Gyokuro Matcha Cream Puff is my recommendation if you want to try a unique flavor from Japan. It is not too sweet in a perfectly good way!

We used to have this shop in my hometown, but sadly, it shutdown. They have these awesome puffs filled with creamy custard. We got chance to try different flavors, like cheese and Oreo. These puffs were super tasty and definitely worth trying!

I first discovered Beard Papa in Hawaii and have been a fan ever since in the USA. Unfortunately, they don’t have a store in Türkiye, so it was such a delightful surprise to find it here after more than 13 years! The cream puffs are just as delicious as I remember.

These puffs are super delicious! I've gone here multiple times during my stay in Akihabara. The puffs are consistent both in size and flavour. I would recommend to anyone passing buy as they are a great sweet treat that are not expensive.

Beard papa never gets old. We used to have these all the time in London buy sadly they closed down years ago. It was so nice to revisit Beard Papa and taste their amazing cream puffs. Highly recommend for a nice snack as you explore Akihabra.

I can never resist a purple sweet potato dessert, so when I saw this one, I just had to buy it. I originally thought it only had sweet potato powder sprinkled on top, but it turned out the cream inside was also mixed with bits of sweet potato. It was absolutely delicious! I wish we had this in the UK.

I just love beard papa generally.... Have tried strawberry, almond and other specials but custard standard is still my favourite!

Yelp
This is the premier Beard Papa location in all of Tokyo. Really? No, but it's the first one I've been to many years back and it's conveniently located nearby Akihabara station. If you've ever had Beard Papa in the states, expect the same level of quality you would expect from the Beard Papa brand, but cheaper. Plus, there's always random extra flavors like various cheesecake variants and other things that you wouldn't find in the states. It's a great snack to grab at the end of a long day at Akiba or Yodobashi. Also, they take card now. TIP: Tips aren't allowed in Japan.

Yelp
Yummy cream puff. It does have a LOT of cream though, if you like that. Tried the original puff for 160¥. The cream was cold which was unexpected. I had trouble finding it, but it's literally next to yodobashi in a walkway next to Croissant taiyaki and vie de France.

Yelp
Other than the fact that they put cream inside the puff on the spot, there is nothing special about this ball of cream. There is just too much cream in the puff. It's like once you bite into it, the cream just comes gushing out onto everywhere you dot want it to go. Be warned about the mess this cream puff makes lol.

Yelp
This Beard Papas is located right across from Yodabashi by AKIHABARA station. The cream puffs are fresh and are filled and powdered to order. In true Japan fashion, there always seems to be a limited edition flavor. In the summer it seems to be a "rare cheese" flavor which is almost like a lemony cheesecake flavor and in spring there is a strawberry mochi one which is super delicious. If you're passing through, beard papas is an excellent place for a sweet snack.

Yelp
MILK custard in cookie puff all the way!! The Cookie crust top adds extra crunch and amps up the deliciousness! The milk custard is new, not sure if it's for a limited release, and it's so light and creamy. Can get half a dozen down -easy!

Yelp
What is there to say, this place has really good Puff. There appears to be a limited edition green tea thing, it was really good. Feels guilty after eating though.
