Beach Bum Bar & Cafe

We visit here every visit to the Island it’s so worth hiring a car just for the food. You’re in the Caribbean so yes the service is slow. But what a wait and it pays to wait for freshly cooked food. We always book so there is always a table free. Food is outstanding and very reasonable for the quality and freshness. Thanks for a great lunch again team Beach bum.

We came for the beach but had lunch here. The staff are super nice people, I had the lobster burger and my wife the chicken burger (I think it was), either way, we were both happy with he food. The restaurant is nice, the food is sand, so you can just leave your shoes off and enjoy the beach indoors too.

Went here on New Year’s Day. Kitchen was a bit backed up so we had drinks while we waited. Staff are pretty chill and friendly. The beach bum burger and fries seemed to be the most popular thing people were ordering along with chicken wings and lobster. All in all it was a good way to relax for the afternoon with the beach view. They accept credit and debit cards and have a bathroom. People were going in and out from the beach to the bar in bathing suits and Speedo’s.

Great beach, waves are huge, kids played in the waves but needed full time supervision. Lots of fun if you like a little more excitement. Resturant and bar were average priced for a beach spot. Place was quiet and beautiful.

Fun and cute beach bar right on the water - great vibe and service from Tippy and the team. Amazing location - lobster wraps are delish - sweet potato fries, wings and drinks - terrific! Allow time as everything is custom made and worth the wait.

The staff was very chill and friendly. The food was very good the Beach Bum burger was one of those great sloppy and tasty burgers. The wait was a little long but you're on island time so it doesn't matter I enjoyed the food and will be back.

Very relaxed atmosphere in a beach setting. This place checks a lot of boxes. It has great drinks and pretty tasty food. You can sit in a covered area or on picnic tables outside. With your toes in the sand and a great view as well as a step away from the beach, you’ve got yourself a great deal. Everyone seems to be eating the lobster so I will try it for sure next time I come back.

This is the best meal I had during my Antigua trip in November 2023! Being a seafood lover, I was impressed by the food here. The mahi mahi roll with sweet potato fries was delicious and filling (my only complaint was the tiny portion of the added fried plantain given its additional cost). I also tasted the fish entree that my friend ordered and the butter sauce was amazing. I passed by a table having lobster and it looked mouth-watering. I really enjoyed the quality and creation of the food here. Above all, the prices were very reasonable compared with sit-down restaurants around more touristy areas and in resorts. The restaurant also has a nice ambiance, with colourful decor, lots of birds stopping by, and great ocean views. I loved how the sand extends to the restaurant’s interior. A hidden gem in the country!
