I went early this morning around 9 and had the best experience! The restaurant is beautiful and has a cozy, welcoming vibe. The service was excellent and the food was incredible! The whipped cream was so fluffy and delightful and the fries had such a great flavor. Everything was wonderful! The owner took the time to show us the maple syrup that was made by a little family in Vermont 🥰 everything was magical ✨

I work out of town but live in Henry County. My family and I usually go out of town because we don't have many restaurants to eat at here. My son's teacher told him about Be Wiched so he wanted to try. The service and food is amazing. It has me feeling like going back home and getting into bed 😂 but we have errands to run. Come out and support this local business. I pray it is here to stay.

They have the best French toast I've ever had in my entire life and I love French toast. Also they're fried peanut butter and jelly sandwich that is on the kids menu just get the sandwich it is so delicious it should be a dessert. Great service and a good environment. This is going to be my new go-to spot for breakfast and brunch.

The Blue Print Sandwich: perfect sandwich and home fries, very tasty. The Biscuits & Gravy: absolutely horrible! Bone dry, crunchy, minimal gravy, super salty. Yuck! Staff and friendly and love to share exactly what you get for each menu item.

AMAZING FOOD. I would especially recommend the Avocado Toast, I cannot describe how cool and unique of an atmosphere this place had along with the amazing food. Highly recommend if you have an hour… just note the service is not the quickest (even for a sit down restaurant)

The food here is great! The open space is off-putting, it felt awkward upon entering and it felt silly to be sitting on top of everyone with so much space. I felt like everyone was invited to my conversation and vice versa. Food was great though!

We were excited to see another breakfast option open up in Martinsville, having traveled quite often for new fare over the years. Though our options were a bit limited on our first visit due to the proximity to their inital launch, we look forward to returning for Beignets and Eggs Benedict. The staff was wonderful and accomodating, we met the owners and gave our input on the syrup (it was delicious, as was their hand-made whipped cream), and we didn't wait long for service. The atmosphere was a little sparse, but very well laid out with seating at a bar and a nice waiting area. I'd love to see some local art or something on the walls, and look forward to seeing how they fill the remaining space. Finally, the food was delicious, and very filling. We had french toast with fresh fruit, and it was very fresh. The portions were large and well-prepared. We will be returning for another great meal, and perhaps one of those adorable shirts!

The only downsides for me were the sweet potato fries and the turkey bacon. The fries did not seem fully cooked. They had a grainy, almost apple-like texture and were hard to bite through. I also unfortunately found a strand of hair on one of them, which deterred me from finishing the rest. The turkey bacon was okay, though the ends were a bit burnt. The pumpkin cinnamon roll was my favorite and it was absolutely delicious. The portion sizes were also amazing and very generous for the price. The pancakes were just as I expected, so no complaints there. Overall, my meal was good and I really enjoyed certain parts of it, but I am not sure I would spend over $50 again for the experience.

Yelp
I ordered the French toast, and let me tell you--it was enchanting. Thick slices of perfectly golden toast, dusted with powdered sugar, served with a generous scoop of homemade whipped cream (not the canned stuff!) and fresh berries that added the perfect balance of sweet and tart. The presentation was beautiful, almost too pretty to eat--but I powered through for the sake of research (you're welcome). The staff was friendly, the vibe was cozy and welcoming, and the food came out quick but tasted like someone's grandma had been working on it since dawn. This is the kind of breakfast that makes you slow down and savor the morning. If you're in or around Martinsville and craving something sweet, don't sleep on Be Wiched--this spot has some serious magic on the menu.

Yelp
Such a great find in downtown Martinsville. You can tell that the honors and chef have really thought out the menu and each of the dishes we tried it was really nice.

Yelp
Nice bright open atmosphere. I loved the potato fries that were topped with maple syrup and brown sugar. The Rachel sandwich was huge and very good. I had to take half of the sandwich and most of the fries home. Our waitress was very attentive and helpful. I loved the little store that was stocked with holiday items.

Yelp
First, I love the atmosphere. Our young waitress was amazing, so helpful and patient. The food was really good and huge portion sizes. Only problem we had was the beignets were extremely greasy. Please dry them out before serving. I will go back for breakfast soon!

Yelp
Great atmosphere and super service! Karen is the best. Love having this new restaurant in downtown Martinsville. Beignets are the best item here!! Worth a trip just for them. The buffalo chicken grilled cheese was terrific as well - French fries are also very good. But the sweet potato fries were disappointing - unripe potato obviously. And the chicken on the goat your own way salad was very dry and overcooked. Nevertheless, this is a great place and we'll be back ... for the beignets!!

Yelp
Great place for breakfast or lunch. Quick friendly service and a nice atmosphere! I had the French toast and my husband had the breakfast sandwich. Would definitely go back!

Yelp
When we arrived, the servers were hustling. There was a 20 minute wait because they were very busy. The menu was appropriately long; enough choices so there was something for ever but not overwhelming. I ordered a BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger with fries and my wife ordered the BBQ Grilled Cheese. They were both fantastic! It was a little bit of a wait, but very worth it! All of the food is made fresh from scratch. That will take a little longer than just microwaving something. Our server proudly let us know that even their ranch dressing is made in house! The portion sizes were perfect and our server checked in on us and refilled our drinks regularly. We were in again for breakfast the other day which was equally enjoyable. We will definitely be returning often!

Yelp
Pretty mid. Food was ok. When for breakfast and it was meh. Tried their cinnamon rolls, which had bacon on top, not sure why they did that. The roll was also super dry. Had to chase my server for the bill and the rest of the staff stated the same. But they got a parking lot so I guess that's a plus

Yelp
Service was good. The food was good as well but a little "heavy". Their double fried fries are soggy because they refry them too soon. I had to take half my sandwich to go, the portion was good size.

Yelp
This place is a brunch gem! Saturday morning was super busy so we waited for our food but it was worth the wait. Huge portions, everything scratch made and quality ingredients. We will definitely be back!

Yelp
This new restaurant in the town of Martinsville has great potential. We had lunch there and it was mostly okay. My friend had the cinnamon roll, I had the maple bacon fries, and we split a GOAT salad. The cinnamon roll looked very good, and my friend said it was scrumptious. I want to try that next time. My maple bacon fries were a disappointment. The waitress said they were sweet potato fries with maple bacon topping. When they arrived they were NOT fries, they were just large chunks of sweet potato. That was a bummer. But then I began to look for the bacon and for the life of me I could not find it. I soon realized there was no bacon. I felt extremely disappointed, and cannot recommend the bacon topped fries, which in reality are large chunks of sweet potato with a light glaze and NO bacon anywhere. That is the reason my rating is 3 stars. The GOAT salad was very good, with fresh raspberries, strawberries, and blueberries mixed with arugula, goat cheese, and grilled chicken. There was a nice raspberry vinaigrette on everything, not overly heavy, which is good. I very muched liked it and my friend agreed. The only thing I'd change was the size, the salad was not overly large. All in all, the place was fun, if a bit strangely situated in a too-large space. I will probably return.
