Save Yourself the Disappointment - Skip Bea's Bakery!
I can't even explain how unbelievably bad this experience was. We ordered what was supposed to be a special cake for my mom's birthday, and it turned out to be the biggest letdown.
First red flag: the cake came out plain. No flowers, no decoration--just sad and bare. When my niece brought it up, they brushed her off and said there was nothing they could do. Then, they had the nerve to charge her an extra $6 for some tiny, half-hearted flowers that looked like they were just painted on. Completely cheap and insulting.
But it got worse. When we cut into the cake, the filling was supposed to be fresh raspberries instead, it was this awful jelly-like goop that tasted artificial and slimy. The cake itself literally fell apart. Honestly, it was the worst cake our family has ever had from Bea's, and we've been coming here for over 20 years.
Something has clearly changed, ownership, management, or just pure neglect, but Bea's Bakery has gone downhill fast. This was a milestone birthday, and they ruined it with garbage-quality product and zero accountability.
If you're thinking about ordering here, don't do it. There are plenty of bakeries that still care about their craft and their customers. Bea's is NOT one of them anymore.
Trust me--save your money, save your event, and go anywhere else.
