I visited Beat The Bomb in Atlanta with my family, and while the overall experience was fun and unique, there were some major concerns that really took away from the visit.
First, the staff was surprisingly rude. From the moment we checked in, we were met with cold attitudes and unwelcoming behavior. They didn't want to answer simple questions we had about how things worked or what to expect -- it felt like we were bothering them just by asking.
Another issue was the music being played after we finished our game. As we were walking through the building, a song came on that repeatedly said "gtf out." It was loud, vulgar, and completely inappropriate -- especially in a place that markets itself as a fun, family-friendly experience.
That said, once we got into the actual game, I did enjoy spending time with my family and solving the challenges together. The concept is cool, the tech is impressive, and it definitely brought out our competitive side in a fun way.
In short -- the game itself was fun, but the rude staff, unwillingness to help, and offensive music after the game definitely took away from the overall experience. I'd recommend going if you're curious, but I strongly suggest management take a serious look at their customer service and environment.
