A nice spot for a casual breakfast near the beach This cafe is located on US 192 in Brevard County, specifically at 109 5th Ave in Indialantic, just off A1A. It's a popular American breakfast and lunch spot open from 7 AM to 2 PM. It is known for its fresh meals and beachy feeling. It is easily walking distance from the beach hence its name. Parking is available behind the restaurant. There is not a lot of it so I bet it fills up quickly when it is busy. We found the easier entrance is through the back door leading into a small waiting area and then into the dining area. It's first-come, first-served seating with no reservations, so expect a wait during busy times. It is not a large place. There are about 6 tables and 8 booths for about 4 people and it was pretty full when we arrived. Despite the crowd, one great waitress handled all the tables efficiently, keeping everything moving with a friendly attitude. You order and from the waitress but you pay at the counter. I had eggs, bacon, and french toast, which came out quickly. It was hot, well-cooked, and pretty good. Portions are generous, and prices are reasonable, with most breakfast items under $15. The cafe had a relaxed atmosphere with indoor seating, though it can get noisy when full. Overall, it's worth the visit for travelers seeking a solid, affordable meal in the area. Enjoy!

I had such a great experience at this café, the food tastes amazing. The portions are huge in relation to what you pay for, definitely worth it. We came in shortly before closing but the service was nothing for top tier. Our server, Chloe, was super attentive and never rushed us at all.

My wife had been wanting to try this place. Since we were beach side we decided to stop in. We were seated quickly and, didn't have to wait but a few minutes for our server. Atmosphere was great and, it was easy to have a conversation. Food arrived relatively quickly and, was fresh off the griddle hot. Food was delicious, best pancakes I've had around here. My meal with a side of pancakes and a coffee was about eighteen dollars. We will definitely be going back.

Well we need to eat😎... This place was great. This Stuffed French Toast was amazing. I had it with the ham and cheese option. They were busy, but still took care of everyone. Britney took good care of us. We chose to sit outside and got kept company by this little bird and their family.

Great service considering it was right after the Turtle 5k. Only issue I had was my Mahi was overcooked. I didn't mind raw spinach, although when I have had spinach in a Benedict, it's usually sautéed. Eggs were poached perfectly and hollandaise was ok. Nobody makes hollandaise as good as my husband did. Nobody.

Yummy breakfast food near the beach! We got multiple items each and still very affordable. Total bill was $31 for 2 adults. I liked the stuffed French toast and my husband enjoyed the country fried steak.

Great place to grab a nicely priced average breakfast meal. I had the country fried steak and it was good nothing special but I would recommend this place if you're looking to great prices and a good meal. I loved the variety of jams for the toast. And there is definitely no shortage of hot sause after being handed the Costco sized bulk Franks Red Hot. Would go back.

This is a very small place that is a little hidden, but holy shit. The vibe was so cute and the service was very good. The waitress we had was nice and always refilled our coffee. But the food. Oh my god, the food. It was AMAZING. I had the stuffed French toast. I wish I had taken a picture. The strawberries and bananas in it were fresh. The sugar powder and cinnamon were perfectly sprinkled on. And the French toast itself was cooked just right. It was so fluffy and fresh. I 100% recommend this place for breakfast and lunch.

I had the chicken fried steak with eggs and it was cooked perfectly. The waitress was attentive and polite. The cafe had a somewhat beach vibe to it without going overboard. I would return again.

Hi everyone! Just a quick review for a little gem of a restaurant located in Indian Harbour Beach, Florida. We have been here before and it just keeps getting better. This is a family owned breakfast and lunch spot that is always packed especially on weekends but it is well worth the wait everyone. Food is down home American style breakfasts with a something for everyone but they also have great sandwiches as well. Amanda helped us on this occasion and she was awesome providing us with some recommendations as well. Everything in the menu is great so feel free to live dangerously. Parking is in the rear of the restaurant and come early if you can as it does get busy. Get ready to be immersed in a traditional diner experience that takes me back to the 70s.... Everyone enjoying their food and striking up conversations with each other as well! So if you are in the area and are looking for some great breakfast you may want to stop in and check them out. Great place that served very fast and very fresh food. The hash-browns were crispy and tasty. I had the country fried steak with eggs and the steak was tender and juicy. Amanda was our server and she was very friendly. The place is very quaint and definitely has beachside vibes. Great place to eat.

Really disappointed. I see so many reviews about how the service was great, I don't know if they were having a bad day, but the service was no where to be found. No greetings, tried to make us wait an additional time after not seeing our name on the list ( could be a mistake understandable). Asked for a high chair, they visibly saw we have a 11 month old, they sat us in a "fire hazard" area booth? After waiting 25 mins they then ask us to switch around the restaurant in order to sit our son down. Was too hungry, didn't wanna bother, drove to first watch instead, no hassle and my son was taken care of and great service! We actually were acknowledged here! Brunch shouldn't be this complicated.

The food hits the spot every single time here. I've never had a bad meal, it's always consistent. The owners are very nice as well. My dad and I come in here to grab a bite often. It's a cute little beachside style cafe, hence the name. You should definitely check this place out :) Oh & the service is always 10/10.

It is kind of like a hole in the wall, (duct tape on the seats, lol). The food is really good and if you go during the week, after you order, you actually think the cook is a mind reader because it takes no longer than five minutes to receive it. I would not recommend the sausage biscuits and gravy. There is very little sausage, it is pretty much a gravy paste with bits of sausage. If you have a craving, order extra sausage. Service is always top notch. Great place for breakfast and HUGE portions!

This cozy restaurant makes you feel like you're going to eat at your grandmother's house or just like what the restaurant is called Beachside cafe. Everything is made fresh to order. Great home cooking with amazing customer service and super friendly staff. Best corned beef hash. Best breakfast potatoes. Delicious French toast. Great company! Expect to meet the locals and possibly make some new friends along the way! Open 7am to 2pm every day, except Closed on Thursday. Definitely give this place a try, you will not be disappointed.

My husband and I stopped by this casual breakfast/lunch spot for brunch on a late Monday morning in summer (not high season for S. Florida). Chloe, our server, greeted us cheerfully and encouraged us to choose any open table. Her service was efficient and friendly and she made honest menu suggestions when asked. My husband opted for the Rueben sandwich which came on toasted, homemade rye bread, and a generous portion of corned beef. I took a small bite and it was tasty enough. Hubs did say he would have liked a little more sauce on it, but he ate the whole thing. He ordered a small Caesar salad as a side. It appeared fresh. His overall opinion of his meal was "It was good - I got what I expected. I would stop by again if I'm in the area, but wouldn't go out of my way for it." I ordered the stuffed French toast with bananas, blueberries and strawberries and cream cheese. This dish was a little unexpected, but I actually didn't hate it! It is prepared similar to a Monte Cristo sandwich - two slices of Texas toast bread and fillings are dipped in pancake batter and the whole thing is deep fried. It is served with sprinkled cinnamon and powdered sugar. Syrup is on the table. The fillings were generous and the crunch on the outside was satisfying! There was a little doughiness on the inside, but not much. The pancake batter would be better if it was a little sweeter. I ordered a side of bacon - which was excellent! I am not much of a bacon person, mostly due to its saltiness, but this ranked among some of the best I have eaten! The salt content was just right! My husband - a true bacon eater - agreed! Food - Solid meal. Would eat here again. Value - Prices aren't bad for a beach town. Atmosphere - Casual beach diner. Clean enough. Service - Excellent and cheerful! Ask for Chloe!

Haven't been here in 5-7 years. Now living in Naples on the west coast. But visiting here a few days. So, when asked, "do you want to go out for breakfast"?? One place came into mind. But this time I'd try the STUFFED FRENCH TOAST with cream cheese and fresh blueberries! Ate the whole thing. Didn't want the meal to end. Loved it. I even added a little melted butter on the outside with syrup. Sooo good. Trust me. Chloe was also a super waitress.

Friendly service, short wait and great breakfast fare. Skillets and stuffed French Toast were very good. My daughter loved the strawberry and Nutella stuffed French Toast.

This is a rare gem. The ambiance is casual with surfboards to give it that beach diner vibe. The food... ahhhh... the food is the real star here. They have taken basic American breakfasts and raised them to delectable levels. I usually bounce back and forth from their skillets (which will keep me sated till dinner) and their Benedicts, but the stuffed French toast is also amazing. And, although it's nothing fancy, their coffee is delicious and OJ is fresh squeezed. The servers are super fast and friendly and the prices are so 2000. Honestly, I can't think of anything I would change about this place.

Good food, small place, parking was difficult to find ( it's behind the restaurant) and difficult to back out of the parking lot when we finished and the lot was full (on a Monday morning). 2 waitresses, short staffed, so be patient and tip well, these are difficult times. 2 breakfasts, a waffle on the side, a cup of coffee and tip ran about $40. The food was great, came out quickly, all things considered, and the portions are large.

A true staple of Indialantic. Come watch the sunrise on the beach and walk over to this small and quaint cafe. We come here often and the staff is always friendly and the food is amazing. One of the many amazing things they offer is a skillet. My wife always gets her Greek skillet which comes with all your favorite veggies. The rye bread is home made and is plenty flavorful. I often choose the beachside skillet which has plenty of veggies abut is also packed with meat. One of the best parts of the skillet is how you can opt to have your home fries extra crispy which gives your entire dish that extra crunch. We love Beachside cafe and it's staff and we can't wait to come back for more!

Update: still on point. Prices are up a bit but still reasonable, and the service is friendly and prompt. Chloe's still there too.

I found myself on an unexpected overnight stay in Melbourne and woke up looking for a nearby breakfast place. This was a great choice (thanks Yelp!), and since I have trouble choosing between eggs benedict and pancakes I ordered both. I went with the Traditional Eggs Benedict (that poached egg was perfection), hash browns (so good! crispy but not too dark), and an ala carte order of a single pancake (currently they have a pumpkin pancake! I added chocolate chips...yum). Top off with hot chocolate and it was a great breakfast, exactly what I needed. Service was top notch from my waitress, Chloe, who was friendly, efficent, and expertly multitasking for multiple customers in this restaurant. There are maybe 14 tables in the whole place, mostly 4-top but a couple of 2-top. When you're done, walk up to the register and they have your check there waiting for you. Parking is around the back - if going toward the beach on 5th, turn right on Miramar and then you can get to the parking lot from that street. The lot closest to Miramar is for Longboard House only, so go a tiny bit further into the lot designated for Beachside Cafe. When the lot is full there's not much space to turn around to exit, so your backup camera gets to be the hero here.

We went to Beachside Cafe for breakfast for the first time this past week. It's nothing spectacular but I would go back again. Be warned - this place is nothing fancy, if that's something you care about. It's just a little mom and pop type restaurant, but it is clean and the employees were all very nice. I ate oatmeal and a side of scrambled eggs. The oatmeal came with brown sugar on the side. They gave me so much oatmeal, I bet I didn't even eat 1/3 of it! It was also pretty tasty (which can be hard to do with something as basic and boring as oatmeal) and so were my eggs. Coffee was decent, too, and I am oddly picky about my coffee.

Delicious food! Especially the fries (they come perfectly seasoned). Excellent service! Reasonably priced! Close to the beach! The best part......lunch is served all day! So I can get lunch while my husband enjoys breakfast! Win! Win! Win!

Top two Choices - Blueberry Cream Cheese STUFFED FRENCH TOAST! Avocado Eggs Benedict. The stuffed French toast was fried in pancake batter. Seriously one of a kind. Great job accommodating us on Easter Breakfast beach side with no reservations! Small place, great staff. Chloe was a very thoughtful waitress and constantly checked on us. Drinks never went empty. Clean place. Worth a visit

If I have any complaints, whether small or big, I can't give 5 stars. So I will start with my VERY SMALL complaint. It's unfortunate, but when I see skillet on the menu, I expect it to come out on a skillet. If it's not going to just call it a breakfast plate. I love eating off a cast iron skillet. it has some nostalgia to it, and I was disappointed I didn't get that. I know it's lame and picky, but it is a complaint. NOW...for the AWESOMENESS of this place. It is exactly what it says it is. It is advertised and known as a small local diner, that has great food, very reasonable, honestly cheap prices, and a staff who cares about you. They are friendly, and will do what they can to truly serve you and go above the call. Locally owned for 10 years, and the daughter of the owners was our waitress. Chloe you were awesome!!! We started with coffee, which for a diner, had actually a fairly good flavor. I am a coffee snob, and knew it wouldn't be amazing, but it was better than average. There are free refills there, and they do a good job of keeping you loaded. My fiance ordered the benedict, and HOLY SMOKES, the hollandaise was creamy. The yolk was super runny, as it should be, but the kicker was the bread. They home make their own rye bread, and I HIGHLY suggest changing from an english muffin to that bread. It has a distinct flavor at the end that makes it amazing. The veggies in my "skillet" were SUPER fresh. Spinach was not too cooked, tomatoes were juicy, eggs were perfect, hash browns with a little crunch, and the Mahi, WOAH!! Super moist, not over seasoned, and a great addition to the meal. A full bite, with a little hot sauce was immaculate! Overall, you really can't get much better than this. If you want a great spot, that is literally 200 yds from the beach, open early so you can see the sunrise, this is the best spot you'll find. Well done Beachside, I am so sorry I can't give 5 stars! I had a phenomenal time!

This place is always closing randomly. So annoying. We used to come here regularly, but not so much anymore. It gets frustrating driving here and them being closed randomly on more than a few occasions.

Great food. Great service. Affordable prices. This place is located 15 mins away from the beach but worth a visit. The service was great. The servers were very attentive polite and offered suggestions from the menu. The food was hot and flavorful. We ordered an veggie omelette and a waffle. The veggie omelette was seasoned and had plenty of the different types of veggies in it. The waffle had fresh seasonal fruit which was sweet. Overall great visit and I would return if we were in the area.

Always had breakfast there when we're in town. Just before we left I had lunch. OMG it was delicious! Just had a patty melt and fries but both were awesome! Our go-to breakfast place just become our lunch place too!

Amazing food and service. Great atmosphere, really cute decorations. This is a place with personality!! They occasionally play live music!! Only thing to be aware of is that the prices are a tad higher than expected. But definitely worth it! I promise :) Also gluten free friendly!!! The crepes I got are gluten free and they were so delicious

Excellent breakfast venue. Food is always good. Lots of people waiting all the time. It's just a small little shop, with a few booths and Formica tables. Cold beverages served in a double walled Longboard Surf Shop plastic cup, the cup from Longboard next door is either $20 or $24 (that's another story!) But the food is delicious!

First restaurant we dared eat in while visiting Florida. The staff is following health guidelines with masks covering their faces correctly. The inside diners are socially distanced. Plastic partitions between the booths offer extra protection from aerial spray from people having fun! Very intelligent design. I ordered the stuffed French toast with strawberries, blueberries and cream cheese. LeeB ordered traditional breakfast with blueberry pancakes. The Stuffed French Toast is amazing and is now #3 on my Favorite French Toast list.

We drive from Vero Beach so we can eat an amazing breakfast. Food never disappoints & the service is friendly & quick. 100% you got to try this place. You won't be disappointed.

A quaint little breakfast place. Parking is in the back and tight but worth the effort. The food is fresh and out fast. The girls are very attentive and made sure our drinks were topped off. Food came out hot and the omelets​ were very good. I enjoyed​ the grilled biscuit and the spinach​ in my omelet was fresh which is rare beachside. If you are in Indialantic and need a small town breakfast place then this is your spot. Just remember to park around back!!!

If you're looking for something that you can't (or is tough to) make at home, you've got to come here for brunch. Parking can be a little tough, you've got to go south on A1A and park in the rear by the Longboard House. This local gem is smaller on the inside but hands down worth any wait. I enjoyed sitting outside this weekend in the breezeway. After debating for what seemed like hours (really only like 5 minutes) based on other Yelp reviews, I opted for the stuffed French toast which is dipped in pancake batter and then deep fried. Heart, be still. Of course, I ordered bacon and eggs in the side to make sure I couldn't walkout I would be so full. The bacon was soooo good. It was crunchy and juicy all at the same time. My boyfriend has the avocado skillet and LOVED it. No crumb stood a chance. He said everything was fresh, cooked perfectly, and really flavorful. Pro tip on the stuffed French toast: you can have NUTELLA put inside. I know, it's a game changer. The service was outstanding. Those folks work so hard. I would absolutely come back for another out of his world breakfast!

This place deserves every 5 star review that it gets. Absolutely over the top in quality. I'm an iced tea lover. They had me when the server brought it in a Tervis Tumbler with plenty of ice. Other reviews mentioned their Eggs Benedicts and Stuffed French Toast. We ordered both. The Eggs Benedicts were cooked to perfection. Slightly runny yolks, the Hollandaise was so creamy. Yum. We both loved it. The Stuffed French Toast you have to taste to believe. Our came stuffed with strawberries and bananas, with Nutella on the side, which I'd recommend because the whole thing is so rich. Basically it's two slices of wonderful bread, stuffed, dipped in pancake batter and deep fried. What's not to like? I'm not a coffee drinker, but hubs said the coffee was top notch. This is the first time we took leftovers home from breakfast. You've got to try this place. Go early. Parking is limited and the place fill up any day of the week.

The service was good and speedy and food was yummy! got an egg white Greek omelette---amazing little more oil so if you are on a diet ask for less oil but it was delicious and perfect for me! The diner breakfast I've been craving! I went twice last week with my family. Each time, everyone enjoyed their meals. I had the corned beef omelette and the breakfast burrito. The burrito was pretty good, but the omelette was excellent! They also have Frank's hot sauce which is my fav. My niece thought the hash browns were amazing, they were crispy just how she likes it. I will definitely be going back! A nice little stop on the way to/from the beach. They also have lunch I'll have to try soon.

Whenever I travel I am on look out for places just like this. It's a local spot with tired but well loved decor. The staff is scurrying about making tourists feel welcome and regulars like family. The food is hot and home cooked. Prices are decent and the proximity to the beach is unparalleled. Parking is tricky, but I think that's part of the charm. In fact, from the parking lot, you're not even sure you're in the right location. But venture in through the back door and sure enough, you've got yourself a local treasure of great prices, staff and food.
