I really liked this place. The mix of pop and RnB music from early 2000s was a nice touch. It’s a small place so that added to the chill atmosphere. Service was good. Our server was on top of things. The food was excellent. The bananas foster French toast, although didn’t look appetizing or like the other Yelp photos (the bananas not being sliced made a difference in presentation), was very good; the caramel sauce had the right amount of sweetness and the toast was good perfectly. The duck and egg tacos were fabulous. The pickled onions were a nice touch. The drinks were good and normally prices. Overall, a solid place with an interesting menu. I’ll return.

First, the customer service here is some of the best in the Nation. THE NATION! This was my parents' and my first time here, and it was fantastic. Everyone was great! The gentleman who had on the Wounded Warriors shirt (sorry, can't remember his name) was absolutely amazing. He went above and beyond in making our visit top-notch. Second, the food and drinks were fantastic. The salad appetizer was one of the best I've ever had, and the wings blew us away. The corn has pork (sheds a tear), but I've heard it's some of the best. I highly recommend BCK without a doubt! Great atmosphere, delicious food, and AMAZING customer service... This is your place! Thanks again to everyone for the great experience!

The food was excellent, they have a couple of inventive food items that, I had to get the psghettios. The fries were definitely the best part of my meal, not usually a fan of thick cut fries, but these were cooked perfectly and went well with the steakhouse ketchup. They have a decent selection of beers and some off the wall cocktails. The service was on their game, the ambience was nice and the place was clean. Check em out.

Food Ingredient/Quality: Incredible flavors in each dish we shared. Breakfast burrito, Breakfast Sammy & Chilaquiles Verdes. Each dish was unique, blend of heat and spices in the chorizo made an excellent add-on to the burrito. Food Temp: Each dish came hot and crisp, with the open kitchen style you can tell when your food comes off the kitchen line the staff are very quick to deliver to tables. Plating Execution: Extremely clean and neat. Even the egg dishes, which often can be plated a complete mess (but still taste fantastic) in some of our favorite restaurants, were served beautifully. Seating Environment/Ambiance: Ambient sound of patron conversation in the dining area was present but not preventing us to hear each other at our table. Actually it was pretty nice and enjoyable social atmosphere. Service Quality: Our waitress was a complete rock star! She was working to train in a new hire. When we had questions about the menu or delivery of service she didn't miss a beat. Such a pleasant person and she made our brunch really fun with a few laughs. Beverage Quality: Bloody Mary (without spice) was pretty good and no complaints. Little watered down with all the ice but the mix was really good. Additional Amenities: Bathrooms were very clean and the tables were spotless. Really enjoyable environment with classic signs, photos, memorabilia and LP covers on the wall. Overall: Absolutely one of my favorite brunch/breakfast locations in town and will be back very soon. One star = Oh my, thank you but no thank you. Two stars = Meh, it's not the worst but could be better Three stars = Satisfied but lacking some finishes Four stars = Yup, I'm happy, i'll definitely be back Five stars = Holy hell, when can i come back?!

This was my first time here and I enjoyed every moment at BCK! The food was delicious, the drinks were tasty, and the ambience was fun and inviting. My girl friends and I went during their happy hour time on a Saturday (4PM -6PM). Our waiter, Taylor, was PHENOMENAL!! We had so many requests and he provided excellent service with a smile the entire time. I am absolutely returning to BCK and will bring friends and family when they come to visit me in Houston. Oh and the meatballs 🙌🏿😩🙌🏿 they were my favorite! Prices for happy hour drinks were $7 and Happy hour food was about $7-12..and they bring your receipt inserted in a cassette player from the 80s/90s. I I HIGHLY recommend BCK. You will NOT be disappointed 🤗

Came here for a Saturday brunch after reading some reviews. The ambiance is nice and there seems to be ample parking in the back, however we parked on an adjacent street. Seated quickly but it took a little while for our server to come. Food is uninspiring. Egg white omelette had crunchy asparagus that wasn't well cooked, the fruit cocktail is literally fruit from a can. Steak tacos at least were good. Drinks weren't bad but were weak for $8. Perhaps the more savory foods are better, but we probably won't try again.

It was definitely trendy and a good crowd. But for me, it was a little too loud, the food was interesting in concept but meh on execution, and the drinks a little pricy for what they were (same comment as on food). I got the HRW menu to try the most off their menu and support a good cause. The meatballs themselves were a little dry (but sauce a-maz-ing), the snapper was nice and greens with it good, the chocolate waffle was good but again a little dry. The staff was nice and we had a high top at the bar so had like 3 different people waiting on us. All were helpful and knowledgeable about the menu to assist.

This is a wonderful restaraunt overall. The food is cood well and they dont overcook the sweet potato fries. I ate the bacon and blue burger and it was very satisfying. The salmon is nice and tender and full of flavor. They have complimentary valet which is great for the parking situation in the area. I got to sit next to the wall with the tapes(the predecessor to the cd) and enjoyed talking with my wife about the memories of some of the titles we saw. It makes for a great conversation starter.
