Best grooming in the west village! The groomer is great and really receptive to direction on grooming and Martin is lovely. Definitely need to book in advance as they book up quickly but happy with my dogs cut every time! Before and after pics :)

The only place in the entire city that carries Raised Right dog food and Solutions broth! They have saved us so many times, and they offer hand delivery (in Manhattan). The staff is super friendly and helpful, too. The best!!

Beware! Their house brand is expensive and very poor quality. Bought this harness and within 3 months it was rusted through. Even stained my dog’s fur orange! Would have expected something so expensive meant for a dog—that is bound to get wet—would be made with stainless steel. When I had first bought the harness, the man at the counter had told me I could bring it back if I ever had an issue. When I did, I was told the return window (only a few weeks) had passed and they tried to sell me a new one. What a joke! Their name brand items are ok, but generally more expensive than elsewhere. Might buy something if I needed it immediately, but never buying their house brand again.

Beasty Feast is the best local pet store. They have it all: supplies, grooming, and even classes! We buy most of our supplies here, our dogs both get groomed here, and we’ve done a number of the classes. Nothing but good experiences. Martin is fantastic and is always so helpful. I don’t know what we’d do without this place!

The staff is incredible and the product selection is thoughtful but also substantial. This is a great place to pick up the basics for your for kegged friend in the city.

I needed dog food for my pup and I stopped in to grab some. I was happily surprised they had the dog food I needed and also included some treats for my pup! The store was clean, warm and cozy. The staff greeted me as soon I entered, Signed me up for the rewards program and even made small talk. I appreciated the kindness and his enthusiasm to assist me. I'll def be back when in the area!

So happy to be a customer of Beasty Feast. Have brought my pups in a few times now for grooming and could not be more pleased. The best cuts they have ever had. Martin, Fred, and staff are the absolute best. We make a bit of a trip to the shop just because it is so hard to find a groomer you really trust - Beasty Feast is that place. 5 star/AAA.

Stopped at this store to buy some Xmas presents for my pup and some of his friends. They have a great selection of food, treats and fresh raw food. I also got some frozen treats for my dog! The staff is very friendly and helpful.

I came to BeastyFeast today to buy a harness, and although I was not able to bring the actual dog with me, the gentleman working at the store was extremely kind, professional, and helpful. Lola looks amazing in her new harness, and it fits perfectly! I regrettably forgot to ask for the man's name, but thank you so so much for helping me as many times as you did!

Brought my puppy here for puppy class and the staff are always so helpful and friendly. They have a wide range of pet supplies from accessories to food.

We come here for all our Gerbert treats and foods and toys. He darts in here weekly, down 14th Street, past CVS, and straight through the doorway, to assess the beef-and-pork chew situation and choose his favorite. They always have top quality stuff and are always offering him free treats and me, advice on good foods, treats, and tips on flying cross-country with Gerbert. The staff is relentlessly kind and helpful. We love coming here. 5 stars!!!!!

My cat had goop in his eyes and it wouldn't go away. Then the cashier suggested no chicken so I switched to turkey. My cat's eyes are clear now. I always buy here when I get a chance because they are in a good location and they have great products.

The guy was extremely rude on the phone. ( after i said politely why my appointment was canceled and that i was going to send the vaccine record today ( 5 days before the grooming session).. he said : why don't you act like a human being and read the text like other human-beings do, take responsibilty for your actions etc.. etc.. i had no choice but to say : have a good day .. thank you I am glad I didn't get to take my puppy there. Maybe the guy on the phone was having a very bad day but still it is not acceptable speaking to a new customer in a very angry manner on the phone. seriously very scary. Avoid

I truly love this establishment. Everyone who works there is lovely and helpful, and I feel so welcome every time I'm there. And the grooming...well I've brought my dogs to several groomers through the years and I think Beasty Feast is the best in the city, honestly. Jamie grooms my dogs and she is a magician - no matter the state I bring them to her in, they come out looking perfect, and happy too! She's so kind and gentle with them. I am fortunate enough to live close by but if I ever were to move to a different neighborhood in the city, I would still continue to bring my dogs to Beasty Feast for grooming.

Our dog Winnie comes to get groomed here every 6 weeks and we absolutely love it! She's had 3 amazing experiences with Martins team at Beasty Feast. They're reasonably priced for NYC and it's always fun looking at everything in the store. Highly recommend!

I am a big fan of this place. Although I buy a lot of my dog stuff online, these guys have a great little store that is incredibly well curated, full of very thoughtful and high quality items for your pets. The store is very dog-centric, but they have a cat section as well. I pop in here for lots of little things, like toys and treats, etc. I want to make sure the treats are appropriate for my dog and won't make him sick or break a tooth, etc. This is all possible because they have a knowledgeable staff that really likes dogs. It makes a difference when it is clear that they really care about pets. Although small, I did come in here last week and got a dog bed, all natural shampoo and 2 toys, so you can get everything you need here. In the back of the store there is a dog groomer as well.

First time grooming my pomsky and it was a wonderful experience! They were able to get all the knots out of her fur, she's so fluffy and perfect!

This review is in regards to the grooming services received at Beasty Feast. As a pet store it's a beautiful, well-kept establishment with courteous and helpful staff, unfortunately I also expected the same standard of excellence to apply to their grooming services and was severely disappointed. I have small, well behaved pomeranian who is no stranger to the grooming table. After leaving him at Beasty Feast for an extended amount of time on a very hot Saturday, I received him back and noticed pretty quickly some spots were ragged. The heat and darkness of the shop kept me from voicing concerns there but once I got home and examined the job it was even more apparent that this was not at all a decent groom. Spotty, tufted, ragged, lopsided - his head was barely touched, all shaggy and his feet hadn't been trimmed, not even between the pads. Thankfully I have a groomer in the family and have been known to trim him up myself between professional grooms so I was able to, with an hour of working at it, get him to a presentable place. And for this I paid a premium. I've attempted to reach out to the grooming manager directly and have gotten no response.

We only got to stop in once last time but this time I stayed and went shopping! I for sure am going to have to sign up for overtime after this one!‍ That's OK my babies are worth it!

The owner of Beasty Feast contacted me and apologized for the poor service I received, and also offered a refund. I appreciate his responsiveness and will give this business another chance in the near future and update my review accordingly.

I love this place, it's a wonderful resource for pet owners in the neighborhood. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and they deliver! The selection of dog food is excellent, and they have great dog treats that other pet stores often don't carry. I have completely stopped buying dog food online. If you want to continue seeing lovely stores like this in your neighborhood, buying your pet's food online will help ensure that stores like this will cease to exist. Even if it's a *little* more expensive, to me it's worth it to have a store like this that I can go into and browse. Support your LOCAL independent stores, or they will no longer be around!

What's not to love about BeastyFeast! It has all the qualities of an upscale boutique combined with the warmth and charge charm of your friendly neighborhood store. As the owner of, Rainbow Pet Concierge, an exclusive pet concierge business this shop has been a life saver. They almost always have that random obscure product I'm looking for and if they don't have it, they'll order it! They've squeezed my clients in for a last-minute grooming appointments and shower the pups with love and treats. Every dog I bring here drags me down the block as soon as they realize where were heading. I truly look forward to shopping here! Thanks for the wonder customer service!

This place exemplifies professionalism! I have purchased products and have taken my dog to the groomer here as well. The staff is super friendly and matches the personality of the (even nicer) owner who I had the pleasure in meeting my first appointment. You can also tell that they love animals and not just in the business to make money. I highly recommend them. They also have great food options. Everything from raw food to regular dry foods. Andrew ( employee) is super friendly and always in a great mood! Ask for him if the owner isn't there. I'm happy to be a customer here and will continue to work with them. Groomers: Super friendly and patient. They'll try their best to even squeeze you in if you're a local who just happens to pass by randomly. I do recommend setting an appointment but it's nice to know they're able to adjust. They also are friendly with your pet and will try their best to please you.

Beasty Feast is without a doubt the best one stop shop for all your pet needs. Well informed knowledgeable and friendly staff that can always answer my questions and help me out. They really worked with me to get my dog on the proper diet. Last but not least I love the grooming team!! My dog always gets a great cut and style. P.s. The dog loves them all.

I agree with Abby R. below. The store is nice, clean and people great. For shopping, it seams to be a great place with free delivery in the area. BUT took my cat for her first grooming there and it was unbelievable. She had 2 CUTS on her! One on her belly and one on her arm. The shaving was not even like it was done by somebody inexperienced. So I will definitely be taking my cat somewhere else for grooming. I really appreciate the fact that they refunded me for the grooming.

Beasty-Feast is my go-to pet store for all my needs for my Welsh Corgi. The most important thing is that they have a GREAT selections on food, snacks, toys, grooming products etc. and their prices are very reasonable. Yoshi, my Corgi, also get his bath here and it's always easy to schedule an appointment and they do a wonderful job. Highly recommended!

My Gracie returned from her grooming by Tonya today minus one of her beautiful eyelashes. It's heartbreaking. Must have been a mistake as Tonya (fortunately) didn't remove the other eyelash. She did not mention it when I picked G up. I noticed it later at home. I sure hope the eyelash grows back. Generally, the store would get 5 stars for counter staff and products. Martin is Aplus with customer service. It's my go to for everything but this experience is not my favorite and is a "red flag" for me. guess I need to more specific: Pls don't remove her eyelashes?

Although I frequent in the neighborhood, I wish this place was nearby my house. I'd shop here ALL THE TIME. Beastly Feast is great. The staff is very friendly and helpful. For a fancy pet store that carries all the high-end niche pet products (not to mention it is located in Manhattan), the price is incredibly reasonable. LOVE Pro tip: get Inaba Ciao Churu (you know that creamy kitty crack) here. They sell a packet for under $3. That's even cheaper than any online price I can find.

The selection at Beasty Feast blew my mind. The store is stacked wall-to-wall with every brand and flavour imaginable. Everything is also neat and organized. They also sell cat accessories you can normally only buy online like Modko designer litter boxes and NoBowl feeding system.

Possibly the best pet store ever; they have everything including great advice and support. So lucky to have them in my neighborhood. And if you're ever in a tough spot, they deliver in a flash. WONDERFUL PEOPLE WORK HERE.

Just got my CKC spaniel "Rondo" a bath at Beasty Feast. The groomers do a fantastic job and my dog doesnt hestitate walking in the shop. 5 star service.

I don't take to Yelp often, but I am compelled to write about what I witnessed and a recent review. Although I did not see everything, I heard it. I followed the grooming team to Beasty Feast for Milo's grooming. Milo has since crossed the Rainbow Bridge so I only shop for Miss Kitty's food now. I was in the cat food aisle when I heard a gentleman say something to the effect of "keep your dog on a short leash" then a women's voice was saying something about "there shouldn't be a cat in the store, put the cat away or put the cat on a leash". Then the woman screamed fuck you at the guy. The other guy said don't speak like that, and asked her to leave the shop. The woman refused to leave and when the guy insisted that she leave, she started ranting again and screamed fuck you to him too. That is when the guy used the expletive. But, two wrongs don't make a right. Since she knew there is a cat in the shop and was unable to control her dog she should not have escalated the situation by screaming curse words at those employees, who are in fact essential workers during a pandemic. She can call the store and use their same day delivery service. That's what I do when I feel lazy or when the weather is bad. Again, two wrongs don't make a right but customers need to start being accountable for their actions and words. The customer is not always right. This is how Karen's were born. I also find it suspect that the woman revised her initial review. And that in both versions she left out that fact that she said Fuck You to both gentlemen before one retaliated with language she was obviously accustomed to. I hope we all get along and I look forward to continuing to support Beasty Feast and small businesses in general.

WOW Great Store! I live in the Neighborhood and walk my dog to here all the time and both of us are always excited to go! BeadtyFeast carries my pups favorite freeze-dried chews that I can't find anywhere in the city but here. Plus the Staff is always friendly and helpful. :)

I can't speak to the grooming as we have never used them for that but we buy all our dog food here. Fair prices for NYC and the carry all the good healthy stuff! Very helpful, fast and top quality! Hard to find good stores like this in NYC.

This is by far the best pet store in the city!!! The staff at the 14th street location is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, always going out of their way to make sure I found everything I needed. The selection of high quality products is unparalleled and if there is something they don't have in stock they will order it and make sure it comes in asap. The manager Martin and groomers are so very welcoming, and more importantly, my pup loves this place. Grooming area is behind a glass partition which allows you to see how well they treat the pups. Awesome place!

They need to make their return policy clear before you purchase- not on the receipt which is given after purchase. Add a sign please if you are not able to tell each and every customer. Got stuck with a $75 bag because 'someone forgot to tell me'. Edit: the owner reached out and rectified the return policy to have a sign in the front of the cash registers AND offered me a refund! Now that's why small businesses are great!

My husband and I took took our 15 year old Cockapoo into the city to walk around. As soon as we got out of our car and let our dog do his business, he accidentally got his leg and rear end "dirty" (if you know what I mean). Since we live on Long Island, we had no idea where to go to get our dog cleaned up. We called several places and they were not accommodating. We found BeastyFeast and walked in and explained that we needed him to be cleaned (only the "back part"). The groomers could not have been nicer and more accommodating. They took Rikki and cleaned him up in the tub, dried him and brushed his "back" all for no charge. If we lived in the city, I would definitely be back!!

Had a great grooming experience. Our Maltipoo was well cared for by the new (young) groomer. She was aware and respectful of our particular preferences and she did an excellent job. Our dog has never looked better! The staff at the store is always courteous and responsive. I like the space and how it's set up. It's organized, clean and generally well stocked. I usually have positive experiences here but this time was much more than I have come to expect. Wish I could remember her name. Sorry I can't. She's worth seeking out though ('the younger groomer').

I feel guilty about giving this place fewer than 5 stars because the people at the store are so friendly and helpful. However, I took my dog to get his first grooming here, and he looked awful. I showed the groomer exactly what I wanted; I said that I wanted his face rounded out (standard for a half shi tzu dog), but she made his face look very angular, to the extent that I almost didn't recognize him. She also gave him what appeared to be a Mohawk, and I kept having to ask her to cut it shorter. I was extremely disappointed with my grooming experience here and while its more expensive, I'll be going to reliable groomers on the UWS from now on.

I honestly can't say enough great things about this store. They are the only place in Manhattan that carries the raw beef dog food that I feed my pit bull. Because I live uptown they have it delivered to me anytime I need it and they already know when I'm calling so they greet me by my last name. This is the best pet supply store in Nyc without a doubt!..... Thanks beauty feast John odom

Martin & Tanya have been doing an amazing job for my schnauzer since 2010! Everyone always compliments his haircut. No better groomer in NYC.

I brought my border terrier here to be groomed and was very happy with the results. Tonya (sp?) is a true professional.

I would like to preface this by saying I have NEVER EVER left a review for anything before as far as I can remember. I wish I had read the other grooming reviews before I had taken my dog Mochi. I feel extremely betrayed. I love the store, I love that they make their own grooming products and was extremely excited to try out the grooming, I have seen many dogs coming out looking great when I've come shopping. This was not my experience AT ALL. I dropped my dog off (on my birthday today no less) and this is how I picked up my dog: -- Blotchy, hairs on legs are longer than body.. just sloppy. -- No lion cut even though that was specifically requested -- Nails cut too short, I can see that blood was drawn and even one nail was split in half I had to fix it (I've worked with dogs my whole life and cut his nails myself so I know if nails have been cut too short or not and mochi has no problem with people touching his paws like many small dogs do so this should NOT have happened). -- I SPECIFICALLY said no shaving around private areas, that happened anyways and now he has razor burn on his testicles and penis. -- Had to ask again to cut hair on bottom of belly shorter and still wasn't done properly after I waited 15 minutes for it to be done. -- Just all around a really despicable job, the worst haircut I've ever gotten for my dog and yet the most expensive. -- Really too bad have always loved this place and will NEVER go back. I cannot believe that I spent $100 on a haircut that turned out to be the worst haircut he has ever gotten. I'm so disappointed, I really thought I could trust this place with my dog, because every single other experience has been wonderful but I guess not.

I love giving my business to Beasty Feast. The store is immaculately clean, the shelves are always stocked with all the latest toys and apparel. They carry every brand of food, treat and supplement, too. The staff is always helpful and welcoming. And, the grooming center is terrific. Martin, who manages grooming, is more than a merchant to us, he's a friend. Tonya, the groomer is fantastic. I can't recommend Beasty Feast and its other locations enough.

Martin at Beasty Feast on W. 14th Street is the only place I would bring my dog to be groomed. Dolly gets very scared when I leave her anywhere & they have been able to make her feel so secure and comfortable, that she doesn't even pull away when I bring her there; this in addition, to doing a wonderful job with her grooming. They are always on time, kind & professional. Dolly & I are tough customers to please and they have succeeded with the both of us. Highly recommended! Not too mention the great selection of treats, toys & food.
