Northumberland locals, we’re having a weekend away in Beadnell, so booked the Towers last night for dinner. We’ve raved about our experiences there before but last night was not at all good. We’d booked a table. It was occupied by drinkers when we got there! When we finally got seated service was slow. The meal was distinctly average (how can chips be that undercooked?!) and the food is expensive for what it is…£40 for a steak??! After we had eaten, we sat for an age until I finally went to the bar to ask the table be cleared…partly thanks to a certain member of staff who seemed way more interested in a prolonged conversation with two bar guests. The table was then cleared finally with apologies and, recognising the failure, we got 10% off the bill but tbh we’d rather have had no reason for that in the first place. We had planned to come in for breakfast on Sunday but, after that last night, no chance. Whatever Beadnell Towers has been to us and our friends over the years something just isn’t right anymore and we won’t be rushing back anytime soon and will also be advising our Alnwick holiday lets the same! Poor!

Stayed for a friends birthday. Bar and restaurant were fantastic - excellent cocktail happy hour, and food was delicious, both evening meal and breakfast. Pork cheek and venison absolutely delicious and service was excellent, particularly for a large group. The room was well maintained and nicely decorated, however the shower was lukewarm at best, and others in our party reported the same issue in their rooms. There is a small sign saying this is due to a legal temperature limit being applied however I have never heard of this in any other hotel and is disappointing given the Northumbrian coast is beautiful, but chilly and the rooms aren’t cheap. If they could sort this out it would be a 5* trip as it’s a beautiful place in a stunning location.

Amazing hotel in a beautiful location! Gorgeous room with everything you could require, beautiful food in the restaurant both evening meal and breakfast. Staff are both knowledgeable and friendly. Would not hesitate to recommend this wonderful hotel in gorgeous Beadnell.

We spent our 1st wedding anniversary back at Beadnell Towers, amazing welcome, gorgeous rooms and food. Maria you make our stay memorable just like out wedding reception last year and our dogs love you. Everyone is just truly amazing and make you feel so special when you stay. We had our wedding reception here in December 2024, nothing was too much trouble and our guests and us had a wonderful time and made so many memories to treasure. We never wanted to leave and felt the same this year. You all so deserve the Michelin Key. Mick, Maria thank you for everything

We visited on two occasions. Saturday evening we enjoyed what has to be the best hotel meal I have had. Haggis scotch egg to start, perfectly cooked steak for my main meal and a delicious strawberry ice cream for dessert. On Monday we popped in for the cocktail happy hour and were very impressed by the dedication shown in their creation. My partner's experience was similar to my own. I must also mention the convivial atmosphere, and the friendliness of the staff and the attention to detail. Their professionalism was the icing on the cake. So, a big thank you to Robert, Tom, Stuart and Cameron, plus the staff behind the scenes who made the experience extraordinarily special. You all rock!

What a great hotel. The staff are friendly and welcoming and do a great job. The rooms are excellent in both size and furnishing and this offers a very boutique approach with no two rooms the same. The food, whilst I’ve only ever had breakfast, is very good and freshly prepared.

Stayed overnight and ate in the restaurant. What an incredible place. The welcome was vary warm indeed and the service was excellent throughout. The rooms are finished to a very high standard and the food was superb. We'll definitely be back.

We were a party of four who stayed last weekend . The booking over the phone with Cameron was really coming and he did a brilliant job all weekend looking after us . Maria made check in was so welcoming and she was around to advise us on our needs . Our rooms “ Ducket” and “ Hyem” were lovely , sis opus clean and warm . The food was excellent and as I vegitarian the choices really good and not the boring norm usually offered . Thank you bar staff too . A fabulous stay .
