Weird middle class gatekeepy vibe, i showed up to volunteer my labor for a different org and the person at the door tried to make me feel like i was doing something wrong by being on the premises as a non-member of Beanlandia. Edit, since google doesn't let you reply to businesses that reply: obviously I'm not going to pay for the privilege of volunteering my labor, which is why Mayahuel made a guest list for non-members after Beanlandia sprung this on them last-minute. I work two jobs already as it is and I'm just trying to be a part of my community, and you made me feel unwelcome in my own neighborhood. Please check your priorities.

Everyone here is so sweet and amazing! I love going here for my meetings and sometimes seeing the events that they have!!

Home base of the Krewe of Red Beans with so much more on the horizon. Combination community center, event space, bar/restaurant and lots more coming.

A great place for events only downside is no air conditioning. Other than that it's nice
