This is a nice property with a ton of amenities close to Whitecap. We stayed in unit 111. It was spacious and well equipped with a balcony we watched fireworks on. There is a lovely pool, hot tub, excellent fitness center, sauna, and day/game room. Only negative is zero wheelchair accessibility throughout the property. There are stairs for every entry, no ramps or alternate entry and no wheelchair pool lift.

I have been renting a Condo from December till March. This is a great place! I would recommend it. There is a heated pool, jacuzzi, training room, and a Sona. It is a clean and quiet place. You will not be disturb by noisy neighbours. The beach is only 5 minutes away. Easy walking distance to enjoy long sunset walk. Not too far away from the Beach Club you can rent a golf car to go on beach. It is a very windy island and was colder then I expected. But it did not prevent me to ride my road bike to the National Seashore Park during winter time. Not sure if I would do this during summer season because the traffic go very busy during spring break. Not so safe unless if you are a very good cyclist 😉 Also I would not recommend to novice cyclists and Sunday riders to attempt to ride to the National Seashore Park. Instead go the National Seashore Park. You can ride safely there for +/- 5 miles. Hope you enjoy your time as much as I did.

Very quaint Residences. Loved the ability for my grandson to both fish off a dock and swim in a pool . Nice visit with friends who live there .

Perfect location for a relaxing weekend, with gorgeous sunrises/ sunsets! The super clean, not congested beach vibe is great for any romantic or family vacation stay. There are tons of restaurants and shops, within minutes, and several of the beachfront vacation properties are listed on Airbnb!

Rented condo 363 on VRBO in April 2025 for 3 nights (paid $560). Pool and hot tub listed as amenities. Buyer beware - pool and hot tub are being repaired/serviced and unavailable. Gym and community office building closed for our entire stay. Nearby (walking distance) Whitecap Beach is dirty. Call to confirm actual amenities prior to booking. Condo was clean and had a full kitchen with dishes/pots. Queen sized bed was worse than an army cot - stiff as a board. Kids room had twin over full bunk bed which was handy for our kids. Two bathrooms are great. Both showers kept up with hot water needs. Toilets were very slow to fill. Water pressure is low. Beach towels and plenty of linens provided. They also provide basic toiletries (shampoo/conditioner/body wash and dove bar soap), liquid dish soap, dish detergent pellets, hand soap and laundry pods. Condo had cold AC and a decent view of the beach from the patio. Also there's no coffee in the condo. Not even K pods. The condo is about 25min from PINS - best beach in Texas. Overall this place is meh. Probably wouldn't return to this community unless nothing else was available.

Absolutely stunning. Quiet, nice floorplan, well kept building and grounds, close to the beach. It's a beautiful slice of Corpus Cristi. Our view wasn't great, but that was just the side of the building we were on.

Spent over an hour with no electricity, charged $100 for holding the door open for my friend at the pool because my hands were full and she was right behind me. Not sure what kind of scam they are running here but do not recommend.

Great location, only a ~5 minutes walk to the beach. There are multiple places to rinse off the sand before heading to the condo. There were clear signs of wear on the buildings, but there was also construction happening - they were replacing the roof on the building we were staying. One signed parking space and free parking if a not reserved spot. The pool got really full in the afternoon. Behind it, there is a lake where many go fishing early dawn or in the evening after dark. Hubs and kiddo enjoyed fishing even though they caught nothing. Avoid the grass. It's supposed to be pet-friendly. They do allow pets, and we see many. They have bags and trash bins for it, but then the grass is full of those spiky things and get get attached to the dogs' feet and fur, but also our shoes and legs. I wish they would mow the grass or do something to reduce it. We were constantly removing those from us and our dog. Fortunately, our prescholer was a good sport and started getting it out himself without any crying or complaining.

Yelp
BEWARE If Vacationing Here The club house at this facility is managed by a woman who "works remotely." The access to the exercise and other facilities in the building are unavailable when she is not there. If you contact her you are told that renters are none of her business! Very disappointing! I hope the owners, many of whom want to rent their places, wake up to this situation.

Yelp
Have stayed 7 times now. place is a bit tired but usable. problem property manager is lazy and does nothing. she is constantly watching on her cameras.and making people uncomfortable. Pool heated is sporatic. same with hot tub. After 7 years Im looking elsewhere next season

Yelp
We have stayed at these condos for 4 summers in a row and are impressed every time. Clean surroundings, clean pool and hot tub, amenities are always perfect, and it is 2 minutes from the beach! Look forward to next summer!

Yelp
We happen to be owners who own 5 units and they are more like individual apartments. Please check out reviews on Airbnb and Vrbo because they give a good reflection of each owners rental. Some owners take personal pride and care in their units and you will have a good overall rental experience by doing your own study of ratings on the individual units. We book and stay at our own units and self manage them like many of us do and. They are clean and presentable for public. Have a wonderful beach vacation.

Yelp
This would have been 3.5 stars. The condo we rented over the weekend was nicely decorated and aesthetically pleasing. Spectrum internet is slow and prone to outages, but otherwise, it did the job. The owner of the condo we rented from levied false claims against my partner and I, however, for smoking-related damages. Growing up with people who smoked some of the most toxic cigarettes known to man, I categorically DESPISE smoking/vaping--the same for my partner, who hates this stuff too. I can't say for the unit I had (Unit 295) that people have experienced the same problem as I have but I also must say that people should be quite wary of this when booking some of these units through portals like AirBnB or Vrbo. It is a dice roll whether you will be at the receiving end of annoying, baseless treatment from owners.

Yelp
*BUILDING 3* *UNIT 131* Out host was wonderful! Excellent communication before and during our stay. We enjoyed the condo so much, we extended one more day! The condo was very clean, organized, well stocked with linen, plenty of dishes and cookware, and such comfortable furniture. Furniture, fixtures, and apliances were updated and modern. The online description of the condo is accurate. There was nothing better than cold AC and first floor living for tired old folks like us. ***Things to note: The condo is actually much smaller than the pictures suggest, but has ample space for two. The condo has no full-length mirror, and the only mirrors are in the bathroom. Heavy-footed people going up the stairs and walking in the condo overhead can be kinda' annoying. The sun rises on your balcony. The condo faces a marina, not the beach, but the beach is only a block away. The condo is situated at one of the entrances, no need to drive through the entire complex. Your assigned parking space is an end space and in front of your balcony. The Spectrum WiFi was slower than we were used to. *** We so appreciated our host sharing their home with us.

Yelp
Wonderful stay! Thoughtfully appointed, has everything you need. Large 2br/2ba. Balcony W/D. Short, pretty walk to beach on wide sidewalks next to flowers & small dunes. Pool/gym/hot tub/sauna. Outdoor showers for guests & vehicles.

Yelp
Very cute condo--turtle theme decor throughout. Overall Clean and neat, inviting atmosphere with exception of Furniture --was fairly worn and could have been cleaned better because arm rests on 2 chairs were "brownish" from dirt, sweat-- not sure really and decorative pillows were very threadbare in places. Only approximately 2 block walk to beach a real Plus! However, upstairs neighbors excessively Loud stomping very heavily and moving stuff about late into the night both nights we were there. SinceOn mustang island 22 mile drive into corpus for art museum, aquarium and better restaurants to take into consideration for next visit to coast

Yelp
While aesthetically pleasing considering it is Corpus, this condo complex is poorly built. We are staying in a first floor condo and can hear every step of the family staying above us. We have gotten no rest. I do not recommend staying here if you want peace. It sounds as is a herd of elephants are doing gymnastics above us. For a commercially built property the walls and ceilings are paper thin. So much for an escape for R and R.

Yelp
Perfect condo with amenities and very good views. Condo management is lacking can never found. Never answers phone calls and very rude. Do not buy there with current management. You will regret it.

Melissa M.

Yelp
The condo is fine but we paid a lot of money in part due to the amenities in which we weren't able to use. We were there for 16 nights and the pool was closed the entire time due to COVID even though the governor already made it clear that it was safe to reopen pools several weeks ago. Every pool on the island is opened EXCEPT for this one.

R E.

Yelp
These are not condominiums. This is an apartment complex that was built back in the late 80's. It is close to the beach, but your renting an apartment. Amenities are below avg. Your better staying at The Island House.

Yelp
I give this place a 5-star rating with a couple of caveats. This is a condominium complex where some units are rented out by owners and others are rented out by people in the rentals business. You need to look up the reviews for individual units on rental by owner websites like VRBO to gauge whether or not the unit is worth renting. The complex itself is near the beach but not on it which helps with getting better rates. It is fairly quiet there. The unit we rented last February was OK but it had not been properly maintained and was quite dusty and dirty when we arrived. We were there for a month and I spent some time vacuuming (ceiling fan and vents were gross), cleaning (parts of kitchen were very bad - old food, spills and stains, bathroom needed a complete scrub-down) and fixing (latches, locks, blinds, electric box cover and trim) to get the unit to an acceptable level. Everything was supposed to be supplied but we had to spend a lot of time getting the owner to replace promised items that were missing. He did supply some but would not replace all. We bought some kitchenware to get by in the kitchen. The A/C was not working and it took a few days to get that fixed. I note that the unit we did rent is not up for rent this year. We are returning this February (to a much better unit from another landlord) because the condo complex has a lot going for it. The common areas really make this place stand out. There is a pool / clubhouse complex with a business room (printer and fax), common room, gym, showers, laundry facilities, heated pool and hot tub. All are in excellent condition and generally well looked after. WiFi is available in and near the complex. On the grounds are a gazebo for the weekly "winter Texan" meet, some grills (missing grates), some picnic tables, a fishing pond, lots of dog poopie bag dispensers and a place to hose off the salt from cars. The second caveat is where I have to agree with the first reviewer (that Yelp did not "approve") namely that the complex staff are hard to contact or to get any sort of action taken. There is a person looking after the grounds but he spends more time yakking on his cellphone or having a cool one with some of the condo owners (during work hours) than doing any work. As such, there are lots of groundhog mounds on the property, gardens appear neglected, and common hallways aren't cleaned which detract from their otherwise fine appearance. The beach itself is a short 5-minute walk away and is great for walking, running, sitting or watching the heavy machinery "plow the beach" some weekday mornings. There are lots of shore birds to see. The annual Barefoot Mardi Gras Parade is a highlight. If you are walking a dog, keep to the paths, sidewalks, roads and beaches because there is a pervasive weed that has sharp, spiny seeds that will pierce paws, cause a lot of pain, and be hard to remove. The complex is a short drive from most services and within walking distance to a couple of restaurants, a hardware store and a couple of convenience store / gas station complexes. Most shopping can be done in Flour Bluff (20 minute drive). There is also plenty to see and do both on the Island and in Corpus Christi. There is a transit service that goes by the condo but we did not use it so we can't comment on its usefulness. Overall, I highly recommend Beach Club Condominiums as a place to stay particularly for winter Texans if the right unit is available.

Yelp
I'm surprised to not find this place on Yelp. Not often do you rent a place online and find it to be just as the pictures online are...this place is! Wonderful condo with fabous amenities and great rates! The office staff was also very kind and helpful. I'll definitely be back!

R M.

Yelp
The units are great, with close access to the beach and the maintenance department are all 5 star. With that said the management in the office is pathetic. They are never in the office when they say its open, they never answer their phones. If you deal with a private rental you are golden. If you have to deal with the office, skip this place. Save your brain the frustration and anger.
