Love my BHP! Yea, it's not perfectly clean, it's not polished, but you can get a good cold beer, have some tv's to catch up on the sports latest, throw some darts, or even play some guitar hero!! Me and the S.O. have been coming here for a long while, having previously lived around the corner, and we still miss being able to come in. If you're not pretentious or high maintenance, stop in for a good time. Bartenders friendly!

Not a bad place to pop in and get a beer or mixed drink. Not sure of any food offerings as we only had a couple of drinks. It smells like a bar but I am ok with that.

This is a great place to grab drinks. I’ve never had the food here. This is more of a dive bar sort of environment. It’s cash only and they have an atm towards the front of the building. They have a loyal following and it can be busy (and fun) here on weekends. Definitely trying stopping in if you’re ever in the area!

Fun spot for trivia, and good beers on tap. Don't go off of current information on their website. They advertise that "Pizza's on us @ 8pm," but then didn't actually offer any food. Bartenders were incredibly rude and dismissive when we asked about info that was current on their website. Would have been fine if not advertised!!

This is one of the last dive bars left in Boston proper and is definitely worth going to with a group. It even comes with the loud music and sticky floors. The bartenders are friendly and the beer selection is pretty good. They also have a couple cheap draft beers. To the side you'll find a couple basketball hoop games and buck hunter. The bar is pretty small though so as it starts to get busy it can get uncomfortable quick. If you are over 26, I would steer clear after about 10pm on Fridays and Saturdays unless you like waiting 30 minutes to get a drink and enjoy people watching as you will see the younger crowd come in dressed to the 9's for a night out which is definitely funny to see in a dive bar.

Had a horrible experience at the Beacon Hill Pub last night. My best friend from high school was having his Bachelor party and I came in from New York to be there. My friend is 24 and has a real NH issued ID. This was the first bar we went to and the bouncer rejected his ID. Upon further persistence that the ID was real, the bouncer showed his manager and he/she confirmed that it was "fake". I would suggest this bar invest in the appropriate technology to ensure an ID is real as opposed to fake. However, we still had a great time celebrating the night at bars that are able to effectively check an ID.

Great bar dive bar right near the MBTA (Charles/MGH on the Red Line). I went on karaoke night which isn't typically my thing, but the drinks were affordable and the crowd was great. People seemed excited to be out and things seemed like they were back to normal. I was even convinced to hop on stage and perform and the crowd was very inviting and supportive. The karaoke DJ (I think his name was AJ) was also super cool, even throwing in harmonies and backing vocals during some of the songs! If you're looking for a cool dice car to relax, check this one out!

One of the best hidden gems in the city. This place looks like a closed up building on the outside, but houses one of the best dive bars around. The drinks flow cheap, and no matter the time of day there's always a crowd. They also have two bars which helps with the weekend crowds.
