The cream puffs from here are great. They are best eaten immediately, when the outside of the puff is room temperature and the inside is cold.

Big soft pastry shells, filled with tasty flavoured cream and topped with icing sugar or chocolate. Whats not to love about Beard Papa? The new location in FiDi is small and staff are nice and friendly. I recommend the classic vanilla filling and a chocolate topping!

Beard Papa’s never disappoints! The cream puffs are always fresh, light, and filled with the most delicious flavors. The staff is friendly, and the service is excellent. It’s the perfect place to treat yourself or grab something sweet for any occasion. Highly recommend giving it a try—definitely five stars!

So good! Crunchy exterior on the cream puff, not too sweet at all not the cream nor the pastry. Had a delicious soft filling. It was the perfect balance. I could eat the entire box! I ordered the churro and crème brûlée with vanilla filling. Friendly staff that made everything to order and did it with a smile.

I dare you to get the purple Oreo puff with matcha filling. It’s heavenly.

This dessert shop is a hidden gem! The puffs are perfectly crisp, filled with creamy goodness, and come in a variety of irresistible flavors. Highly recommend!

The cream puffs were delicious and the staff who was helping me was very nice especially since I had a hard time understanding some things. Would recommend to anyone wanting a tasty treat

coming from someone who loves cream puffs, and would consider it my favorite dessert, i do believe that everyone should try beard papa. i ordered the original with vanilla filling and an ube with matcha filling. the crust was amazing, and the filling was very flavorful and light, which i loved! this specific location is kind of hidden since the street is slightly under construction, but be sure to be on the lookout for their sign and to give it a try! they also have many other locations throughout the city as well! service was also super quick and they were super kind! note the store is small and does not have any seating.

While I did we go to this Fidi location for an event where the puffs were free of charge I have to say I've been wanting try these for a whole at their midtown location. As for the puff. The pastry was fresh and crunchy, the Oreo with chocolate filling as absolutely amazing! The vanilla cream was okay. I'll definitely be back, what I liked most was that the cream puff wasn't overly sweet or soggy.

Cream puffs were fresh: I definitely enjoyed the cream over the actual puff. I tried the lemon blast which was not overwhelmingly tangy, and the original vanilla puff. The shop is small - no seating. Barely room for more than 2 customers inside. Max amount of people would be 3 comfortably, so prepare to wait outside. Due to the nature of being novelty items there's only one room for one person to be working preparing the puffs behind the counter so make sure you pack the patience if you come. Someone ordered a pack of 12 in front of you could leave you waiting a while. Worth the try!

Tiny take-out chain for cream puffs. On their website it says this location is open from 11am on weekdays, but when I stopped by at 11:30am on Monday the staff told me they open at 12pm. It seemed like they were still cleaning and the choux was in the oven. Bummer since I deliberately stopped by the area just for cream puffs.

I was looking for something and happened to see they have Beard Papa in FiDi. I am like has this been here and I never knew? I told my friend and she never heard of it and I told her I wanted to stop by here when we meet up. This place is super small. Like max capacity for customers would be two and three is a clusterf... I asked the dude how long have they been open. He said 3 months and I asked if they still get their dough from Japan. He looked at me crazy and I said yeah back in the days, yall get your dough from Japan. He asked the other dude and he said Singapore. I was like hopefully it's still good and my friend just texted me when we parted that it was delicious. Glad they have one in downtown again.

Excited for this new location- there can never be enough Beard Papa locations. Very small space - the outside scaffolding also makes it easy to miss the store. Stopped by on a Sunday afternoon and picked up two puffs- an original puff with vanilla cream and a purple Oreo with matcha filling. Only one staff person working in this small space and the filling pumps are positioned very awkwardly under the counter- I can understand wanting maximize use of small spaces but it's a bit ridiculous that whoever owns this location set it up like this to have employees having to squat to fill the puffs. The staff person was nice. Puffs were delicious and not too sweet. That purple Oreo puff with matcha filling was heavenly.

Teeny tiny location that's easy to miss if you're not looking out for it -- having even just four customers inside is a full house (and there are no seats)! That being said, the process of order the cream puffs was seamless. I also LOVE that you can mix and match the flavors of the cream + puff (meaning we got cream puffs like cookies n cream with matcha filling). The cream puffs are pretty big too, which makes the price point worth it for an NYC dessert location.

yummy! small shop, was delicious and the filling and puff was super freshly made even though we went at 8:30 pm on a Thursday night - close to closing time. I liked the original cream puff, and the strawberry filling. Note the puffs with flavored coating on the outside are pretty sweet

Cute little shop for pastries. The cream puffs are sweet and flavorful with a light crispy shell. The store is a bit tight so I'd probably order online if possible. Unfortunately, I can't upload photos because the app keeps crashing every time I select to upload a photo.

A costumer came in with them last night at jimmy John's for my staff!!! Those cream puffs are so tasty and delicious!!!! I didn't even know it was around the corner from my job!! The prices are well worth of getting them!

I visited on a whim. The puff was fresh crispy and airy. I got the Creme brûlée version the vanilla filling was not too sweet and I saw them torch the sugar right in front of me. This was $6 but well worth it. There is no space for sitting but it is very clean and inviting.

Loved it. I took my daughter and she loved it. Only thing is that she wishes she could sit and eat it. But I get it rent is so expensive. Maybe when it gets warmer they can put some chairs outside? You can tell the person making it is an entrepreneur. So con greats!

Cream puffs are amazing!!! The crispy shell and the intoxicating and completely addictive filling is the perfect ensemble of melt in your mouth cream puffs!

Probably the smallest Beard Papa's I've ever seen--there is no space for seating. That being said the cream puffs are DELICIOUS.
