Seedlip Is Changing the Way We Think About Mocktails

"Next in the pipeline is Beasley, an experimental nursery and laboratory housed on Branson's family farm. Named after the Old English name for a pea meadow, the lab is dedicated to both forgotten plants and growing techniques to create new products." - Abbe Baker

We had a really good experience visiting this farm! There were lots of vendors, plenty of fresh produce options at great prices and excellent quality. Parking and admission are free, which is very smart because it brings in so many people. Make sure to bring some cash — the corn maze, petting zoo, and some vendors only accept cash. Overall, it was a lovely experience, and we definitely recommend it!

It was super fun for the pumpkin patch. They had good good trucks and a petting zoo that my baby loved. They had cows and chickens and goats. They had a maze and pick your own flowers. They had a ball pit and corn pit. Great time, I highly recommend

My family and I love this place and always drive the 35 minutes. It’s always worth it! Unfortunately, we went to the autumn festival today and were pretty disappointed. Having gone to previous events and even lazy weekends, it seems different this time. Every activity has a price tag. $1 to pick three zinnia flowers, 1$ per sunflower, $5 pony rides, $3 petting zoo, $1 to feed the animals, and $5 to go through a maze of sunn hemp flowers. While I understand wanting to monitor how much people feed the animals, everything else seemed a little excessive. But, I also understand when a location gets popular, price tags start appearing. On top of that, I purchased some Old Florida tortilla chips for $4.25 from the produce stand and they were five days past the expiration date and stale. We will, of course, be back. But I think we will only come during non-event weekends. Still love the farm and the family!

Love it! Picked up some flowers, and grabbed some food and drinks from the vendors. Very affordable fun day! Mini pet zoo, poney rides, farmer's market style vendors, pet friendly, free parking (plenty of space inside and outside) and free admission. Enjoyed every minute, even though it was only my hubby and I.

My toddler loved it! I took my son here because he wanted to see some animals while my husband was working. I told my husband all about it and we’ll be back to check out the shop and buy some produce! Really pretty flowers too!

Went there for the 1st time today. Loved it. I’ll be back next week. Bought 2 of the $10 boxes along with other goodies. Fed the chickens and cows. There are rabbits too. They have plants. Very calming area. They have a few picnic tables if you wanted to do a picnic.

Google
Lovely, hidden gem with great prices on truly fresh produce. The only downside is limited fruits, but then not many fruits are grown locally. Staff are all friendly and very accommodating. Beautiful, fresh, seasonal veggies & some other fun, local treats (breads, jams, pickles, etc...). Excellent value on the weekly $10 box. ... and I understand that we are meant to eat seasonally, so a win-win in my opinion!

Yelp
Lovely farm and staff. Offers a variety of fresh produce, beautiful flowers, herbs, and you can even feed the animals for free. Donations off course are welcomed. There is something for the whole family. Looking forward to return throughout the season to observe the flower blossoming.

Yelp
A great place for farm fresh produce. They are mainly vegetables but do have a nice selection of country jams, jellies and butters. The people here are great. Their smiles and kindness will make your day.

Yelp
I saw an ad online for their market (which is every second weekend of the month) and decided to give them a try. They had plants, fresh kettle corn, street corn, craft goods, soap, produce, other grocery items, u-pick sunflowers and beans, and so much more at very affordable prices through various venders. There are adorable cows, goats, chickens, and bunnies that you can feed for free on market weekends. They also offer a bottle and water to take u-pick sunflowers home in. Staff was very friendly. I recommend that if you plan on doing any u-pick activities that you bring boots or something that can withstand mud- especially if there has been rain recently. Also, bring a change of clothes if you're going somewhere after just in case you get a little muddy. The cow was so excited for me to give her corn that she stomped her foot and covered my pants in mud! This is a real farm where food is grown and animals are raised. If you don't want to get a little dirty, you can stay on the gravel path which has the vendors, chickens, and farmer's market.

Yelp
#ThankYouThursday I am thankful that places like this still exist. I drove all the way up from Palm Harbor to check them out because 1. I knew they had a sunflower patch and 2. I read about their fresh produce. It was well worth the Sunday morning drive to check it out and support local. I, of course, forgot to bring something to put the sunflowers in that I clipped so do remember that if you have a drive to make like I did as mine did begin to wilt by the time I got home but some fresh water and they perked back up. The sunflower patch is small but beautiful and we had plenty of flowers to choose from when deciding which ones we wanted. It wasn't too crowded either so no need to feel rushed. They have farm animals as well that you can feed, the goats will LOVE you. Even without food they will come right up to you at the gate. The produce sizes and prices are AWESOME. I got three "regular" sized zucchini that are easily 3 times the size that I would get at Publix for $1.00 each. They had jumbos for $2.00 each but I was more than happy with the "regular" sized. Afterwards I was even thinking... "will these even fit in my spiralizer?" Might have to pull out the big guns and get the Kitchenaid attachment out vs my portable one. Now, if only this place was closer to home. Once everything is allowed to open up, I can see myself making this drive again, there are other places up there to visit and explore. On the way back we did a To-Go pick up at Marker 48 for some of their tasty beers so right there, 2 birds, 1 stone!!

Yelp
SUCH a FANTASTIC FIND!!! A girlfriend of mine told me about the Beasley Farm and it is a wonderful place. it's not too far out of town, even coming from the west. Beautiful drive as you get closer to the farm. Once you arrive you will see the crops and the animals all around you. They take excellent care of their property so it's not dirty or stinky. they have a storefront of sorts where they display canned goods, crafts, veggies, eggs, and so on. on Sundays, Mondays, and Tuesdays they have their $10 produce boxes available. I decided to get a $10 produce box as well as some canned items, eggs, and lettuce. my husband and I were amazed by how fresh and delicious everything was throughout the week. Will definitely be back as often as I can get over there. if you are just looking for fresh veggies definitely find them at the farmers markets around town, I think they have their hours/locations on their website. Follow them on Facebook to see announcements on what will be available in each produce box as well as when they're open pick days are. Make sure to bring kids, they'll love seeing and interacting with the animals. Really, it's so important for everyone to see what's behind the food on their plate. Gives a great appreciation for the farmers, the animals, and the local economy.

Yelp
Stopped by to check this out. The have a weekly $10 box filled with an assortment of fresh vegetables. They preselect what you get. Clean stand with some other choices. They also sell vegetables at the weekly Spring Hill market Saturday's on 19. It's nice to buy local

Yelp
Wow, I'm the first to review Beasley Farm? I'm a bit surprised by this, considering how excellently their produce, people, and beautiful farm have served me and so many friends over the years. I first discovered Beasley farm in 2013 when I was living in Spring Hill & working with private clients as a personal chef. I would often visit Rolo at his nearby farmstand on Fridays, but visiting the farm was also a pleasant experience. They had loads of fresh produce, picked on the day, from which to choose. I would often call ahead and let them know what I was after, and they would be sure to pick for me to order. The produce grown on thier farm is always fresh, delicious, exceptionally healthful, free of chemicals/pesticides/waxes, and astonishingly abundant (be forewarned: a "bunch" of kale or collard greens is enough to feed several families at once). One day we visited the farm when there was some older kale around, and we were asked if we might like to share that with some goats who lived on the property. I love animals (goats are some of my favourite friends in the world), so this was a super special treat for all of us! I cannot say enough good things about Beasley's Farm, and sometimes wish that I could have them ship to me when I'm not in Florida. If you get a chance to visit, please do yourself a favour and follow that opportunity!

Yelp
If you want fresh produce, and you want to support your local farmers, you have to come to Beasley Farm. For $10, they give you a nice basket of veggies. Always fresh and just top notch. Lovd this place. Still the best place in town to get fruits and vegetables. And they still have a great little package for just $10 of vegetables and fruit.

Yelp
Great place!!! Such nice people, beautiful fresh air environment! Absolutely amazing feeling you get driving thru beautiful country, meeting the good people who grew your food-- verses experience in grocery store!!! You've gotta try the huge "all-day" carrots-- so juicy! Great $10 boxes of a variety of freshly grown produce. It's also fun to go on their farmers market weekends when they have different vendors all set up, food trucks, etc. Kids enjoy getting time feeding the animals. Thank you, Beasley Farms, you're one of a kind & a definite favorite!!!

Yelp
Beasley's is a diamond in the rough. You can get a week of produce for 10$ from the produce boxes the sell. they have some great extras in the produce barn too, you have to wash them a little more than store bought food because the food is so fresh it still has some earth on it most of the time. I'm so happy I found this place they're between Mondon hill and croom rd on Preston and well worth a visit

Yelp
Wonderful kettle corn. Loved the corn and tomatoes. Nothing like fried green tomatoes. Great place to bring your children. They can feed the animals. They have rabbits, chickens, goats, and more. Lois and Floyd Curtis.
