As a Korean, this is the best Korean restaurant for 3 simple reasons: 1) The food is even more delicious than in Korea. You don’t need to go to Korea to enjoy real Korean food. 2) The owner is very COOL, friendly and welcoming. The service is excellent. 3) The flavors are perfectly balanced — The food is not too salty. I often order delivery, but the food tastes even better when you eat here. I’m definitely a regular now — this place is my go-to Korean restaurant!

Our server, J, was incredibly warm and friendly. The food came out only after a short while—impressive, considering that the food was made fresh. The seafood pancake was crispy on the outside and perfectly fluffy on the inside. The portion sizes were quite generous, and both stews were really flavorful. I especially enjoyed the army stew because all the SPAM and sausages soaked up the spicy, savory broth and a sort of texture that went wonderfully with the rice. All the main dishes paired nicely with the side dishes. I will be going to this place many more times!

This place is hella good - coming from someone who absolutely loves kbbq, this is the ONE!! Only other kbbq in the city is Jong Kak and while they are great Be-One is a totally different vibe. Super laid back, not crowded, and it's all you can eat. They give FANTASTIC proportions and amazing bonchon like so many side dishes. And on top of that they give rice, lettuce leaves for wraps AND a side of tangsuyuk. Truly amazing - best bang for your buck when it comes to all you can eat kbbq. Oh and the staff is AMAZING!!! I accidentally left my purse and they made sure to keep it safe for me - they were super sweet and kind!!

I cannot put into words how much I love this place. The food, prices, and service are fantastic. But don’t take my word for it come here yourself.

I ordered the spicy chicken wings, beef bulgogi, white rice, and pan fried dumplings. Everything came out within 20 minutes of ordering. There was one woman greeting, seating, and serving customers. She was thorough in making sure my ordee was correct and that i was alright. I would come here again if i lived closeby.

This is an authentic Korean restaurant run my Korean. They know what the good Korean food is. Every dish s flavorful and unique. I have been there so many times since it opened about 13 years ago. Their all-you-can-eat BBQ is $27.5, one of the best prices in town. The dumpling soup can definitely warm you up on a cold day. And there are many more you will fall in love.

I came on a date and it was so tasty an amazing intimate spot! The food was authentic and delicious! The woman working came and helped us cook our meats and periodically checked in on us! The soju was great and I never knew they had a plum flavor! We devoured our food before we could take pics

Yelp
We have been searching for a great Korean restaurant since Nam Kang closed, and we had a great dinner at Be-One. The food was great, service was fast and friendly, we will definitely be back. My wife got the bibimbap which came out super hot and had the delicious crispy rice on the inside of the hot bowl. I had the jeyuk bokkeum which had great complex flavor, not just heat. The kimchi pancake and pan fried dumplings were also great.

Yelp
We originally came here for the all-you-can-eat but were told it no longer exists? Not sure! Either way, we got their meat combo (pork belly, bulgogi, chicken, etc) which was enough food for two, along with some tasty banchan! Lots of indoor seating with built in grills at each table. Service can be a bit slow, but overall very friendly.

Yelp
Me and my fiancé go here so many times throughout the week it's become a problem we loveee the atmosphere and the women that was serving us was so nice and friendly. The food is amazing and taste so crisp and fresh, I love the kimbap and dumplings I've been binging them heavy. The pork belly is nice and tasty and the sauces are to die for, absolutely rate this 100 stars

Yelp
Travelers be aware-bad neighborhood, we saw three druggies by the restaurants. Food wasn't great. I bet there are better Korean restaurants out there. The noodles are tasteless, and side dishes aren't fresh. Maybe bbq is better. Table was sticky, bring food one dos h out of time. I wouldn't recommend it.

Yelp
Came in for all-you-can-eat kbbq on a wednesday evening, during our 1.5 hours there, only one customer came in while we were dining. To start, the meal was $32.99 per person, after ordering a side of rice and tip - each person ended up paying about $50. The small sides came out first, it was a variety of things like kimchi. They also have you order a starter/larger side with the ayce meal, we were very confused when ordering however. Each person ordered something different, but some of the stuff was brought out for sharing and some for each individual person, would have been nice to know before ordering. The meats then began to come out, they were delicious, they just put a cookie pan on top of the table grill which I hadn't seen before, but it worked. Also although we were the only ones in the restaurant, there was a long wait time before each meat came out. This place had pretty good food, but the service and atmosphere were lacking

Yelp
It just isn't good. Definitely not worth $33. Firstly, though the server was nice, we were the only people in the establishment and the service went at snail pace. Then, they put foil on the grill so you're not able to get enough contact with the actual grill. Next, everything was just bland, which is completely ironic for Korean cuisine. For $33(m-Thursday price) you can go to so many other places in the DMV and actually enjoy your meal. It's a hole in the wall surrounded by vagrants. Begging when you enter and exit. I'd avoid. I especially regret this place as it was my niece's first KBBQ experience and it was near terrible. Typing this in the sketchy parking lot wishing I'd followed my first instinct and left when we saw the outside.

Yelp
Between you and me, I have a crush on one of the ajummas here - she doesn't know it but it's one of the reasons why I keep coming back. But onto what truly matters in a KBBQ establishment - the meat. Heaven all mighty how I could deceive you all by saying the meat was on a whole 'nother level, but honestly it isn't the best meat I've laid tongue on. Don't get me wrong, the meat isn't bad, but it definitely isn't the gold standard. Where this place truly shines is in its warm atmosphere of food and cheer. This is where you come to hang out with friends over good food and drinks. The servers here add to the boisterous atmosphere along with the blaring non-stop K-pop. Though I have enjoyed many occasions here with friends, it really isn't anything special compared to other Maryland KBBQ locations in Ellicott city and Rockville. However, it is the only place in Maryland that does KBBQ, a necessary pillar of Asian cuisine that needs to be represented. I believe the only thing holding this place back is the quality of meat. If it were higher and shown more attention, this place would be unstoppable. Alas, it still has a place in my heart. Would recommend and will be visiting again.

Yelp
TLDR: One of the best AUCE KBBQ spots in Baltimore/Baltimore County. Great selection of meats and side dishes with speedy service. Vibe: 3/5. Located in a strip mall in Station North, there is plenty of free spot parking making it easy to navigate to. The area can be a little suspect at night, but fortunately the parking lot is well lit with normally alot of foot traffic. The inside of Beone is that of your typical KBBQ restaurant. Several 4 top tables w/ burners and ventilation fans overhead. KPOP music videos play on loop throughout the entire restaurant as well as said artists adorning the walls of the restaurant in Soju advertisements. The restaurant can get stuffy with all the burners running, so dress accordingly! Service: 5/5. Service did a great job in tending to our burner and keeping the meat flowing. As KBBQ connoisseurs know, a server who is proficient in grill management is critical to a good KBBQ experience, especially when it's endless. We always had well cooked meat on our plates and was quick to change grill pans when needed. Food: 5/5. Every cut of meat we had was delicious and well prepared. Beone gives it's AUCE diners over a dozen meat choices to rotate through as well as a half dozen Korean side dishes such as tteokbokki and fried sweet sour pork. Highlights include the paper thin brisket and the pork belly.

Yelp
A hidden gem in a city strip mall. The inside tells its own story. A nice change from the corporate chain restaurant. Had the all you can eat BBQ. Such a good meal. The selection of protein was a bit limited but it was all well seasoned and fresh. The two sauces offered were very good, would still like a third for variety. That's just me being picky. The server was Jae(?). She was awesome. Very helpful and so nice. Made a good meal even better.

Yelp
This little gem has my heart. I come here often with my friends and S/O. Everything great you could ask for of a mom and pop type all you can eat meal(and regular dishes). 30 bucks for the best all you can eat Korean BBQ you can get anywhere. Only a couple people working including the awesome owner, she busts her ass everyday in this place and it sure is good. She always remembers me and gives me the same free appetizer I always like (but can't spell or pronounce correctly loI) would recommend this place to everyone itching for some good and filling food with traditional side dishes and accompaniments. Truly a great experience for all friends and family or just yourself. This place isn't a bougie modern done up place. It feels more like home. Don't be alarmed by the outdated ways of preparation. Here you won't regret the food or the price.

Yelp
Jay was amazing. I've never cooked my own BBQ and she was super helpful. Food was great! Would stop here again no question

Yelp
We stopped in here last weekend after a long day at the aquarium. We did the bottomless BBQ, and it was a steal! The bulgogi and spicy pork belly were our favorite items. Our waitress was good, not great. The ambiance was cute, K Pop and fun. They have a very limited drinks menu! The plain pork belly was lame. Really just thick cut bacon. We also had the Tin pork belly. It was better than plain, but still rather simple. The spicy pork belly was some of the best I've had anywhere though!

Yelp
I went to high school in Seoul South Korea so this place feels like "home". Great for lunch time. Friendly staff. Quick Service!

Yelp
There are several Korean restaurants located within a few miles of each other off Maryland ave. I have to say this is probably the better of the three. They offer an AYCE BBQ option which is what I love most! I recommend the pork belly, brisket and spicy pork. If you're normally a fan of rib eye (jumuluk) which I am, I wouldn't recommend getting it here. It is marinaded like other places but they serve it in a round cut so it tends to be tough and not tender like it should be. They do also offer additional sides in addition to the bbq items. Definitely get the rice cake and steamed egg. The service is quite nice too! The owners always there and very friendly and attentive. Don't be too scared of the location, but do stay mindful of your belongings out in plain sight in your car. They do have a great big parking lot so you don't have to worry about parking or walking far.

Yelp
Excellent good food and service. Delivery is always rather great as well. My go to place for Korean food which happens to be my favorite. Also a pretty eccentric wait staff guy who makes amazing drinks tables side sometimes. Love his energy.

Yelp
The food was amazing! Service was a little slow but the nice guy took our order and made really good hot tea! The food was so good! The beef brisket was good, their chop chae was amazing, the soon du bu was delicious! The fried dumplings were good and their kim chee was excellent! The cold noodle soup was different, as I was expecting the noodle to be more grey in color. They were white and chewy consistency was so yummy! Tater like buckwheat noodles but didn't look like it. I would drive back here to eat again!

Yelp
Went in to dine. The place needs an upgrade but the food is still very good. The server we had was so sweet and quick even though he had many tables. He seems like he cares for the restaurant more than a job and it makes me want to come again.

Yelp
In typical Vog fashion we headed across town in the Mt. Vernon area for some KBBQ. Originally based on chance and choice of stranger's hand we were supposed to go elsewhere- but made the executive decision to head here. Vog took care of ordering - however, I added steamed dumplings. Felt like I needed to be a part of it. Ordered beef bbq for the table which comes with sides etc as is the norm - and with using chopsticks it can get dicey. The woman who took care of our table was very nice and made small talk as she cooked for us- also giving us a free egg jaunp and some soup - as well as a couple of kimchi pancakes which were good however I wished the kimchi was more chopped up inside the item. Bulgogi and spicy beef was very good - and in terms of the pork back bacon I would have liked it a little more crispy. Overall it was very good - can't say the scenery was great or the surrounding area was nice but the food was good and I enjoyed it.

Yelp
This was my first time ordering from here and will definitely come again. If you're in a crunch for time, order ahead for pickup. The midday lunch rush wait can definitely burn away your lunchtime. The lunchbox is kind of a little bit of everything. I enjoyed everything (except the fish cakes but that is absolutely personal preference). The tteokbokki had way more veg than I was used to but it was pleasantly spicy. Besides the lunchboxes, the servings are generous. Everything was delicious and I look forward to trying other items on the menu.

Yelp
YUM! I will start off by saying that I haven't been to many Korean restaurants so my knowledge on the food is limited. We asked a friend that has been to this location multiple times for suggestions. She recommended us to order the calamari and spicy tofu soup. I ordered the beef and octopus. The calamari was soo good! I highly recommend it! The entrees came with a bunch of little plates which were all interesting. I really liked the potato salad and the mayo/veggie salad, those were really tasty. If you have 2 or more people eating barbecue then they turn on the heating stove, but since I was the only one who ordered barbecue they cooked it for me and brought it out The area was a bit random, but there's a parking lot which is good. The location is in a small strip mall so it makes it easier to find!
google avatar

Sthevanie L.

Yelp
So this is a tricky review lol The location is not the best in the city and the restaurant could use some upgrades especially because the food is out on top of aluminum foil which the food kept getting stuck on. Moving on to the food. It was great probably some of the best seasoned and tasting Korean bbq I've had. Even the chicken was great. The spicy Bulgogi I wouldn't recommend but that might just be my taste.

Jack L.

Yelp
Had a wonderful experience at B1! We did the all you can eat barbecue. Jade, our server, was incredibly attentive and helpful. The meats were flavorful and the rice was cooked perfectly. An excellent dinner from top to bottom!

Yelp
3.5 out of 5 - This place is in a pretty questionable area - honestly not my first pick for korean restaurants in the Baltimore area but the food is decent. The soups / jjigaes here are pretty watered down and not as savory as I would like. The space is very outdated and it's almost always empty every time I come here. The banchan (side dishes) were pretty generic and didn't taste very fresh to me. I heard that they have all you can eat korean BBQ which I would want to try one day. I just don't think the food was very memorable for me and as a korean food veteran, it was nothing to write home about and not worth the trek to this questionable neighborhood. The atmosphere was dead, the service was good (but that may have been because I talked to the servers in korean), but most importantly, the food was just okay at a similar price point of more delicious and worthwhile korean food options that are right across the street.

Yelp
We've been regulars at this place since 2016. They probably just changed management, and the change is definitely noticeable. 1) The food is not nearly as good as it used to be. I ordered a squid stir fry, which is one of the most expensive items on the menu ($25), and it was mostly zucchini and cabbage. Not very flavorful either. We normally take leftovers home with us--not this time. 2) They REALLY need to work on their service. My main dish arrived a good 25-30 minutes after a family member at my table was already DONE eating theirs. All main dishes should arrive around THE SAME TIME. And by the way, it's not that the restaurant was full: only 2 tables, including ours, had customers. However, while I was waiting for my food, at least half a dozen people came to pick up food to go (probably for delivery services, like UberEats and the such). I feel that customers that are IN THE RESTAURANT should be given priority over those who are not. It's a shame, because we really used to like this place.

Brayden A.

Yelp
Phenomenal food with excellent service. The waitstaff is friendly and personable while also maintaining a level of professionalism. I have been here over 5 times in the last year and each time I have never been disappointed. If you are unsure how to cook your own meat, they will assist you. They're all you can eat is definitely a force to be reckoned with, and not something you should pass up.

Yelp
Well, we had a medium sized group set to eat at Be-One, but as we sat we realized that we didn't recognize any of the staff and the menu had changed. Police were interviewing one of the staff (which isn't the restaurant's fault) about a recent theft, and we studied the new menu to see what we could order. Gone was Kalbi, and Saeng Kalbi - so we asked whether the ownership had changed. The answer, of course, was yes. The pan-chan came out, which were 3 dishes for our party of 7 - 3 small, sad, lonely, desiccated, pale, pan-chan, none of which were kimchi (One was a non-steaming lump of rice with black sesame). We inquired whether there would be more, and the response was that that was all they had prepared. That was enough for us. Perhaps the new ownership will re-calibrate and re-optimize, but this is not a that I can recognize anymore.

Yelp
I used to go here with my coworkers all the time pre-COVID but haven't been back in a while. When I finally went back, I was super disappointed. I was told the restaurant was under new management and the menu items has changed a bit. When I tried to order, I found out that half the items on the menu was unavailable. The lady even said there's not much options for a Korean person. Huh? I thought I came to a "Korean" restaurant?! She recommended the dumpling soup so I decided to get that and my husband got the bulgogi lunchbox since all other items we wanted wasn't available. The taste of dumpling soup was decent but not very authentic. There was total of six dumplings in the soup with some sliced bell peppers and onions. As for the bulgogi lunchbox; I'm not really sure what type of meat was used because the texture was really weird, bit rubbery and tasteless. And one fried dumpling that came with it had frozen center. Only thing that was good was the fried chicken. The server was nice to us but I honestly don't think I'll be coming back to this place again.

Yelp
This is one of my fav place to get korean food in Baltimore. One of the best features is full of side dishes, there are around 10 different dishes on the table for you and some of them you won't be able to find at different restaurant and they are free to refill. I love eating side dishes while waiting for foods, they are very nice to snack while chatting with friends. The food portions are very reasonable and very korean. I got soongdubu and the soup is very thick and tasty. We also ordered one dishes of grill meats but since we only get 1, it was cooked in the kitchen. But it came out super fresh and we all love it. Grill meats taste so much better with all the side dishes that they got. I would definitely come back in the future to try other soup and noodles. The menu is very numerous with soup; noddles and meats with reasonable prices.
google avatar

Malaya K.

Yelp
Service: Slow and inattentive despite only one other table in the restaurant. I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt, but eventually had to flag someone down after 25 minutes. Food: Decent. Limited side dishes.

Yelp
One of my favorite places in Baltimore. Have been able to visit a few times now that pandemic restrictions have been lifted, once for Korean bbq and once for Jajangmyeon. I love their new all you can eat bbq option that runs Friday-Sunday. Good and varied meat options! While the banchan was a little lacking there were some amazing free sides like the steamed egg and some fried chicken that came as part of the all you can eat package. When I went for Jajangmyeon there was a mistake where they put in rice instead of noodles but they were incredibly quick about fixing the issue. It does seem like maybe there is new management/service staff post pandemic but it continues to be a restaurant I can't wait to go back to. If you've never been, definitely give it a try

Yelp
I am a little late in writing a review for this establishment as I have been busy the last few weeks. Came in for the AYCE option with my friend and his son. We also ordered a mandu-guk that the owner added tteok to for us and an order of mandu on the side. The customer service was wonderful. The food was amazing as well. The AYCE came with alot of amazing side-dishes that you get on top of the ban chan. Everything was delicious and the prices can't be beat. I will definitely be back for more.

Yelp
I've only stopped by here twice in the last 2 months (1st time around only looked at the menu) and on each occasion there were ZERO customers dining in, which is a telltale sign of a bad restaurant. Tonight, I sat in for dinner as a party of 2 around 6PM. The owners were eating in one corner with the wait staff and there was no one else around. The owner lady stood over our shoulder while we examined the menu, suggesting we try this or that and how they are known for their K-BBQ. We got the yookgaejang (spicy beef soup) and spicy pork (jeyook) rice bowl both $10.99. It probably took a good 15 minutes (felt like a long wait) before our main dishes came out, which I found to be strange since they didn't appear busy at all. The dining table surface was sticky/unclean or not wiped in a while, and the utensils we were served felt slightly sticky as well. The server set us up with 5 banchan with 3/5 of them being SUPER SPICY (red chili flakes). The biggest disappointment was the Yookgaejang however, which literally tasted like Chinese hot pot mala soup base you can buy at the Asian supermarket (we even found whole peppercorns) and chock full of MSG. The beef was not the traditional cut used for this soup, and it had freaking MUSHROOMS floating around (which is not supposed to be there). My poor mom was too polite to complain about her order even though it was also insanely spicy but it was seriously the worst faux "yookgaejang" we've ever had. I got the sense that the only patrons of this place are people who don't know what authentic Korean food is supposed to taste like. They do a lot of takeout by Uber. My rice bowl was decent. But if a Korean restaurant can't get their soups right, I don't know what they're doing in the kitchen. I told the owner lady how bad the Yookgaejang was and she claimed the taste is because it's "fusion" and cast blame on the chef cuz she doesn't know. The chef is her husband, who happened to step out when I was talking. He apologized but didn't disclose what they did to make the soup taste that awful way and said some other person in the kitchen "made a lot of it". He offered a discount, but his wife refused and they'd already swiped my card. Bad service considering the owner lady boasted how great XYZ on their menu is before we ordered and how she wouldn't take our money if something tasted bad. Nevertheless, I will never be coming back here again.

Yelp
From the moment we walked in the people working were very friendly. We got all you can eat , but could hardly finish the 4 meats we had because of how much food they give you. This was my first time trying tteokbokki and it's now one of my favorite foods! All the side dishes were amazing, especially the kimchi! The person I was with decided to order fries and I wasn't expecting them to be very good compared to everything else we had gotten but these are hands down the best fries I've ever tasted. I'm so happy I stumbled across this place because it's now on my top list of Korean restaurants.

Yelp
We ordered two all-you-can-eats, which by their price, is a great deal. The food was excellent. The service was very attentive. Order the egg thing.

Yelp
I ordered delivery from this place through UberEats. I ordered Wang Kalbi Tang (), Jjajangmyeon (), and Seafood Pancake (). Overall, the flavors were decent. We were, however, not expecting the taste to be non-traditional, hybrid. We also waited an additional 45 minutes for this food to be delivered by no fault of the driver--I was keeping up-to-date with the food tracker every 5 minutes. The Jjajangmyeon was watery and bland. The noodles felt like spaghetti, but maybe that was caused by the in-transit container steam. The Seafood Pancake was too soft, soggy, and bloated. It should be thin, crispy, and chewy. Furthermore, there was nowhere near enough sauce for the pancakes. The Wang Kalbi Tang was delicious and well-made. The meat was nice, tender, and plentiful. The soup could have used a bit more seasoning. The side dishes () were disappointing. We were satisfied with neither the taste nor the variety. The standard cabbage kimchi () was nowhere to be seen. Considering the menu price, I am not convinced that this place is worth either the money or the time.

Yelp
This place was ok I guess. They didn't give us a refill on anything besides water, & it's all you can eat bbq. The vegetables weren't that great or seasoned tastefully at all. We had brisket & chicken from the BBQ menu. The brisket was so so & the chicken was heavily seasoned, & not in a good way, The fire on our grill was turned up high & the food kept popping us, & the waitress turned the fire off when the chicken was undercooked, sigh. My niece didn't care for the food at all, & I felt bad because normally Korean BBQ experiences are amazing. Another one...

Yelp
Loved the side dishes that come with every order(I am guessing that they come with every order). They were interesting! My main dish was a seafood bibimbap. It was served in a heavy stone bowl and the food was piping hot. I coughed for a couple of minutes because of the fumes from the dish. It was soooooperrr hot. I set the dish aside for a few minutes and slowly worked on the soup and the side dishes. They were all delicious! By the time I returned to my main dish, it was still very hot to eat. And the most disappointing part was that most of the rice got burnt and stuck to the bottom of the dish. I didn't understand why they had to serve it so bizarrely hot! Whatever was left in the bowl and not burnt made a decent meal. I ended the dinner with a complimentary yogurt drink. It was good. Overall, it was an interesting experience. I will be going back here with a couple of friends to try their barbecue dishes.

Yelp
Checked this place out on August 5th (via DoorDash). My wife got the Bulgogi and I got the Pork Belly BBQ. She liked her Bulgogi a lot, seasoning and spices were on point, just melt in your mouth goodness. BUT.... I got something extra in my Pork Belly BBQ, something I did not order nor would. Hair. Not just one strand mind you but THREE. Hair. In my food. gross. But that aside, before discovering the folicles, I enjoyed the pork belly, but nowhere near enough sauce. Was it supposed to be Korean BBQ sauce to come with it? I am a sauce lover, gotta have sauce. We tried 'em again on the 13th, you know I try to be fair and give a place a second chance. We both got the Bulgogi and all was well with the world. This meal, as before, was seasoned well and melted in your mouth. We also had the Kimchee and a few other sides, they were delicious in their own right. Overall the quality (let's forget the hair for a moment) was good and consistent for each visit. And the prices were reasonable, between $30 & $40 for a two person meal. We'll come back, will just probably avoid the Pork Belly BBQ

Yelp
This place is so delicious! As a Korean, I am pretty picky when it comes to Korean food, and Be-One is amazing! Their meat is so flavorful and reasonably priced. I've had their bulgogi, spicy pork, and kalbi. The banchan (side dishes) are very fresh and flavorful. I've also had several different soups and they're all on point!! So far, it's the best Korean bbq that I've found in Baltimore city!

Yelp
Hmm how to review this place. I really liked the selection of banchan. Seafood pancake was thiccc (relative to other ones that I've had before) but quite good. The barbecue items that we got were quite good (galbi, bulgogi) but the grill was a smooth, tilted surface without a lot of drainage so a lot of the liquid remained around the meat and caused the texture to be a little off. Would definitely go back though!

Yelp
Really good BBQ restaurant. If they didn't raise the price I'll give them 5 stars. Unfortunately, they did.

Yelp
Update April 2016: Came back again for different dishes. Updating the food, stars remain the same. - Soondubu: it was OK. Wasn't giving a choice for how spicy I wanted and it was just at the threshold for me. No egg to drop in. The soup base was...pedestrian. If you want Soondubu I still recommend Lighthouse in Ellicott City. - Marinated beef: the lowest cost beef BBQ dish on the menu, and once again because it was a single order they cooked it in the back. As always the BBQ was excellent. Banchan is awesome as always. Oh and rice is now not porridge wet and actually pretty OK. Update December 2015: Came back to check out different foods. And I'm further deducting a star based on this experience. - Beef skewer: only ordered one so it was cooked in the back without any regard for my preference. The meat was not only the saltiest thing I've ever tasted, the meat chewed like leather, and it sucked A LOT. My advice: steer away from the skewers if you're not cooking yourself (I think you need to order at least two or three to get the honor of cooking it yourself). - Shabu Shabu: had both pork and beef. Pork was good, but beef once again disappointed. Not only was the portion tiny for the price, the small tiny slices they served shrank into oblivion and despite the thin slice was also tough to chew on. If you want hotpot, don't come here. Banchan was, once again, the shining star of the meal. They refused to refill the vermicelli and pancake banchan, which I think is kind of stingy. Rice: once again way too moist, a little more moisture and you're talking porridge. In conclusion: come here for the BBQ, banchan, and be happy.

Yelp
I would say BeOne has improved a lot in the past few years, we experienced very bad service a couple of years before and decided never to come back, until when a friend was visiting and picked here for lunch. Everything was much better than before. There are a lot more small dish items, price has not increased much but service is much better. The food is still delicious, we love seafood pancake, kalbi tang, pork neck soup and seafood noodle soup. For around 10-15 bucks, you can enjoy a nice and decent lunch. Their Korean BBQ is more expensive and would suit better for larger group of people (4+) though. After a few times of visit recently, this place is back to our top Korean food choice in the area :-)

Yelp
Delicious cheap comfort Korean food. Came here on a cold Sunday morning and was so satisfied coming out. I'd recommend the Chammpong (seafood noodles soup), the galbitang and the bossam. The side dishes were abundant and kimchi was good! The galbi and pork belly was decent but it was good for the price. I don't think this place was reviewed fairly in the past and I'd suggest you give this little gem hole in the wall place a try! Also, the service was superb and the ladies there were super attentive and nice!

Yelp
This site is my favorite site. Of all restaurants I know I love it most. I always suggests to my friends to go to that place. when I feel like having a good lunch, this is the place that comes first to my mind. good and all kinds of food and a large menu.well mannered staff, and agreeable vibes. Not less important, the bill is decent. I suggest this place with great pleasure.

Yelp
TLDR: Food: 3/10 Customer service: 3/10 Atmosphere: 3/10 Will not return, ever again My wife and I have recently moved to Baltimore from Oakland, California, and we are craving some good Korean BBQ. Be-One was the first one we've tried and it was kinda disappointing. Food was a bit low quality even for its price. The customer service was not good. I have two issues with how they treat their customers. First, the person, who I assume is the owner, refused to change our table when the built-in grill is broken and give us a portable one. She set up quiet dangerously, and I had to told her to fix the orientation of the grill so it won't point toward my wife. In addition, when the meat is arrived at the table, the staffs - especially the owner lady - just throw everything onto the grill, and that's kinda rude. I'd like to cook the meat myself, my way, to avoid mixing the flavor of marinated and unmarinated meat.
