First time eating here and it was decent. The food came out hot and the portion size would have fed two people. Catfish was average, but the shrimp, crayfish and oyster were very tasty. The meal was reasonably priced. The service was very good. Thank you for a very good first visit.

First time here and the place was crawfished on every table. The pleasant presentation when you walk in of all the fish was very pretty. Our waiter Heather was very friendly and loved her honesty on items on the meal. She was present and always checking on our table. She had our drinks refilled on point. GREAT SERVICE HEATHER. We definitely will be back.

We had the sweetest server named Averie! She was interacting with our group of 14 seniors. She was on it! The staff was helping out by running food and drinks. We asked her to have the music turned down. It was also a little chilly in there. She kept checking back and asking if we needed anything. We go out to eat at least 10 times a month. Just a side note, someone said something that may have hurt her feelings. She ordered what someone in our group pointed at on the menu. The manager didn’t come out but we wanted to let someone know, that Averie didn’t do anything wrong. She was worried about getting in trouble. We encouraged her to shake it off and don’t let anybody tear her down! Keep your head up Averie, you did an awesome job!!! 👏🙌🏼

First time at this location. I have had their seafood boils before and they are always really good. This time I ordered a Tex-Orleans style shrimp. One pound well seasoned and flavorful. They offer daily specials to members of their rewards program, which is free to sign up. I also tried their Sandia Rita or watermelon Rita. They were out of sliced watermelon so they gave raspberries instead. It has a subtle watermelon flavor, not so string either. It tasted like a skinny Rita I would say. It was good, something a little but different to try. I have to go back and try their THC infused drinks. They have plenty of drinks and food to choose from. Happy Hour specials as well. This location has plenty seating, a bar, and also a nice patio. Plenty of parking too. I recommend it.

I’ve been to this location plenty of times but never had to experience what I experienced Sunday. My family and I went for an outing and decided to get crawfish after church since BB’s was my favorite we came from Rosenberg the wait was pretty ok for outside seating. My daughter and I order 4 pounds of crawfish for 11.99 a pound only to discover that they were all baby soggy frozen crawfish when asked to speak to the manager (who was defensive about complaint) , he act as though he’s been dealing with this same complaint for a while now instead of allowing customers to know what they’re purchasing before they buy it like a crawfish sample or something and the waiter was the one who said that the crawfish was in season only for the manager to come back and say that the crawfish wasn’t in season on top of that what it felt like 40 minutes the manager claim was 22 minutes waiting for our food they didn’t bring my husband Caesar salad. The manager had to go and make it himself and bring it and then when I ordered something else because the crawfish was too small they took forever to make that so I basically feel like I spent $113 just for the heck of it because the service in the Food was not up to par.

So first time in Katy and this place is amazing. The food was well prepared and seasoned to perfection. Our server Heather made the experience well worth it with her kindness, attentiveness and awesome recommendations and good working knowledge of the menu. I've never had better service by far. Worth a great tip. Everything was delicious and the different flavors melded together beautifully. Will always recommend this place to anyone coming through.

This used to be my son’s favorite place to eat. Unfortunately, with the remodel and name change came changes to the food quality that left us unpleased. My son ordered the Mac and cheese. By far one of the best things on the menu. They have change the whole recipe. It was so watery and lacked any cheese flavor. They crawfish lacked the normal flavor and everything seemed so low quality and it was evident short cuts were taken. The only reason it got 3 stars is our server was a sweet heart.

I visited this location today, April 6. I ordered 5lbs of crawfish (citrus garlic), monster greens, and water. I visit this location a lot. Out of all the times I have been coming here, I only had one issue earlier in the year. Nothing to the point where I wouldn't have came back. But after today, I will NEVER come back to this location! 1st the food, was great. No complaints. Very flavorful and the temp was very hot. Crawfish was a nice size and wasn't overcooked. Monster greens were prepared good, too. Seasoning was just right. The service, HORRIBLE! I sat in the bar section, along the window to be exact. I sat there for over 10mins and no one even acknowledged me. Both of the bartenders seen me. I was turned facing them and they both looked me dead in the face. More than once I may add. One came out more than once and helped everyone else but me. One couple was by me. He asked if they were ok. Still said nothing to me. I am not the one who pulls the race card. However, I was the only black customer at the time. You're saying something to everyone else, but not me. I definitely felt a way. A white couple came after me and sat at the main bar. Who were kiddy corner from me. After 2,3 mins. You acknowledged them and to give you a moment. But you couldn't acknowledged me and I had BEEN sitting. That is a problem!! So, another waiter who wasnt even working the bar, came to help me. I said I was wondering when someone was going to help me. He told me he wasn't working the area and the bartender sent him over there. I understand people get busy. But if you can stand there, talk, and giggle with other workers and people..you can come and say something to me. I told this waiter this as well. Even if it was to say I am sorry and I will be with you in a moment. But noone said absolutely nothing. I am a very patient person. I feel I was blatantly ignored. I got my food. It took a very long time before anyone even came to see if everything was ok, if I needed anything. After awhile, a young lady came to ask me. I just asked if she could just bring my tab and another water. I did that because who knew when someone was going to come back and say anything to me. Let me just get what I need now. Anyways, in the midst of all this, another black couple came. They sat at the main bar right by the white people he did address. They sat there for so long without anyone saying anything, they left. If it isn't a race thing, fine. I can accept that. However, the service was trash . That was the impression I got, and I do not like how that made me feel. Because of that, I will never come back to this location. It is crazy how the customer is expected to leave a tip with that type of service. I am a very good tipper. But, don't expect anything when your service is trash! The ONLY reason I left any tip at all was because of the nice bus boy who emptied my bowl. To be honest, if it wasn't for him, I would not have left anything!

We were out and about and decided to have a late lunch. One of our choices was BBs Tex orleans. We were greeted immediately and could sit wherever we wanted. They had signs about construction but this was no issue. Heather was our waitress and she was amazing! She was friendly and super attentive throughout our meal. The place was not crowded. There were about 3 other tables of guests. We were originally doing the triple play with all boiled spicy shrimp but she told us they just changed it so we can't double up. No problem, we chose shrimp, snow crab and sausage. The plate also came with dirty rice. Excellent appetizer but the crab was small. The shrimp was delicious. I ordered shrimp and grits with collards. My husband ordered catfish and my son ordered redfish with etouffee. They were members of the clean plate club. I had leftovers. Heather got us to go boxes and made sure we had plenty of refills. I had nearly a full meal left because I ate a lot of shrimp and the rice. They also brought some chips and beans but I didn't eat it. Heather also made sure I registered for the rewards program and I needed to because I will be back. Wonderful meal and a great cost.

We sat outside in the nice spring weather. Service was attentive and on point. The food though.... The crawfish and crab special, was amazing. It was so flavorful and good. I don't like it when places just boil in old bay and call it a day. The best parts are all the flavors like citrus, garlic, and different veggies. BB's nailed it with a great flavor. We were all very satisfied. This place will get my money this spring again for sure!

We left the Tomball location due to them being understaffed. This location l was great, RED deserves a raise. He was very alert and extremely helpful. We eat at BB's on a regular but never received quality service like this.

This past Saturday, I was supposed to meet up with family for an event but I arrived in Katy an hour earlier than expected. So I went to BB's to pass the time and have a quick bite. I was expecting it to be busier for a Saturday but there were only about five tables occupied and a group of people sitting at the bar. This was a plus for me because I didn't have too much time to have to wait. As usual, I made a visit to the ladies room. It was clean. The toilet seat in the stall that I used, looked like it had seen better days! It was beat up and rough looking. When I went to wash my hands, only one of the double sinks were working. There was no sign posted stating that the one sink was out of order. By the time I got back to my table, it wasn't too long afterwards that my server, Heather, came to take my order. She was very friendly and had an upbeat personality. If she didn't want to be at work that day, I couldn't tell! Throughout my visit, she checked on me plenty of times. I never had to wonder where she had wandered off to. I asked for a water and placed my order from the Triple Play menu. Upon bringing the water back, she also presented me with a complimentary appetizer. It was red beans, andouille sausage, queso and pico de gallo served with tortilla chips. It was so good! However, the water had an odd taste but what should I have expected from tap water. My food came out in less than 10 minutes! Talk about quick service! I ordered the boudin link, garlic sausage link and crispy fried shrimp. It all came with a side of dirty rice which I wasn't a big fan of. To me, the rice was barely seasoned; almost bland but had a little pepper. Where the dirty rice failed, the boudin made up for it! Big time! The boudin link was spicy but not overpowering; great flavor! It's the kind of spicy that makes you sniffle but you keep eating because you can't get enough. It was so good that I wanted to eat the skin and all, lol! I got the sausage The Tex-Orleans Way. I think it may have been an Old Bay seasoning rub but I could have done without it. To my surprise, it wasn't that salty but it was hot! The fried shrimp was nice and crispy served with the most addicting tartar sauce,and a good cocktail sauce. I usually don't care for cocktail sauce but this one was good! I'm definitely going back to BB's soon! This Katy location is far from my home but I do have a BBs closer to me, YAY!! I have got to get my hands on the boudin again!

Can't be 5lb of crawfish for $30 and a twister drink during happy hr. Even during construction, they're serving up great drinks and delicious food. Can't wait to see the changes. Short out to Heather, my exceptional waitress

The service was phenomenal our server Herman was incredible! He has a smile on his face and makes you feel welcome, he's very attentive and takes care of us when we're there! the food is great love their seafood boil and crawfish!

Love the new look of the restaurant. Recently remodeled. Improved Bar seating. TV's up give it a sports bar feel. We typically sit at the bar, service is always fantastic. Try the shrimp and grits! The Shrimp Gumbo has a fabulous roux. They give you complementary chips and a red beans/queso dip to try. Big assortment on the build your own boil. Kids tried it with snow crab legs. Definitely advise using gloves they provide.

Definitely the place for crawfish! The second time the waitress we had was amazing and she told us about the rewards points, which I did not know about from our previous visit and that got me a free half pound of shrimp and one snow crab cluster with my crawfish. And then I also have a free fried pickle there next time just for signing up. I just got to say you should definitely try the edamame. We added that into our crawfish order and it was amazing. We went there for my son's birthday back in March. He wanted crawfish and crab. This place was recommended to us and they had some decent crawfish prices for Wednesday night special I want to say it was like 5 pounds for $30 or something. And the crawfish was really good. They do a good job of cooking them perfectly and they were great sized. And then they season them afterward as well so your hands get covered and all the flavor goodness. We also got some tray that came with snow, crab, and Dungeness crab and shrimp and some pineapple sausage that my husband is now obsessed with. I went back on a Saturday night with my mom and my sister. We went to a movie so it was almost 9 PM when we rolled up. Again the crawfish was amazing. I got 5 pounds for $39 which is still a really good deal compared to most places right now. my sister got some kind of Rockdale redfish (I think it was called) and it was very bland, even the sauce it was just kind of ehhhh. she said the green beans were amazing. She didn't share any of those with me ha ha. my mom ordered the red beans and rice and ended up sending them back. She's not used to having true Cajun style red beans where there's mushed. She likes her beans more like Charro as a broth, but I see she was saying it tasted like it was the bottom of the pot. It came out, and it looked very dry, she said that taste wasn't burnt, but it was what was left in the pot for sure. And we understand it was late so they're not gonna make a fresh red beans and rice for us, but she wasn't impressed with it. However, if crawfish is what you're looking for... Their Crawfish is some of the best! They do have an outdoor patio area. Only about four tables are covered. The rest is open air. And they do have what looks like a private room inside as well. The bathrooms have always been pretty clean. And the staff always been super nice from the time you walk in. They do have a bar that you could sit at although I've had their margarita and Ranch water and they were OK.

It's a bit heavy, but it's mighty tasty. The crawfish etouffee is a favorite of mine and pairs lovely with some hot sauce. The service is warm and kind and well deserving of their tip. My father ordered grits and shrimp and that was also lovely. Next time I'll try the shrimp po boy, but for now I'm giving it a solid 4 stars. Cheers!

Love coming here , food and service have always been great . Today was disappointing waited 45 mins for a drink and my prefer of crawfish was incorrect. The waitress was awesome and can't blame her , but BBs was please do better never have I ever returned food or waited for drinks this long . Also my tab was suppose to be 14 and got charged 58 $ , BBs live ya but please fix issues

Ordered. To-go order of crawfish and fries, the fries tasted like water with no seasoning. Crawfish was tasteless only tasted Cayenne pepper...had to add my own garlic salt to my takeout order. Crawfish was not cleaned properly and muddy just a 0/10 at least for this location. Seems like the crawfish wasn't purged or cleaned of mud. Whoever is cooking the crawfish needs to be replaced asap!

Redemption is always possible with restaurants. I have lived in this area for over 4 years and never tried this location. Well on today, I kept hearing a small still voice telling me to give this restaurant a chance. I am originally from New Orleans so when a restaurant considers themselves CAJUN then my antennas are up and ready to judge the level of authenticity. I was really unsure what I wanted to try but my heart kept tugging at a po'boy sandwich. If you know anything about the history of the po'boy sandwich in New Orleans than you know the most important ingredient is the FRENCH BREAD. Several restaurants use Kaiser Rolls, Traditional Bolillo, or Pistolettes. It does not matter how soft the bread is the crunch from Frech Bread mixed with Seafood of choice creates an experience worthy of the palate to escape the feeling of missing home and it's unique cuisine. I am the FIRST to ADMIT...........RUN to this place and order the po'boy sandwich. IT was absolutely mind blowing and extraordinary to my palate. The bread was so fresh. I requested a 1/2 shrimp and 1/2 catfish. Now normally it is half shrimp and oysters. The other surprise was it was shrimp and catfish on the whole sandwich. Chile you talk about HEAVEN ON EARTH. i WAS IMPRESSED and called all of my NEW ORLEANS FOLKS. It was hot, fresh, tasty and stuffed to perfection. Back home we had a restaurant called WE NEVER CLOSE and it was an overstuffed po'boy. Now I know it is hard and expensive to obtain fresh seafood. But it tastes like that caught it in the back of the restaurant straight out of the water because it was fresh and delicious. I need to also add it was really CATFISH and not SWAI. I prefer if restaurants would be honest and let it be my choice if want to eat SWAII instead of CATFISH. I cannot wait to go back. I cannot remember who took my order. I believe Matthew provided my curbside service. If that is not accurate than I have to say the gentleman who took my order and the gentleman who brought my food to my car were both courteous, patient and kind.

The best crawfish in Katy! Crawfish plus a Abita Rita! Our favorite waitress is Kat, she'll take good care of you.

The crawfish was SO good! If i rate this place solely on crawfish it would be a 5 Most places come with potato & corn included. Here you have to pay for everything extra. That i did not like since we are already paying a pretty penny. I must admit I LOVED the green veggies in the boil. It was extra spicy and delicious, i don't find greens anywhere so i was extra happy to have the option Out of season, i always get the empanadas which are superb. Otherwise food here is average.

I have never had a bad meal here! I love the Tex Orleans style boiled seafood and well as the seafood empanadas and boudin balls. I usually use their curbside pickup after work and the staff is very helpful. If you're dining in or getting food to go, get a mixed drink. Any one. They're all good.

This place used to be amazing. Food is way overpriced for the amount you get. In the past a platter was the same price but the portion sizes made up for it. They cut back on the portions apparently and the price is still high. $7 for a kids chicken nuggets - basically 1 nugget cut and 5 fries. Husband still loves the crawfish.

I was craving some red beans and rice! So I went in to this restaurant to place a togo order after work on Sunday January 5, 2025. Ask the front counter young lady and she said i can place an order at the bar for togo. I went to the bar and sat down with the menu for about 5 minutes. A young lady with dark long hair kept passing by and looking but never stopped to ask me if I needed help. A young man in a loud green shirt pass by me 3 times and never ask me if I had been helped. While looking at the menu I noticed red beans and rice was no longer on the menu. Then I thought well I will just order boudain balls and something else. Still no one has acknowledged me and I had been sitting at the bar for over 13 minutes at this point. So I looked up and no one was still offering me any assistance. I then got up after 18 minutes and LEFT. I will never go back to a BB's anywhere in the city!

Came here with my fiancé for HRW and we loved our experience! First off we got a warm welcome when we entered the restaurant. It was a bit slow inside so we got a lot of attention. Our service was very attentive to us and we got sat and served right away. We even got the manager come by our table to thank us for stopping by and gave us a coupon for a free appetizer or dessert on our next visit. They had a few TVs around the restaurant playing the football games as well. We both started off with the chicken andouille sausage gumbo bc we were craving a warm soup so badly. The portion was huge! we thought it would be a cup but it was a bowl of gumbo. The roux was slightly runny and not as thick as typical New Orleans style gumbo but still flavored well. Next we got the Cajun empanadas and smoked boudin link. There were so many empanadas!! And their avocado ranch is so good and complements the empanadas well. Then for the main course we got the shrimp and grits, and South American steak. Again the portions are HUUGE! We could not finish everything and took the leftovers home for a 2nd meal. The shrimp and grits were seasoned well and creamy and had a nice zest. Outside skirt steak was well cooked and seasoned without being over done. And we ended our meal with the famous bread pudding and butter cake. The butter cake was sooo decadent and rich. Very heavy dessert but it was amazing! And the bread pudding serving was massive! It was practically a brick sized dessert. But oh so good. We will be coming back for sure. Amazing experience!

I get BB's crawfish (3-5 pounds) EVERY Friday as my little treat for getting through the week of teaching. Last Friday I couldn't, so I decided to get it today. The difference in the quality on Monday's versus Friday is crazy! I ordered 5 pounds and couldn't even eat 3 total crawfish. The meat was literally crumbling when I peeled it, the meat was mushy, and it smelled extremely fishy. I am so upset because $50 for crawfish is a lot, and I just wasted that money. I could bet money that they gave me left over crawfish from the weekend. I wish they would be honest and say that aren't boiling today because I would have waited for fresh crawfish another day. I'm honestly so disgusted & upset that BB's would even feel okay to give a customer that type of quality food.

I do not know what has happened in the last month besides construction but tonight the food was sub par again. The crawfish ettoufee is the worst I have ever eaten. EVER!!! I had to send it back! The fried shrimp tasted like frozen Gortons or Captain Scully's. The boiled shrimp were good.

At one time this was our favorite place to go for Cajun seafood. I don't know what happened to them recently but the last couple of times we have been the food has changed drastically and not for the good either. Seems they are cutting back on quality and portions sizes. We had the Bedtime PoBoy and Oyster PoBoy with Gumbo. They use to come loaded to with Shrimp and Oysters that it would be spilling out of the PoBoys, not anymore. The shrimp was larger too back then and the bread fresh. Sadly to say that is not the case anymore. The bread was no longer the same French bread they use to serve, it was hard the oysters were over cooked. The gumbo was awful. I guess we have to find another place now. Sad to see this restaurant turn for the worse.

We love BBs, but the last time we went, we noticed the other patrons were getting larger crawfish and larger Crab than us so this was not pleasing. We will be back once product gets a little bigger.

At 1st walk in 2:30 on a Saturday several dirty tables (took about 30 min as we sat ourselves for them to be cleaned up) the poor pregnant waitress appeared as she had been only one waiting since opening. The Texas Twister way too sweet and they wouldn't box and seal for me to go as restaurants in the area so that was a waste of $12. I will say the fried pickles were the best we have had crispy light breading and yummy! The shrimp po boy was decent the bead was nice and thin. Saw the eat local Tx this morning of the one in Houston probably should have gone there not Katy. Will we return probably not.

We stopped by on a Thursday evening for family dinner. It took a while to be seated as there was no one at the hostess stand. Once we were finally greeted, the server gestures for us to pick our own table. It took a while for our food to arrive. I do believe our waitress was training another server which may have delayed service. When the appetizers came out we had to ask for plates and silverware. The complimentary chips and chili cheese queso is new and yummy. The kids portions are very small for the protein. We had kids shrimp, chicken strips, and corn dogs. Ended up having to order extra food for our child. The blackened boudin link was delicious. The seafood platter would have been perfect had the fried fish had more flavor. We love the updates that were made but do think the seating is still tight. Will return during crawfish season.

First time eating here. There were three of us. Two had crawfish etouffee and one gumbo. The dishes were very good. Price was acceptable. It was a nice neighborhood eatery, service was good. Would highly recommend.

We arrived @ 5pm on a Saturday night. There was a waitlist and we were seated within 25 min. We ordered pretty quickly and sat for a FULL HOUR waiting on our food. 4 ppl ordering crawfish & salad. Tables were coming, eating & leaving while we sat & waited. It is clear that Mgmt has a BIG problem managing! Corporate needs to come in and help this location!

Five Stars for this establishment! My husband and I were extremely skeptical about trying this location out because of a bad past experience with the BB's Tex in Cypress! However, the Katy location was an entirely different dining experience! We were completely satisfied! First, the hostess at the door was a very welcoming and friendly young lady who greeted us with a warm smile. She asked us if we preferred a table or a booth! I was so shocked because the hostesses at other restaurants never ask for our sitting preferences! I gave them two stars alone just for how considerate and welcoming the hostess presented herself. We requested a table and were lead to a nice and clean table and the floor underneath the table was clean as well! I noticed that the establishment was pretty clean as we were being lead to our table. My eyes quickly roamed around the building checking for cleanliness, one of my biggest pet peeves. Their floors and tables were all nice and clean! A+ Secondly, our server Heather, was a very welcoming and friendly young lady with a fun and bubbly personality! My husband and I were genuinely satisfied with her professionalism and great customer service skills! Right off the back she took our drinks and appetizer orders and then she served us two glasses of ice cold water with lemons! We didn't even have to ask for the lemons! She was heaven sent from Professional Servers Heaven School! She checked on us regularly making sure we were comfortable and that we had everything we needed. She's definitely a peoples person! A+ for Heather! Thirdly, the food and drinks were very good! Our appetizer, the Cajun Seafood empanadas were not steaming hot like I would have preferred them to be but they were not cold either. They were absolutely delicious and full of seafood flavor which is a plus in my book. I hate when a dish is supposed to be a seafood dish but doesn't taste like anything related to the SEA! For our entrees, I ordered the fried catfish and shrimp with salad composed of lettuce and cucumbers only and my husband ordered the shrimp and grits meal! The fish and shrimp were fried to perfection and were not salty! The hush puppies are some of the best I've ever tasted! They were a little sweet in flavor and crunchy on the outside but soft on the inside, YUMMY! The coleslaw was delicious. It wasn't drenched, drowned, & soaked in mayonnaise! It was perfectly prepared! I loved it! They also give you some kind of toasted bread with both dishes and let me tell you, that bread was deliciously warm and soft. We ordered a second serving because it was so delicious! My husband's shrimp and grits were absolutely flavorful! Yes, I stuck my fork into his food! I just had to taste it. If I'm being completely HONEST, the grits looked dry when Heather brought it to the table. We are used to creole shrimp and grits where the grits are looser, does not have corn in it, and topped with a seafood sauce vs. the Cajun style shrimp and grits at BB's. My husband requested his sauce on the side which is why you don't see the sauce spread over the grits in the photo. However, we both immensely enjoyed the flavor of their shrimp and grits. It was a change from what we're used to, but it is good to try different styles of popular dishes! They were delicious and they had a nice spicy flavor to them. Lastly, I gave this restaurant five stars based on cleanliness, professionalism, and the deliciousness of their Cajun Cuisine! The ambience was excellent, not too noisy and not too quiet! However, keep in mind we visited on a weekday around 5:30. The weekends are probably busier. I notice they also have a large party room for celebrations!

Good food and service. Friendly staff and the atmosphere was relaxing. Would recommend. It was a little empty early evening but later into the evening it filled up.

Honestly, a 3+ would be more accurate. BB's has tier pricing for their crawfish. Today it was $8.95 for small, 9.95 for medium and 12.99 for large bugs. We went with the medium. Want corn or a potato? Extra. And you have a choice between dry rub and wet. The dry rub was plenty spicy and brought tears to my eyes. Service was excellent. So, why just 3 1/2 stars? The kitchen sent out the crawfish several minutes before my wife's salad and a friends' Po Boy followed the salad. To add to the problem, the kitchen sent out the Bubba Lump salad without the grilled shrimp my wife requested. When they finally added shrimp to her salad, it was boiled, not grilled. That's on the kitchen, but the server should have caught it. Still, all in all, we came for crawfish and BB's answered the bell. And the ladies seemed pleased with their alternative meals. And we were eternally grateful for a huge napkin dispenser on the table and a waitress who kept the water glasses full.

The presentation was bad and flavor I tried to get a variety of different stuff to give them a chance. Customer service was great but need to reconsider presentation and flavor of food very disappointed. It's a nice space looked clean and welcoming.

Great lunch service. Waitress was awesome and attentive. Boudin balls were on point as an appetizer. Fried shrimp had a a light batter and were delicious. Chicken and sausage gumbo was really good too. I will go back here.

This was actually the second time we have been here. The first time it was just my husband and I . We both enjoyed our food . - the second experience is really did it for me . First we had family visiting so we called to see about reserving a table for 12. We gave them a time and they said they would make it work. We got there at the time stated and it was perfect . We didn't have to wait .. there was enough room for all of us and it worked out perfectly. Originally we came Here because my family was wanting to try crawfish . I have never had crawfish but I was hoping with our my first time experience that this place would be good on that . It was a home-run for everyone. Everyone loved the food . My sister in law loved the seasoning on the crawdad So much that she ordered some for The flight back home . I wish I could remember everything we ordered and took more pictures but we all just enjoyed our food and time together too much . I had the French quarter plate which was delicious. A couple of people had Gumbo. We tried the alligator sausage in the crawfish boil and it was amazing . The crawfish were delicious and had so much flavor . The only picture I got was of the bread pudding . Which is by far one of my favorites that I have found so far out here in Katy. Hands down it would be my last meal . We also tried the butter cake rum sauce and it was tasty as well . Our waiter was amazing . Wish I remembered his name . But he did a fantastic job and I'm so glad we took our family here for the food and experience.

***GET THE "TEX-ORLEANS SIGNATURE STYLE BOIL" TRUST ME!!*** We had a great experience Everyone from the hostess to the bartender to the bussers are incredibly attentive and very kind. Come because there's music in the air, awesome people and a patio for those nice nights outside This isn't an award winning crawfish restaurant, but you're in Texas...so..., just have the original sauce a cold beverage and invite your favorite people! Be nice to your server and expect less for more... that's EVERYWHERE really (a "shortage" is coming/here) "Laissez les bon temps rouler!"

Pachonga platter was real good, the service was also good! Redheaded Whompus Cat drink was very tasty. Very crowded but was seated in a reasonable amount of time.

Read your receipt carefully. We were charged full price for happy hour drinks and appetizers. We were also charged extra for a side that was supposed to be included with our meal that never came. Overall, the bill was $30 more than it should have been. It was all adjusted correctly in the end but it should have been correct to begin with. The queso was really good. Other than that, the rest of the food was mediocre at best.

This is my favorite place to get a roast beef poboy. I also love their chicken & sausage gumbo. I went on Fat Tuesday to get the above. Food was delicious and service was good. There were no Fat Tuesday specials which was disappointing considering most other Cajun places had some type of drink or food special, but I was there around lunchtime so maybe that started later.

I've been eating at BB's for a while but first time in the one on 99. Got crawfish. Damn their getting expensive, but BB's was in line with everyone else. The have two flavors, the original bool we all love and then their own recipe. Lots of flavor I'm both. The other items on the recipe all have their own unique spin on Cajun recipes with a Texas twang. Certainly worth checking out. Some good.

The service is excellent and my waiter was so efficient! I was disappointed in the fried fish, but the fried shrimp were delicious! The brussel sprouts, sausage and mushrooms with my crawfish were so amazing!!

The food was delicious and we loved the great service. We ordered crawfish platter with shrimp sausage and some veggies. There was enough food for the both of us and my husband is a big eater. We will go back and enjoy BB Tex-Orleans again.

This was some good Cajun food! We tried the boudin link, gumbo, shrimp & grits and crawfish etouffee. Really good! We were very impressed. Not many places that say Cajun are actually Cajun. We will be back!

My wife and I dined at BB's Katy this afternoon. Since it is Houston Restaurant Weeks, we availed used the promotion menu. Our server, Fernanda, was good and accommodating. The food was excellent and plentiful. Well worth the visit.

Food was good as usual and takeout was ready when promised. No comment on service as food was ordered online.

0 out of 10. The food is just not good. I ordered the shrimp and grits (with a side of dirty rice) and boudin bites. The shrimp and grits were very thick. Almost like an oatmeal. It was topped with a creamy cheese sauce that tastes a bit like rotel dip. The dirty rice was very dry and a bit flavorless. Everyone makes boudin balls different, so I would recommend just trying them for yourself. I tried the fish as well, and it didn't taste fresh or as if it was frozen before. Now, the service was great! My server was nice and my food came out very quickly. If you're hungry and looking for a quick bite to hold you over, BB's is your place. Otherwise-- maybe just cook.

Our waiter, Kyle was excellent. He was attentive and helped up build our crawfish platter. There was a bit of a wait for outside seating due to only two waiters working the outside. We ordered the crawfish, classic size, extra wet w/Louisiana/Tex seasoning which is the WET vs DRY finish. It was the right amount of spice and tang. The flavors paired well... The sausage was the best sausage I've ever had, garlic flavor. I cannot wait to visit, again!

BB's.....meh?! I love the atmosphere, and I love Cajun foods...but this place sucks ‍ We went to try out their crawfish, (we're still trying to find the best spot in Katy) We ordered some boudin balls for an app...they were over coated and greasy, we each ate one...waiter didn't ask why we didn't eat them, just took them away. Then we got 6 pounds of crawfish with corn and potatoes. About half of mine were un-peelable!! The tails would basically just shred and not come out of the tails. I've been eating crawfish all my life, I've never had that happen before! it's early for crawfish season, so we paid pretty high per pound, sadly only to toss them to the side and not eat them. Again The waiter didn't even ask us why we didn't eat any of the food ‍‍ That was our third bad experience there...three strikes and you're out

I could not say enough great things about this BBs location. From management to service, they have always gone above and beyond! I don't think I've ever visited and had a bad experience. I will solely come back to the Katy location just for the staff. The crawfish is always amazing too!
