We got there right when they opened. It’s definitely smaller than other markets, but perfect for a quick shopping trip. We finally got to try the coffee cart we’ve had our eye on, and discovered a Japanese Shoku pan shop too. Pico Princess and Ty’s Guilt Free Pie were also there—two of my favorites—so this spot is definitely worth checking out!

Google
Small weekly farmers market but a few things make it worth it… 1) Dan the plant guy! Full of knowledge. So friendly and helpful. 2) the bread stand! Yum! 3) local honey! Plus more options to try in the future like high end meats and local coffee roasters. It’s a bit pricey here but nice vendors and with the trip.

Google
Great little selection of just what I needed. Grateful the vendors pretty much all took cards - even the veggie team! Also they have reusable bags at the front in case you don't come prepared like I did. Top it off with fresh kombucha and it's my new favorite little market!

There is usually a nice selection of fresh Local vegetables and fruits, Micro greens, Vegan pies, Fresh baked breads, BEEF! and a whole host of one of a kind gifts to buy for yourself or anyone on your list. Stop by on your way to the beach and grab some fresh veg for dinner.

Google
Very nice local Jax Bch market. Lots of fresh baked food, and fresh vegetables for sale. I love the local vibe, the artists, their beautiful works for sale. There's a vendor that has awesome fresh coffee beans. Gotta try the "Jamaican Me Crazy" grounds beans. Smooth, vibrant, full of flavor taste. I bought 2 bags 😃

Yelp
This is a really great small farmers market. I'm new to the area and was looking for farmers markets where I could buy fresh produce. Although it is really small, the selection was well worth the trip. Check out the Eat Your Yard Jax guy, he's great!

Yelp
A small little farmers market. It didn't have many booths, but there were a couple good ones! I liked the Japanese bread one - I bought some pastries from them and tried samples. So yummy and they were very friendly! I also bought beeswax wrap from another woman. Hope they bring in more booths eventually.

Yelp
Cute little outdoor market with a small variety of vendors and great live music at Penman Park right off of Penman Road. Picked up some raw honey from Prema, yummy baked goods from Ferra Bakery, and veg. l also sampled delicious pico from Tex Jax Foods (available at Native Sun). Loving the plants and orchids, and in the future I'll grab beef from Florida Premium and eggs from Happy Dragon Homestead - the only farm in the area w organic chickens and organic eggs. Market has some shaded parts so wasn't too hot.

Yelp
This location has changed to 321 Penman Rd, JAX, 32250. This is a small, weekly farmers market but a few things make it worth it... 1) Dan the plant guy! Full of knowledge. So friendly and helpful. For $2 each we bought a Japanese egg plant, basil and jalepeno plant and learned a ton about Florida gardening! So helpful! 2) the bread stand! Yum! We tried the cannoli - yum, and garlic Rosemary bread. 3) local honey! Plus more options to try (we'll go back again in the future) like high-end meats, beautiful flowers, art/crafts, cbd, and local coffee roasters. It's a bit pricey here, but vendors and nice and worth the trip. I wish the hours were longer (like starting 930-230) and I wish there were more vegetable vendors.

Yelp
We accidentally passed right by this market and drove around the block as I oh-oh'd about it and boy am I happy we did! They had several booths of local fare- orchids, succulents, other plant shops, natural skincare and soaps, candles, macramé, veggie stands and a couple of food trucks (Perogies- next time!). I spent a small fortune on skincare, honey, candles, catnip and pickles- all from different vendors. I love love love shopping small businesses and local~ so this was a huge win. I also know not all outdoor markets are created equal- so this was refreshing to find so much fun stuff in one place! I highly recommend you checking them out on Saturdays!

Yelp
Was very disappointed as this was recommended to me. My 1 is due to it only having one vendor with fresh produce. To me it was more a craft market- soap, plants, trinkets and craft vendors. I did see a someone selling: bakery treats, honey and bread...but again I went for Fresh local produce! The one vender had a long line and we decided it wasn't worth waiting in line for.

Yelp
We just happened to be in this area for a friends housewarming and saw this market right off 3rd Street so had to stop in and see what they have! A bunch of fresh fruits and veggies- looked great, as someone mentioned earlier these are all home grown stuff too Soap and beauty stuff- I got some goat's milk soap that the girl makes with the milk from her own goats, I thought that was pretty cool and can't wait to try it Local honey- love, love, local wildflower honey Fresh baked goods- oh I love breads! Pastries, calzones, spinach/ veggie pies, rolls, loafs....I got a little of everything...they were all wonderful! My favorite was a sausage and cheese rolled pastry that was very similar to Turkish borek which was so delicious!!! I wish I would have bought more! All in all, kinda small but definitely worth a stop in!

Yelp
I was completely unimpressed. Hardly any booths, and only one with produce. A waste of a drive.

Yelp
I love The Beaches Green Market! I get most of my produce there and I always stop by Dave the Plant Man's booth to buy a green vegetable for my patio garden for only 2$! Dave is so helpful with information on how to maintain a garden even in the winter. Way to promote eating green Dave! The vibe there is definitely happy, healthy and colorful. There's a mushroom kiosk, arts and crafts, CBD products, fresh baked goods, gorgeous orchids and more! Definitely worth a weekly visit.

Yelp
First of all, I like the fact this is a later market. I'm not much of a morning person plus the drive is quite a trek from Murray Hill. This market set up is actually my favorite kind: quaint, neighborhood friendly, local vendors with mainly produce or plants the grower grows himself. No crafts & knick knacks, no loud music, minimal fast food vendors and everything just at a smaller, pleasant scale. I actually love this little market. It has a different vibe than RAM and is definitely more intimate than Beaver Street's. The vendors here are friendly and engaging. My last visit a vendor was selling a whole big tray of live organic microgreens for just $10. I thought that was terrific. And another vendor had a great selection of plants for sale at competitive prices. If you're like me, you will definitely want to bring cash with you. I try to bring between $40-60 cash just in case I just have to have something or want to grab a snack there. If you're buying a lot, most vendors will work with you price-wise if you ask. However, most of the products offered are already reasonably priced. I would come here more often if I lived closer for sure.

Yelp
The truest green market between Orlando and the Georgia line. How lucky we are to have it right here in our backyard but definately worth a drive for anyone out of area. Every time I go, there is consistent true seasonal produce where you can meet the actual farmer behind the booth and all the artists (soap, tea, pet treats, and even natural bug spray) actually make all their own stuff and can answer any question you might have regarding ingredients, etc. I hear the market has some strict management and that has preserved the authentic farmer market environment I have found nowhere else on the Florida N.E.Coast. I find I am able to do all my grocery shopping for the week here, except for buying milk or other dairy. Granted, I may spend a bit more money buying local & organic/natural but the difference in taste and quality is oh-so-worth it for my family. Variety here is great. This past week I bought amazing strawberries, locally grown blueberries, organic pea shoots, cucumbers, paty pan squash, a basil plant, handmade coconut macaroons, ginger cookies, a bright boquet of fresh flowers, local fish, local beef, cat grass, handcrafted shea butter soap, and the best handmade iced tea/lemonade thing I have ever had in my life. A local band often plays some fun light rock songs w/ harmonic and guitar and kids have fun dancing away. This market is very kid and pet friendly. Lots of families. Tips for shopping here: 1. Sign up for the market newsletter and also any farmer/rancher's/artist newsletter you want to keep up on as Natalie said. 2. Bring cash as many vendors can't take credit cards. 3. Market hours are from 2-5pm. Go before 3pm to get the best produce. 4. Treat yourself at least once. Buy a gourmet iced tea, cookie, flowers, or a plant before you leave. Smile!

Yelp
Winter produce is at its height at the Green Market! Last week, I bought the following: Broccoli Cauliflower Brussell Sprouts (on the stalk!) Fresh Spinach Butternut Squash Spaghetti Squash Onions White Creamer Potatoes A bounty of fresh herbs (chives, thyme, rosemary) 2 dozen Farm Fresh Eggs (Musickal Acres) Oranges Tips for the Market: (1) Get on the email list for the different farms (Cognito, Musickal Acres). You can preorder your eggs, meats (pasture raised chickens, pork, etc), and cheeses. There is also a weekly email sent out by the Beaches Food Network. (2) Get there early! The best produce goes very quickly (3) Get to know your farmers! Building relationships and knowing where your food comes from is paramount. I heart you Green Market!

Yelp
Fun farmers type market full of vendors offering varieties of goods. Lots of organic foods and veggies, meet new people and enjoy walking through the fresh air market. We met a wonderful vendor from Kenya who was selling organic coffee from his village, all the proceeds from the coffee sells went to support the village where the coffee was hand grown and lovingly processed. We enjoyed talking with different vendors, learning where their goods originated, tasting wonderful & delicious offerings, and brought home some amazing foods & coffee! Stop by and Enjoy!!

Yelp
I really liked this little market. It's been bookmarked for months but I finally had a chance to stop by Saturday. If you haven't had a chance to stop by it's definitely worth doing. Somehow I was expecting a very large event like RAM, but it's actually a much smaller more intimate setting. As of 1/15 there were probably about 15 vendors out. There may be more in the Summer when more produce is in season, but as of now it was a pretty small affair. Beaches Green Market is located in Jarboe park, which is right off of 3rd street in Neptune beach. There was plenty of parking along the road and in the park. We parked farther away and enjoy a walk in the mark. Jarboe has a nice paved walking path if you want to do the same. When we got to the market there was a local guitarist playing music for the crowd, and by the time we left a local high school brass band was playing which was cool to see. There was a small grouping of 10x10 tents set up for vendors. I was able to pick up some awesome Mayport shrimp that were swimming in the ocean the day before. It's cool because I could actually talk to the fisherman who caught them, and he had some suggestions on seasoning and back-story on how the shrimp were looking this week. I also grabbed some beautiful carrots and green onions that were grown locally and were just pulled out of the ground, rather than having been on a refrigerated shelf at Publix for weeks. Some other vendors were selling farm raised eggs, meat, raw milk, handmade soap, and locally roasted coffee. They have a good mix. All in all I really liked this farmers market and I'll definitely be back. It's small so it doesn't replace RAM, but I don't think that's something they ever set out to do. More of a little neighborhood market with some amazing products brought to you by some really passionate people.

Yelp
I love how everything, at least everything I inquired about, was grown without pesticides and hormones. I enjoyed being able to talk to the farmers who grow the food, as they are also the ones who sell it. I also felt like the prices were really great. I got a huge head of cabbage for $2, a large bunch of kale for $2, 5 oranges and 2 grapefruits for $6.50 (so far the most delicious orange I've had in a long time- stay tuned for the grapefruit update!), and 10 eggs for $5. The chickens are free roaming and only go into coops at night to sleep so they're not hunted by predators. The woman who talked to me about the chickens eased all of my concerns as I did not want any eggs from chickens in cages or pens or coops. The market was very small, but I'm assuming the weather may have discouraged some of the vendors from showing up (just a theory?). Regardless, it was really lovely. A great variety of seasonal produce, some vendors selling things like grains, maple syrup, etc. Looking forward to going back next Saturday!

Yelp
I love this market! It's always growing and changing, week to week with friendly knowledgeable vendors. Seasonal produce, starter plants for home gardens, eggs, dairy products, seasonal meats, fermented probiotic foods, fresh baked breads and pastries, lemonade/coffee/ vegan dips/hummus etc, various artisan homemade products from aromatherapy to dog treats! This market literally has everything I need for the week! It is a rain or shine market, they only cancel if there's lightning. I have called on thunderstorm days to inquire if they will be open or not, someone always answers, which is extremely professional! Much praise to everyone at Beaches Green Market for all of your hard work, providing delicious and nutritious to the neighborhood!

Yelp
It's nice knowing that whatever you buy here is supporting a local business! Fresh bread, produce, eggs and organic meat. Most vendors let you sample before you buy Our favorites to get are the homemade cheeses and soaps! The drunken cow cheese is amazing and we can't get it anywhere else. Definitely worth the trip even though it's on the small side. Pets are welcome

Yelp
Visiting jax beach for the weekend and checked out the market for the first time in years. So impressed! It's grown so much! Veggies, meat, coffee, hand made natural cleaning products, prepared foods, grits and cornmeal, honey, hand made pasta, fruit trees AND the best pastries ever! And all the vendors were super nice. Will definitely be back next time I'm around on a Saturday.

Yelp
I would like to write a glowing and HONEST review of Kate Jogs Dogs since people are using this site to publicly shame, falsely accuse, and slander her. These "reviews" have nothing to do with her business, even though that is the purpose of this website. I won't even justify those personal attacks and lies with a response, but really, get a life. Kate Jogs Dogs is a wonderful business run by a wonderful woman who loves dogs and treats all of her clients (furry and people alike) as if they were members of her family. She has been walking our dog for almost two years now and I cannot say enough good things about her. I have referred her to at least 10 others who now use her and are also very pleased with the care she provides. If you are looking for a dog walker or someone to leave your dogs with while you are away, please use Kate Jogs Dogs. No one will take better care of your animals at a more reasonable price. I highly recommend Kate Jogs Dogs, as well as the treats she sells at the Beaches Green Market.

Yelp
This market was smaller than I expected but it is still worth visiting so that you can support local businesses. The nice part is that there isn't a ton of crafts, it really is about the food.

Yelp
This place is great! I stumbled on it this summer while I was cruising around and they really do have some great stuff! Two things I wanted to mention in addition to the previous review that Natalie left. One, the produce guy tends to run out so you definitely want to go closer than 2pm to get the best selection. Two, Growers Alliance Coffee is awesome. The Kenya Coffee has a deep, rich flavor. They also make sure that the growers themselves get a good chunk of the profits. You can check out their whole mission on www.growersalliance.com. If you are a coffee fan, I highly recommend them!

Yelp
im with matt b -- the market has tons of potential. it just seems like vendors arent really biting. with so many arts markets & farmers markets popping up on saturdays -- it seems like vendors may be going elsewhere. id love to see more food vendors -- with actual FOOD there. they do have some good choices with produce -- though it seems like everytime ive gone its been later in the day -- so im probably getting last pick.

Yelp
This is a terrific farmer's market and I was lucky enough to stumble onto it. I'm out of coffee so I'm going today as they have the best coffee I've ever had and its a 'fair market' product. The locally grown produce, meats, baked goods, flowers, and plants are all of top quality. I would advise going as close to opening as possible so one doesn't miss the best produce because it goes quickly. The only farmer's market I have found that compares is in Carmel, Indiana and I won't be making that commute.

Yelp
This market has great potential. It began not long after I started envisioning one in the area, so it was a delight to see one random Saturday afternoon. I would like a better produce selection, but hopefully it builds momentum and gets some better goods.

Susan L.

Yelp
This is a fabulous resource for locally produced food. Of course you can get fantastic seasonal produce. This is also a wonderful resource for locally raised beef, pork, poultry, and seafood. Sweet Grass Dairy is there once a month offering delicious artisanal cheeses. You can also get local honey, locally made baked goods and farm fresh eggs. They send out a thoughtfully produced newsletter each week so you know exactly who will be at the market that week. I love it.
