"There are a couple of coffee options in Ojai, but Beacon is by far the best. It’s in a big open space with whitewashed walls, plenty of big tables, and a very local crowd. They serve a few daily pastries at the counter, plus a bigger menu that’s better than regular coffee shop stuff - there’s a jicama salad, a masa flatbread, and if you’re lucky, a fantastic milk bread french toast at brunch. Healthy, beautiful, fresh and unusual offerings. Funny to call food beautiful but it’s the only way to describe the visual appeal. I tried several things. A few things i couldn’t eat because of allergies. But there were plenty of other things available to feasted on. The gluten free donuts are a must have so fresh, slightly dense and just the right amount of sweet and the flat pastry topped with various veggies was something that I will crave and drive two hours back for! and i do not even like donuts . My companion had the hippo toast and really liked it! A must stop coffee shop great menu. Friendly staff. Fun and comfortable environment.

Stylish coffee shop with modern rustic furnishings and straightforward yet fulfilling menu. Was pleasantly surprised that their Coffee of The Day is prepared by order via pour over. Staff is warm and welcoming and work well together as a team to ensure an enjoyable experience! A great place to relax and enjoy a cup!

Sleek and modern ambience, small selection of baked goods and very friendly staff. The best part about this place - the coffee. We tried their Costa Rican chemex coffee, and it was absolutely delightful - not only how good the coffee was, but how they served it as well and how reasonably priced it was. Would highly recommend coming here for a cup of some great coffee.

Great coffee, plenty of seating, and Wi-Fi is available. The interior is spacious and airy - great place to settle in and get some work done. If you’re around for May/June and want to try something different, get the seasonal pixie tangerine mocha 🍊☕️

Nice little coffee place taking covid precautions. Latte I got was pretty good, but not mind-blowing. Chai was literally spicy (burning in the back of your throat). The beans I got (washed Tarrazu) were fresh, light roasted as labeled, and high quality.

Iced vanilla latte was delicious. The gluten free donut was not so much. It looked so anemic. It was under baked and overly sweet. The shop has a nice atmosphere and lots of seating. Nice place to hang out and read the paper.
