Beach Bay Hvar Hotel

Fantastic hotel by a small shingle beach, overlooking a beautiful monastery, 5 to 10 minutes walk from the ancient town of Hvar. Modern hotel rooms, albeit on the small side, with a shower room and a lovely balcony overlooking the beach and monastery. Lovely lounge area with small breakfast area inside and on the terrace. Good breakfasts with buffet and cooked to order choices. The hotel has day beds with towels and umbrellas and drinks that can be ordered and brought to your bed. Staff very friendly and helpful and just a lovely hotel. Would recommend.

As soon as you arrive on the ferry from the mainland someone from the hotel is there to meet you. They walk you to the hotel which is located in what I can only call a real corner of Paradise. You are then treated with a cold glass of Prosecco and that amazing calm feeling that you get when you feel like you’re on holiday.||The hotel overlooks a bay of calm clear crystal blue Adriatic water and an ancient church opposite.||Definitely the most relaxing holiday I’ve had in years. The staff allowed us a late checkout which was really welcome.||Pros||- location|- brand new hotel|- the orange sparkling ‘pippy’ drinks|- incredible fresh fruit at breakfast|- pool loungers overlooking the bay|- free sweets by the door|- great jogging in the early morning||Cons||- Paradise is not cheap|- small rooms|- breakfast can be hit and miss|- broken umbrellas||Would love to return but just difficult to get to from the Middle East (dubai). Maybe better from london.

The hotel was lovely, very private and clean. All the staff was very very friendly and helpful. At the restaurant, Marija was outstanding! Very kind and knowledgeable, we were happy she spoke Spanish and was able to share her tips with us. We really had a great time here and we will be coming back for sure!

Lovely clean & comfortable room with a view of the sea & the Franciscan Monastery. Stayed 3 nights. Excellent quiet location yet only a few minutes walk to main port & town with shops, supermarket, laundry, restaurants & walk to Fortica Fortress. Lovely boutique hotel with very comfy bed, good bathroom, great shower & sunny balcony. Beach towels provided, a la carte breakfast was good with sweet & savoury choices, small buffet of fruit, baked goods, cereal, unlimited coffee, juices. Staff were friendly & helpful. Had a problem when we arrived. Booked a drive, catamaran transfer from Dubrovnik to Hvar & catamaran was cancelled due to weather so had to take the car ferry which arrives at a different port in Hvar, about 20 min drive away. Someone from the hotel was supposed to meet us but they assumed we were at the port 2 mins from the hotel. Lost in communication somewhere & after a half hour wait & 2 phone calls we made our own way there in a taxi for €40. Despite this, we really enjoyed our stay there, would definitely recommend & stay again.

Beautiful little hotel with a luxurious and exclusive look amd comfortable, modern furnishings. Stunning views of the monastery and busy little beach.||The sound proofing between our executive suite and the neighbouring room was terrible. My son who slept on a sofa bed in the lounge area could follow the neighbours' conversation. ||The staff were often well meaning but service was patchy for a hotel of this sort. Receptionist chaps and management were okay but seemed a little diffident at times. They usually failed to greet guests passing through the small reception area. Our request for a kettle couldn't be accommodated because it was contrary to policy. Nonsense. Change the policy please.||Our executive suite bathroom was huge but the lighting was poor so needed to use the torch on my phone to shave other than by guesswork.

Truly an amazing stay at this hotel! I don’t usually leave reviews, but my fiancé and I had such a wonderful time at Beach Bay. The location is unbeatable. You are only a few steps away from Old Town. Breakfast was phenomenal and all of the employees were incredibly kind. I highly recommend booking a junior suite as it is only slightly more expensive but provides more space. Next time we come back to Hvar we will definitely stay at this hotel. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

The staff were so friendly and professional. I loved the location and swam in the bay every day. Swimming shoes were worth the investment. The room was comfortable, clean and stylish. I will be back.
