Fake advertisement. Ingridneta and plates look nothing like in the picture. For example the bocconcini salad is just a sad looking pile of greens. No stock of several items. They ask to replace at pickup. Plastic utensils and plates, no forks.

Beach Bakery & Grand Café in Westhampton Beach is an absolute gem. The moment you walk in, you can tell this isn’t just a bakery—it’s a true community spot. The space is bright, welcoming, and has a relaxed vibe that makes you want to stay awhile. Whether you sit inside at a booth, at the high-top bar, or outside on the patio, it’s comfortable and cheerful. The pastries here are outstanding. I tried the raspberry-filled croissant and a black-and-white cookie, and both were perfect—the croissant had that ideal flaky exterior and soft, sweet interior, and the cookie was dense, chewy, and perfectly iced. Their coffee pairs beautifully with anything on the menu, and they offer a full café selection with breakfast sandwiches, soups, salads, and even lasagna. What makes Beach Bakery really special is the sense of community. Locals treat it like a daily stop for breakfast or coffee, and it even feels like a weekend destination with occasional live music. The staff are friendly, though it can get busy during peak hours, so service can be a little rushed. Overall, Beach Bakery & Grand Café manages to combine high-quality baked goods with a welcoming, local café atmosphere. It’s my go-to spot in Westhampton Beach for breakfast, coffee, or a sweet treat. Highly recommend grabbing a pastry and enjoying it while watching Main Street come alive—it’s a little moment of happiness in the village.

Google
Local favorite and perfect central WHB Main Street location but the owner needs to keep it cleaner! Baked goods wonderful, service is very friendly and they are always working hard behind the pastry counters. Eclairs are great! However the owner needs to pay more attention to keeping the place picked up, as well as more attention to customers. There is a specialty coffee bar ( cappuccinos +) here that is rarely manned. Seems that customers are expected to order electronically on two devices next to the counter. No live person is available to order from. Sometimes these devices don't work, plus in general no-one wants to use them. The result is very few specialty coffee orders here, in an age where everyone is drinking coffee all day, every day. You can go across the street for coffees, but why? Customers are also expected to clean off the tables themselves. They don't, so it can be a mess. People try to enjoy by sitting down at tables, but with dirty dishes sitting with them, ugh! The owner needs to address these things so that this gem of a shop stays on top. Place still needs to be cleaned up. Getting run down.

I Just went in for coffee and wound up waiting in line for at least Fifteen minutes. Two people behind the counter helped one customer while the line grew. A third person walked away for at least 15 minutes. The dining area wasn't cleaned for a while either. The Table needed to be wiped down. There was something sticky on the table I used. I also would have bought something to eat if there was someone at that counter.

Google
Ordered July 5, 2025. Breakfast burrito. I don’t know what was more insulting—the portion size or the price tag. I paid gourmet restaurant money for what looked (and tasted) like a sad cafeteria experiment. This was $26….. As someone who actually lives in the Hamptons year-round, let me be clear: I’m no stranger to overpriced menus. But this? I’d rather eat the expired yogurt that was in my fridge. Also none of the requested ingredients (onions, peppers…) were included. I simply attribute this to laziness and incompetence.

Simon S.

Google
This was very convenient being a kosher establishment in the Hamptons and the East end overall. There was a good selection of food, from baked goods to prepared meals, at reasonable prices. The service is respectful and kind. I felt like everybody who worked there is part of the operation, not divided between management and workers. The cheesecake is the best I've had in a long time.

Growing up in Westhampton Beach, I’ve been visiting the Beach Bakery for many years.. It’s always been the heart of this town, staying open through the winter and providing consistently delicious baked goods, coffee and food as well as a warm and inviting atmosphere.. The previous owner, Simon, was always present and ran a very tight operation.. I just stopped into the bakery for the first time since they changed owners and I will be honest and say that I could definitely tell that there’s been a change.. The window display didn’t have the same charm, the shop wasn’t as clean and organized, and the selection of baked goods was not what it once was.. Having said that, the food was still very good (not sure if the bakers are the same).. This was the only time I’ve been in, and I will keep an open mind and continue to support this business.. I’ve heard good things about the new management and I know this is still the place to go for baked goods and treats..

Stacy F.

Google
We used beach bakery for a brunch catering job and it was great. The food was outstanding and Rashid made it easy to plan the event. Huge serving size portions too. The baked goods were perfection. Thanks!

Yelp
Very good Kosher Dairy restaurant. Big menu with lots of options the baked goods are amazing.

Yelp
Came here for breakfast and had a decent experience. This place was super busy so I figured it was worth a visit. There was a large selection of baked goods, so I got a black and white cookie, omelette and latte. Everything was just ok in terms of taste. I didn't realize the place was kosher either, so no meat. The place is nice but the outside seating could be cleaned more frequently.

Yelp
I've been loving the Beach Bakery for the past 25 years. Black and white cookies, jelly donuts, delicious cakes. Mmmmmmm...... Ever since Simon sold a few years back, the new owner does not refresh his baked goods as often. Many times their signature black and whites and other products (elephant ears) are stale and hard. I keep on giving it another try in the hope to have another delicious Black and White, but usually end up dissapointed.

Yelp
Wow. Hadn't been here in QUITE a long time. It's undergone a giant expansion, from a small counter and a few tables, to much more space with many more tables. The menu is bigger, too. I remember a case filled with just bread, and I think that they did cakes and some desserts, too. Now there's many more desserts as well as bread. Alas, the only gluten-free item is coconut macaroons. Hopefully they will add some gluten-free items in the future. Coffee selection was great. You pay at the counter and pour your own. It was later in the day, so I did half decaf and half hazelnut. Yum! We didn't get any food, because we had already had lunch. Service was good. We just ordered coffee cups and I asked about gluten-free items. The man who answered did seem regretful. I'm guessing that he's been asked many times before. I have a wheat allergy, and other people have gluten sensitivity, so perhaps some day they'll expand their offerings. In the meantime, I'll keep baking my own protein cookies and flatbread. I've found commercial gluten-free bagels and English muffins, woohoo!

Yelp
The food is not good. It's super chaotic inside and the layout is awful. Do not recommend.

Yelp
they don't advertise that they are a kosher restaurant so there is no meat. the food is massively overpriced for the quality and the portions. the wait time is half your lifespan and the coffee is terrible. TERRIBLE! there also is a WASP PROBLEM. if you are forced to go here stick to the bakery side. don't even think about ordering real food!!!!!!!

Allissa A.

Yelp
Love the food here especially for breakfast although they didn't have almond milk at that time and oat milk was running out as well.. it's self service.. very casual ambiance.. great location.. has outdoor seating and it's nice for a summer day.. we love it and will definitely come back.. has vegan options

Yelp
Ever since Simon's Beach Bakery was sold, everything changed! They don't stay open late, the floors and counters are often dirty, and I have had stale pastries. For those of you who were regulars, I am sure you know what I'm talking about. The prices are high for the lack of food quality.

Sam L.

Yelp
I miss the old Simon's. It was really special. Food is decent, but it's hard not to compare it to what once was. I can appreciate how challenging this business really is, and I wish them well...just hope they can get it together.

Anne Marie P.

Yelp
Loved this place....NOT anymore!!!! No jelly in donuts croissants ugh! Don't even taste the same . Grilled cheese was sooooooo good not now 2 pieces of cheese. Whoever u are you've done Simon "wrong" Even the PINK boxes are gone! Find another bakery soooo sad!

Dan M.

Yelp
Coffee machine always closed early even on the weekends. Staff always seem frustrated to be working.

Teresa N.

Yelp
Best sourdough bread every. Sadly, I had to throw out my jelly croissant. They charged the jelly and it tastes synthetic..yuck. I should have bought the Boston croissant.. Very polite staff even though he did not offer me something else.

Yelp
The portions are HUGE and taste great nonetheless! Got late so missed their breakfast time but this is a great halal/kosher spot! Service was great and the ambiance was perfect just as you'd imagine for a cafe in the hamptons
google avatar

Alexandra C.

Yelp
One of the worst cups of coffee I've had recently. I could taste the grounds. Plus the screens you need to use to order are really inconvenient. It's a miss.

Yelp
The first breakfast spot we hit while in the area. The bakery/restaurant was ok. The bakery portion looked amazing with lots of baked goods. We really liked the look of the bakery, it was quite large. We chose to eat in, so we ordered at the kiosk which is a bit confusing but we got it done. I ordered a stack of berry pancakes and my girlfriend ordered the Spinach frittata. I also ordered a 16oz. Latte which I only realized after I had my breakfast that I was only served a 12oz cup. My girlfriend ordered the fresh squeezed orange juice which was at about $6 a glass but they did not have any so she had to get a bottle of juice which I had to go back and get the difference in amount we paid for. We told the young lady who was taking care of us that we intended to dine in but we were served in to go containers, not a plate. The food was good but the service was lackluster. It almost felt like they preferred we would take our food and go. The place was really nice and we really wanted to enjoy it but unfortunately we left feeling a bit disappointed. I would suggest the staff take the time to welcome and take care of their customers to ensure they come back.

Yelp
The place to go in the morning and afternoon for coffee and amazing pastry, homemade breads, or a custom sandwich. All our birthdays out east get celebrated with a cake from Beach. Wouldn't be a trip to WHB without a stop at Beach Bakery. Much love - JGD

Yelp
Establishment offered a very safe environment to enjoy wonderful food i highly recommend to eat here!

Sophia L.

Yelp
We had a cake delivered to the beach for my husbands birthday and cannot express how wonderful the service and cake was. Everyone thought it was delicious and complimented on how good it was. I also gave them a Pinterest pic of what I wanted and it was perfect. Thank you so much! I would recommend to anyone

Yelp
Beach Bakery in village of Westhampton Beach. More of a grab and go coffee tea baker with some food options. Not the same bakery quality. Hanging hands has impacted quality on baked items. Location and convenience are still there. The owner came out to help the line and ignored me and took the man behind me first. I said I'm on line and he ignored me. Insult to women? Never experienced that before. The weird guy I with a pony tale in from the city likely, didn't say pardon me. Seemed to want to be rung up first. Two weird guys. Glad I don't live in the 3rd world. Could you imagine? Out of there and back to our great Island where that's the exception. I asked why all the donuts were half sized. The owner said we'll find you the bigger ones. They all looked like minis but the concern is are they proofed? A woman working there kept insisting her husband has been the baker here for 30 years but the jelly and Boston creme donuts are half sized not proofed. I've seen this since t bakery was sold. They did admit there are two other bakers also. So yeah something changed and the head baker is somewhere but not in charge of some or any of the baking. Lol. We have eyes. Croissants are not layered and flakey and chocolate croissants look like frozen from a restaurant supply. Quality is fresh just not superior as it was. Still glad to have them open and to have a late night place to pick something up. Will come in but will venture into Southampton for Tate's. Old Ye Bakery or a French place that is rocking it.

Yelp
Excellent food and pastries great service an asset to Westhampton A+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Yelp
Me & my husband travel a distance to come here to get some raspberry croissants, it's the donut this bakery is known for. But we also like the pecan bars, Neapolitans & custard croissant's - they're ridiculously delicious too! The Jelly have the sugar topping & the custard has the powder sugar on top. We call it a "treat" coming here for obvious reason's but also it's expensive! bring your wallet they take credit cards too. The problem is don't have their prices listed anywhere!! so you really don't know how much your gonna spend unless your always asking how much is this or that.? It's always a surprise at the end but we usually end up spending $30-$50 a visit - it adds up quick. If your in the area give it a try the staff is friendly. Bring

Yelp
I was a long time customer and I gave this place a chance but never again! This place was sold about 4-5 years ago and has new owners. Each year the establishment has deteriorated. The place is dingy and dirty. The bathroom is filthy. The counter is dirty, menus are dirty, Kiosks are dirty. The utensils are sticky. The pastries are stale and not fresh. I can only imagine how dirty the kitchen must be. There is no way this would pass a Kosher kitchen inspection. A kosher kitchen has a high standard. This would fail any health department inspection. If you look over the counter into the back kitchen... you would run... What a shame! Its embarrassing to have this type of establishment in this great town. Im so sad.

Yelp
After a nice lunch at our favorite seafood place at Hampton Bays, we drove to West Hampton to explore the town. It was a nice drive along the beach. This is a lovely dessert place with enough seats inside and outside. We got Napoleon, a blueberry coffee cake and a fruit tart. Everything was perfect, but we could only have a little of everything and took home the rest. It seems the bakery got a lot of clientele. I did like our desserts, but I had Napoleon better someplace else. The blueberry coffee cake was probably the best of all three.

Yelp
We flew in from California to Eastport NY for a 60th Birthday celebration weekend. Javid, Ruben(bakery and master creator), Jelson(manager), were very polite yet professional. Thank you very much for all your help and cooperation! The Cake was beautiful, Simple and Very Elegant! It was absolutely what we had imagined and designed, delightfully tasty too! The Cupcakes and the Vegan Cupcakes were also great. You helped make our occasion special, and we appreciate that! We drowned ourselves in the Coffee and Sweet Treats while we waited. Kiran

Yelp
A local stable in Westhampton Beach! Def a go to if you are visting! tons of options of pastries, cakes and more! Lots of indoor and outdoor seating with live music some nights in the summer! Quality definitely took a big hit after simon the original owner left a few years ago but still a gem!
google avatar

Stacey G.

Yelp
Came here for breakfast. Ordered on the kiosk, very easy ordering process. I ordered the breakfast quesadilla and my husband ordered the breakfast burrito. Everything was delicious and served hot! We were stuffed; very large portions. Next time I will order some of the bakery items!

Jenee D.

Yelp
The best carrot cake I ever had. Everything about this cake was amazing. The cake was super moist and the middle filling was perfect and the top cream was so light, all 3 went together so well. Thank you Beach Bakery for the perfect birthday cake.

Yelp
This was our first visit to Simon's Beach Bakery. We were graciously greeted by Simon the owner and once I told him that this was our first trip..... her bright is a small tasting plate with a macaroon and an Italian rainbow cookie.... just delicious. He then made us mimosas which just got us nice and relaxed. For breakfast, we had the mozzarella and spinach frittata and the pancakes. Both dishes were delicious and well presented on the plate. Now it's time for some fried raspberry croissants!

Tresa E.

Yelp
What happened to this place ???? The people are rude unfriendly and the cupcake is probably 2 months old ?? No thank u !
google avatar

Eve K.

Yelp
Food was fine but service was terrible. After we ordered (and paid) at the counter, they told us they were out of one of the entrees we ordered. Then they made us wait in line over again to choose a different entree. The line moved slowly, so the rest of our party ate while we stood in line waiting to reorder.

Lee G.

Yelp
Wow, I haven't been here in while but boy has it changed a lot. Staff is definitely not friendly. Ordered breakfast, not even a thank you. Lox platter doesn't even come with cream cheese it comes with sour cream. I asked for cream cheese and they said they don't carry it. Really? Showcase looks blah & half empty and it's only 9:30. You can tell it wasn't freshly stocked for the morning.

Yelp
I love this place so much. Every time I'm in West Hampton, I have to come here. I definitely think this is one of the best bakeries on Long Island. Everything just looks so unbelievable good. Everything always tastes so warm and fresh-baked. They also make a lot of their baked goods in different sizes which is nice if you just want to try it and not buy an entire pie or cake. They have a whole ice cream section that I wish we had tried but didn't really have the stomach room for after our lunch. We did take home a lot of pastries though to try. The Napoleon was awesome. Needed a bit more thawing out because the cream was very cold, but still outstanding. The tarts were all really good as well. I loved the Key Lime tart so much. The eclair and cream puff were also pretty great. Well-made choux pastry. Light and airy. Great cream filling too. My award for best cream filled dessert though goes to the cream-filled croissant. That thing was just out of this world amazing. A must-try if you go here. The chocolate mousse tart was also another one of my favorites. That, and the Jelly doughnuts. The doughnuts are so perfectly baked. A bit on the doughy side, but really worth the carbs. They also have a nice lunch menu here that I need to try when I'm back in town. This place is pretty much the sole reason I will be coming back to the town of West Hampton. What a great spot!

Yelp
Online reviews are more impressive than the actual bakery . Confusion as soon as you enter . Where to order ? No ample signage for directions . Is it a bakery , a deli or a restaurant ? No one greeting or giving directions No waiter service. Self service for napkins, utensils and condiments all in different areas . Dirty floors in the outdoor seating area off to the side . If you don't clean the tables at least clean your floors for your guests. French toast was hard and portions were poor . Hash browns overcooked. Never again
google avatar

Yelp
Try the raspberry croissant, they're famous for it. Buy a box of them. Everything else is very good

Diane H.

Yelp
I didn't visit for about 2-3 years. The bakery has changed a lot. The vibe is not friendly and the pastries in the cases were not refilled. Disappointing.
google avatar

Karen D.

Yelp
We stopped in for lunch after a visit to Cupsogue. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the food tasty and prepared to order. The bakery seems to be the highlight of the restaurant, but the meal offerings are also expansive. We had a frittata and tuna salad wrap, along with a chai latte.

Yelp
Frankly I have NEVER yet found a bad bakery!!! This place is no exception! All the pastries that I have bought there have been wonderful!! The spiderman gingerbread cookie was great. The elephant ears were amazing !! Very big ones!! This place is worth a visit..

Yelp
Update (1/1/2020): My birthday cake was amazing! On my last review I posted that the quality of their cakes had gone down and I probably wouldn't be ordering from them anymore. Luckily, my father doesn't have yelp and bought my birthday cake from them and it was amazing! It wasn't exactly like the good ole' days under the fabulous Simon, but it was close. I'm thinking (fingers crossed) that they are ironing out the kinks involved with switching owners and finding their groove. I will make a point to visit the bakery within the next few months for breakfast or lunch and do a more in depth updated review.

Yelp
I always loved coming here on and off season to work a couple hours as well as have breakfast and then usually a sweet treat. Typically grab things to take home to the family as well. The cafe recently changed hands and the feel of the place is rapidly changing as well. When I arrived things seemed normal and I noticed new cash registers. Thought that was great and more improvements were in store. Change can be good but not always... I opened my laptop to get logged in and contemplated what to have. Unfortunately my computer didn't connect automatically to the cafe WiFi as it always does. "That's odd" I thought. Troubleshooting the issue I found by using my phone that I had to log in to the WiFi using my email address or a Facebook account. WHAT! I am used to seeing this in an airport but not my local cafe. This type of access is blocked by my company machine so could not connect so I could not do any work. I still was hungry so I grabbed a muffin and an iced coffee to take home. A small order, and I did plan pay cash but was certainly taken aback by the surcharge notices posted at each register. I understand operating a successful business takes hard work and that profit is essential but this awful and tacky sign completely goes against what a neighborhood small business should be. The only time I came across a sign like this is at a gas station. "Please enjoy your cupcake with a side of surcharge" I am so very turned off by the new vibe of the establishment. The muffin was good, it was moist as usual but my coffee was not the same. Was it different or did I just have a "bad taste". Time for me to find somewhere new to spend my time! Don't plan on going back :-(

Yelp
Great bakery Great service Great cookies Keep it up Coffee could be better but still a great place
google avatar

Yelp
The bakery is good, but they are have big sanitary issues, it's very sad how it could happen, no respect to customers ‍
google avatar

Yelp
Not bad for afternoon snack... actually my raspberry croissant was very decent. We grabbed our pastries to-go because of covid, and enjoyed eating our pastries in their little outside area off the sidewalk. Overall, it was a pleasant experience.

Stormy D.

Yelp
It was good but not great. The scrambled eggs and Hash-browns were good, the Hash-browns had veggies in them and I liked them but the consistency was not that of Hash-browns whatsoever. Relatively speaking they don't season the food, and they're ridiculously expensive. I only assume in doing so they benefit from the short season by raising the prices so high. How much should mediocre scrambled eggs hash browns and decent coffee cost? Not $28. I didn't try any of the cakes so I can't answer to that, but they looked average and on the dry side. I had lunch and breakfast, it was just "okay." Really good iced coffee and there is a station where there are all kinds of coffee additives but it was filthy. After I lifted up the bottle of coffee creamer I was disgusted by how gross it was. When I asked for turkey sausage they told me "we are vegetarian and kosher," so I asked for vegetarian sausage and they still didn't have that either. In the mean time, they serve fish, so they're not telling the truth about being "vegetarian." Vegetarian means no lives are lost, The restaurant is pescatarian. All in all I found nothing delicious except the coffee. Bland and expensive.

Barbara I.

Yelp
I love this place!! The breads, pastries, cakes and cookies are all so delicious!! The staff and the service are always outstanding...friendly and helpful. My only negative would be that I can never stop for one thing!! My eyes wander, my mouth waters and my waist expands!! Outstanding!!

Rudegal L.

Yelp
Service is the worse! Not only its self service (you order on a screen) there is no one around to even give a glass of water or something you might need like a knife. They get the order wrong and forget half the food behind the counter. Its overprice and dirty overall don't dine here. Only the bake goods are good
google avatar

Robin B.

Yelp
Thought I would try their cold brew. Big mistake! Not very good cold brew in fact it might be the worst. Just order the iced coffee, much better. Everything else in there is yummy!
google avatar

Jeff G.

Yelp
I stumbled upon this place after I saw a local sitting on a bench in front and eating something that looked delicious. When you walk in it looks like a normal bakery with a counter but with a lot of cafe seating too. I went to the counter and ordered two raspberry croissants. I paid and left. I went outside and ate one right away. I was blown away. While it didn't taste much like or have the texture of a croissant it was something amazing. I called me Friend who was close by and told him he I had one for him. He tried it and we went back in to by more to bring home! They only at 2 left so we each took one.
google avatar

Jay V.

Yelp
So I go there today to get breakfast sandwich and the lady in the back making the food is coughing into her gloves that she's using to make the food. I immediately canceled my order fucking disgusting.!
google avatar

Jon W.

Yelp
The beach bakery has all the baked goods you can want. It was very quiet inside when I walked in but that can be expected as it was during the fall and not the summer months in this very cozy town. This is a rather large bakery that has a lot of seating and smells delicious. I got a sesame seed roll and a black and white cookie with peppermint tea. The young kids who took my order were very friendly and quick to get me my food. When I took a seat I went right for the sesame seed roll which was so flaky and delicious. It was like a wow moment I did not expect it to be that good. I actually got another one for the road. Then the black and white cookie which is my all time favorite treat and they do it perfectly. It was soft and the chocolate and vanilla sides were both delicious and melted in your mouth with every bite. Yum! This place is being bookmarked and I will be back here. In short: - Great Bakery - Tasty Treats - Friendly Staff
