Beach City Provisions

Stopped in here for some French fries and also got the nachos. Both were nothing to write home about. Very large portions and low price, but the nachos had hardly any cheese and it was very hard and rubbery. The fries were pretty bland. Would be happy to receive half the portions, pay more, to get some more quality food. The convenience store has all kinds of beach and camping supplies.

I’m not sure what happened to this place. New ownership maybe?? This used to be such a clutch spot for beach goers, campers and junior guards. Now it’s awful. You never know when they’re going to be open they make you feel like a burden even stepping foot on the property. There’s a tall, long haired fellow that is supposedly in charge but his costumer service skills are laughable. Well, would be laughable if it wasn’t so insulting. I hope they can turn this place back around but it isn’t headed anywhere good as of now.

We had so much fun stopping by here today. It's a great place to stop and buy some beach necessities, some drinks, snacks or have lunch. Amazing views with tons of seating 🌈 Perfect for sunsets, people watching or having a bite to eat. The best part is it's owned and operated by a local couple. I'm not a burger person. Never been. I also don't like the beach. I must say I was blown away by this place in Bolsa Chica State Beach in Huntington Beach. The place is well located. They have Beach fun rentals for surfing, bikes, a store for camping needs. And OMG the food, wait let me rephrase THE SERVICE. The place is run by a couple the husband is a very friendly Spanish speaker and the wife super friendly and healthy savy so she can recommend things. They have a restaurant and in my experience I got to eat a bomb hamburger with avocado and bacon while listening to Jazz... people comes and goes and everyone I saw was getting out of here with smiles... by the way they are dog friendly so feel comfortable to bring your furry baby Excellent service. 100% recommend

I like it because you can have a drink outdoors, it has a nice view towards the beach, people are very friendly and the service is very fast

Great food, great drinks, and great value! We enjoyed a wonderful dinner and listening to a great band last Saturday. We met the owners and they were so nice and accommodating for our party of 8. Felt like we were VIP's being served by the owner. We tried almost everything on the menu and i'll have to say it's superb to say the least! We will definitely come back to Beach City Provisions.

All questions were answered. Quick service. Went to CVS and had the prescription with in 10 minutes.

Over the past 10 years this has become my favorite place to each in Huntington Beach but my last visit was a huge disappointment. It seems they have new managers and they have made several bad changes. 1. They got rid of the pagers. They message you on your phone. Except the cook messaged the wrong person. I saw someone go up to the window because she had been messaged and heard her being told her food wasn't ready yet. He should have messaged me. There was no follow up. My food sat there for 10 minutes before I went to the window and asked. I never got a message. 2. They don't "do" coins any more. Notes only. If your order totals $12:60 you will be charged $13. Sounds like I will only be ordering stuff that rounds down. I heard the new manager wanted to go cash free. I don't eat at places that don't accept cash - it's UnAmerican. 3. The cook forgot my salsa. Three fails in one visit. I may need a new favorite place to eat. Seal Beach has some good options.

This is under new management. The excellent food has changed, still ok. Beer prices are almost double. The bands are largely the same. The place is a little understaffed, we waited for everything. This is not an upgrade. Will try again. The family vibe is only present with the regular customers who are great.

The burgers and fries are good. I had the carne asada tacos and the meat was like puffed up Alpo that I fed my dog in the 70's. I don't know where they got the tortilla chips, I couldn't eat them and the nacho sauce was like lukewarm, diluted, Campbell's cheese soup. Ive been there before when the music was playing and the food was better. Tonight, there was no music and the food was bad. If this was my first time there, I would have never come back.

SeaLegs is amazing, but this is definitely my Fav spot to catch live music and maybe grab a little bite and a beer. People watching is always a good time here! The folks who work here are always smiling and kind to everyone who walks through the doors. Thats one of the rings that makes it so special!

What can I say, I'm Gaba Groove's biggest groupie and LOVE supporting them! They played at Beach City Provisions for the first time which was really awesome! My boyfriend plays the bass guitar for this band and his dad plays the guitar and sings for the most part. I say this every time but this was one of their best shows they've preformed! It was very cool that it was right on the beach and a lot of people showed up to dance and show their support!it was even cooler because it was on St. Patrick's day! The restaurant was serving alcohol, soft drinks, and food! It all looked really good but I only got a Dr. Pepper for my boyfriend and myself. Overall it was really cool and they've been invited back to play again in June!

DELICIOUS LUNCH ! Today my wife and I loaded our eBikes on the tow hitch rack on my wife Tesla Y for the drive to Sunset Beach. We arrived at the Sunset Beach Parking Lot just before 12.30pm...$15 all day. We rode along the bike path heading South towards the Huntington Beach Pier. It was a great day for a bike ride...not too hot at around 70F with a mild breeze. After a few miles we turned around and headed back here for lunch. LIVE MUSIC ! A pretty decent covers band was knocking out some classic 70's rock when we parked your eBikes outside the fence around 2pm. My wife went inside to check out the menu board while I stayed with our bikes. Then I headed to the cashier window to place our lunch order while my wife nabbed a couple of barstools at a hightop table. Patty the same friendly cashier as our last visit took our lunch order for 1 x Bolsa Quesadilla & Chips with Chicken and 1 x Bolsa Fully Loaded Nachos with Carne Asada. I paid by credit card upfront and was given a ready buzzer. On the way back to our table I said hi to Luis the head honcho who was very happy to see me. Luis reminded me that today was their last day of the year...closed til next year. I hung out with my wife at our table waiting for the ready buzzer to go off. In the meantime the band was knocking out great covers of Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers and The Doobie Brothers. THERE GOES THE BUZZER ! I headed over to the pick up window beside the cashier window and a young guy handed me our lunch order. Everything looked really good...huge serves ! My wife said her Quesadillas were some of the best ever. I had no complaints with my delicious Nachos. We rode off on our eBikes at 3pm. AND THE BAND PLAYED ON ! NOTE - Of course with over 22 million views of my Yelp reviews and pics world wide in 2022 I can tell you what is great !

Unfortunately I just heard that this place will be changing ownership on December 8. I sure hope the new owners will maintain the high standards of cleanliness and quality that have existed up to this point.

The service was great. The cashier was super nice and the kitchen staff was super kind when they showed us where to order. The items ordered was a Bolsa loaded fries and the Mahi Mahi ceviche. The fries came with guacamole and had a super fresh cilantro sauce. The ceviche was fresh and super great lime flavor. The vibes were great since it was an off day but the beach was beautiful and the music was immaculate.

Very friendly, great entertainment and the food is surprisingly good, not the old school beach food.

This is a must. Local or not, get on your bike and RIDE! Better prices on food and drink than any other concession. Kitchen throws down consistently. Proprietors are two in a billion and staff are kind - a rarity these days! Ceviche is always fresh and the chimichurri for the Empanadas will make you drink it if there's any left. Sun, breeze, bike path flowing in front of you, live music, cold drinks ... any time if year (literally) ... I'll be there

This is a great place to stop into if your enjoying the beach. The place has drinks in cans but that works when your thirsty. The crowd was great. The music here was really good the Saturday we stopped in. Let me tell you we stayed for 4 hours. It was that good. The seating is ok you just have to get here early or get lucky if someone leaves. Check it out. They are great.

I walked over from our fire pit wanting to buy some pizzas unfortunately they don't serve pizzas anymore BUT don't let that stop you from coming in, what they do serve is delicious. We tried their burgers, fries, coffee and ice cream. And if you forget anything for the beach there's a good chance they have it too. But the best part is the friendly staff. Thank you Lord Jesus for the staff and the establishment.

If you are looking for a awsome afternoon. Filled with great food, drinks that hit the spot and and live music to set the tone and mood for your stay look no further. The beach is beautiful, the weather is perfect, and beach city provision is the only stop you'll need to make to get you in the weekend spirit. Diego and Adriana where super welcoming, patient and able to make the best suggestions when it came down to food and drinks. 10/10 would recomend you make the stop, if nothing else, just to come to come to beach city provisions!!

The venue is nicely situated by the beach and has plenty of seatings. There are foods and drinks available, with live music on the weekend. the selection of food is somewhat limited, though.

A huge THANK YOU to Beach City Provisions for helping in our hour of need. We were camping at Bolsa Chica last weekend and needed a toilet plunger. BCP came to our rescue. Besides great music, Friday - Sunday, (weather permitting) and great food...they are now Heroes!

While cycling from Inglewood to Newport Beach, I discovered Beach City Provisions. It is right directly on the beautiful Huntington Beach bike path, just north of HB, and who doesn't love a most hospitable watering hole with good live music, while trekking along to your destination. Lewis (sp) and Kim, the owners are just the best. Easy to talk to, and very welcoming of all patrons. I've made Beach City Provisions a mandatory pit stop, anytime I'm riding down to Newport, especially on the days they have live music. The bands all play for free, so a gratuity is always welcomed. Love the place so much, I even bought a BCP t-shirt.

On a sunny Sunday afternoon, we were invited to attend the performance of The Barrelhouse Band at Beach City Provisions. BCP has an outdoor venue for live music performances. The nearby restrooms were clean. We received great service when I went to purchase a hot chocolate for my wife. We were even asked if we would like a little room for milk at the top of the beverage (Of course, I said, "Yes!"). Pizzas and sandwiches are available for purchase. We purchased the hot chocolate in the little store. We've been to Bolsa Chica many times, but this is the first time we've visited BCP. The next time you're at Bolsa Chica, be sure to visit this hidden gem.

Great food, prices, atmosphere, and service. The weekends are fun with the bands they get too.

The hubby and I were camping at the adjacent RV camping lot, so I stopped in for a look see. They have much more then I thought. They have a variety of surf panchos and other clothing options, food, ice cream, RV supplies, fire wood, souvenirs, bike and other rentals. They had beer and wine but I didn't see any other liquor. I was looking for something like Khalua or Baileys to go in coffee, but there was nothing. I did leave with a chaco taco though. Yum! The eatery part was closed for the winter so I have no idea what the food is like, but the seating area was covered and looked nice and spacious. The weekday hours are noon to 5pm. I can't recall the weekend hours (I was staying during the week so I didn't pay attention). The staff is super friendly too!! It's a great little store to have so close to the campsite.

I stayed the night camping at Bolsa Chica and this place was so convenient for everyone. This place is also family owned which is a plus for me, they were super friendly and the store had a lot of options from snacks, drinks and some beach toys for the kids. The food was good and easy for the kids to grab a bite right after getting out of the water. I will be telling everyone to come here next time and I also will be back again to see the live music they have as well.

The owners and their family are as good as it gets. They are friendly The food is good with a good variety. Cheeseburger tacos nachos and a lot more. There's music every Saturday and Sunday until 7 pm. It's a great place to hang out.

Adorable little beach bar with live music. This place is a family owned bar and the owners and their sons are SO SWEET. We rented bikes and rode on the beach and decided to stop for some food. They have a good sized menu we for beach food and the outdoor patio was lovely. The food is good beach day food but were just so taken by the owners friendliness that we will definitely be coming back. Dog friendly too! They had two sweet pups running around which was a lot of fun in addition to the live music. Awesome place all around. 10/10

This place is amazing if you like outdoor live music with an amazing ocean view. The crowd is a lot of fun and the owners go out of their way to put together a one of a kind atmosphere. I have told them many times this is a hidden gem!!!!

This is the perfect place to get all you need for your beach day! So conveniently located, right on the sand and close to the RV spots. They have snacks, drinks, sandwiches, a big variety of alcohol, blankets, some swimsuits, fire food, and everything you need for s'mores! They have cool outdoor seating with shady spots. Best of all, I love their support for young artists!!!! I've been to several French Park live music shows, because my son goes to school with this band. Got food and drinks there, and learned that wine also comes in a can ;) Highly recommend this place!!!

Pizza and salads. Their pizza is actually pretty dang good. Got the big Kahuna and the pepperoni. Both were delicious. Cooked perfectly. Giant crispy Pepperoni's. Definitely give it a try.

Great fun on the weekends with live music on the beach on the weekends on the afternoon. Great food and really fun place to listen to music in the sun.

This place is cool. Their regular hours on a Saturday is 10am, but they also have a sign that says if their door is open, then they're open. So it was before 10 and their door was open so I walked in. I purchased some snacks and a beer. They have a rule that any alcohol purchased must be consumed on the patio area. So instead of buying 2 beers I bought 1, lol. They also offer you free pretzels if you purchase any alcoholic beverages. Outside it looks like they sell other hot food and cinnamon rolls. The people here are really nice and it's a chill spot to hangout at.

Great place to stop and chill. Have a cold can of beer, and listen to some good bands. Also they make a good hamburger. Ofah the dog is great entertainment.

Kim & Louis are very gracious hosts! They have great food, drinks, and music! BCP is one of my favorite places on the HB Riveria beach trail.

This place is a gem. We rented bikes. The workers were incredibly kind. I'm imagining they are the owners? I wanted to rent bikes from them. There are 6 of us and my son and husband are In the 6'6" range. They worked with us until we got the right bikes for us. We did the single surrey and the chopper type bike and they both worked great. It was a lovely ride along the beach followed by ice cold drinks.

Nicest staff ever and fabulous family vibes with a killer view! The food is better than most restaurants. The weekend offers amazing fresh ceviche which you must try. We also love the Cajun shrimp burrito. It's really light like a fish taco without beans. Our kids love the chicken strips and fries. Free music on weekends makes it extra fun to hang at the beach.

Has everything your heart can desire. All things "convenient" based in the front of the building:: bike rentals, ice cream, booze, all camping needs. And on the side of the building:: all things deliciousness: cinnamon rolls and coffee in the morning & pizza and salads in the afternoon/evening Plus smiles and kindness from all sides. Great, friendly, helpful staff.

Very good customer service. Went on our annual family beach/bonfire trip. Wanted to rent a bike. We rented from Beach City Provisions and had a blast on the bike, that was until the chain broke. Luckily it was towards the end of our hour and upon returning the bike and informing them about the chain, and without even asking, they gave us a discount on the rental fee. Thank you! That was very nice and excellent customer service!!

So much fun! Outdoor venue at Bolsa Chica State Beach in Huntington Beach. Great place to listen to live music. Good food and selection of libations. Proprietors are very nice and friendly.

I've stayed at bolsa chica campground twice and both times we've had great experiences with the convenience of the store & also hot food. Both times there was live music w/different genres and all very talented! Tom Petty vibes to Velvis Cash :) The customer service you receive from the owners makes you feel at home- very welcoming and had everything we needed in the store while camping and building bonfires with our kids. ( Beer, snacks, playing cards, wood, toothbrush, and sand toys) . We feel comfortable returning knowing we'll be taken care of , thanks for the amazing service!

We were cross country road tripping this summer with a packed car. Couldn't pack everything. Stopped at the beach but needed beach things. Beach City Provisions had everything we needed (to purchase/own and rent). The owner was so welcoming and made our brief stay at the beach memorable. Thank you from our family in Pennsylvania!

We camp at Bolsa Chica with our grand kids regularly, and discovered this gem last month. Very nice folks run the store, always very kind to our young grandsons. At the kids' request, we have to make a point to visit every time. It's a campground store / corner market. Candy, sodas, ice cream (for the kids) plus a great selection of RV necessities and beach gear for the older members of the family. It's a family favorite!

Wonderful venue , excellent service and the owners and staff are awesome had a wonderful time here , and if you come on Saturday afternoons you will hear some great live music by my Nephew Jake!

Everything you could possibly need while camping, on a bike ride, or a day trip to the beach. Thank you Kim, Luis and family for working so hard to all the beach goers supplied! Today I brought 8 kids including my 2 week old to the beach, Beach City Provisions had all the snacks, drinks, games and bike rent, so that everybody had a great day!
