Such a nice place!!! Excellent choices for breakfast, made fresh right there. I had an everything bagel with sausages and cheese and it was delicious. I also had a cappuccino and it was one of the best I ever had. I am Italian from Rome (in South Carolina for a one week visit) so I drink cappuccino every morning for breakfast and I can assure you that this one was one of the best. The coffee blend was also really good. No bitterness or a burned after taste as in the likes of Starbucks. If you are in Florence S.C. or driving through DON’T MISS IT!!!!

I am a travel healthcare worker, currently taking the Amtrak back and forth from Florence to the outerbanks. I am always looking for a fun way to spend my time while I am visiting each new town. Happened a cross this place, and honestly I cannot remember the last time I experienced such delicious food in such a beautiful and friendly way. I plan to make this a regular drop in. Thank you to ‘the Bean Bar’ and their amazing staff for starting my weekend off just right! 🩷

This coffee shop has ample parking. It is well advertised from the outside of the building with a porch area for outside eating. The interior is very nicely decorated with quirky posters and signs. There are plenty of alt beverages for healthier drinking. There is a bakery case as well, so you can see examples of what to order with a menu right above. The service was very friendly and thorough with a repeat back of the order. The wait was quick, and the staff were very helpful. Be mindful that bfast is 7-10 am if arrive late they'll offer lunch options. I would make this a coffee shop on my 95 travels to return.

Popped in for a cold brew after a hot run on the rail trail. This spot did not disappoint! The employees were so friendly and welcoming; I genuinely felt like they were excited I was there (in the midst of a busy Saturday with a room full of customers). Highly recommend the bourbon maple foam -- not too sweet and honestly perfect. Would love to stop by again whenever I pass through Florence!

The bean bar is clean and welcoming, I ordered a vanilla latte, and it was awesome. They were closing soon so bakery was half off, I chose a chocolate chip cookie and it was super fresh and yummy. Don't hesitate to stop in and check it out!

Another gem on my continuous search for coffee shops around the US that also appeal to tea drinkers! Super modern, clean, beautiful place with plenty of parking and plenty of seating. The baristas were knowledgeable about making a tea latte, which is always your first green flag, and they made an excellent English Breakfast latte for me. I also had a bagel with veggie cream cheese, and ordered, some of their pop tarts and an adorable sugar cookie to go. The manager was super nice and I just love the feeling of the place.

I’m so glad I skipped Starbucks and picked a local spot! The staff was so friendly and I felt truly welcomed and appreciated. They make their own syrups in house which I had never experienced before, so I opted for a delicious brown sugar latte instead my usual black coffee. The salmon bagel was also delicious. I would highly recommend this coffee shop!

This was one of the most beautiful coffee shops I've ever been to. The atmosphere was great but the staff were even better. We stopped in during a 7 hour road trip and grabbed a coffee. Not only was the coffee one of the best (if not the best) I've ever had, but I'm also a barista so good coffee is hard to come by for me. I'm extremely particular. Everything is sourced well, syrups made in house, baked goods made by a local baker who also sources mindfully. We have a little travel buddy that we bring with us (a plush goose stuffed animal) and the staff brought us a little Dopio cup (just a miniature to-go coffee cup basically). Before leaving, we bought an adorable little hat for $3 for our goose friend. To say the least, we will definitely be stopping by again on the way home from our trip if possible! Wow! So impressed with this wonderful coffee shop! When traveling I always check Yelp for reviews and this little spot did not disappoint. The servers and coffee quality ,10 stars!!

Super nice people! Upon entering I started to scan the menu. I was greeted and they told me to take my time. I mentioned it was my first time there and they got all excited. Then they told me something I had never heard from a coffee shop before. If you order a drink and you do not like it for whatever reason, they will make you some else at no charge. I really liked the atmosphere and location. Again, super friendly staff and the drinks I had were quite enjoyable. Highly recommend this place!

Fabulous small town coffee shop with delicious espresso drinks, homemade flavored syrups and cold foams. Staff was super kind and friendly. Cool artwork and ambiance. Great place to stop on a road trip too as there is a big field you/kids can run around or just get fresh air. 10/10 recommend on all fronts!

I highly recommend this spot! The Veggie Scramble on Everything Bagel with Sweet & Spicy Ketchup was great! The Almond Latte special was even better. The artwork inside and the general esthetic of both the inside and outside of the building was fun and modern. Definitely stop here!

During my East Coast road trip, I discovered The Bean Bar, a hidden gem of a coffee shop. On the day I visited, a farmers market was set up outside, adding a lively touch with local vendors displaying their goods. The Bean Bar stands out for its exceptional coffee, friendly service, and inviting atmosphere. It's a must-visit for both coffee lovers and casual drinkers. The artwork around the shop was also worth mentioning in a letter home.

What a gem!!! Visited Saturday because I was in town for business. The entire experience was lovely. Such a beautiful restaurant with great employees. I had the hibiscus tea. Lovedddd it. 10/10. Would have again. I absolutely loved all the plants and the music as well. Thank you Bean Bar for a wonderful experience. I'll be back.

They open at 7am but I was here at 6:30 and saw people going inside. It turns out that they have a pretty big staff and they were busy setting up and cleaning. I sat outside and was first in the door when they opened. Yes, I will wait for #LocalCoffee! Two hours which was long enough to charge up laptop and phone, write some Yelp reviews and most important... drink an amazingly delicious pourover coffee. It was served in an Erlenmeyer flask and that's awesome. A little cream (yeah, that ruins it) and it was perfect for me. Love this gem of a place! Such a nice environment for coffee with friends or by yourself to get some work done. I absolutely love their community table and customer service! I had the cinnamon spice pop tart (Adult pop tart! ) and a pumpkin pie latte! They were great! Highly recommend this place for meet ups, work sessions, and everything else. Bonus: Also, a great place for the family and fur babies as they are right next to a family friendly brewery! The Bean Bar also has dog bowls for fur babies to enjoy on the patio area. Again, love this place! Will definitely be back!

Very friendly service- perfect way to start the day! Bagel egg sandwich was delicious, and the chocolate ganache is amazing lovely add to a coffee. The mocha latte was superb.

I really enjoyed the unique look and feel of this coffee shop. We tried two different drinks (an americano and an iced latte) which both tasted great. I appreciated the different seating options, such as the bar I could stand at and the tables outside on the patio. The service was great, too. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The only problem I had was with the price. I'm pretty sure that that is the most I have ever paid for normal drinks at a coffee shop. That being said, I would go back because it was high quality and a good place to sit and work or meet people.

Decided to try a new coffee place, and saw this amazing place on Yelp! Definitely not disappointed! Cashier lady was very nice and when I told her that it was our first time here, she took the time to explain about the coffee and if we had any questions, to fill free to ask her. Our drinks were amazing. and everyone who worked there was so magical and sweet!! Will definitely be back the next time we pass in town!

Best coffee shop in Florence! Reminds me of Asheville NC. Drinks are delicious. Great customer service too. Just wish they had gluten free food!

I'm here for the coffee. I didn't try the food. Had a traditional macchiato. Better than most. When I went back to get a 2nd drink I found they can't make a breve. This is the only coffee bar in the country I've been in that doesn't carry 1/2&1/2. Whole milk, oat milk, and heavy cream. The barista was entirely unwilling to even try anything outside of his normal routine. So I left. I'm not paying for something I don't want. And if they won't even try. I'll go elsewhere. Aside from that weirdness the service was amazing. And the place was very clean.

Great place to sit down, coffee is real good too! The people are super nice and smiley too.

Wow, I'm so glad I saw reviews for this coffee shop while heading home from Beaufort, SC. Their rose latte is incredible. But what impressed me even more--their customer service! The drink was a solid 10. The service was even more noteworthy. The staff were so welcoming. The woman at the register really took the time to tell me and everyone in line before and after me about how their business operates and about their coffees. When I went to grab my drink from the counter, a barista said to give it a sip to assess the temperature and flavor. If anything needed to be fixed, let her know and she'd make it right or give me my money back! What more could you possibly ask for? The shop was also impeccably clean and airy and bright. They also had some comfy outdoor seating. Definitely a great spot for a pit stop whether headed north or south on 95.

Decent enough spot, they use counter culture beans. My test for coffee places is to ask for a flat white. Got a cappuccino in the same size as what the latte comes in, so that was unfortunate. Pretty loud inside but sitting outside is a good option cause table service is great.

One of the best iced coffees I have ever had. The homemade vanilla syrup and whip is amazing and really sets them apart from other coffee shops. Will definitely be back when in the area!

What a gem. The staff is friendly and seemed to truly appreciate customers. I have a tumeric ginger latte with almond milk. It is a fantastic balance of flavor. Hubby got a mocha Americano. The cashier cautioned him, but he loves dark chocolate and this is exactly what he ws looking for. Just a few miles off of I95 and with it.

My partner and I stopped here on a road trip as we passed through SC and I'm so glad we did - this place is a gem! The staff are absolutely incredible, so welcoming and helpful, and the place is just beautiful. As queer people we felt especially welcome here. They had a great selection of interesting coffees and pastries made by local bakers. I got a churro latte and we purchased a handmade cookie and macarons and loved everything. I wish this place was closer to us because I would go all the time!

This is a real respite in Florence. Very relaxing and warm environment created by an inviting, knowledgeable and customer oriented staff. Both the interior and exterior spaces provide relaxing spaces...the interior full of intriguing art, merch, and equality affirming images and symbols. Go Bean Bin! I had already coffee'd up for the day so I opted for the turmeric ginger latte...really refreshing and warming along with a toasted sesame bagel with the sun dried tomato pesto...yum. Keep up the excellent work and intentional good vibes ‍‍

What a nice coffee shop! I was getting by my car windshield replaced at the Safelite down the road, and I passed it coming in. After my brother and sister-in-law picked me up, we decided to try it out. Bean bar is nestled in a place that looks like it belongs in the mountains. The aesthetic inside is immaculate, with a modern comfy vibe. Artwork is welcoming, as was the service. Upon entering, one of their servers came up to us and explained how the shop only uses organic ingredients and compostable materials. I got the everything bagel and a churro latte; both were delicious. Cream cheese was homemade, and the bagel was toasted to perfection. My sister-in-law got a homemade pop tart, which was also delicious! Highly recommend this place if you need a coffee and a good time

I love bean bar! The service is always amazing and the atmosphere is bright. I come here to study from time to time and they really pay attention to the atmosphere. If there's just a few quiet people studying they'll turn down the music and make it something calm. If there's lots of people, they'll turn it up and have it more fun. Plus they have the best caramel latte is Florence! I only wish they opened sooner (6am) so I could do my early morning studying there!

Great find while stopping for lunch on a trip. We wanted good coffee and this was a great place to go. Had great conversation with staff. Great cafe with lots of cool coffee and other artwork. I could see going here regularly if I lived in the neighborhood.

We stopped in South Carolina for a quick hotel stay on a long road trip. Since free hotel coffee isn't the best, we decided to venture out in search of a coffee shop. We came across Bean Bar- and I'm so glad we did. To begin with , the space is beautiful! Very open, lots of natural lighting, well decorated. When I made my way up to order, the staff was extremely friendly. I asked for a drink suggestion and she recommended a seasonal special- and told me if I didn't like it, they could make me something else. They also have little baked goods- including matcha cookies! There's coffee related merchandise and trinkets available for purchase as well. The drinks themselves were delicious. We probably won't be driving through this area often, but it's close enough off I-95, you should definitely stop on your next road trip!

Be prepared to wait 25 minutes in line just to order coffee. With a cashier in no hurry at all. Very frustrating.

I adore this coffee shop. The employees are ALWAYS very welcoming and polite. Having someone who's sole job is to open the door for customers is a nice touch (that could be a Covid thing, not sure). The setting and atmosphere of this place couldn't be better. The inside is modern and cozy, and the outdoor porch seating is so inviting and fun. Both are perfect to sit and do work alone or hang out with friends. The only reason I give them 4 stars instead of 5 is that the coffee just isn't the best. And it breaks my heart, I want so bad to like it more. But every time I've been, my coffee has been very weak. Even when I order an extra shot, it's just still doesn't do it for me. But if you're someone who drinks tea or likes coffee with lots of flavoring, you might feel differently. I'm a plain latte person. I would still encourage everyone to go here and try it for yourself!

My wife and I were passing through Florence on our way to Florida and stopped here since it's right off 95 and the reviews were great. We got a bagel, pop tart, ginger tea, and churro latte. Everything was amazing and CHEAP compared to DC area coffee shops. I wish this wonderful, kind, inclusive place was closer to home! Will definitely be back if we're ever in Florence again.

We were just passing through town on the way back home from moving our daughter to Baltimore, and we happened upon this little gem. My goodness, what a find! Everyone there was so friendly and welcoming that we felt like old friends rather than new customers. The coffee drinks were delicious and prepared exactly to order. And we were asked several times how everything was and had a very pleasant conversation with one of the baristas. The only disappointing thing is that we live so far away. But whenever we're in Florence again, it's a must-stop. Thank you all!

Stopped in on a long drive and was so glad I did! I order a caramel macchiato everywhere I go., but this one was just different. Far and above the best I've ever had! If you're passing through on the 95 and enjoy coffee, it's worth the slight detour :)

Fantastic customer service. Ladies were so nice and offered customer satisfaction to remake or tweak drinks if desired up front. There was no need though because despite lavender honey seeming kinda weird for a syrup flavor in a latte it was on point. Had a 10th drink is free card too kinda regret not taking the time to get it since I'll probably be back. Only been back in the states for 2 months and this service was good enough to make me wrote a review which I've never done.

As a transplant from Tacoma Washington to the south, this place gave me all kinds of warm fuzzy feelings. Great vibe, friendly humans, delicious coffee and food. Wish I live closer so I can come here everyday.
