a big fan of their OG flavor. There's something about their chicken that is the perfect amount of crispness and juiciness. I'm glad that boneless and wings are the same pricing vs other places. Both are great when trying both. I recently trade their Cheesling and the rose ttebboki and was a bit sad that I missed out on this place all these years. The restaurant is relatively small and doesn't have tons of seating. I recall seeing about 6-7 tables? With 4 chairs per table. Wings are pretty pricey nowadays but with the quality and consistency here, I would come back many times.

I've been to bb.q chicken at the Alhambra location but my first time here. Found out that bbq didn't stand for barbecue but rather best of the best quality, pretty wild stuff. Anyways we got a bunch of wings with a bowl of rice on the side. All the wings were super crispy and really can't go wrong with any of them. Personally I really enjoyed the tenders with the cheesling sauce. I feel bb.q chicken has the best Korean chicken wings in town because of their crispiness and vast assortment of flavors that you can choose from. This location isn't too much different than the others that I've been to. Great service and overall delicious food.

This bbq Chicken location is my go-to for when I want Korean fried chicken. I have tried more than half of the menu already. The chicken is always served hot and crispy. Even though there are so many chicken flavors, my favorite is still the classic soy garlic. The honey garlic and secret sauce flavors would be next in line. Galbi is sweeter than I would prefer and Gangname Style has too much black pepper, whereas soy garlic has just the right amount of savoriness. One flavor that I do not like is cheesling, which is made with cheese dust instead of a sauce. It is too dry for me personally. Other than chicken, there is also a small selection of Korean food and side orders. I enjoy their Ddeok-Bokki, Kimchi Fried Rice, and Bulgogi Poutine. All of them are delicious, but the Rose Ddeok-Bokki is probably the best. The rice cakes are chewy and the sauce is very creamy. I have been here plenty of times and have never been disappointed with the food or the service. Did you know that the bbq in their name actually stands for "Best of the Best Quality"? Well it's true! You'll only get high quality chicken from here.

Got cheeseling wings and golden original wings. Love the ambiance and surrounding. Service is great. The server was very informative and helpful. Definitely a good late night snack to place.

Finally tried this place after driving by it so many times and it didn't disappoint. We tried the honey garlic, Gangnam style and original spicy. The batter was nice and crispy and the service was great. Food came out reasonably fast too. The French fries could be crispier for my liking but it was a good portion for a side dish. Parking in the plaza is plenty and free. Will definitely come back.

So I stopped in here based upon a review from a fellow elite and they were pretty spot on in their review of the flavor. I wanted to order the 16 piece wings and split it between two flavors. But noooo you have to buy two 8 wing servings and spend an extra 3 bucks to do that. So that's why I am NOT giving five stars and struggling with 4 due to the HIGH PRICES! I spent about $46 for 16 wings, some fries, and a lemonade. I almost fell over when he told me how much. Once I received my order, the spicy original was a bit too spicy. I should've opted for plain original just to get the taste. But it was good and crunchy and flavorful. And my fellow reviewer was right. The chicken was not greasy at all. The fries were really good too. Well seasoned with a light batter and crispy on the outside while still being soft and not dried out within. The strawberry lemonade was good and not too tart. But it was a small cup filled with ice for almost $4. But OMG! The Gangham style was delicious!! It "almost" made me forgive the pricing. I will definitely return and try other flavors when I feel like breaking the bank again. Oh...they also get a plus for their packaging. Really nice sturdy packaging with vents so that the chicken won't steam on the way home. Sorry for the pictures. I was eating in my car and it's small in there.

This was our second time visiting a store from this chain. This time we got the Red Chak Chak Whole Chicken bone out. Last time we got the golden original whole chicken bone in. Both were excellent. The chicken is lightly fried and cut into different pieces than American chicken. For the Chak Chak powder seasoning, we got it on the side and dipped the chicken in it because it is pretty spicy. It tasted like the flavor used on popcorn chicken. It was great to be able to control the level of spiciness yourself. They have fries which we tried and they were fine, but the chicken is much better with rice. Parking is not a problem. The only issue with the whole chain is that they quote you 15 min, but it consistently takes 30 min for them to prep the food (others have told us the same thing on their visits). This is not a problem, just call ahead like we did the second time and allow 30 min to get there and your food will be ready.

The radish pickles were hard to chew and swallow. The chicken is only good outside but the inside has not so Much taste. I like bbq from other branches. Hope you can improve and be as great and yummy as others to keep up franchise consistency.

Food is made to order the wait is long (about 40 minutes and that's with my party being the only order. The wings are pricey and to me not worth it. I think the flavors are overwhelming (tried garlic and a spicey korean one). Texturally it's good nice and crunchy. The cashier is nice and helpful to help with deciding the flavor decisions.

I ordered food here for dinner to go. I ordered online and picked it up at the store. I did have to wait a while for the food to be ready, maybe around 20 minutes. The restaurant was quite big and decorative. They even had a photo booth and some accessories. My to-go order came in a box with a side of pickled radish. The chicken pieces were big and it was the perfect amount of sauce. I don't like my chicken wings to be too saucy, so this place had the perfect amount of sauce and flavor. I'd order from here again and would try other flavors too.

This is our first time here and we definitely will be back. The wings and flavors here put Bon Chon chicken to shame. Our server (Red) was a sweet and animated young lady that has tremendous personality. The ambience is chill. While you may feel it takes some time, it is so worth the wait because they cook every order when it's placed. We had Honey Garlic wings and Gangnam Style wings and Kimchi Fried Rice... DELICIOUS Don't be shy come on down and give them a try. Sorry the pictures were when everything was almost gone but it was too good to take pictures from the get-go. There was nothing left after these pictures lol.

Bussin Korean fried chicken! Though on the pricier side, it is still one of the my favorite Korean fried chicken spots. I wish they had the option to mix flavors instead of 30 pieces of one flavor. (I think they do have a mix flavor option but they're already pre decided which flavors with which). Aside from their wings I like to get the rose tteoboki which is also very buss. I always order online but one time I got a cute drawing on my container saying to enjoy my meal so that was nice. Located in a big plaza that can be very busy on weekends.

This is my 3rd time dining here and it's been a great experience each time. I always order the Golden Original half chicken since I prefer it more than the saucy flavors. My girlfriend usually gets honey garlic wings and it's delicious as well. For sides we recommend the rose tteokboki and cheesling fries! Service is great and we enjoy listening to kpop as we wait!
