"This bustling, casual spot is open 24/7 – come for rice dishes during the day and seafood at night. Most of the shellfish is sourced locally and the owner ensures the quality is top-notch. Take your pick from the live fish tank and specify how you want it cooked. The grilled shrimp has impressive smoky aromas and simple seasoning that allows the natural umami to shine through. The appetisers, such as quail eggs and poached peanuts, are perfectly made." - Michelin Inspector

Just arrived in Da Nang and we were about to go to a much more expensive place across the street when our grab driver suggested we go to this place instead, because it was good but cheaper. Maybe he saw our young children and how we were dressed and figured we weren’t prepared for fine dining which was probably a correct assumption. The restaurant looked very busy so we took his suggestion. As you can tell from the other reviews, the food is wonderful so I’ll just summarize how we as first timers who only speak English ordered - 1 - order seafood by the tanks. pick the seafood you want, tell them how you want it prepared (garlic, garlic butter, steamed, etc) and the quantity, although they helped us out with how much we should order. The ordering process felt rushed, but we got it done. They give you a slip and take you to your table. 2 - there are menus at the table and plates of peanuts and quail eggs. If you don’t want to get charged for the eggs and peanuts, let them know you don’t want it. We didn’t realize this and got charged about 20000 vnd per plate of eggs and peanuts. Wasn’t bad but we probably only needed 1 plate of each instead of 2. 3 - At the table we ordered all the sides from the menu - veggies, fried rice, omelette, etc, although I noticed that the menus also had a combo seafood meal that seemed like it would have been good as well 4 - during dinner a guy came around with a big basket of various packaged fruit for sale. The jackfruit looked good so we bought one for 20000vnd. It was so good! He has a fruit stand right in front of the restaurant so after dinner we went by the stand and bought some more fruit.

Excellent service! Special thanks to Trung, very warm services. We love all the foods here, the crabs, the tiger prawns ( in 2 different sauces), the clams, all fresh and really good prices. You can order a la cart but we choose from the combo, in which we believe even cheaper:) I will definitely recommend this restaurant *****

This place only except cash or alipay. If you use alipay they will charge you additional 15% service fees. This restaurant I will consider one of the better seafood restaurant in Da Nang. When I was there the place is packed with people. I guess one of the reason is the price that they charge for the seafood are very reasonable. Most restaurants when you ask for Cold beer, they will give you ice in the cup to cool down the beer. I highly recommend not to put their ice in the glass, because the water issue is a major concern. Unless you don't mind having diarrhea. As to the food, you could taste the umami flavor of each seafood dishes. Another thing is that they are able to remove the shell of shrimp and crab, so it made it easier to eat.

Thr guy name phong who take care of our table is very nice and helpful, food came fast even some combo set we ordered came a bit late but acceptable because of rush hour and there are full table and customers. Food are delicious and best quality. Really recommended to try once you visit Danang beach.

Being listed in the Michelin Guide, I came with high expectations. The food was good, especially the vegetables and the unique lala. The squid was excellent as well. Now for the disappointing part: The place was quite dirty, as usual. The floor hadn’t been cleaned properly and was slippery (I even saw someone fall because of it). The tables were only wiped with tissue paper instead of a wet cloth, which felt careless. For a Michelin Guide restaurant, I expected much better standards of cleanliness. As for the fish, while it was tender, it didn’t taste fresh. It almost felt like it could have been swapped with another fish from the kitchen. Despite choosing from the live batch ourselves, the flavour didn’t meet my expectations of a freshly cut fish. Overall, the experience was nice, but there is definitely room for improvement. Cheers

In summary, not so great service but food is good. Most people will be very confused on how to order and question about the price. So besides the menu, you need to go to the water tanks where is so called “order area”, point to seafood, tell the quantity you need and how it should be cooked. The price of the seafood is on the wall, which I believe it changes every day. And also the options on how seafood can be cooked. The problem is: the one who is taking the order seems to be the only one who can speak English and Chinese, so she is very impatient and not listening to any questions. I saw one couple left because they asked questions and the waitress just ignore them! I managed to order regardless of her unhappy face, without knowing the exact price, and the options on how to cook the clams I ordered. Not great experience on ordering food. But the clams and crab I ordered were great! They are definitely fresh and tasty, roe crab was full of roe, the clams were very juicy. The rest of the staff were friendly, they helped me peel the crab, constantly help fill ice on beer for me. Overall good experience, and great value for money, would visit again.

Fantastic quality seafood and cooked with many different herbs like lemongrass, ginger, garlic, basil and mint. Prices are very transparent - you can see how much it costs per kg before you buy and they cook it in many different ways. The service is lightning fast. You order it and the food comes in minutes. Thye also offer to help you peel the programs, crabs and lobsters.

Local seafood place that you can choose your seafood and choose how to cook. The staff will recommend the portion just right to you. Appreciate the staff service that they will prepare the crab and shrimp for you. And they allow the fruit store outside to sell the fruit and eat inside the shop. Happy meal on our first night arrived.
