Visited today and the first thing I’ll say is the atmosphere is absolutely excellent. The space is open, warm, and very well decorated, probably one of the nicest dining rooms in the area. Cozy lounge areas, and a clean, modern layout. From the moment you walk in, the place really does make a strong impression. Our server was very friendly, welcoming, and polite, but the service itself felt a little slow and uncoordinated. Nothing rude or negative, just not as efficient as it could have been. We ordered several breakfast items, and everything looked great. The presentation was spot-on: waffles with butter, cut fries, eggs, bacon, biscuits & gravy, all visually appealing and plated nicely. However, the biggest downside was the temperature and flavor. The food didn’t come out hot; at best it was lukewarm. The flavors were okay, but not memorable or “I’d come back just for this” quality. Considering how good everything looked, the taste fell a little short. Overall, it’s a beautiful restaurant with a great vibe and friendly staff, but for the price point and appearance, I expected the food to taste fresh/ better and come out hot. Room to improve, especially on execution and flavor.

We were meeting a family member here after they attended the race. Being from Salem, we were about an hour and a half away but it was worth every bite! The server knew about food allergies and was above and beyond helpful on keeping us in the know on gluten free!(thank you Caydense!) One of the guys ordered the pancakes with Homefries, bacon, and eggs. We ordered the GF french toast. It was absolutely the biggest and best tasting breakfast I've had in a while! The store was very cute with decorated areas, attention to every detail, clean restrooms, and a shop area that had the theme of the restaurant. It was not crowded (we arrived at opening time) and our food came quickly. I had a 9-month old baby with me. They had clean high chairs and a changing area in the restroom for her. We loved the visit! It's worth the drive💙

Plenty of parking. Very clean inside. Atmosphere was good. Was not very busy at time of visit. Food looked amazing and portions were beyond what expected.. food was fresh but got very cold very quick and the air was not even on to cool food off si not sure why it got so cold so fast. I got French toast and ate a half a piece and it was cold before I could eat anymore. That was a waste because it is not good reheated. Same for flapjacks but they did not get as cold as quickly. Service was okay considering it was not busy- could have been more attentive to see what we may have needed without us having to ask. I do suggest they come up with a way to have food keep warm so people can eat what they are paying for. I even mentioned this to waitress and she said it is a common complaint people have. Also the waitress were too busy talking with each other when they should have been checking on if their customers needed anything. Good size space for business events. Overall does need improvement in all areas- or the business will not make it.

I went early this morning around 9 and had the best experience! The restaurant is beautiful and has a cozy, welcoming vibe. The service was excellent and the food was incredible! The whipped cream was so fluffy and delightful and the fries had such a great flavor. Everything was wonderful! The owner took the time to show us the maple syrup that was made by a little family in Vermont 🥰 everything was magical ✨

I had such a great experience at Be Witched! The entire staff was super friendly, but Daisy went above and beyond she was incredibly warm and welcoming. I sat alone at the bar and felt completely comfortable the whole time. The avocado toast was a 10/10… absolutely delicious. I’ll definitely be back!

The Blue Print Sandwich: perfect sandwich and home fries, very tasty. The Biscuits & Gravy: absolutely horrible! Bone dry, crunchy, minimal gravy, super salty. Yuck! Staff and friendly and love to share exactly what you get for each menu item.

They have the best French toast I've ever had in my entire life and I love French toast. Also they're fried peanut butter and jelly sandwich that is on the kids menu just get the sandwich it is so delicious it should be a dessert. Great service and a good environment. This is going to be my new go-to spot for breakfast and brunch.

Yelp
I ordered the French toast, and let me tell you--it was enchanting. Thick slices of perfectly golden toast, dusted with powdered sugar, served with a generous scoop of homemade whipped cream (not the canned stuff!) and fresh berries that added the perfect balance of sweet and tart. The presentation was beautiful, almost too pretty to eat--but I powered through for the sake of research (you're welcome). The staff was friendly, the vibe was cozy and welcoming, and the food came out quick but tasted like someone's grandma had been working on it since dawn. This is the kind of breakfast that makes you slow down and savor the morning. If you're in or around Martinsville and craving something sweet, don't sleep on Be Wiched--this spot has some serious magic on the menu.

Yelp
Such a great find in downtown Martinsville. You can tell that the honors and chef have really thought out the menu and each of the dishes we tried it was really nice.

Yelp
Nice bright open atmosphere. I loved the potato fries that were topped with maple syrup and brown sugar. The Rachel sandwich was huge and very good. I had to take half of the sandwich and most of the fries home. Our waitress was very attentive and helpful. I loved the little store that was stocked with holiday items.

Yelp
First, I love the atmosphere. Our young waitress was amazing, so helpful and patient. The food was really good and huge portion sizes. Only problem we had was the beignets were extremely greasy. Please dry them out before serving. I will go back for breakfast soon!

Yelp
Great atmosphere and super service! Karen is the best. Love having this new restaurant in downtown Martinsville. Beignets are the best item here!! Worth a trip just for them. The buffalo chicken grilled cheese was terrific as well - French fries are also very good. But the sweet potato fries were disappointing - unripe potato obviously. And the chicken on the goat your own way salad was very dry and overcooked. Nevertheless, this is a great place and we'll be back ... for the beignets!!

Yelp
When we arrived, the servers were hustling. There was a 20 minute wait because they were very busy. The menu was appropriately long; enough choices so there was something for ever but not overwhelming. I ordered a BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger with fries and my wife ordered the BBQ Grilled Cheese. They were both fantastic! It was a little bit of a wait, but very worth it! All of the food is made fresh from scratch. That will take a little longer than just microwaving something. Our server proudly let us know that even their ranch dressing is made in house! The portion sizes were perfect and our server checked in on us and refilled our drinks regularly. We were in again for breakfast the other day which was equally enjoyable. We will definitely be returning often!

Yelp
Pretty mid. Food was ok. When for breakfast and it was meh. Tried their cinnamon rolls, which had bacon on top, not sure why they did that. The roll was also super dry. Had to chase my server for the bill and the rest of the staff stated the same. But they got a parking lot so I guess that's a plus

Yelp
Service was good. The food was good as well but a little "heavy". Their double fried fries are soggy because they refry them too soon. I had to take half my sandwich to go, the portion was good size.

Yelp
This place is a brunch gem! Saturday morning was super busy so we waited for our food but it was worth the wait. Huge portions, everything scratch made and quality ingredients. We will definitely be back!

Yelp
This new restaurant in the town of Martinsville has great potential. We had lunch there and it was mostly okay. My friend had the cinnamon roll, I had the maple bacon fries, and we split a GOAT salad. The cinnamon roll looked very good, and my friend said it was scrumptious. I want to try that next time. My maple bacon fries were a disappointment. The waitress said they were sweet potato fries with maple bacon topping. When they arrived they were NOT fries, they were just large chunks of sweet potato. That was a bummer. But then I began to look for the bacon and for the life of me I could not find it. I soon realized there was no bacon. I felt extremely disappointed, and cannot recommend the bacon topped fries, which in reality are large chunks of sweet potato with a light glaze and NO bacon anywhere. That is the reason my rating is 3 stars. The GOAT salad was very good, with fresh raspberries, strawberries, and blueberries mixed with arugula, goat cheese, and grilled chicken. There was a nice raspberry vinaigrette on everything, not overly heavy, which is good. I very muched liked it and my friend agreed. The only thing I'd change was the size, the salad was not overly large. All in all, the place was fun, if a bit strangely situated in a too-large space. I will probably return.
