Be Your Lash is my absolute favorite way to unwind. The studio is gorgeous - tasteful and elegant decor, floor to ceiling windows, tons of natural light, and the best techs ever. Joo is the owner has created a lash sanctuary. My favorite tech is Judy! I genuinely look forward to every three weeks when I get to decompress under her care. She’s amazing at lash application and has even changed up my lash style based on my questions and requests. She has an amazingly calm and steady demeanor and creates a safe space for all of her clients. I can’t recommend her enough! The amount of times I’ve laughed, almost cried, and shared joy in my life during our sessions is more than I can count. I highly recommend Be Your Lash! This small oasis in the middle of the city is the best place to get your lashes done. Support small women-owned business!

Especially for those of us who are first-timers or newbies with lashes 😊 Judy is super helpful with answering any and all questions and getting an understanding of the "look" you're going for. Time always flies both because she is so pleasant and efficient / highly skilled with her craft!

First time getting my lashes done at Be Your Lash (BYL) and it definitely did not disappoint. I scheduled an appointment with Judy thru the online booking system and it was easy. Judy's suite is so cute and cozy, and it smelled so nice too! We discussed the type of lash extension style that I like and we opted for the hybrid round style because I like them long and voluminous. I had some minor stinging from the glue fumes, but Judy made sure to dry them and repeatedly ask if there's any discomfort. My lashes turned out great. It's been 5 days and there's been very minimal fallout. Note that BYL is very strict with their 3-week refill policy from what I was told. If you don't get a fill before the 3-week timeframe, then you're automatically charged for a new set next time.

Best lash lift and brow lamination I have ever had. It was painless - I actually fell asleep I was so comfortable. The DTLA location has only one station and the treatment is relaxing, professional, and private. Joo was amazing, I am so happy with my lashes and brows!

Easy location to find and in a cool historical building! Easy to book online! But also just a relaxing place

Joo is amazing. She's very professional, has the sweetest and gentlest demeanor which also extends to the way she performs her work, and is such a joy to work with. I first got my lashes done for this last Coachella and let me tell you - they were put to the test in the heat, humidity, dust, dancing and moving all day/night etc. They lasted and I barely had any fallout, even almost 3 weeks later. She did such a great job! I got the hybrid set and I love them! If you have example photos of a lash style you like, bring them in and she will gladly work her magic. Fills are recommended before the 3 week mark but she does such a good job, I honestly felt like I could have come back in a month. It is advantageous to come back early because the fills are almost half the cost of a full set. Parking is tough in this area but there's a paid lot across the street. All appointments can be made online so make sure you snag a spot in advance!

My experience at Be Your Lash was truly 5 stars and I recommend booking them for any of your eyelash needs in LA. The suites are adorable and extremely clean. Excellent service, they also provide reference photos and information on lash styles if you have questions on what you'd like. I asked for a fluffy cat eye hybrid that wasn't too long for my glasses & that's exactly what I received. I have pretty sensitive eyes and skin and I had zero irritation, which is always great! Booking: easy to schedule online and the staff reached out via text with all the details. There is new client pricing and there are also 2-3 week fill options to rebook. Parking: I was able to walk over but they do have parking details on the website if you need them. Allow yourself a few minutes to enter the building and take the elevator etc.

I've been getting my lashes done here for a few months now and I liked it because it was within close proximity to where I live, but I don't think I'll be frequenting this place any longer. I normally get lash extensions here but wanted to take a break in order to nurture my natural lashes so I opted for an extension removal + lash lift. I've gotten many lash lifts done elsewhere and honestly speaking, this is one of the worst lash lift results I've ever had. The lashes on one eye are at a much higher angle than the other and it doesn't seem like they put the silicone pad at the base because it dents halfway up my lashes instead of having that curl a lash lift is supposed to give. I also have a few wonky lashes on each eye that are bent sideways and a couple near the inner corner of my eye that are touching my lid and extremely uncomfortable. Also, it seems like they've recently hired a new person here who has been shadowing Joo. Shadowing to me is someone watching over the shoulder of the experienced worker. During my last appointment, Joo started my fill and then the new girl stepped in towards the end. And this time she pretty much did my removal and lash lift from beginning to end. Even though my eyes are closed throughout the appointment I can tell who it is through their touch. I'm all for people perfecting their skill and understand that the best learning is done through experience but I specifically request for Joo due to her expertise and experience. If they are having a less experienced employee work on you, it should be fully disclosed and perhaps charged at a lower rate. It should not come at the expense of the client considering a lash lift itself is $120. I would not come here for lash lifts but they do a fairly good job with lash extensions.

Such a great experience! First time getting lashes done ever. Ive always been put off by the price and upkeep but I think they are worth it! Joo Kim was so gentle and careful and skilled! I had no stinging, burning or redness. The lashes are so comfortable and air light!! Just like your own. I think lashes by Joo Kim make everyone look like a real life doll. Highly reccomend.

Judy has been doing my lashes since last year and she has been amazing! Just recently I tried their eyebrow lamination, and I am extremely satisfied. Judy explains the procedure she's gonna do, provides insights for the eyelash extension/ eyebrow choices, and also discusses the aftercare. She has light hands that I can barely feel someone's touching my eyes. Thanks to that, and her calming music, I am always able to take a good nap lol. Thanks, Judy!

Joo welcomes you with a warm smile and makes sure you're well taken care of. I've visited Be Your Lash for Keratin Lash Lift, Classic Lash Extensions and touch ups. All the times I've visited, I have never been disappointed. I love it here so much that I've recommended friends and family to come because they love how Joo takes good care of my Lashes. I cannot recommend this place enough! Before the pandemic I had lash extensions for 5+ years. I had moved to DTLA and wanted to get them again somewhere nearby. The location is fantastic - right by Staples Center on Olympic, so easy to find. Not to mention the aesthetic of the salon is so modern and chic. Joo was an absolute doll and made me feel so comfortable. Before we got started I was offered a beverage and she sat down with me to go over reference pics/discuss length and style! I've never had someone consult with me before starting. The service itself was very relaxing! Joo was so gentle and delicate even with my twitching/watering eye lol. I felt so pampered! When she was done I was blown away by how beautiful my lashes looked. Glamorous, but still lightweight. I can't even feel them at all which is amazing. Before I left I received great follow up care information, a printed care card, spoolie, loyalty stamp card and was able to book a fill appointment for 3 weeks later. I am soooo beyond happy to find somewhere so clean, luxurious and safe now that I can have these services done again. The best!!

I had never had eyelash extensions before so I wasn't sure what to expect. It turned out to be such a wonderful experience! Joo was so helpful determining what lashes were right for me; not only identifying the look I was hoping to achieve, but she also took into consideration what would look best on my face. I was worried I might get bored while Joo worked her magic, but it was actually very relaxing. She is so gentle that I nearly fell asleep a few times. Being detached from my phone for an hour and a half turned out to be a very restorative experience and I was actually excited when I returned for a touch up a few weeks later. The studio is so beautiful and part of the reason I chose Be Your Lash. Another reason (in addition to Joo's beautiful work) is the convenience. I live downtown so I walked there, but there is also a parking lot across the street and it's pretty easy to find a metered spot on this side of downtown. I also felt very safe given the pandemic. Joo and her amazing assistant Tae were fully masked (as was I) and the studio felt so clean and fresh. I'm so happy I chose Be Your Lash as my first lash extension experience. I cannot recommend it enough :)

I have been looking for a new place to get eyelash extensions and I'm beyond thrilled I got them done by Joo! Joo has an amazing gentle touch and my eyes didn't leave stinging or bothered like others do. She took the time to consult with me to make sure she understood the style and look I wanted. When she was placing the lashes on me, I can sense how precise and careful she was to my lashes and eye. I felt very comfortable and well taken care of as if I VIP. To open my eyes and see the final results had me skipping inside on how beautiful my lashes looked! Definitely coming back and highly recommend!

The lash artist Yoo did a beautiful lash extensions job on my lashes. We ended up going for a hybrid combination in a wispy cat eye shape and I loved it. Would definitely come back here!

Absolutely amazing! I love this place! Extremely clean and neat. Joo Kim is the sweetest and so detailed. My first session with her I set a consultation because I wasn't too sure what I wanted. She walked me through each and every step to find exactly what I wanted. Joo Kim does excellent/ perfect work. She is quick, efficient and METICULOUS. I'm a new mom so I have a very tight/limited schedule. She has me in and out in 40-45 mins MAX for my fills and every time they come out pure perfection. My lashes are so light and soft. The price is very reasonable and transparent. I love that they usually always have availability and are very upfront about when they are going on vacation so that you can find schedule with someone else ahead of time. They even send a text to let you know when to schedule your next appointments so you don't forget, which again as a new mom is SUCH a huge help. I've never received so many compliments on my lashes. You won't regret coming here or working with Joo Kim!

Amazing service! The ambiance of the place was beautiful and relaxing, especially the bed was sooo comfy! My technician Joo was really gentle and professional, and I almost fall asleep during the session. After the service, she gave me a brush, a cute little stamp card, and aftercare instructions to help me maintain them. My lashes came out amazing, and I made the next appointment to come back. Highly recommend this place. Joo will glam you up, I promise!

I cannot recommend this service enough!!!! Joo is amazing and soooo accommodating. I've been coming to get my extensions from her for about 4 months and I LOVE them. She is so amazing when it comes to choosing a style and is very transparent about different types of lashes and what best fits your needs. I have been getting hybrid sets from her and I cannot begin to explain how wonderful they are. I always get compliments on my lashes for always looking great!! Definitely need to check out this business especially if your new to extensions. I also like to note that I was new to lash extensions before coming to be your lash and Joo made the experience amazing!!!!

If you're looking for a place to get lashes done, do yourself a favor and book here immediately. I just got done with my first fill after getting the Russian volume set 2.5 weeks ago and I am in LOVE. The first set stayed on so well even during a vacation with lots of spray SPF! I also opted to get a brow tint which also lasted the 2.5 weeks as well. I felt like I looked amazing and besides some blush, didn't have to touch any makeup. The location is also great, near staples center in a cute little studio. The experience is worth every penny!

Lash lift came out perfect! I was concerned about trying a lift again because the handful I've done in the past elsewhere tend to not take well, but this one looks amazing. Joo was really wonderful and the place is cute and comfortable--will definitely be returning for the next one!

My experience at Be Your Lash was the best eyelash extension experience I have had yet! Joo is an amazing artist. Her studio is elegant and relaxing. Joo is an artist and took my face and eye shape into account when designing my set. The lashes are lightweight and are not weighing down my eyes which is something I have had trouble with in the past. My lashes are beautiful!

Best eyelash extensions I have ever gotten! I am absolutely in love with the results and the process. My eyes typically shake the entire time and I have had some experiences where the tape really hurt my eyes but this process was sooooooo incredible that I nearly fell asleep. I could not feel her placing the lashes AT ALLLLL and I cannot feel them on my face either as they are so light. LOVE IT! Also perfect location and amazing ambiance.

Got a classic set with Joo today and she was simply amazing! Tae and Joo took great care of me and walked me through the entire service. All stars for Joo's attentiveness, professionalism, and the cleanliness of the studio (which by the way, is beautiful and luxurious)! Would recommend this place for anyone who has high expectations.

I stumbled upon Be Your Lash while searching for Eyelash places on google and I'm glad I did! I have gotten eyelashes extensions before, but I think it was time for me to find a new place. The navigation of their website was very easy and setting up an appointment was a smooth process as well. Arriving at Be Your Lash, I was nervous and shy, but when I met Joo Kim, I didn't feel nervous anymore. She was so kind and extremely professional. She made sure to consult with me the type of lashes that would work best for my eye shape. I got the classic set and I love how my lashes turned out! The place is so beautiful, very cozy and had a very pink aesthetic which I adored! I felt very comfortable upon arriving and leaving, and I loved the pink envelope that they gave that contained my aftercare steps and eyelash brush! If you're thinking about getting your lashes done, whether it's your first time or you're looking for a new place like me, I highly recommend Be Your Lash.
