I don’t give a lot of places 5 stars in all categories but this place has earned every one of them. I’ve been here twice, the first time was packed and had a bit of a wait, but was well worth it. The second time we came in about 30 minutes before close and were going to take our food to go as to not make staff stay late, and instead they were very polite and welcomed us to stay. The food is phenomenal, I highly recommend the omelets. It’s a family business and they were awesome. Checked on us, had good conversation and were welcoming. Not only was their pricing extremely fair, they also have a quite impressive collection of hot sauces to choose from which is amazing. And aside from the hot sauce bar, the place is small but the atmosphere, layout and furniture choices are all spot on. All their drinks are good, they have tons of ample parking, outdoor seating and they even have a drive through! Will definitely be coming back.

Google
The atmosphere, the food, and the coffee are superb. The selection of flavored lattes is great. They make a great Eggs Benedict. Outdoor seating and great views top off your dining experience. We had lunch for the first time. It was very good. I recommend the half and half selection. Smoothies are great, too.

Google
Came to this location earlier today and I cannot believe I've never heard of this place before! Super cheap food I got 3 pancakes, 6 bacon strips, 2 small drinks, and a side of home fries for about $33 not including the tip. As well, I'm not sure of the employees name, but she was super sweet and attentive to me and my friends table. I plan on coming back when I visit down here from college. If you haven't come here already you're missing out!!

Google
This cafe is a hidden gem! The menu selections offer the best of breakfast and lunch options. It was hard to choose from both the creative and the traditional brunch choices. So many Eggs Benedict choices! The staff was attentive and helpful. Chef Aimee came out to make sure we were happy with our meals. The food was exceptional! We will absolutely be back!

Google
A perfect place for delicious diner food and cafe quality coffees. Good service and friendly staff.

Google
Had a brunch/lunch with the family here and the vegan food was extremely delicious. The coffee drinks were impressive and fun. Very accommodating staff and I appreciate the extensive hot sauce collection.

Was recommended this place by a coworker and I’m so happy I came! Being vegan makes it difficult to eat out, but this place is always such a delight. The workers are super friendly and the food is absolutely incredible—especially because the menu is so inclusive. So far, I’ve tried the Spicy Bang Bang Crispy Avocado & Tomato, Tofu Chicken Quesadilla, and Vegan Death Valley Wrap. I could not believe the tofu tasted just like chicken! I was also able to get some oat milk with my coffee which is awesome! FYI: Be sure to check their Facebook page for updates on hours; sometimes they close early or don’t open at all due to being short on staff.

Google
My wife and I go here every week we are off for breakfast. They make the best vanilla chai latte I have ever had, their pancakes are possibly the best I've had (try the Sur with the walnuts abd strawberries), and the San Diego french toast is super awesome. Great service too and everyone is super nice.

Yelp
It's always our tradition to come and eat here. It's absolutely delicious. If you come on a Sunday expect it to be busy. Our waitress was the absolute sweetest such a positive bright girl. I always love getting their caramel iced latte it's sooooo delicious and tasty, you don't even need to add anything to it. The avocado toast is definitely a go to of mine!! I'm a very frequent customer here and I'll continue to go and you should too!

Yelp
Love this family-run restaurant. Cup of Kona coffee was pretty smooth and good. Chicken salad sandwich was very good. French fries that came with it were also very good. Blueberry Muffin sliced & grilled was moist and really good. I ate smaller half, took larger half to go. Awesome place for lunch.

Yelp
On arrival the place was busy and only a few tables available. It took a while until anyone acknowledged us. We put in our order and we were pleased at how quickly our food arrived. I had the El Dorado omelet which was very bland. With ham, turkey, cheese and topped with hollandaise sauce it should be bursting with flavor. My husband had the Sacramento Staple with 2 eggs over medium and bacon. He got one piece of toast for two eggs? The best part of our breakfast were the potatoes which we both enjoyed. I also got their Famous Frappe and it was yummy. Then came the check plus tip at $44. With a 4.4 star rating I expected better food.

Yelp
The owner is an absolute sweetheart, the waitstaff ... especially Nicholas is always friendly, efficient, and accommodating to special requests of their chef. She is truly one of the best as the consistency and quality is a big factor for us. They don't compromise quality or any ingredients. The California scramble is one of our favorites or the sweet potatoes Benedict.... It's a hard toss up. Chris please don't ever change a thing! Your place is by far one of the best for a classier and more west coast appeal of breakfast and brunch / lunch options! I'll remember to take pics next time!

Yelp
Found this little gem of a place last week when headed to tour Martin Guitar. The menu is great with some unique breakfasts platters on it. The food was delicious and the wait staff was super attentive. Highly recommend this place for a great breakfast!

Yelp
Food is delicious and the order is always accurate. Love the small town family owned vibe that the service provides. The Lavender Chai Latte is my favorite thing to order on a cold rainy day.

Yelp
Very friendly staff and great quality of food. I grew up not far from here so this was a welcomed discovery! Breakfast all day is something I to find. Keep up the great work and food quality everyone!

Yelp
We came here with seven adults and three kids between 5-11 years old for a birthday brunch. The food was very good. The place was buzzing on a Sunday morning. Our order was taken quickly without being rushed. Suggestions were made when asked for. Our food arrived in a timely manner for ten people in the middle of breakfast on a Sunday morning. Everything was hot and nothing was incorrect. We sat for a little bit afterward and got coffee refills and weren't rushed out or anything. Highly recommend

Yelp
One of the coziest and delicious places for breakfast or brunch. During the warmer seasons they have outdoor seating overlooking part of the valley, nice scenery. Good coffee options - cappuccinos, lattes, etc. I typically get the eggs Benedict but their entire menu is awesome.

Yelp
Funny older waiter. Great Fraps! Breakfast hot and wonderful. French toast absolutely amazing! View is really peaceful too

Yelp
Really good food...nice ambiance, I've only been there for breakfast. Dirty bathroom.

Yelp
Checked this place out when we arrived in PA from NY to go skiing. Place is great. Staff attentive. Food excellent and quick to come out. Highly recommend if you're local or traveling and looking for a great breakfast place!

Sue S.

Yelp
The San Francisco Benedict was outstanding . Server was attentive but not hovering. A friend and I met there, driving a bit of a distance , but it was well worth it.

Donna R.

Yelp
Excellent food and awesome breakfast choices. Quick and friendly service. I want to come back so I can try some of the additional choices. Place is very clean and inviting.

Yelp
This is the sunrise from Beanbath Cafe. This place is a gem. A small business, with amazing flavors. The servers are top notch, the coffee is amazing, and the food is exceptional. It's fresh, it's filling and you can relax while you eat. FREE wifi, a beautiful view, great food and drinks... what more do you need?

Meghan S.

Yelp
Service is always so friendly and food is always amazing!!! Price is great for the amount of food that you receive, always leave pleased.

Jessica Z.

Yelp
Great breakfast food!! Quick service and yummy coffee. The employees are always very friendly and nice, highly recommended. Nice and chill during the week if you are looking for a place to eat lunch and do some work but gets that nice family crowd on the weekends!

Yelp
A friend and I met there for brunch on a Saturday. The manager (and owner?) seated us and a member of the family (I'm assuming) waited on us. You get the feel of a family-run restaurant. The menu has a variety of brunch items that go beyond the standard diner fare, of which there is too much in the area. This place is well-priced for the neighborhood. We both got standard benedicts which were good. We stayed a while after we finished eating to chat, as the brunch rush had died down. The staff made sure we never ran out of water and coffee.

Yelp
Very cute small place. Been here a few times with parties of all different sizes. Signature drinks are amazing, service has always been spectacular and I loved every single dish so far. The breakfast potatoes are sooo good!
google avatar

Yelp
Great service, quite speedy, and the food was amazing. I had the migas - I recommend it. They have a deep bench when it comes to hot sauces, which is always appreciated. Espresso drinks were good too.

Dory S.

Yelp
Very good. Nice variety. Friendly and efficient wait staff. Would recommend and would return!!

Yelp
Delicious & trendy - comfy feel. The food is flavorful, a quality breakfast joint. Our server slightly slow, but we weren't on a rush. They have a full coffee bar The owner (I think) asked how everything was during our meal & said thanks for stopping by- I think that's great!

Yelp
Nice selection of food and you better make a reservation ahead, otherwise there is long waiting list. I gave it 3 stars because they are closed all day after breakfast

Yelp
Amazing find in Bath, PA. Delicious coffees - with a full espresso menu and regular for those that have simpler tastes. Food was fresh and made to order. Again, options ranged from standard to extraordinary. The Greek frittata was amazing and my friend had two eggs over easy and was well pleased. Looking forward to my next trip.

Yelp
For several years I have been wanting to stop and try this cafe when traveling between Stroudsburg and Bethlehem on Rt. 512 but never had the time. Yesterday my 14 year old grandson and I were ready for some lunch on the return trip home to Stroudsburg and I immediately thought of BeanBath Cafe. It turned out to be a great dining experience. The menu was different and unique from your everyday cafe. The wait staff was pleasant, friendly and patient and our food was delivered to our table in a timely manor. My grandson is a picky eater but he enjoyed everything as I did also. I will definitely return and also with friends in toe. Paula B.

Yelp
Friendly fantastic food and coffee. Family owned and operated. Many options including vegan breakfasts. Omelets, sandwiches and pancakes are always on point. Extra toast is a bit pricey ;) Great lattes and my favorite java chai.

William W.

Yelp
Bean Bath is my go to place for breakfast and occasionally lunch. The family is awesome, the food is always fresh and delicious and the atmosphere is relaxed. This place is a little jewel in the Lehigh Valley and a great place to go. Set just north of Bath PA and overlooking fields and trees adds to the warm and inviting atmosphere. So check it out, enjoy the food and try it for yourself!

Yelp
#contactlessordering #breakfast #lunch #bethlehem #burgers #wraps #friendly #stophere I loved the ambiance here with wooden floors, artwork on the walls and a lovely outside area in the back behind the dining room. At least two employees asked me if there was anything else that I needed whilst I sat here to cool off from the humidity and walk back to my car. Before I stopped here, I went into Ace Hardware. It's very walkable here and street parking with the ParkMobile app was super easy, too. They close at 3pm, so if you want a grilled item such as a burger, get here by 2pm. Loved it here!! For now, it's no cash accepted, so bring a debit or credit card. Not sure how long this will last.

Yelp
Many times I've been to BeanBath Cafe, taking family and friends there. Always positive, food and drinks top notch. In fact I hope to go today in about an hour! (Adding to my review after today's visit). Our waiter remembered my dad and me after over a year hiatus, that's really nice. I asked him if they could make Huevos Rancheros, even though it's not the menu. He said they could not. Please, add this one! I trust your staff will make a great interpretation of this breakfast favorite!

Jacob H.

Yelp
I'm all for a business making their money but if you want my advice remove one two top table from your restaurant. When I got out to eat I want to be comfortable . Our host sticks us at a dirty two top on the corner. It was so tight I couldn't even move no thank you. Too packed for me .

Katie N.

Yelp
Our family loves Bean Bath! We have been coming here for years and take all our visiting family and friends. The food is great and the service can not be topped. Try the amazing specialty coffees; they do not disappoint.

Tim S.

Yelp
They struggle trying to keep up with demand. Sometimes they won't take phone in pick up orders. Close some Saturdays without warning. When they're on, it's great.....
google avatar

Yelp
Wow! The owner himself greeted us, wished my friend a happy birthday and told us the history of his restaurant as well as best choices. The food is amazing, the servers friendly and overall amazing! So glad we stopped for lunch here. I'll definitely be back. P.s. everything I ate was 5 stars so delicious

George S.

Yelp
Great food. Great people that own it!! Can't ask for more than that!!!!! A Gem!! Nicholas n Caitlyn are the best!!!

Helen H.

Yelp
Great place for a cheap, simple, and tasty breakfast or brunch. I went for the first time with a friend on a Wednesday morning and we only had to wait 10-15 minutes. One comment about the actual building is that it would be nice if they had more seating! I got french toast and some turkey bacon and my friend got eggs and french toast. The food came quick and was good. It was priced nicely as well. We were able to sit and catch up for about 3 hours without feeling rushed, and were consistently asked if we wanted more water.

Yelp
I had really high hopes for the little spot after reading the reviews. We drove about 25 mins to have breakfast here. The inside is super cute and cozy, and they have a nice sized breakfast menu. On a Thursday morning there was a out 5 tables and one server. As you know, a server can make or break your dining experience. Unfortunately, our server just wasn't good. If you are solo then you must be a strong experienced server and able to keep up. She lacked the ability to know how to multitask. I asked for lemon with my water 3x and waited 25 mins until she finally remembered to bring it. We arrived before another party of two and ordered yet she placed their order to the kitchen before ours so they were literally leaving when we finally got our food. It appeared that they were regulars and got special treatment. There was a gentleman who came out once to clear and wipe some tables, I'm not sure his role but I later saw him sitting on the sofa down the hall having coffee and doing paperwork, so I presume he was the owner r manager. It would have been nice if he helped out the solo server a bit more. On a bright note, the food was pretty tasty. My verde breakfast burrito was very yummy and my mom enjoyed her frittata. But as I said, service counts a lot for the overall experience and it left a lot to be desired.

Bill M.

Yelp
Much of the food is unique and is all top quality. The hot drinks are better than Starbucks in my opinion. The service is quick and amazingly friendly. Chances are you will be served by one of the family members that run this business. Only complaint is that there is limited seating and sometimes you feel rushed during breakfast as you watch others wait to be seated during peak times.

Angela F.

Yelp
Love their unique menu! Breakfast is my favorite and they have great coffees too. The owner always comes by and says hi. Never had a bad experience there. We will keep going back!

Yelp
I just had my last experience at this cafe. My family have been frequent diners since they opened, and the food is good, obviously. However, the (I'm assuming owner)older gentlemen could use some thorough classes in customer service. My mother hates confrontation, but today she asked for a cappuccino and what she got was pretty damn bitter. I tried to help her drink it because we didn't want to waste it, but only managed two sips. Almost tasted burnt... so I encouraged her to say something. She simply asked for it to be taken off the table and stated it was very bitter. She did not ask for it to be taken off the bill because we did drink some of it, but the waiter was kind and did take it off of the bill. I watched as he took it back and the older gentleman questioned our waiter, I watched his (older gentleman) entire demeanor change and he was visibly upset. The older gentleman scowled at our table a few more times, shook his head and after we finished eating, he came to grab our card to pay. Well, before walking off with the card he says "so you had the espresso experience?" My mother told him the same thing she told the waiter "it was a cappuccino and yes, it was very bitter" His reply was "we use the same bean every time for the cappuccino so next time order a regular coffee. I'm sorry you had that experience". This was not a friendly suggestion, this was his attempt at reprimanding a customer he didn't agree with. Even if they do use the same bean every time, that's not exactly the best way to make a new suggestion to a returning customer. He was rude and condescending. It's a shame because when he decided to belittle a customer, he ruined business for his entire staff. There are plenty of good cafes and we will be choosing else where to spend our money. Gave them three starts because the food is good, and the rest of the staff is very nice, but not worth the stress of having to speak to or deal with the older gentleman.

Yelp
Stopped in for a quick breakfast and it was great. Definitely try the lavender coffee.. soo good! Definitely a great little hometown stop for a good meal.

Yelp
I love this place for the tasty food and excellent healthy options and specials. My only concern stems from the lack of cleanliness. The restaurant needs a good scrubbing! If you look around, you can see that the place is not cleaned well. The bathrooms are pretty gross and if you peak in the kitchen... well ... in looking at the health score, it doesn't have critical infractions but has some cleanliness issues. With that said, I don't know if the dirty-factor will keep me away because the food is that yummy! :)
google avatar

Andrew G.

Yelp
Called and placed an order only to show up and have 5 confused employees running around just to tell me that they didn't have my order and they almost made my drink wrong but I had to correct them twice on how I ordered it the first time. Dont recommend calling and placing an order, customer service is alright, better place to dine in than take out.

Yelp
We came this morning and were very pleased! The owner greeted us and he's a character, lol. Our waitress was friendly and helpful. The food was delicious. We had the cowboy killer and California scrambles. My fiancé also had a caramel macchiato! Yum! We'll be back for sure!

Yelp
- odd location, inside first impression mismatched furniture is corky but good home welcoming vibe, well lit inside. - Friendly staff, the owner is also the waitress, host and food prepper when it comes out of kitchen...she is there every Monday if you would like to meet her and her family work the remainder of the work week. - open 7 days a week, 7:30am - 2pm everyday. They dont kick you out after 2pm either if you are there prior to 2pm - Jazz Music is the ambience inside - carefully crafted Menu by the owner, Hard to choose because of such a large variety. Prepare to spend a decent amount of money (one person) (one meal) around $12-$16, but large portion sizes for the price and astonishing enough the presentation and fresh food and fruit and baked goods and yogurt was perfect. - " Children " , child friendly, booster seats available, baby changing tables in both Male and Female Restroom. - Restroom, Dinning area and Kitchen is Clean i took a close look at everything. - fresh coffee and they design every one with foam designs are artistic, they have to go cups, tons of coffee favors to choose from, also different variety of sugar to choose from, organic coffee as well. - not too much vegan options, as well as not many gluten free options

Yelp
We were visiting family in town and searched Yelp! for a breakfast place and stumbled upon this restaurant Firstly, there was only one waitress for the four tables seated. We had very slow service because of this, which I understand is not the fault of the waitress but needs to be addressed by the owner. We had to wait an extremely long time for our check at the end of the meal. The coffee selection was good with some interesting "fall" options. I ordered the red velvet latte and my husband ordered the pumpkin spice latte. Both were good but not the best I have ever had, but I could tell however it was made from fresh coffee. So the worst part of our experience was when I ordered the pumpkin pancakes. They were not cooked and still wet in the middle. I don't mean, overly moist, I mean raw. Because of this I sent back the pancakes. The waitress relayed a message from the cook that they were cooked that way because of " the cream cheese in the batter". This is completely false and always dangerous. Being pregnant I can not consume uncooked egg which is in pancake batter. Also I have eaten (and cooked myself) cream cheese pancakes and they were never wet in the middle. Obviously cream cheese can be cooked to a solid form because cheese cake exists...

Yelp
If you are looking to support a local business this is a fantastic one! The food is delicious and so comforting now that we are in the throes of winter. The delivery was very quick and everything was still hot! I will definitely be ordering again! This is one happy pregnant momma and I greatly appreciate them sticking with it during this time!

Amy H.

Yelp
I've been wanting to try this place for awhile now and I came in the other day with my boyfriend.. I called ahead to reserve a table for the two of us and when we arrived we were greeted with such friendly staff! The food was AMAZING and the service was excellent! Portions were huge, prices were reasonable, and the safety guidelines during these COVID times were met! Will definitely be back again soon, I was beyond satisfied with this little cafe!

Yelp
Wow is this place is great but in a slightly empty location, sitting on hill on Rt. 512, between Bath & Bushkill. Came here for a late breakfast & glad I did. Had the Humberto wrap, a bit spicy but awesome, coffee too. Looks like I found the best spot in the Valley. They also do dinners on Friday & Saturday only, BYOB. If they put a bed in here I won't leave, that good.

Yelp
Went for the first time this week and loved it! The atmosphere and decor really were nice to see for being in a pretty unsuspecting place. I'll definitely be going back since the coffee and food were both great. Plus, the server we had was bubbly and fun!
