I’ve used bkcakeny every year since 2021 for my son’s birthday cakes (only found pics of 2,4,&5 and of course got none of his 6th cake today!). They always deliver with my last minute orders year after year lol so accommodating and friendly! I was surprised that my husband noticed and ordered my birthday cake from them as well! We love them! Cakes are beyond amazing! Everyone’s always asking where did you get this cake? Their attention to detail of your design/request is unmatched and the taste chefs kiss!

My husband loves to fish and it was his birthday. I ordered a cake with a fish coming out of it and he just loved it! He’s not a splashy man and never makes a big deal about his birthday and cakes, but he’s been showing this one off to his fishing buddies.

This is our 2nd time ordered from BCake. We ordered late but they still managed to squeeze us in. The cake and red velvet cupcakes looked exactly how we wanted it and were a hit at the baby shower. Getting ready for our 3rd purchase soon. 10/10!

All that mattered was the cake and service handle with care when it come to handing it off and packaging great. And they did just amazing with the cake. The cake taste great and my daughter love the decor of her K-pop demon hunter …Very pricey but worth it …

BCakeNY made the most amazing unicorn birthday cake for my daughter's 5th! I emailed them about a month before her party and they responded promptly with some options. All communication was professional and prices were in line with what they list on the website. They offered a time window to pick it up and it was ready, refrigerated, and safely boxed up and ready to transport right on time. When they showed it to me, I was blown away, because it looked EXACTLY like the description. My kid flipped when she saw it. It was delicious, the colors were bright, and everything was edible, even the unicorn horn. I can't recommend BCakeNY enough. I'm not exactly buying custom cakes and cupcakes everyday but when I need to I'll be back here!

The ladies at BCakeNY went above and beyond to make and deliver my daughter's 3rd birthday cake. Not only was the design spot on, but the cake itself was moist and delicious - we ordered red velvet and cream cheese. Everyone raved about it :-) We can't wait to work with them again for our next event.

I have never been disappointed with anything that I have ordered and consumed from BCakeNY so it was a super easy choice to make them my Thankful Thursday review. It's my way of saying Thank you for consistently delivering a high standard of desserts year after year. It also is very dear to my heart because they are Black woman-owned business. I heard good thinks about this place and I was planning a big themed event that needed an awesome cake. I wanted to confirm that they were indeed great before suggesting going with them so I pulled up and grabbed some cupcakes for myself and the party host to try. When I (low key cake aficionado) and the party host (self proclaimed dessert hater) bit into the blue velvet cupcake, it was love at first bite! Moist and light with a beautiful blue hue. It's all that and a bag of chips!!! The customer service is stellar online and in-store. The turn-around times are a game changer; 24 hours for a completely custom cake or dozens of cupcakes?!? And rest assured that they will be good, to your liking and fresh. I have ordered a custom print fondant cake that was the highlight of the event and most recently a dozen custom cupcakes that were ready in under 24 hours. The price is on par with the product that you receive. I highly recommend ordering from this bakery!

I placed a cake order for Good Friday for my daughter's birthday like I've done every year since she was born from this establishment. The cake was beautifully done as usual and tasted great, my daughter's day was made. The customer service is absolutely amazing and any issues are handled as soon as they arise. I ordered a cake for a birthday party and was so impressed by the customer service, not to mention the cake was so delicious. Their team went above and beyond with delivery and handled confusion at the venue with such ease. The cake itself was perfectly moist and followed my preferences on the cake design to a T. Will be ordering from BCakeNY for all my special events!

Poorly delivered, $25 assorted cupcakes. In disbelief at how terribly packed and delivered these were. I could not serve these to guests. And while I blame this in part on the delivery person being on a bike. It's hard to believe Bcake has no experience in packing cupcakes so they are delivered decently and not flipped over.

This is a bit overdue but still worth sharing. I wanted to treat myself for my birthday in February. I've heard great things about BCakeNY, so I decided to purchase a few treats for my personal consumption during my birthday month. Their website is a fairly easy platform to use and I really must commend them for offering such a great variety of cakes and treats which do not require the customer to step into their store. There are complete cakes for sale, as well as cupcakes with designs, cookies, and even DIY kits - all very cool and innovative. I decided to purchase 4 cake jars of different flavors (lemon, bailey's rum, blue velvet, and vanilla). The cake jars are $12-14 each depending on the flavor. They do offer gift box packs of 2 or 4 jars however, they are limited to either a liquor mix or regular mix. I have no idea what either of those includes since it isn't outlined on the site. There are pictures too but I'm not sure if they are accurate to what you'll receive. Nonetheless, I've never had their cake before and I did not want surprises, so I ordered al la carte. You can order for pick up in store, shipping, or delivery. I live in the Bronx, so getting to BCakeNY is a bit of a journey on my own. Delivery is $105, (out of the question). So, my only option was shipping, which is $25. Pretty steep if you ask me, but it covers 2-day shipping. I was hoping to get the treats on or before my birthday but that did not occur. Once you place the order, you'll receive a confirmation, then a shipping notification, but no tracking number. My birthday was the 9th, so I called on the 8th asking about the tracking number. I was graciously notified by the staff that my treats wouldn't get to me in time as there seemed to have been some error (on their part) with my address. As a result, they resent a new shipment of treats overnight via UPS. Exceptional service, if you ask me. I received the replacement shipment with no problems and on-time. The cake jars were packed secure and well presented in a cake boxed filled with colored shredded paper. Again, I ordered lemon, bailey's rum, blue velvet, and vanilla cake jars. All tasted very fresh and require immediate refrigeration. The cake itself wasn't as great as I had anticipated but they were good enough that I would have it again, I just wouldn't say this was my go-to place for all of my special occasions. The texture was pretty moist and the flavors were mildly sweet, without being overpowering. The buttercream frosting was tasty, its texture being light and creamy; I'm guessing it was oil or fat based because it solidified when refrigerated. The blue velvet came with cream cheese frosting, which was a little too sweet for me. Among my favorite, I enjoyed the vanilla and bailey's rum cake the best. The latter wasn't overpowering which I was surprised about. It had a nice tinge of the rum that when combined with the moist, sweetness of the cake, it creates a nice mouthfeel. I would suggest allowing the cake jars to sit at room temperature for a few minutes before eating, so that you can really enjoy the flavors. Once I started doing that, I really got to taste and enjoy the cakes. Overally, I enjoyed my cake. It was a great treat to celebrate my birthday. I also commend the staff because they were very helpful whenever I called with questions or concerns. I'd definitely return but it's not at the top of my life due to distance and essentially, I didn't fall in love with the cake. Five starts all around for great service and good cake.

My friends fiancé wanted to surprise her with a cake and that he did! She's an island girl and a pescatarian so he decided to get her a cake in the shape of her favorite dish...a red snapper! When he told me I must admit I was really confused and had a few questions like why, will it look good, and more importantly why?! But he knows his woman because she flipped out when she saw it she loveeeeed it. The looked as realistic as a 'fish cake' could. Along with immaculate look the cake tasted freaking amazing! Cudos to the artist, bakers and entire team at BCakeNY

I went to this Bakery over three years ago. I was not happy about the result of what I paid for. I was supposed to get half cupcakes with liquor and the other half with out. Sadly to say that was never done and when my husband picked up the cake, we didn't expect it to be as small for what we paid. Personally I would not ever recommend this place. Just do ur research case there are bakeries everywhere nowadays!

6 years ago I had one of the best cakes for my birthday at BCakeNY. It was a Keith Haring design cake and was the star of the show. I've also ordered a baby shower cake as well. BCake has always been a part of my most special moments and what I love about the cakes here is that the inside is just as fantastic as the outside. Now, my family and I have moved on to the cake jars! They are now a staple for us during the holiday season and we all love them. Our favorites are the blue jars, the Hennessy jars, and the Pina Colada jars. I also love the stuffed cookies, the Red Velvet was delicious. I will make sure I stop by once again for our family new years eve snacks! Probably down these tasty treats with some coquito. BCake 4 Lyfe

We ordered a cake for my stepdaughters birthday The service is spotty. We emailed an inquiry and some photos of how we would like our cake to look. We didn't hear back from anyone. When I called I spoke to an employee. She seems very pleasant. Looked for the email and found it [didnt respond to the email] she then went on to tell me it is easier to just order online.... okay We went online. And my boyfriend wasn't comfortable so he went IN PERSON to order the cake. You would think if you go in person, talk to someone, there is no way to fudge the pooch-- wrong! After showing them a whole picture. [although they had it in the email] They messed up the cake sooooo bad. It's like they didn't even check for quality before they let it leave the store. The number 12 was bigger than the cake itself. NOOO decorations just one symbol on the cake. It was like a horror situation of what I asked for VS what I got. I did call and express my concerns and frustration. They then allowed us to bring the cake it to be fixed. The fix was doable. But you spend 200$ on a cake. You shouldn't have to go behind them and tell them how to do their job. Cake tasted good. I give them that. Red velvet. One star for taste

I ordered cupcakes from BCakeNY. They have a pickup window from 11-3 and said they could be picked up as early as 11AM however when I arrived they were not ready at 12:15. Had to wait an additional 20 mins and the customer service support was not pleasant! On top of that they cupcakes looked nothing like the image I sent over. Poor experience to say the least. See attached images for what I asked for vs what I got.

One of our dear coworkers had the best cupcakes and cookies sent to us for social worker month and women history month!! They were so yummy and not too sweet!! Will definitely keep enjoying and eating them. Photos don't describe how good they taste !!!

I have been following this bakery on IG for the last year and always loved their designs and illustrations. Since my son was graduating from college and he lives in Brooklyn I decided to order his favorite cupcake . Ordering on their site was easy and the communication was effortless as Dana asked me right away if I had more images needed on the celebration cupcakes. I picked up the cupcakes today and besides the look of the cupcakes , the cupcakes taste great! I am glad I took the chance to try this bakery out and it will be my go to when I'm in the BK and need to order baked goods

After calling many bakeries for a birthday cake. I ordered a cake through the website for a birthday during the pandemic. The ordering was seemless and convenient. The cake was so delicious and my son loved the Pokémon theme. It was nice to give him something special during such a crazy time.

Loved, loved,loved my surprise birthday cake.To have a cake made by BCakeNY has always been on my bucket list,so no surprise my friend blessed me for my 30th. Now I'm picky when it comes to flavors so the cake was a simple vanilla cake with buttercream and a surprise of sprinkles inside beautifully adorned with macaroons and flowers all matching the color scheme of my party. Cupcakes were AMAZING!! I found them trying to find Game of Thrones themed desserts. Since it was one of the semi-customizable options online, it was super easy to pick my flavors and place the order. I had follow up questions via email and they were very quick to respond and helpful in scheduling my pick up time. Most importantly the cupcakes were delicious! The GOT decorations were attention-getting, but the cupcakes themselves were super super great. The cake was moist and flavorful and the buttercream was not overly sweet. The Hennessy buttercream was a hit obviously (additional cost but totally worth it), and red velvet was so so good. It was a huge hit for the party and everyone asked where to go get them!

Support Local Black Owned Businesses! The service was quick and friendly. I only ordered two cupcakes here, but they were amazing. I love Mias bakery, but will definitely be getting my cupcakes from B Cakes NY Now. Check this place out!

A wonderful experience so glad I stumbled Upon this business doing a google search had no idea how big they were, they treated me like VIP and there prices are so cheap and reasonable especially for the product there delivering my cake blew me away !

I had high expectations for the cake I ordered! I looked through tons of photos before ordering and I just knew it would look and taste amazing! Unfortunately, it didn't meet my expectations. The cake had several flaws, almost as if someone was in a rush? And that would've been understandable if I ordered from a grocery store. But with such great work being put out from this Bakery, the cake I received was not of the same quality. I love supporting small businesses but sadly I would not order from them again.

I ordered a cake to pick up for my daughters birthday. On Tuesday Nov 23 2021, I went to pick up a cake for my daughters birthday dinner. On the way there, and prior to arriving I was calling BCakeNy for 20 minutes, and I received no answer. The phone just kept ringing and then went to voice mail and at first I decided not to panic because I was on the way there anyways and according their website hours they were open and it was possible that they were busy fulfilling other orders. Once I arrived at BCakeNY things took a turn for the worst. As I walked up to the door I realized that no one was in the store. I stood outside in the cold for 20 minutes anxiously waiting for someone to come to the door and assist me , their paying customer. As I waited I called for at least 10 minutes and got no one on the phone. At this point my anxiety is through the roof, I am running very late and very low on time to take my daughter to her birthday dinner reservation due to me waiting on them and I am freezing. It was extremely disheartening to be left in the cold as I waited on the employees to finally arrive (after leaving a staff thanksgiving dinner a couple doors down) and accommodate me by providing me with the cake that I paid for and that THEY KNEW I WAS COMING TO PICK UP ON NOV 23 2021. 20 minutes after me waiting in the freezing cold, 5 of the employees later came strolling down towards the BCakeNY store to then sarcastically tell me that they were sorry for being late due to them being at a thanksgiving staff dinner.This was just the beginning. Not only was I waiting in the cold for the cake I paid for, but I didn't even receive the actual cake I wanted and paid for!! The top half design of the cake was missing causing the cake to look bare and plain and as though it was designed by a amateur. As a parent not only did my heart break, but also as a great customer I felt as though this company did not support me at all. The company was very sarcastic with their apology and later offered me $46 gift certificate which doesn't even begin to compensate for the way I was treated as customer by an established company. It seems as though this company does not feel the need to give proper customer service to clientele that aren't celebrities being that celebrity clientele is where they obtain their worth as a company. BCakeNy gives celebrities luxurious complementary cakes to build their establishment and as a result they feel as though because they've obtained some sort of credit that they don't need to treat their everyday customers with proper care or service. The location I've had this terrible experience with is at 702 Washington Avenue. Brooklyn, NY 11238. After speaking with employee, Justine, on the phone who claimed she was going to reach out to the managers Donna and Kate in regards to this mishap, neither of the managers reached out to me with an apology for the cake. They simply sent a email with the gift certificate of $46. This is despicable and I do no recommend this company to anyone in hopes of finding good cake along with good customer service. Walked in today to do quick consultation. The young lady taking the order (wears glasses) was very pleasant. I wanted a gluten free & vegan cake. I had a lot of question, I'm Allergy prone. The first time I walked in I wanted to inquire about prices. I reached half a block and I said "I'll get these cupcakes". I mainly came back because of the wonderful customer service from the young lady helping me with all of my concerns. The one last question I had really ticked off the BAKER. When the young lady came back to her a second time she said "why" after having a small tantrum for a few mins. That also included her shouting " assholes" I guess customers like me? Saying that repeatedly. Clearly Loud enough so I can hear. The baker came up to me with an aggressive demeanor and asked "what questions do you have?" I asked her my simple question and she gave me an answer with so much aggression. I don't know what I did to deserve that. I not for one second was rude or offensive. I thank the young lady for her time and customer service and I had to walk out because I was baffled by this company's baker behavior. If I could I would give 5 Stars to the young lady who tried to consult my order.

Great experience! I really appreciated the customer service I received from the staff and owner. They were pleasant and very knowledgeable about the various options that they had to offer. I opted for the Blue Velvet cake jar, let's just say it was heaven in jar! It was absolutely delicious. The cake was nice and moist, the cheesecake frosting sealed the deal. I purchased a few jars for holiday gifts and the lady wrapped cute bows on the jar for me. I'm definitely coming back to order a specialty cake!

I love BCakes! they've been making my daughters' cake since she was in my belly and now she is turning 3! So I was super excited to go in to get a new cake made for her. I normally go in because I am visually impaired and doing it online is a bit difficult and I also enjoy sitting with them to get her cake all squared away. I have been to the location before the pandemic and during so I understand the concern for personal distance and personal safety. When I arrived to the location I was excited to design the cake and to sit with someone to get it done. Walking in I was greeted by a young lady who was sitting down doing some paperwork. I told her I wanted to design a cake for my daughter's 3rd birthday, told her the date and she began to point at the cakes behind her on display. I explained that I did not see very well and if I could get closer, she hesitated, and told me we really doing want people to come to far inside of the shop. I understand and still explained that I did not see very well and if someone could help me. (I understand that Bcakes has display books but I didn't not see them out nor was I offered one.) She then suggested that I could do it online for a set price. It was not about the price, it was about the customer service that I required to complete my order. I live in the Bronx, I purposefully came to Brooklyn to design a cake and to get some treats. I also came for the personal service that I have received in the past. I asked again for assistance and she asked a young lady from behind the counter to assist me. What bothered me was not just this exchange; but that they didn't suggest a tasting. I understand if there was a fee that's fine, but how do you choose a flavor you want without trying them. Even if we were able to take it home and call in to modify the invoice. It was suggested that I purchase a cupcake... I'd rather the tasting instead but I felt as though I was a bother this whole time so I didn't want to push. When she came to me to assist me I had some more question and the original lady decided she would sidebar and answer my question all by doing her paperwork and no looking at us. Meanwhile that was no where to sit inside all the seats were occupied by staff on laptops. The young lady and I stood up and worked from my phone. I finally took it upon myself to walk over to the display window to see what I want. The young lady who assisted me was very helpful in understand that I did not see very well and she inputted the information on my phone from their website. Overall the experience with the youg lady from behind the counter went well. Moreover, the owner walked passed me twice and did acknowledge me or other customers but spoke with her staff. She has done this before. The last time I was there I had to stop her to say hello to her after she passed me three times. During this occasions, however, I was more taken aback by the fact that her staff was more interested with getting me out of the shop and not assisting me than anything else. I absolutely love the cakes that are prepared there; they look and taste amazing. I am disappointment at the customer service I received. I hope that they can do better. We love the cakes and we love designing them with the staff its unfortunate that they were lackluster about it.

I reeeeally wanna give them 5 stars, but my only reservation was the actual cake and filling. I was looking for real raspberry preserve like filling and got more of a raspberry cream and I wish the cake was bit more moist. But the artistry is without a doubt 5 stars all the way! I was hosting a Cinco de Mayo double birthday party for my Irish Twins. I wanted to go over the top and this cake was the icing on top of the festivities AND a beautiful center piece. Definitely going back when my babies reach another milestone birthday.

BCakeNY has been nothing but amazing!! From the moment of inquiry, they were the only store that responded to my email inquiry by calling me and telling me I could come in the next day for a tasting and to meet them for a sketch of my idea. I met with Cara. She was absolutely amazing! She made my idea into a perfection and an even better cake than I ever thought about. This was a surprise cake for my husband on our wedding day and everyone loved it including my husband. The cake I ordered was the rum cake, it was absolutely delicious! How can a cake be so beautiful and taste so good?! I would recommend them hands down! They're are professional and so talented!! I'm lookin forward to using them again.

I've walked past here many times but never went in because I thought they only did custom cakes. I was wrong. I needed cupcakes last minute so thought I would go in and beg for mercy. Turns out they do sell cupcakes and begging was not required. I'm currently struggling with words at how delicious these were. One Red velvet, one lemon and one baileys. Each a completely different, delightful taste. Light, airy yet somehow dense. They were so perfect I just know I'm about to spend way too much time, money and spike in my sugar levels in there trying each flavor. Yeah I see you over there in the corner, cookies in the glass jar. I'm coming for you too!

Finally made it here. Looking for a place to buy a cake for my daughter's 21st birthday in May. It's a small shop and was packed. As soon as we came in, we were greeted by Katie. She was very nice. We sampled the cakes and the strawberry with strawberry pieces was very good. My mother enjoyed the Hennessy cake (keep in mind, she doesn't drink). Very expensive cakes but it's to be expected

I think this is the MOISTEST cake I've taste in my entire life. I've followed BCakeNY Social media handles for years and saw how people raved about their cakes. I also was excited to see that they had a shop in BK and even better within walking distance to my parent's house. I also noticed that in addition to cakes, one can purchase cupcakes, cake jars and some of the cake jars are also spiked with alcohol. So I decided to walk to the shop and try the red velvet cake jar. The shop is on the tiny side and allows for only one customer at a time which I'm extremely grateful for since we are it's been a year since we are in a pandemic. They were very efficient so I didn't have to wait too long outside. As soon as I walked in, they greeted me at the door. Although they seemed extremely busy, they had a nice system which I could appreciate. I think I saw about 4 cakes leave the shop in the 10 minutes that I was there as it was Valentine's Day weekend. Fast forward to me at my hotel and I'm biting into this red velvet cake jar....Absolutely divine. Extremely moist and the icing was super buttery. I look forward to partnering with them at my next birthday event for sure.

Got my 30the birthday cake from here .... Amazing!!!! Their customer service is awesome... I was able to go over all the cakes and even with my indecisiveness they were patient. I got 3 layer & 3 different flavor topsy turvy cake in a zebra print with turquoise butterflies! Amazing!!! The artist even called the day before b/c she had an idea to mix in a little yellow butterflies.. I just loved that they put so much effort into my lil old birthday cake. The cake itself wasn't just beautiful, but it was soooooooo good... Strawberry, Vanilla, & Red Velvet cake...I would've popped my dress if I didn't have other people eating this monstrous cake...lol! I will definitely use them again for another special event!!!!

Honestly I can go on and on about this amazing but I'm gonna try to keep it simple. I've been purchasing my cakes here for about five years now. Every cake and cupcake order has tasted amazing buttery and fresh. The way the cakes are packaged for delivery ensure the safety and stability of the cake. When I take my cake out it's always in tact perfectly intact I'm always so amazed because I've ordered some pretty fancy stuff. Not only are the cakes very tasty the customer service is 5 stars as well. I have needed to have a cake delivered all the way to the Bronx and it got there on time and in tact I love this place! Garnet is the best!

Hands down, best cake shop in NYC! I've gone to them for family parties and business events... they always deliver top notch quality in both design and taste! Cupcakes in particular are my jam (and a crowd pleaser w the kiddos) Can not go wrong w Red Velvet- the cream cheese frosting alone is to die for! And while I'm not Vegan, I really really really enjoy their Vegan vanilla cupcake, which I recently tried upon recommendation... it's moist and flavorful and as a fitness professional I don't feel bad about indulging in one (or two) on the weekends... it's called balance! Seasonally they also have these Yam cupcakes... sounds crazy for a cupcake but again SO good and one my favs. (See attached photo) I'm also not usually a Strawberry person but their Strawberry is just the right amount of fruity... not too sweet and very creamy... purely decadent! On top of all this, the staff is fantastic. Always warm and welcoming... patient with me when I don't know what to get (which is all the time)! And they know what they're doing... their design team is on point. They do some pretty amazing cakes but if you are on a budget and just want something simple, they can work with you as long as you're open about it. The shop is super cute too! Like I said, for me, weekend vibes = workout + coffee + cupcake ... and life is all good!

One of my go to cake places for a few years now; Just in general, I would recommend booking cake appointments early to ensure that you get what you want and have ample time to make changes etc.. BCake has made cake pops & cakes for my events. I am pleased with their services and did not feel as if our appointment was rushed . I was please with the outcome of the cakes we ordered and the staff's ability to work with me on details to execute what I desired.

3 1/2 stars, I had been following them on Instagram for a while and was dying to try this bakery. The visuals of their beautiful creations are just as much a part of the experience as actually eating them. We got a Starwberry, Chocolate and Red Velvet cupcake. The Starberry was the better of the 3, the strawberry flavor clearly coming through without completely taking over. The chocolate was good as well, with a cocoa flavor that reminded me more dark chocolate than milk chocolate, which I appreciated. The Red Velvet was just good. Everything was good, but nothing was mind blowing. What I didn't love about the cupcakes is that the texture is a bit drier/crumbly than I prefer. They make astonishing looking cakes which is what brought me to try them in the first place, however I think their lack of pricing guidlines for their cakes is a bit pretentious. Clearly they have a large celebrity clientele, which they shamelessly advertise. The wall is full of celebrity photos with their cakes. And I believe this is why there are no cake prices listed anywhere in store, or on their website last I checked, which for a regular customer like myself can be intimidating. The mystery of of possibly being met with an exorbitant price discouraged me from even inquiring about a cake. It seems like only the people who have a limitless budget would feel confident enough to inquire about ordering a cake with any real intent-and the celebrity photos only seem to confirm this. I like places like Magnolia Bakery, that despite the infamy gained by their Sex And The City feature, they display straight forward and fair pricing that even the most humble fan can feel comfortable walking in knowing they'll be able to indulge in their treats.

Not impressed. Walked in to this place and the customer service was horrible. No images to share "go search IG" and "our cakes start at $500". I understand that this place gets a lot of celebrity clientele because that's how i heard of them but the treatment seems like they are only interested in celeb clients and can take or leave normal people's business. I thought we would do a tasting but nope they didn't have cakes set up for that so we could pay for cupcakes half off. Maybe this cupcake was worth the lack of customer service ? No, I've made box cupcakes that are better. *sigh*

BCakeNY came THROUGH for my good friend's birthday. I called at 3:00pm to order a dozen cupcakes for same-day delivery in Brooklyn (yes, we totally dropped the ball in planning this and should have ordered earlier). The staff was so quick to take my info, call their delivery person to confirm it could happen, and call me back to get the ball rolling. They also specifically took down allergy info to make sure my friend's allergen wasn't involved in anything they sent. Cupcakes were delivered by 4:45pm, incredible turnaround time. 10/10 would recommend to everyone!!

Super surprised the rating is so low on here! I came to bcake for my 30th birthday cake. At the time that I placed my order I wasn't sure what flavor I wanted, so they told me to come by for a tasting. I decided on the vanilla cake with a cream cheese filling (yummyyyyyy). They weren't sure where to get the crown I wanted as a topper, so I ordered it on amazon. Picking up the cake was quick and easy. All and all I had an amazing experience.

I've order custom cupcakes from BCake NY twice now. These cupcakes with pictures and a personal message are always a hit. First order was for my friend's engagement and second was for my sis-in-laws bday. To be honest I've never eaten one, because they disappear soooo fast. But my friends rave at how moist and fresh the cupcakes are. This is now my go-to spot, on the website it says to place your order at least 3 days prior to your event, but if you call they can usually accommodate you.

Where do I begin...hmmm...ok well, if you're not a stuck up celebrity then don't even waste your time. Let me explain why... 1. I called just to get a price quote, I was very detailed and exact with what I wanted. The chick tells me I need to come into the store on Tuesdays for a taste sample!!! Who does that just for a quote?!?!? Girl bye... 2. After expressing my concerns about the taste testing, I was advised to email them...was never even given the courtesy of a returned phone call/email. Yet I see them posting all these cakes for "OTHER" people on their website and facebook. GO FIGURE! 3.I have tasted their cakes before and believe me, it's not worth the hassel. The cakes and other edibles are very well put together but there are other places that are 10x's better in taste (see my post for Circo's pastry). I just wanted a sure thing in terms of decor so I thought of this place and was highly disappointed. 4. Customer service was horrible!!! Booooooo!

As a hotelier, I tend to be pretty critical when it comes to customer service and quality. My experience at B Cake was so good, I just had to share with my fellow Yelpers! I came to B Cake for my little nephews' 1st birthday party. My brother set the superhero theme and it was my duty to procure the cake for little Cooper. I called on the phone and afraid my last minute request would have been a resounding no, they asked me to come into the store to see what they could do to help me in such short notice. They need 3 weeks and I was calling 1 week out. I arrived in the store and the first thing I noticed was the aroma of some beautiful delicious cake. I was immediately greeted and given the opportunity to sit and talk about my needs. I came prepared with a picture of what I was looking for and then the real fun started... The tasting! After making my way through 3 of the 6 options, I settled on the Blue Velvet with cream cheese frosting. Although they promised me that the blue was not food coloring and all natural, they wouldn't divulge their secret ingredient. In any case it was moist and delicious and certainly unique. It's also good to note that this bakery is 100% peanut free and therefore safe for kids/adults with allergies. The day of the party I picked up my cake as scheduled and again greeted with nothing but kindness. They showed me the cake before boxing it up and graciously secured it in my car. Needless to say, the cake was the highlight of the party and both the children and adults were awed at not just the design but the cake itself. It was SO good! Moist flavorful, not too sweet. Best. Cream Cheese. Frosting. Ever. The cakes are on the higher end and not cheap by any means. Keep in mind though that a lot of work goes into them and they are truly works of art. To think that someone took the time to customize exactly what you want - AND HAVE IT TASTE GOOD - is a very special talent and worth every penny! Thank you B Cake! I will certainly be back!

I ordered my 50 birthday cake from them and they're cakes are so delicious that I refused to cut it and share with my guest of 150 ppl.. I know that was selfish of me but I really adore their cakes . Best cake ever

I bought cupcakes for my friends birthday 8months ago. I could have done a way better job had I done it myself. They would've tasted so much better too. I was excited because they seem to have a lot of celebs going to them for cakes and lots of reviews raving about them from the Brooklyn community as well. I'm not sure what it is they're raving about, but I didn't receive that. I spent $60 what a waste.

Used them for our wedding cake in 2015 and it was delicious. However, since then I've had poor experiences with them. Tried to order a small, simple cake for 2 for our anniversary and forgot until about a week before (admittedly completely my fault). They said no but can do cupcakes. Why no cake but can do decorated cupcakes? Cakes are all "custom" and need minimum 4 weeks. Even when I said "ok but I literally just want plain vanilla on vanilla, small, no decorations," doesn't matter; cupcakes are the only option. Fine, ordered cupcakes. Then when I needed to reschedule the pickup time to after work, 3 days ahead of time, they said 6:30pm is when they close and I need to call to make sure someone stays. Online it says 7pm. Both times I've called staff have been pretty short, no effort to accommodate, and non-apologetic. I'm pretty upset that I now have bitter memories of the place I got my wedding cake from. I won't be recommending for others or patronizing again.
