Love coming here for burnt ends! Delicious & worth the price. Ashley is very kind & makes the experience that much better. :) Definitely check out their bread pudding for a lil something sweet if it's available!

I hadn't been here since becoming a mom, it had been a while & wanted to revisit old stomping grounds when I saw there was family bingo. Great food & great service! Bingo was a great time as well, we will definitely be visiting more often!

We had such a great time here! The food was incredible—perfectly smoked barbecue with amazing flavor, and the sides were just as delicious. The atmosphere was relaxed and family-friendly, and the staff made us feel so welcome from the moment we walked in.

We were here with a large group for lunch today. Everyone was very pleased with their meals. Our server was GREAT and got our food to us quickly. Very large lunch portions with the opportunity to take home samples of their 6 different sauces. Great selection of beer specials every day.

This was Yummy! I'll definitely be coming back when im in the area. I've been to a whole bunch of BBQ places and this was right up there with my favorites. We had the 3 meat plate with Brisket, pulled pork, and ribs. Sides were baked beans and coleslaw. Our server Ashley was super attentive and kind.

I loved it here. Food is my heaven, and this place was out of this world! Their BBQ sauces to die for! Everything here was amazing. Staff was efficient and very pleasant. A lot of parking space and enough seats to sit and relax for a while wasn't crowded for a Saturday night! I'm definitely coming back here to try more. No complaints here, delicious chefs kiss

The brisket was dry and the Mac & Cheese 🤢 I really had high hopes for this place. I ended up at smoking BBQ on 45 for more Brisket.

If you’re a sauce person like me you’ll love the selection of unique BBQ sauces representing all the BBQ regions of the country. The disappointment was the tea. A BBQ place that doesn’t brew their own tea should be outlawed. Fountain tea doesn’t cut it for me. All else about our experience was worth returning.

My family and I are visiting the area and so glad we stumbled across this restaurant! The service and food is top notch! Our server, Dani, was the sweetest. Very attentive, personable and offered great suggestions on food selection. The food was excellent. The ribs and brisket were falling off the bone! The pulled pork nachos, delicious! If we lived here, we'd be frequently stopping in! Highly suggest you try it!

I feel like the flavor of the ribs has gotten iffy. I was here at lunch time. Half slab with slaw and fries. I feel like the slaw was the best part. Well that and the service. Super friendly and helpful. I don't sauce my ribs as I want to taste the meat and the rub. But the meat was thin and dry. Almosr..shall I say. Tough. The fries were inedible so much salt...maybe they misunderstood crispy to mean "make my mouth feel like a desert" slaw was 5 stars. I'd say a downgrade and not worth the trip I made.

I rarely find myself up this way but did on a random Saturday. Stopped in to watch the Iowa game and have a late lunch/early dinner and drinks. Excellent drink specials. Craft beer pints for 4 bucks. Started with smoked chicken wings with the dry rub. Excellent. I wish mine tasted this good at home when I smoke them. Had a two meat combo (brisket and burnt ends). Both solid. The Mac cheese is awesome. Fresh cut fries awesome. Smaller Place with a large bar but definitely worth the stop. Can't forget - service was outstanding. Super nice servers.

Great service the moment we stepped in. They were so kind and welcoming. The brisket was so tender and juicy. The sauce i used ( they have 5-6 house made sauces) the sweet and spicy sauce, which paired perfectly. Tiny tiny kick with the nice tangy sweetness. I also tried their ribs, which were just melting in the mouth.

They bbq was good. I also checked in to get $5 off my meal. No I didn't switch to Geico.

I had shrimp salad my husband had half slab of ribs with delicious cornbread and fries. We both shared pizza rolls. Everything was phenomenal. We had a fabulous bartender. She was amazing. Looking forward to going back soon. This place was perfect for a weeknight date night.

wonderful little bbq spot in third lake, up in the grays lake area. just wanted to find a good lunch spot for myself and some friends. luckily one of my buds stumbled across this bbq restaurant and we decided to come here. the interior is your classic bbq/sports/country home style vibes. well staffed and decorated very nicely. restaurant is clean, staff is beyond friendly, and all the ambiance is perfect. music ain't too loud and the TVs aren't that obnoxious so it's a good spot to eat with friends or even come to watch some sports. i went with the burnt ends with sweet potato fries and smoked gouda mac and cheese. all 3 were a great choice. lovely place and definitely would come back!

Best bbq place in lake county! It's my go to place! Get the nachos or the Mac and cheese with pulled pork. You won't regret it.

This was outstanding barbecue. The burnt bacon ends were awesome. The sweet potatoes fries were super crispy and just the right blend of sweet and salty. And I can't for get to mention the ribs! Perfect!

I had an all around great experience at this spot! The brisket nachos & assortment of sauces were phenomenal. The server Dani was really helpful & made sure everything was taken care of. I definitely recommend you pass by asap

The staff is so very friendly and knowledgeable. Parking is great. The place is spacious and clean. The bar was lacking good options. The food was sub-par and expensive. Brisket was dry and not hefty enough for the $11 price they charge. Brussel sprouts with bacon side had no bacon, no flavor, and they were like rocks. I was really hoping for better!

Cozy little spot and perfect place to cool off with a cold beer. The food was absolutely delicious! We started with the nachos and buffalo egg roll appetizer--simply wow! For our entrees, we had the burnt ends and hot link sandwich, while our kids enjoyed the Mac and cheese and burger. Every dish was a hit. If you're craving delicious barbecue with excellent service, I highly recommend this place. Our server, Ashley, was a gem, offering fantastic recommendations for mixing their BBQ sauces--impressive! Overall, the food was superb, and the service was even better. We'll definitely be back and enthusiastically recommend this spot.

BBQ'd Productions isn't too far removed from Real Urban BBQ or City Barbeque. My suggestion here would be to increase the portion size of the entrees and side dishes. But otherwise, the service is outstanding and it's a low-key and friendly atmosphere to meet a friend group. There's also six different varieties of squeeze bottle sauce at each table, so you can go to town adding some extra flavor. My favorite is the Sam Adams Boston Lager sauce. The appetizers just weren't it. Our nacho plate was full enough with toppings, but the chips themselves were stale. Their quesadillas are fine, a bit too greasy to fully appreciate. But of course, you are mainly coming here for the smoked meats. I rarely eat brisket, but these are bombastic burnt ends. So tender, meaty, and succulent. This place is a half hour drive from me. While I never would come here out of the blue, I am sold on meeting friends here again. Just with some tweaks to my next meal.

We had this catered for our wedding and still hear people commenting how great it was! They were extremely affordable, provided full service, and were easy to work with. We go back to dine in when we can, the food is just as good! We had Danielle today and she was great! Highly recommend

Excellent food and service. Had a great experience! Got the nachos and they were delicious. Sauces were top notch flavor, but you have to ask for the vinegar sauce. They have slot machines, I won!our waitress was friendly and didn't seem bothered that we were the last customers in the restaurant. Highly recommended spot for casual bbq.

The food is delicious, but Brisket. Tacos didn't have enough meat. They were like they scape the bottle of the pot or pan, it was stringing

So disappointed in BBQ Productions in Third Lake! Ordered a Grey Goose and tonic and was not informed that the tonic would be an additional $4.25 on top of the $10.00 drink as they don't have tonic on tap. Asked for the mananager and the manager told me that the owner doesn't allow him to take any charges off the bill. He was afraid of losing his job over $4.25 because his the fourth manager in as many months!! What is the point of having a manager if they can't make a customer happy! We spent over $150. Not sure if they are under new ownership but definitely won't be going back. No need to call my husband, it was my review not my husband's. It's unfortunate that a manager could not de-escalate the situation. No need to remove the the tip either. Hope it's a learning experience for the manager! Again, this has nothing to do with my husband or my husband's job and everything to do with how I was treated so leave my husband out of it!! Thank you!!

This is a semi-regular place for us and usually the food excellent but the last couple times it didn't hit the mark. The last time I ate there I ordered nachos and there were so many chips but all the cheese and toppings were on the top only. So I was left with a plate of plain chips and nothing to do with them. The manager came over to talk to me (restaurant was empty as it was late) and ask how the food was. I told her about the issue with the quantity of chips and only having toppings on the top layer. She said this was an issued that has been expressed before. I suggested they put toppings on every layer, she liked the idea and said she would pass it on to the kitchen. The food here is always fresh and flavorful. The restaurant is always clean and has lots of tvs to watch sports. The prices are reasonable and I would definitely recommend it.

Came in for lunch today and the food was fantastic. Jim was our bartender. He gave great service and was very friendly and polite. Definitely coming back again soon!

Great food, up and down on the service, most the time good but they evidently are having a hard time getting the right managers, most times the Bartenders are pulling double duty

Nachos are the best thing on the menu. Brisket was too fatty for me and too much smoke (had charcoal taste). Pulled pork sandwich is good.

Don't bother. Server was friendly, but food was extremely slow to come out of the kitchen. We were one of only 3 tables seated, otherwise the place was empty on a Friday night. The best thing about the food was the sauce. Bbq was dry and not fresh. Cornbread was like old formed cream of wheat.

Burnt ends were way over cooked. Dry and all flavor was from the excessive amount of rub. It tastes like they were cooked a few days ago and in a tray the tossed on the griddle to reheat. Maybe this is just how they are on a Sunday. Sauces, potato salad and server Hannah were great. Stay away from cheese curds they were over cooked rocks.

Ok good with a good atmosphere. The burnt ends were not up to par and chewy. I will give it a second try, because the people and service were great!

My partner and I came in after his games umpiring. We were originally going to get it to go but decided to dine in. Our server Quinton was great and very attentive. When I couldn't decide between the rib tips or pulled pork he suggested rib tips. These were some of the best rib tips I've had in a while. My partner had their Mac and Cheese with pulled pork. He is a Big Mac and cheese lover and said it was great! We also loved all of the different sauces! So glad that there is also another location closer to us. We will definitely try stopping in again if we are around the area.

Food was amazing, the portions of the Pork Ribs and 2 sides were definitely worth the $30. Service was amazing and the food came out much faster than I anticipated. Will definitely be back next time I'm in Gurnee!

Had bbq productions the other day and got the wings. They were amazing and perfectly cooked. The manager austin took time to explain the menu and even describe the different sauces and his recommendations did not disappoint. Forget the food we are coming back for the service!!!!

Have had this food many times. They are great for catering as well. The only reason I didn't give that elusive last star is because their staff (casting a broad net, not sure exactly who it was) didn't know the menu and ingredients when I asked about a food allergy. Welp, turns out what I asked about was in fact in the food and my husband had to toss most of his food. Great tasting food! The burnt ends are my go to. Eat in or take out, great food!

YUMMMY NACHOS!!! We had both the pulled pork and barbecue chicken nachos and they were so yummy. They looked amazing too. So much so that we forgot to take a picture (sorry). Ordered catering for family gathering. Communication with Deanna was excellent. She was quick to respond to queries via email and finalizing the menu and quantity details on the phone. Deanna delivered the order on time. Ribs, pulled pork and brisket were all packaged securely in aluminum foil pans that went directly from the delivery box to warming plates that we had set up. Everything was hot upon delivery and delicious! Family and friends raved about the meal. I'd order catering from BBQ'd Productions again without hesitation! Thanks!

Amazing barbecue and great sides tatter tots are the best side in my opinion and the service is amazing and so nice and the atmosphere is a little tense but very enjoyable its definitely worth it to eat here

I like the food and drinks. The servers are nice. The setting is comfortable. The owner is a gem. I mean this. He fed so many healthcare workers and first responders over the pandemic. He is always doing thoughtful things for others. This is a good human being.

If you like smoked BBQ, and haven't tried this place, do. With lots of meats to choose from, they also offer salads, bowls and sides to satisfy your herbivore companions, too. Oh, and did I mention many tap brews and full cocktail bar? The servers are friendly and work hard to make your meal a pleasure.
